Abstract

This study aims to develop and implement the Number House learning model to improve subtraction operation skills in first-grade students at SD Binekas Bandung. The implementation procedure was carried out through three meetings focusing on subtraction without regrouping, subtraction with regrouping, and application in word problems. The research method used a descriptive qualitative approach with 25 first-grade Gumujeng students as research subjects. The results showed an increase in conceptual understanding in 85% of students in completing subtraction operations using the Number House model, especially in the second and third meetings. The obstacles faced were difficulties of some students in understanding the place value concept during the regrouping process, but these could be overcome with intensive assistance and the use of more concrete visual media. As a follow-up, it is suggested to develop the Number House learning media in the form of interactive games and apply this method to other arithmetic operations to build a strong mathematical foundation for early grade students. Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive learning media based on PowerPoint with gamification elements and to determine the validity and practicality levels of the developed media. Gamification is implemented through game elements such as challenge levels, points, and game rules designed to enhance students' motivation and engagement in the learning process. This research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Validation was carried out by two experts: a media validator and a material validator. Practicality testing was conducted through a small-group trial involving 6 fourth-grade students and a large-group trial involving 20 fourth-grade students and their homeroom teacher at SDN 1 Tempos. The results showed that the learning media achieved a validity level of 90,6% from the media validator and 92% from the material validator, both categorized as "very valid." The homeroom teacher’s response to the interactive PowerPoint-based learning media reached a percentage of 91,6%. Additionally, the practicality test with students indicated a practicality level of 91,6%, which also falls into the "very practical" category. Therefore, the interactive PowerPoint-based learning media with gamification is considered feasible and effective to be used as a supporting tool in the learning process to increase students’ participation and learning motivation.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi permasalahan yang meunjukkan kemampuan pengenalan kosakata bahasa Inggris anak di Taman Kanak-Kanak Kemala Bhayangkari 3 Padang belum berkembang secara optimal, masih ada anak yang mengalami kesulitan dalam mengenalkan kosakata bahasa Inggris. Dikarenakan pengenalan kosakata bahasa Inggris masih menggunakan media dan metode yang kurang efektif dalam membantu anak menguasai kosakata bahasa Inggris. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran games edukatif berbasis Wordwall terhadap peningkatan pengenalan kosakata bahasa Inggris pada anak usia dini di TK Kemala Bhayangkari 3 Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasy eksperimen (Eksperimen semu). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik di Taman Kanak-Kanak Kemala Bhayangkari 3 Padang berjumlah 85 orang anak, dan sampel sebanyak 30 anak, terdiri dari kelas B1 dan B2 masing-masingnya berjumlah 15 orang anak. Tes lisan adalah metode yang peneliti gunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t, sebelum itu dilakukan uji prasyarat yaitu uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Kemudian data diolah menggunakan aplikasi SPPS 30. Hasil data memperlihatkan dimana rata-rata skor pre-test pada kelas eksperimen adalah 13.27 dan skor post-test sebesar 16.93. Hasil pre-test rata-rata kelas kontrol adalah 12.53 dan skor post test kelas kontrol 14.60. Data yang dihasilkan berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0.003 < 0.05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media wordwall memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pengenalan kosakata bahasa Inggris anak usia dini di Taman Kanak-Kanak Kemala Bhayangkari 3 Padang. Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada strategi pengelolaan emosi guru dalam menghadapi perilaku agresif siswa di kelas, khususnya pada jenjang sekolah dasar. Permasalahan yang dipecahkan adalah bagaimana guru mengaplikasikan kelima indikator pengelolaan emosi menurut Daniel Goleman, yakni kesadaran diri, pengaturan diri, motivasi, empati, dan keterampilan sosial, dalam menghadapi perilaku agresif yang sering terjadi di lingkungan belajar. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode observasi dan wawancara mendalam terhadap tiga orang guru di salah satu sekolah dasar swasta di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Untuk menjaga keabsahan data, digunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru mampu mengenali dan mengelola emosi pribadi melalui strategi seperti melakukan tarik napas, berdiam diri, atau melakukan pendekatan personal kepada siswa. Motivasi intrinsik yang bersumber dari nilai-nilai spiritual, profesional, dan moral menjadi kekuatan utama dalam mengendalikan emosi. Guru juga menunjukkan empati dengan memahami latar belakang siswa dan membangun komunikasi yang suportif dan personal. Keterampilan sosial ditampilkan melalui pendekatan yang fleksibel dan adaptif dalam menjalin hubungan yang positif dengan siswa yang agresif. Sebagai kesimpulan, kelima indikator manajemen emosi berperan penting dalam membantu guru menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif dan mengelola ketahanan emosi di kelas. Disarankan agar pelatihan manajemen emosi dan dukungan kelembagaan terus ditingkatkan untuk memperkuat profesionalisme guru.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep volume dan luas permukaan bangun ruang pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 047174 Kutarayat. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 28 siswa. Model pembelajaran inkuiri diimplementasikan melalui enam sintaks utama: stimulasi, identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan data, pengolahan data, verifikasi, dan generalisasi. Pembelajaran dirancang dengan memanfaatkan benda konkret dan teknologi seperti Augmented Reality (AR) sebagai media pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman konsep matematis, kemampuan berhitung, serta keterampilan komunikasi dan kolaborasi siswa. Keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses penemuan konsep matematis melalui eksplorasi mandiri dan kerja kelompok terbukti efektif dalam membangun pemahaman konseptual yang kokoh. Evaluasi pembelajaran dilakukan melalui asesmen formatif, sumatif, observasi sikap, dan penilaian proyek mini. Simpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri mampu mendorong pembelajaran bermakna, meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, serta mendukung pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis sebagai salah satu dimensi Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Rekomendasi penelitian mencakup integrasi model inkuiri dalam topik matematika lainnya dan pengembangan kemampuan guru dalam merancang pembelajaran berbasis eksplorasi dan penemuan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of pop-up book learning media on the IPAS (science and social studies integration) learning of Grade V students, specifically in the topics of Digestive Organs, Nutrition, and Health and Balanced Eating Patterns, in relation to critical thinking skills. This research is a quantitative study involving a sample of 38 students from classes VA and VB at SDN Kendalpecabean. The results of this study support the hypothesis that the use of pop-up book media can develop critical thinking skills. Based on the pre-test and post-test result, there was a significant increase in students understanding of the material. The pop-up book media, which is visual, interactive, and contextual, has proven effective in helping students build conceptual understanding in a more concert and enjoyable manner. This media not only serves as a visual aid, but also encourages students to actively explore the material, make decisions, and express their opinions independently. This is reflected in the questionnaire results, which showed that the majority of student felt support in independent learning and in thinking more deeply through the use of pop-up books. The learning process became more meaningful as it encouraged student to think critically, engage in discussions, and construct argument based on logical reasoning. Moreover, the very positive student responses (95.16%) indicate that this media is highly effective in creating an engaging and motivating learning experience, ultimately supporting the success of IPAS learning in the elementary school.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) describe the stages of developing Doratoon-based animated video learning media in IPAS class V elementary school subjects; (2) describe the level of validity of the media; and (3) explain the practicality of the media in delivering animal grouping material based on the type of food. The research used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the DDD-E model (Decide, Design, Develop, Evaluate). The research subjects were fifth grade students of SDN 14/I Sungai Baung. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire, with qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that the media development followed the flow of the DDD-E model systematically. The validity of the media is classified as very high based on the assessment of material, language, and media experts, with the average final score reaching 4.64; 4.9; and 4.61, respectively, which is categorized as very valid. The practicality of the media is also evident from the positive responses of teachers and students. Doratoon media is designed to be interesting and interactive, increasing students' interest in learning. The small group trial resulted in an average score of 3.54 and large group 4.4, indicating this media is very practical to use. This media helps students understand the material more effectively and enjoyably although it still needs a little refinement in the visual aspect.

