Abstract

This study investigates the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in shaping themoral development of fourth-grade students at SDN 4 Cilangkap. The researchstems from growing concerns regarding moral degradation among elementarystudents, which manifests through impolite behavior, dishonesty, and a lack ofrespect towards teachers and peers. The study aims to (1) describe theimplementation of PAI in the classroom, (2) analyze the moral behavior ofstudents, and (3) identify supporting and inhibiting factors in moral development.Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation,interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that while the school hasimplemented regular religious activities such as communal prayers, Quranrecitation, and Islamic values integration in daily routines, students still facechallenges in internalizing moral values. Influencing factors include the role ofparents, teachers, school culture, and external influences such as media and peerinteraction. The study concludes that although the PAI curriculum plays a vital rolein promoting moral awareness, its effectiveness is contingent upon consistency inapplication and collaboration between school and home environments. Therefore,for Islamic education to effectively shape student morality, it must be reinforcedthrough a holistic approach involving structured learning, character-basedpractices, and active moral modeling by educators and parents alike.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Project Based Learningmodel on science learning outcomes (IPAS) regarding the topic of humanrespiratory organs and their functions among fifth-grade students at SDNWatupecah, Rembang Regency. This research is a quantitative study using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study consisted of all fifth-grade students at SDN Watupecah in the 2024/2025 academic year, with asample of 20 students selected using non-probability sampling with a simplerandom sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through interviews,observation, tests, and documentation. The results of the normality test indicatedthat the pretest and posttest data were normally distributed. The t-test resultsshowed that the average pretest score was 56.55 and the average posttest scorewas 80.4, with N = 20. The calculated t-value was 4.024, while the critical t-valueat a significance level of 0.05 with 19 degrees of freedom was 2.093. Since thecalculated t-value is greater than the critical t-value (t_calculated > t_table), thenull hypothesis (H₀) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H₁) is accepted.Therefore, it can be concluded that the Project Based Learning model is effectivein improving science learning outcomes on the topic of human respiratory organsand their functions among fifth-grade students at SDN Watupecah, RembangRegency. Based on the results, the researcher suggests that the Project BasedLearning model can be used as a variation in teaching, as its implementationcreates an active, enjoyable, and effective learning environment that enhancesstudent achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the development and validity of liveworksheet-basedElectronic Student Worksheets (E-LKPD) as learning resource innovations thatcan be used in the learning process. This research uses a development researchapproach with the ADDIE model which consists of three stages, namely analysis,design, and development. Data was collected through interviews andquestionnaires addressed to validator experts and response questionnaires. Thevalidation results by the subject matter expert obtained a final score of 95.31%"Very valid", linguists obtained 92.5% "Very valid", and design experts 92.85%"Very valid". Overall, the validity of liveworksheet-based E-LKPD obtained anaverage score of 93.55% so that E-LKPD based on liveworksheet is categorizedas "Very valid" without revision and is already feasible to use. This liveworksheet-based E-LKPD also received responses from teachers and students with a scoreof 100% with a very good category, so that the liveworksheet-based E-LKPD wasdeclared suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of PISA 2022 which show that students'reading ability in Indonesia is still low. Therefore, to overcome the low readingliteracy of students, the right learning model with a syntax that is easy toremember is needed, one of which is the RADEC (Read-Answer-Discuss-Explain-Create) learning model. This study aims to determine the influence of theapplication of the RADEC learning model on students' reading ability. This studyused a quasi-experimental design with one experimental class using the RADEClearning model and one control class using the Cooperative Script learning model.The research sample was 70 students from a total population of 113 students. Theresults of the study showed that there was a positive and significant relationshipbetween the RADEC learning model and the reading comprehension ability ofstudents in the experimental class.

Abstract

Online gambling in Sumenep Regency has increased significantly due to easy digital access and low legal literacy among the community. The geographical conditions of the archipelago are also a challenge in terms of supervision and enforcement. This study aims to analyze the strategy of the Sumenep Police in dealing with online gambling crimes during the period 2022–2024. The approach used is qualitative descriptive with a case study type. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with police officers and related parties, participatory observation of educational activities and internal raids, and documentation from official sources. The results of the study show that the mitigation strategy consists of four main approaches: repressive through law enforcement against perpetrators; preventive and educational through socialization programs such as "Polres Goes to School"; and coordinative by involving local governments and educational institutions. However, weaknesses are still found in the aspect of cyber supervision due to limited technology and resources. Therefore, this study recommends increasing the capacity of the Cyber ​​Crime Unit, procuring digital monitoring tools, and more intensive cooperation with central institutions such as Kominfo and PPATK. This study is expected to be a practical reference for law enforcement in the archipelago region and provide academic contributions in the development of locally-based cybercrime prevention strategies.

