Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

Every region in Indonesia has traditional games that have become values in daily life as entertainment and local culture. Not only do they offer fun entertainment, but they also have great potential to support science and social learning in elementary schools. This research uses a qualitative approach research method with literature study is an approach to explore in-depth understanding of a phenomenon or issue through the analysis of relevant texts and documents. This article shows that traditional games involved in science and social learning in the classroom can overcome problems in science and social learning. This is due to the positive effects of involving traditional games in student learning in elementary school, in addition to being a fun way to deepen learning and improve learning outcomes, traditional games also train social and physical skills, and also teach cultural values and cooperation which are very beneficial in the development of student character.

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of cards in the domino game on the mathematics learning achievement of grade 2 students in mathematics learning. The study was conducted at SDN Babbalan. The research method used was a quasi-experimental study with a post-test control Group Design research design. Sampling was carried out using the Random Sampling technique. The first research sample consisted of 33 students for the experimental class that applied the domino card game learning media, and the second sample also consisted of 32 students for the control class that applied the conventional learning model. Data analysis in both study groups used the t-test. From the results of the analysis, the results showed that the significance value was 0.043 <0.05. This indicates that the use of modified domino card media affects the mathematics learning achievement of grade 2 students in understanding mathematical symbols.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran ibu dalam pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai Islam di era digital. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan mengikuti teknik Miles dan Huberman, yang mencakup tiga tahapan: kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian peran ibu dalam membangun pendidikan karakter anak berbasis nilai-nilai Islam di era digital sangatlah penting. Pemanfaatan teknologi digital seperti aplikasi edukasi Islami, video pembelajaran interaktif, dan platform digital lainnya terbukti efektif dalam membantu anak memahami ajaran agama, terutama jika penggunaannya dilakukan secara bijak. Strategi seperti pendampingan aktif oleh ibu, pembatasan waktu penggunaan gawai, dan diskusi tentang nilai-nilai Islami setelah mengakses konten digital dapat memperkuat pembelajaran karakter Islami anak. Selain itu, integrasi antara teknologi digital dengan kegiatan langsung, seperti shalat berjamaah, membaca Al-Qur'an, dan berdiskusi, menjadi pendekatan yang optimal untuk membentuk karakter anak yang berakhlak mulia dan siap menghadapi tantangan era digital.

Humans are endowed with various abilities to develop themselves, one of which is cognitive ability that allows individuals to learn and solve problems. Along with the increasingly advanced era, the development of human cognition always experiences changes that become important discussions, especially regarding the factors that influence it. One factor that has a major influence on the development of cognition is the environment. This is in line with the Social Cognitive theory put forward by Albert Bandura, which shows a reciprocal relationship between personal cognition, social environment, and behavior. In addition, the Qur'an as the holy book of Muslims, contains teachings that are also relevant to the Social Cognitive theory, especially in terms of the relationship between humans and the environment and behavioral development. This study aims to interpret QS An-Nisa' verses 69 and 140 through a comparison of the interpretations of Al-Mishbah, Ibn Kathir's Interpretation, and Al-Munir's Interpretation, and to analyze its relevance to Albert Bandura's Social Cognitive theory. The results of the study indicate that the verses describe the importance of a positive environment and its impact on behavior, which is in line with the principles of Social Cognitive theory. This study is expected to provide a deeper understanding of how Islamic teachings, as reflected in the Qur'an, are in line with Social Cognitive theory in shaping good individual behavior and managing environmental influences

The aim of this study is to examine the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in IPAS learning for Phase B in grade IV at SDN Gedugan II. The Merdeka Curriculum provides students with opportunities to engage in various extracurricular learning activities designed to optimally develop their concepts and competencies. Data for this research were collected through in-depth interviews with teachers, classroom observations, and analysis of relevant documents. A descriptive qualitative approach was used to understand the existing conditions and practices within the educational setting of SDN Gedugan II. The findings of the study indicate that most teachers have successfully implemented the Merdeka Curriculum in IPAS learning for Phase B in grade IV, although there are challenges in its implementation that need to be addressed to enhance the quality of learning.