Abstract

Basic education plays an important role in shaping children's character and mindset from an early age. However, the implementation of gender-responsive school principles in many elementary schools still faces various challenges, such as gender stereotypes embedded in learning materials and biased social interactions, as well as limited understanding among teachers and supporting facilities. This study aims to analyze the impact of gender-responsive school interventions on improving equality and inclusivity at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Candi Labschool UMSIDA. The method used is an experimental study with a pretest-posttest one-group design, measuring attitudes, knowledge, and gender-responsive practices before and after the intervention. The primary instruments are questionnaires analyzed quantitatively using descriptive and inferential statistics, as well as qualitative data from interviews and observations analyzed thematically. The results of the study showed significant improvements in various aspects, including formal gender-responsive school policies, budget allocation for learning and extracurricular activities that support gender equality, and the integration of gender values in lesson plans. Additionally, the participation of male and female students became more balanced, and learning materials began to eliminate gender stereotypes. Although accessibility to facilities for persons with disabilities still needs improvement, teachers' awareness and competence on gender and inclusion issues have increased sharply. This training serves as an important foundation for the sustainable development of gender-responsive schools, while also opening opportunities for other schools to adopt similar approaches to achieve inclusive and equitable education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi sejauh mana strategi pembelajaran berbasis permainan tradisional di MIN Kota Bima. Permainan tradisional merupakan bagian dari warisan budaya yang memiliki nilai edukatif tinggi. Banyak permainan tradisional yang mengandung unsur pemecahan masalah, strategi, kerja sama, dan komunikasi, serta memperkuat pemahaman konsep pembelajaran siswa. Masalah yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah kurangnya pemanfaatan kearifan lokal dalam strategi pembelajaran, sehingga pembelajaran cenderung menoton dan kurang kontekstual dengan budaya setempat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan permainan tradisional dalam strategi pembelajaran mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, memperkuat nilai-nilai budaya lokal, dan memperbaiki suasana kelas menjadi lebih aktif dan menyenangkan. Strategi ini juga terbukti efektif dalam menanamkan nilai kerja sama, sportivitas, dan tanggung jawab dalam diri siswa. Dengan demikian, integrasi permainan tradisional dalam mewujudkan pendidikan penjaskes yang dihapuskan pada budaya lokal sekaligus meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Mathematics learning outcomes reflect changes that occur in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects of students after participating in the mathematics learning process, which is influenced by various internal and external factors. One of the internal factors that is thought to play a role in achieving math learning outcomes is self-efficacy. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the influence of self-efficacy on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade V students at SDN 25 Cakranegara in the 2024/2025 school year. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The research subjects consisted of 22 fifth grade students of SDN 25 Cakranegara. Data collection was done through a self-efficacy questionnaire and a math learning outcomes test. Data analysis used regression techniques as a form of inferential analysis. The results showed that there was a significant influence between self-efficacy on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN 25 Cakranegara with the acquisition of t_hitung 5.279 > 2.086 t_table. Self-efficacy contributes 58.2% to math learning outcomes, which is classified in the moderate category. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that H_0 is rejected and H_a is accepted, which means that there is an influence between self-efficacy on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN 25 Cakranegara in the 2024/2025 school year.