Abstract

The ability to read and comprehend is very important to help children learn things.Through correct and good reading activities, it is hoped that children will be able toabsorb the essence of the reading they read and get something from the readingactivities they do. This study is to find out: (1) To find out the ability of readingcomprehension in Indonesian subjects of grade IV students of SDN 52Singkawang (2) Factors that affect the ability to read comprehension in Indonesiansubjects of grade IV students of SDN 52 Singkawang. The research used isqualitative research. The subjects of this study are grade IV teachers and 10students from grade IV, where students will represent the characteristics of thepopulation as a whole. The results of the study show that (1) There are twocategories of students reading comprehension ability in Indonesian subjects,namely the middle and low categories. (2) There are two factors that affectstudents& reading ability, namely internal and external factors. In internal factors,things that affect students reading comprehension ability are emotional controland vocabulary. Meanwhile, external factors affect students reading ability,namely the family environment and the school environment.

Abstract

This study aims to improve studentslearning outcomes in the topic of figurativelanguage (majas) through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL)model using flashcard media in Class IVa of SDN Bangka 3 Bogor. The problemfaced in teaching figurative language is students’ low comprehension due to theabstract nature of the material and the predominance of lecture-based methods,which make learning less engaging. This research is a Classroom Action Research(CAR) conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation,and reflection stages. Data were collected through learning outcome evaluations inthe form of multiple-choice tests. The results showed an improvement in studentlearning outcomes from the first to the second cycle. In Cycle I, out of 26 students,73.08% achieved mastery with an average score of 79.62. In Cycle II, out of 30students, 80% achieved mastery with an average score of 86.67. This improvementindicates that the PBL model combined with flashcard media is effective in enhancingstudents learning outcomes in figurative language material. Therefore, using PBLalong with visual media such as flashcards is recommended in Bahasa Indonesialearning, particularly for abstract materials like figurative language.Keywords: Problem Based Learning, Flashcard, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

The Pancasila Student Profile is used as a guideline in the process of shapingstudent character in accordance with the noble values of the Indonesian nation. Atthe elementary school level, which is the first stage of formal education, its role iscrucial in shaping character values and national culture for all students. Thepurpose of this research is to: (1) Determine the planning of art extracurricularactivities at SD Negeri Girikerto 2. (2) Determine the implementation of danceextracurricular activities at SD Negeri Girikerto 2. (3) Determine the evaluation ofdance extracurricular activities at SD Negeri Girikerto 2. This research uses aqualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques includeobservation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that theimplementation of the Pancasila Student Profile in dance extracurricular activitiesbased on local wisdom at SD Negeri Girikerto 2 is carried out through planning,implementation, and evaluation processes. This activity has implemented sixdimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile and promotes positive developmentfor students' talents and the school. Through the Orek-Orek dance, a traditionaldance from Ngawi, this extracurricular activity also builds cultural identity andinstills the noble values of traditional arts in students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the expository method on students&#39;learning outcomes in Social Studies (IPS) subjects for fifth-grade students at SDMuhammadiyah Perumnas, Makassar City. This research employed a quantitativeapproach using a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttestdesign. The study involved 17 students, consisting of 7 boys and 10 girls. Datawere collected through pretest and posttest assessments and analyzed usingdescriptive and inferential statistics through a paired sample t-test. The analysisresults showed an increase in the average student score from 66.47 (pretest) to82.65 (posttest), with a difference of 16.18 points. The normality test indicated thatthe data were normally distributed (significance = 0.200), and the t-test resultsshowed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores(significance = 0.000< 0.05). Therefore, it can be concluded that the expositorymethod has a significant effect on improving studentsSocial Studies learningoutcomes. This method is effective for classroom instruction because it deliversmaterial systematically and enhances students understanding of key concepts inthe subject.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL)model in improving critical thinking skills of fifth grade students in Natural andSocial Sciences (IPAS) learning at SDN Sumbersari, Kabupaten Purwakarta, inthe 2024/2025 academic year. Classroom action research used StringersLook–Think–Act cycle for two cycles with 30 students. The observation instrumentwas developed based on five groups of critical thinking indicators, including simpleexplanations, basic support, inferences, advanced explanations, and strategiesand tactics. The results showed an increase in the average critical thinking scorefrom 76.40 in Cycle I to 84.95 in Cycle II (an increase of 8.55 points). All indicatorsincreased, confirming that PBL provides an authentic problem-solving context thatstimulates reasoning, reflection, and metacognitive awareness. These findingsrecommend the wider application of PBL to foster higher-order thinking skills inelementary schools.
