Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

Islamic education in Indonesia has experienced a dynamic development since the pre-colonial period through traditional institutions such as pesantren, surau, and madrasah that functioned as centers of religious and moral education. The arrival of Dutch colonialism changed the course of Islamic education through discriminatory policies aimed at reducing its influence in indigenous society. Colonialism introduced a more controlled Western education system and sidelined Islamic education, which had to adapt amidst the pressure. Despite facing many obstacles, Islamic education played a significant role in awakening the spirit of nationalism and became a means of resistance against colonialism. After independence, Islamic education transitioned into a more inclusive national system, although it still faces the challenge of maintaining Islamic values amid globalization. This research focuses on the traces of colonialism in Islamic education in Indonesia, examining its impact on the structure of education as well as the adaptation process that continues to this day. Through this historical analysis, it is hoped that a deeper understanding of the role of Islamic education in building national identity and the development of relevant educational policies will emerge.

This development research is based on problems in learning IPAS and the low science literacy skills of elementary school students. The purpose of the research is to develop ethnoscience-based digital teaching materials to improve science literacy skills. This research uses R&D with the ADDIE model approach. Data collection techniques include: questionnaires and documentation. The results of research and development show that the material expert validation consists of 3 validators, which obtained an average value of 83 with a very feasible category to use. While the media expert obtained an average value of 86 with a category very feasible to use. Learning experts get an average value of 87 with a category very feasible to use. So it can be concluded that ethnoscience-based digital teaching materials are very feasible to use.

Problem solving is the process of finding a solution to a problem through the stages of: problem identification, cause analysis, development of alternative solutions, selection of the best solution, and implementation and evaluation of the results. This process requires critical and systematic thinking to achieve effective results. This study is intended to analyze the effect of math anxiety and self-efficacy on students' ability to solve mathematical problems on the material "system of linear equations of two variables (SPLDV)". This research utilizes a quantitative approach through quantitative methods. The sample in the study was composed of 50 VIII grade students who were determined through random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires in measuring math anxiety and self-efficacy, as well as tests to see students' mathematical problem solving skills. Data analysis in this study used multiple linear regression. The findings of this study explain that math anxiety affects students' mathematical problem solving ability. Then, self-efficacy affects students' mathematical problem solving ability, and math anxiety and self-efficacy together affect students' mathematical problem solving ability. Pemecahan masalah adalah proses untuk mencari solusi dari suatu persoalan melalui tahapan: identifikasi masalah, analisis penyebab, pengembangan alternatif solusi, pemilihan solusi terbaik, dan implementasi serta evaluasi hasilnya. Proses ini membutuhkan pemikiran kritis dan sistematis untuk mencapai hasil yang efektif. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan dalam menganalisis pengaruh math anxiety dan self-efficacy terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematis pada materi “sistem persamaan linear dua variabel (SPLDV)”. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui metode kuantitatif. Sampel pada penelitian tersusun dari 50 siswa kelas VIII yang ditentukan melalui teknik random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dalam mengukur math anxiety dan self-efficacy, serta tes untuk melihat kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Temuan penelitian ini menjabarkan bahwa math anxiety berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa,. Lalu, self-efficacy berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa, serta math anxiety dan self efficacy secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa.

This study aims to describe students' mathematical connection ability in solving story problems in terms of self-concept. This research is a qualitative descriptive method. The form of this research is a case study. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Marau. The subjects of this research are students of class VIII C who have studied statistics material. The subjects to be interviewed consisted of 6 students based on high, medium, and low self-concept categories. The subjects of this study were determined using purposive sampling technique. The purposive sampling technique is sampling using certain considerations in accordance with the desired criteria. The instruments used in this research are questionnaires, written tests and interview guidelines. The results showed that students with high category self-concept were able to fulfill all indicators of mathematical connection ability, namely understanding relationships between topics, finding equivalent representations of the same concepts and procedures, and using mathematics in other fields of study or everyday life. This is because students with high self-concept are always optimistic and do not give up easily in solving the problems they face. Students with moderate self-concept category are able to fulfill 2 indicators from 3 indicators of mathematical connection ability, namely finding equivalent representations of the same concepts and procedures, and using mathematics in other fields of study or everyday life. While students with low self-concept are able to fulfill 1 indicator from 3 indicators of mathematical connection ability, namely using mathematics in other fields of study or everyday life. This is because students with low self-concept also tend to hesitate and give up easily in dealing with the problems they face.

