Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of traditional stilt games in sports learning as an effort to improve learning outcomes and collaboration skills of elementary school students. Stilts, as a game that requires balance and physical skills, have the potential to enrich sports learning that not only focuses on physical aspects, but also social aspects, such as cooperation and mutual support between students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with an observation, interview, and documentation approach. The participants of this study were 4th grade students at SDN Bohar Sidoarjo. Through observation and in-depth interviews, it was found that the use of stilts in learning was not only able to improve students' physical agility, but also strengthen collaboration and cooperation skills in groups. Stilt-based sports learning encourages students to help each other and build self-confidence in trying new things, as well as fostering an appreciation for traditional games as part of cultural heritage. The results of this study indicate that learning involving traditional games such as stilts can be an effective method in building students' physical and social abilities in an integrated manner, while supporting the preservation of local culture in elementary school environments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis mekanisme pemrosesan bahasa di otak manusia berdasarkan beberapa teori utama dalam bidang neurolinguistik. Bahasa merupakan aspek kompleks yang melibatkan struktur saraf dan kognitif tertentu, terutama dalam area-area yang dikenal sebagai area Broca dan Wernicke, yang berperan penting dalam produksi dan pemahaman bahasa. Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana teori-teori neurolinguistik seperti teori modularitas, teori konektivitas, dan teori proses paralel menjelaskan keterkaitan antara struktur otak dan fungsi linguistik. Dengan metode tinjauan pustaka, penelitian ini membandingkan hasil dari beberapa studi empiris yang menggunakan teknik neuroimaging untuk memetakan aktivitas otak selama pemrosesan bahasa. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pemrosesan bahasa melibatkan jaringan kompleks dan koordinasi antara berbagai area otak, yang dapat berbeda pada setiap individu tergantung pada faktor-faktor seperti usia, pengalaman bahasa, dan kondisi neurokognitif. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya pemahaman tentang dasar neurologis dari kemampuan berbahasa.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether interactive PowerPoint material has an impact on social communication in grade 4 social studies learning at SD Negeri 011 Dumai. With a one-group pretest-posttest design, this research is included in the pre-experimental design research category. The research participants were class 4 students at SD Negeri 011 Dumai with a total of 40 students, namely class 4A and 4B at SD Negeri 011 Dumai. Purposive sampling was used to determine the sample. Research findings show that PowerPoint learning media has a significant influence on the way of social communication. Thus, it can be said that the social communication strategies of grade 4 students at SD Negeri 011 Dumai are greatly influenced by the use of interactive PowerPoint materials in social studies classes.

Abstract

Peserta didik masih belum terbiasa dengan adanya proses pembelajaran berbasis Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) menggunakan aplikasi. Diperlukan sebuah aplikasi yang dikembangkan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengembangan dan kelayakan tes pilihan ganda berbasis asesmen kompetensi minimum menggunakan aplikasi Plickers. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Menganalisis kebutuhan media evaluasi berbasis AKM yang perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan hasil AKM. Selanjutnya, merancang konsep instrument beserta produk pada tiap butir soal. Dilanjutkan dengan mengembangkan produk yang telah dirancang kepada ahli media, bahasa, dan materi di bidang evaluasi. Melakukan implementasi kepada kelas V-A SDN Tlajung Udik 01 dan mengevaluasi hasil respon peserta didik terhadap produk yang telah dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan tes ini memperoleh 80% dari ahli media, 100% dari ahli bahasa, 89,4% dari ahli materi bidang evaluasi, dan 87% dari respon peserta didik. Adapun hasil uji instrument didapatkan bahwa dari 40 butir soal diperoleh 80% valid, 0,951 reliabel, soal dengan kategori mudah 21,9%, soal dengan kategori sedang 79%, dan 100% daya beda soal dikategori baik. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tes pilihan ganda berbasis asesmen kompetensi minimum menggunakan aplikasi Plickers sangat layak untuk digunakan dalam materi penyajian data. Abstract

