Abstract

This study aims to explore strategies to improve self-love among adolescents who experience low self-confidence due to acne, focusing on the case of Putri Nur Intan in Kp. Badamusalam, Sawahluhur Village, Kasemen District, Serang City, Banten. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method through observation and interviews with the subject, her parents, and a guidance counselor. Results show that the application of positive affirmations, parental understanding, and peer support significantly increased self-love and confidence. This study contributes practical insights for school counselors and parents in addressing appearance-based psychological issues in adolescents.

Abstract

Isu kesetaraan gender dan peran perempuan dalam masyarakat kontemporer terus menjadi perdebatan, khususnya dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi dan modernitas. Dalam konteks ini, pemikiran Murthada Muthahari, seorang intelektual Muslim kontemporer, menawarkan pendekatan yang menyeimbangkan antara kodrat biologis dan nilai kesetaraan manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pemikiran Muthahari mengenai perempuan dan kesetaraan gender, serta menilai relevansinya terhadap tantangan yang dihadapi perempuan di era kontemporer. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis dan interpretasi filosofis terhadap karya-karya utama Muthahari sebagai literature primer, serta karya-karya dari jurnal, buku dan karya ilmiah lainnya sebagai literature sekunder yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukan bahwa Muthahari mengusung konsep “setara tetapi berbeda”, yaitu kesetaraan dalam nilai kemanusiaan, namun tetap mengakui perbedaan kodrati sebagai dasar keadilan. Pemikirannya menolak subordinasi perempuan sekaligus mengkritik feminisme liberal yang mengabaikan fitrah gender. Dalam pembahasan, konsep Muthahari dipandang mampu menjembatani antara nilai-nilai Islam dengan tuntutan kesetaraan gender kontemporer secara adil, rasional, dan tidak ekstrem. Dengan demikian, kontribusi pemikiran Muthahari dapat dijadikan dasar atas dalam merumuskan relasi gender yang berkeadilan di tengah perubahan sosial global.

Abstract

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah rendahnya antusiasme siswa dalam mengikuti pelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar serta keterbatasan sarana pembelajaran yang mengombinasikan teknologi modern dengan nilai-nilai budaya lokal. Tujuan utama dari riset ini yaitu merancang sebuah media pembelajaran berbasis Nearpod yang mengangkat kearifan lokal Palembang untuk mendukung peningkatan mutu pembelajaran IPAS pada siswa kelas V SD. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan ADDIE yang terdiri atas lima tahap: analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, penerapan, dan penilaian. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dari pakar materi dan pakar media, media yang dikembangkan dinilai layak digunakan dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 92,5%. Hasil uji coba terbatas pada peserta didik menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dalam capaian belajar dan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan media tersebut. Dari hasil pengolahan data, diperoleh tingkat validitas sebesar 88,8%, tingkat kepraktisan 88,5%, dan rata-rata efektivitas sebesar 76,9%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Nearpod yang memuat konten budaya lokal Palembang ini efektif serta menarik untuk meningkatkan semangat dan hasil belajar siswa. Abstract

In this increasingly complex modern era, the development of santri character has become one of the main focuses in education. This journal presents a discussion on the integration of quantum physics into santri character building in the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Although quantum physics is typically viewed as a scientific discipline separate from religious teachings, this study demonstrates that quantum physics can offer valuable new insights into understanding the spiritual and moral dimensions of life. The methods employed in this research include a qualitative approach and literature analysis that bridges scientific concepts with the values of Islamic Religious Education (IRE). The research findings reveal that integrating quantum physics into the PAI curriculum not only broadens students' thinking but also encourages the application of ethics and moral values in daily life. These findings emphasize that science and spirituality should not be viewed as two conflicting entities, but rather as complementary elements that contribute to the development of intelligent and wise individuals. Thus, the integration of quantum physics into PAI education can train students to think critically, creatively, and prioritize their moral responsibilities, fostering a holistic character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan penguasaan materi gelombang menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 85 Maluku Tengah yang berjumlah 20 orang. Data tes kemampuan awal peserta didik sangat rendah dengan skor rata-rata yang diperoleh adalah sebesar 25,85 yang berada pada kualifikasi gagal. Setelah diberi perlakuan berupa diterapkannya model inkuiri terbimbing, hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat. Hal ini terlihat pada data kualifikasi kemampuan kognitif peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran dalam dua kali pertemuan dengan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh adalah 85,16 yang berada pada kualifikasi baik. Rata-rata skor tes akhir yang dicapai peserta didik adalah 88,96 dengan kualifikasi baik. Sementara nilai rata-rata hasil uji N-Gain adalah 0,85 yang berada pada kualifikasi tinggi. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan penguasaan materi Gelombang pada peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 85 Maluku Tengah.