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of students who do not understand spiritual intelligence, it is possible that this will affect students' self-control at MTsN 2 Kota Payakumbuh. This study aims to: (1) find out how the description or description of the spiritual intelligence profile is (2) find out how the description or description of the self-control profile is (3) find out how much influence spiritual intelligence has on self-control. This research is a field research using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 351 students in grade Ⅷ. The sampling used the Stratified Random Sampling technique, so the number of samples was 151 students. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire 4. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the hypothesis is accepted, this means that there is a very significant relationship between spiritual intelligence and self-control of students at MTsN 2 Kota Payakumbuh. From the results of the hypothesis, the Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.252 because the Sig. (2-tailed) value <0.05, meaning that there is a significant relationship between the spiritual intelligence variable and self-control. Then the correlation coefficient number is obtained as much as 0.236, meaning the level of correlation strength or relationship is a sufficient or strong enough relationship. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence between spiritual intelligence and self-control. The hypothesis test value is obtained with a significance value of 0.000 ≤ 0.05. While the t count is known to be 6.778 ≥ 1.655.

Parental participation in children's education is a key factor influencing the quality of education in Indonesia. This study aims to explore the differences in parental involvement between urban schools and schools in disadvantaged areas and its impact on education quality. Using a qualitative research method through a literature review of various journal articles published between 2020 and 2024, this study found that parental participation in urban schools is generally higher than in disadvantaged areas. This is due to better access to information, educational resources, and facilities that support parental involvement. On the other hand, parents in disadvantaged areas face significant challenges, including economic limitations, low levels of education, and poor infrastructure, which hinder their ability to participate in their children's education. These findings suggest that improving the quality of education in disadvantaged areas requires interventions focusing on empowering parents and increasing access to educational information and facilities. This research is expected to provide insights for stakeholders in designing programs that support parental participation, thereby reducing educational inequality in Indonesia.

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of class IV B students at SD N 23 Palembang in the mathematics subject of whole numbers through the teams games tournament (TGT) learning model. The Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model is cooperative learning that involves academic tournaments, and uses quizzes and a scoring system, where students compete to represent their team with members of other teams in academic performance. The research method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II with 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects in this research were class IV B students at SD Negeri 23 Palembang, totaling 23 students consisting of 13 men and 10 women. Data collection in this research used tests with data analysis using the percentage formula. The research results show that the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model can improve mathematics learning outcomes. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects from pre-school by 30%, increasing in cycle I to 57% and increasing in cycle II to 87%. Thus, the application of the Teams Games Tournament model has proven to be effective in improving student learning outcomes in mathematics learning whole number material for class IV SD Negeri 23 Palembang

ocal culture has an important role in shaping community identity and as a means of character education, as reflected in the Tudung Lingkup Tradition in Jambi. This tradition combines religious and social values, showing a symbol of Jambi Malay cultural identity as well as obedience to Islamic teachings. Tudung Lingkup, as part of women's traditional clothing, is used to cover the aurat according to Islamic law, as commanded in the Qur'an. This symbol represents the value of purity, honor, and harmony between custom and religion. In addition, the Tudung Lingkup Tradition teaches social values such as togetherness and solidarity, which are relevant for student character building in elementary schools. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach to comprehensively describe the Tudung Lingkup Tradition. Data collection was done through interviews with traditional leaders, direct observation, and literature study. The results showed that this tradition has existed since before the 1960s and is practiced by women in the Seberang area of Jambi City. The wearing of tudung lingkup, which covers head to toe except the face, reflects a woman's age and marital status and protects them from slander. The Tudung Lingkup tradition has great potential to be integrated in basic education. Through thematic learning and hands-on practice, students can understand cultural and religious values, while instilling a love for local traditions. This effort is important in facing the challenges of globalization that tend to erode local values. By introducing the Tudung Lingkup Tradition in the educational environment, the younger generation is expected to not only preserve cultural heritage, but also build ethical character in accordance with religious and national values.

This research aims to help teachers train students' skills to be able to master good and correct language. The research subjects were 13 class I students at MI Sultan Agung for the 2024/2025 academic year. The data collection techniques used were observation and interviews. The instruments used were interview sheets and reading skills assessment sheets. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. The results of the research showed that using series of image media, the reading skills of class I students at MI Sultan Agung were in the very good category of 8 students or 61%, the good category of 4 students or 31%, the fairly good category of 1 student or 8%, the poor category either 0 students or 0%. The results of observations show that students have been able to master reading skills.