Latar belakang dilakukannya penelitian ini karena rendahnya kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa dan kurangnya inovasi yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model PJBL berbasis etnomatematika tanean lanjhang terhadap kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa kelas IV sebagai salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa yang rendah. Metode penelitian pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 27 siswa dengan menggunakan Teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Teknik analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk menganalisis hasil observasi, angket, dan wawancara.Teknik analisis inferensial digunakan untuk menganalisis hasil tes kemampuan literasi-numerasi dengan menggunakan uji prasyarat berupa uji normalitas dengan teknik Shapiro Wilk, yang kemudian diuji dengan uji-t paired sample t test untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,00 < 0,05 sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa Ho ditolak dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pengguanaan model pembelajaran PJBL berbasis etnomatematika tanean lanjhang terhadap kemampuan literasi-numerasi siswa kelas IV.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of the times or 21st century learning with the development of technology which causes a lack of concern for the surrounding environment. So that students at this time still cannot form good characters, especially in empathizing. Based on pre-research, the author is interested in the existence of Social Emotional Learning at MI Rahmania Islamic School. This study aims to determine the application and effectiveness of Social Emotional Learning on the formation of empathy for students at MI Rahmania Islamic School. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The data collection technique is by using observation, interview, and documentation methods. And data analysis techniques are carried out through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this study indicate that the application of Social Emotional Learning in the formation of empathy for students at MI Rahmania Islamic School shows good planning, implementation, and evaluation. The formation of empathy for grade 5 students at MI Rahmania Islamic School in the cognitive aspect has been formed and seen significantly based on the results of the initial and final observation assessments on the perspective taking and fantasy components. This shows that Social Emotional Learning has been successful and quite effective in providing changes in the formation of learners' empathy.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the implementation of the power of two type active learning strategy in improving students' critical thinking skills in the subject of Al-Qur'an Hadith. This type of research is a quantitative experiment. This research is a population research with 33 students in class IV. The research instrument consists of a questionnaire on critical thinking ability. The data analysis used used was a prerequisite test consisting of a normality test and a hypothesis test using the ancova test. In the Ancova test, the P value of 0.001 < 0.05 means that H0 is rejected to accept H1 = the TPOT-type active learning learning strategy applied has a significant effect on students' critical thinking skills. in the marginal mean information, the highest mean was obtained, namely the TPOT strategy with a mean value of 85,253 while the conventional strategy was 77,606, so that the TPOT strategy had a significant effect on thinking ability. Further tests using Post Hoc obtained a P value of 0.001, the value is less than 0.05 or less than alpha 5%, so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in students' critical thinking skills between students who participate in conventional learning and students who participate in learning using the TPOT strategy. The results of the study showed that the power of two type active learning learning strategy could improve the critical thinking skills of grade IV students at MI Miftahul Huda Jenu Tuban.

Abstract

Numeracy skills are one of the basic competencies that are very important for students at the elementary school level, therefore the development of effective learning media is very important to improve students' numeracy skills. This study aims to analyze the development of learning media in improving elementary school students' numeracy skills through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Numeracy skills are an important competency that students must have, but many still have difficulty in understanding basic mathematical concepts. In this study, 25 relevant articles were identified and analyzed, focusing on the effectiveness of various types of learning media, including digital, interactive, and conventional media.The results of the analysis show that digital learning media, such as mobile applications and e-learning platforms, significantly increase students' motivation and learning outcomes. The use of interactive media, such as smart boards and educational games, has also proven effective in improving students' understanding of numeracy concepts. In contrast, conventional media such as workbooks show lower effectiveness.This study emphasizes the importance of innovation in the development of learning media to meet students' learning needs in the digital era. Further efforts are needed to integrate technology and interactive approaches into the basic education curriculum in order to optimally improve students' numeracy skills.

Abstract

Fifth grade elementary school students are still unable to write observation report texts correctly in terms of text structure and title, linguistic rules and text content, so the aim of this research is to describe the skills of writing observation report texts in terms of text structure. and title, linguistic rules, and text content for fifth grade elementary school students. This research was carried out at SDN. 80/1 Km. 3 Muara Bulian from January to May 2024. Research data was collected through assignment techniques to students (as primary data) and sending questionnaires to students. After data collection, the test findings are assessed using a skills assessment instrument to produce an observation report text, which is then summarized and divided into assessment categories. This research uses a qualitative approach and uses a case study design. Participants in this research were VB SDN class students. 80/1 km 3 Muara Bulian. Research findings show that fifth grade elementary school children have adequate writing skills based on observations. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the report text production skills demonstrated by fifth grade elementary school children are sufficient.

Abstract

Value and moral education is an integral part of character development and social readiness, particularly for students in the Elementary School Teacher Education Program (PGSD). However, teaching materials with the right learning approach to foster a deep understanding of these values and develop civic intelligence remain an unmet need. This study aims to develop value and moral education teaching materials based on the Case Method to enhance the civic intelligence of PGSD students at Universitas Bengkulu. The development method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data analysis was conducted through qualitative and quantitative analysis. This research successfully developed value and moral education teaching materials based on the Case Method to support the development of civic intelligence in PGSD students at Universitas Bengkulu. Based on the validation results, the teaching materials achieved an average Aiken’s V score of 90%, indicating that the materials are highly valid, engaging, and practical, thus suitable for use. The implementation of the teaching materials in learning showed active student engagement, an improved understanding of values and morals, and better ability to relate case studies to civic intelligence. Civic intelligence measurements also demonstrated improvements across all indicators, with an average gain score of 0.682, which falls under the moderate category. This reflects the effectiveness of the teaching materials in enhancing students' civic intelligence.