Abstract

The low critical thinking ability of students poses a challenge in solving everyday life problems. This issue should ideally be addressed, considering that critical thinking is a crucial part of 21st-century skills that students must possess. This research aims to determine the effect of the experimental method on critical thinking skills in IPAS (Science and Social Studies). The type of research used is quasi-experimental with a quantitative approach. The research design is a two-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study consists of all fourth-grade students, totaling 49 students, while the sample is divided into two groups: 25 students in the experimental class and 24 students in the control class. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Data collection techniques include tests, observation, and documentation. The research instruments used are essay test sheets, observation sheets, and checklist sheets. The data analysis technique employed is inferential statistics using the independent sample t-test and normalized N-gain test. The findings based on the independent sample t test that has been carried out obtained a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.034 < α = 0.05 then H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means that the use of experimental methods affects the critical thinking skills of IPAS. Furthermore, the normalised N-gain test in the experimental class obtained a value of 0.39, which means that there was an increase in the critical thinking ability of IPAS with a moderate category, while the control class obtained a value of 0.18, which means that there was an increase in the critical thinking ability of IPAS with a low category.

Abstract

The development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), particularly in the transformation of Islamic religious education through the social media platform Instagram, has brought significant changes in the way religious information is delivered and received. Instagram has seen growth in various sectors, including education. It also offers new opportunities in Islamic Religious Education (PAI), especially in enhancing accessibility to learning materials and facilitating interaction between teachers and students. However, the use of Instagram also presents challenges, such as the spread of misinformation or hoaxes. This study aims to analyze how Instagram is used as a tool for Islamic religious education and its impact on users’ understanding and religious practices. The research method employs a qualitative approach through content analysis and in-depth interviews.

Abstract

This study focuses on elementary school teachers’ perceptions of the use of interactive storytelling methods assisted by Canva media and its implications for the listening skills instruction of elementary school students. The purpose of this study is to understand elementary school teachers’ perceptions of the use of interactive storytelling methods assisted by Canva media and their implications for teaching listening skills in elementary education. This research employs a quantitative approach used a survey method, with questionnaires as the primary data collection tool. The populations in this study consists of 132 elementary school teachers, with a sample of 100 teachers. Based on the results, it is concluded that for positively stated items, teachers strongly agreed at 50% and agreed at 50%. Meanwhile, for negatively stated items, 97% of teachers disagreed with the statements regarding the use of interactive storytelling methods assisted by Canva media and its implications for teaching listening skills to elementary students.

Abstract

Studies (IPAS) based on field observations. The aim of this study is to describe the improvement in student learning outcomes in IPAS instruction using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model supported by Canva media in the fourth grade at SDN 01 2X11 Enam Lingkung, Padang Pariaman District. The results of this research indicate that, in the first cycle, the average score for the teaching module observation aspect was 85%, classified as Good (B), which improved to 95.8% in the second cycle, classified as Very Good (SB). Secondly, in the implementation of the teaching aspect by educators, the average score in the first cycle was 81%, classified as Good (B), which increased to 94.4% in the second cycle, classified as Very Good (SB). Thirdly, regarding student performance, the average score in the first cycle was 78%, classified as Satisfactory (C), which improved to 91.6% in the second cycle, classified as Very Good (SB). Finally, the average student learning outcomes in the first cycle were 76.45, classified as Satisfactory (C), which increased to 89.9 in the second cycle, classified as Good (B). In conclusion, the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model supported by Canva media effectively enhances student learning outcomes in IPAS instruction in the fourth grade at SDN 01 2X11 Enam Lingkung, Padang Pariaman District

Abstract

The teaching of the Indonesian language in elementary schools encompasses four main skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. In the Kurikulum Merdeka, writing folk stories is a key focus to enhance students' cultural understanding and language structure. However, many students struggle with word formation and effective sentence construction. This study analyzes word formation in the folk story writing skills of fifth-grade students in class V B at SDN Pegadungan 08 Petang. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with content analysis, interviews, observations, and documentation techniques. The objective is to understand students' word formation skills and teachers' instructional strategies in folk story writing. The findings indicate that students actively use affixation, particularly prefixes, suffixes, and confixes, to enrich their vocabulary and improve narrative quality. This process plays a crucial role in creating clear, varied, and storyline-relevant sentences. However, errors in applying prefixes and confixes were still observed. Therefore, more in-depth instruction on word formation rules is necessary to ensure students can use them correctly and effectively.