Learning motivation is an important factor in realizing the success of learning. The use of media or methods in learning is also important in fostering student learning motivation. This study aims to analyze the role of ice breaking in increasing the learning motivation of grade II elementary school students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the application of ice breaking gets a good response from students and can effectively increase students' attention, enthusiasm and occupation in learning. The ice breaking activities used are varied and relevant to the circumstances or needs of students in learning, helping to create a more active and less boring learning environment. Tujuan dari penelitian yaitu untuk menguji pengaruh model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning tipe Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran IPA di Sekolah Cahaya Pengharapan Abadi. Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode Quasi Eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitaif. Teknik pengambilan subjek penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu siswa kelas VI di Sekolah Cahaya Pengharapan Abadi pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa, yakni rata-rata perbedaan sebesar 7.000. Nilai t yang diperoleh adalah 6.599, denganntingkatlsignifikansi 0.001 (< 0.05), yang mengindikasikan bahwa perbedaan tersebut tidak terjadi secara kebetulan, melainkan merupakan efek nyata dari penerapan metode RTE. Hasil ANOVA juga mendukung temuan ini, dengan nilai signifikansi 0.001 (< 0.05), menandakan adanya perbedaan signifikan dalam nilai peserta didik. menerapkan Model Pembelajaran RTE mampu mengembangkan keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Terpadu pada Sekolah Cahaya Pengharapan Abadi.

This study aims to determine the description of the ability to write student poetry and the effect of the Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model on the ability to write poetry of class V UPTD SD Negeri 39 Parepare students. The approach used is a quantitative approach with a type of pre-experimental research in the form of Pretest-Posttest One Group Only design. The population in this study were all UPTD SD Negeri 39 Parepare students, while the samples were fifth grade students. The research data was obtained by giving a poetry writing test. The data analysis technique is the Paired sample t-test. Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis showed Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 <0.05, so H_0 is rejected and H_1 is accepted. Thus, the conclusion of this study is that there is an increase in the value of students' poetry writing ability before and after being given teaching in the form of Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) learning models in class V UPTD SD Negeri 39 Parepare.

This study was conducted with three main objectives: first, to analyze the implementation of the global method in improving the reading skills of learners at Rumah Belajar Pintar, Klambir Lima Kebun Village; second, to examine the extent of reading skill improvement that can be achieved through the application of the global method at the site; and third, to analyze the influence of the global method on enhancing the reading skills of learners at Rumah Belajar Pintar, Klambir Lima Kebun Village. The study involved a sample of 25 learners selected using the total sampling method, thus including the entire population as research subjects. Data for the study were collected using two primary instruments: questionnaires and observation sheets, to obtain accurate and relevant information regarding the implementation of the global method and its impact on the learners’ reading skills. The collected data were then analyzed using linear regression to determine the extent of the influence of the global method on the learners' reading skills. The results of the study revealed a significant influence of the global method on the improvement of learners' reading skills, with an influence value of 4.791. These findings demonstrate that the global method has a considerable impact on helping learners enhance their reading skills. Based on these results, it is recommended that educators adopt a more active and consistent approach to using the global method as one of the strategies for teaching reading to learners. This approach is expected to contribute to improving the quality of learning and the reading abilities of the learners.

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of using interactive videos assisted by quizizz in the learning process to improve mathematical problem-solving skills and student learning outcomes. The research design used in this study was True Experimental Design. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Ujungrusi 04 Tegal Regency with a population of fourth-grade students totaling 33 students as the experimental class and SD Negeri Harjosari Lor 01 totaling 30 students as the control class. The calculation results for the improvement of problem-solving obtained t-count 5.39 < t-table 1.64. Then the results of Z-count to measure the completeness of learning outcomes obtained Z-count of the experimental class is 2.241225> Z table 1.64. Calculation of student learning outcomes obtained from the results of the T-Test sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05, Ho is rejected. This means that the average value of the mathematical problem-solving ability of the experimental class is better than the control class. The N-gain calculation for the experimental class is 30.2430 or 0.302 including in the medium category. So it can be concluded that using interactive videos assisted by quizizz in learning mathematics can improve students' problem-solving skills and learning outcomes.

This research explores Tapa Malenggang, a traditional dance from Muara Bulian, Jambi, which is not only rich in beautiful movements but also has a deep environmental message. This dance uses movements that tell the story of Tapa Malenggang, with dancers wearing brown cloth as a symbol of the Batang Hari River which is increasingly polluted. In this dance, the dancers' body movements symbolize people's concern about environmental degradation, especially river pollution which plays an important role in their lives. This research aims to analyze the application of the values contained in Tapa Malenggang through dance as a tool for cultural preservation and increasing environmental awareness. Using a qualitative approach with the Grounded Theory method with data sources namely interviews and document studies in the form of tapa malenggang dance and theater performances, and discussions with resource persons. This research aims to produce a theory about the relationship between Tapa Malenggang values, dance and environmental awareness. The research results show that every movement in Tapa Malenggang depicts the narrative, character and values contained in the Tapa Malenggang folklore through the expression of body movements, rhythm and symbolism in the dance. Every element in the Tapa Malenggang story, such as characters, plot and conflict, can be translated into dance movements that depict the journey of the main character, Mambang Diawan (Tapa Malenggang). By telling the story of the pollution of the Batang Hari River through the symbolism of brown cloth, this dance emphasizes the importance of preserving nature and invites people to care more about the environment. This research concludes that Tapa Malenggang is an artistic expression that combines cultural values and environmental awareness, and has an important role in building society's ecological awareness.
