Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

Rendahnya efektivitas program pendidikan dasar di Indonesia mencerminkan lemahnya sistem evaluasi yang digunakan, yang cenderung tidak berorientasi pada pencapaian hasil. Artikel ini mengkaji relevansi dan penerapan model Goal-Oriented Evaluation (GOE) dalam mengevaluasi program pendidikan dasar. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka, penelitian ini menelaah literatur terkait evaluasi berbasis tujuan dan praktiknya di sekolah dasar Islam terpadu. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa GOE, melalui lima komponen utamanya—perumusan tujuan SMART, indikator kinerja, teknik pengumpulan data, analisis capaian, dan tindak lanjut—efektif dalam menilai dan meningkatkan mutu program pendidikan. Model ini juga terbukti mendukung akuntabilitas dan pengambilan keputusan berbasis data di tingkat satuan pendidikan. Kajian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis terhadap pengembangan sistem evaluasi berbasis hasil dan merekomendasikan pengujian lapangan sebagai tindak lanjut penelitian.

Program evaluation is an important aspect in the world of education to assess the effectiveness and relevance of a program in achieving the desired goals. One of the evaluation models that is often used is the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model, which assesses not only the final results but also various aspects of its implementation. This model offers a systematic approach that allows data-based decision making to improve the quality of programs in the future. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach and is analyzed using the CIPP model. Data were collected through observation and documentation as well as from various sources such as books, journals, and digital media, then analyzed systematically to obtain complete information. The results of the study show that the CIPP model has the advantage of providing a comprehensive evaluation, covering aspects of context, input, process, and product. This model can help identify supporting and inhibiting factors of a program and provide solutions for future improvements. However, the application of this model also has weaknesses, such as the need for large resources and the tendency to focus more on the needs of decision makers than on conditions in the field. Therefore, careful consideration is needed in applying the CIPP model so that program evaluation can run effectively and efficiently.

Artikel ini membahas mengenai seberapa efektif layanan Bus Trans Jatim sebagai sarana transportasi umum di Kabupaten Bangkalan, dengan menekankan pengalaman dan pandangan pengguna sehari-hari. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif yang meliputi pengumpulan data lewat wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan dokumentasi untuk memahami secara menyeluruh berbagai aspek layanan seperti kenyamanan, keamanan, ketepatan waktu, dan aksesibilitas. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Bus Trans Jatim memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan mobilitas masyarakat Bangkalan, terutama dalam menghubungkan daerah dengan pusat ekonomi dan pemerintahan di Surabaya. Meski demikian, ada beberapa masalah seperti fasilitas yang masih kurang memadai, kurangnya sosialisasi mengenai layanan ini, dan lokasi halte yang belum ideal, yang berdampak pada tingkat kepuasan dan frekuensi penggunaan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan fasilitas pendukung, perbaikan dalam sosialisasi, serta penguatan integrasi layanan untuk menambah efektivitas dan daya tarik Bus Trans Jatim sebagai pilihan transportasi publik yang layak, nyaman, aman, dan terjangkau di Kabupaten Bangkalan.

Education in Indonesia requires teachers to innovate in designing effective learning by utilizing Information and Communication Technology (ICT). This study examines the motivation of two driving teachers in utilizing Information and Communication Technology in designing learning devices at SD Negeri 001/IV, Jambi City. With a qualitative approach, data were collected through staged interviews for time triangulation and document analysis of teaching modules that had been designed by the driving teachers. Motivational factors are categorized into intrinsic and extrinsic aspects, which are adapted from Maslow and McClelland's theories. The results of the study revealed differences in motivational factors between the two driving teachers. The first driving teacher was first motivated by intrinsic factors before being influenced by extrinsic factors, while the second driving teacher was first driven by extrinsic factors before then having intrinsic motivation that developed over time. This study confirms that the use of ICT in designing learning devices is influenced by various motivational factors that encourage teachers to innovate in teaching so that it is more student-centered.

ABSTRACT Mathematics education in elementary schools has a very important role in forming the basis of students' understanding of more complex mathematical concepts at the next level of education. One of the materials taught in grade IV is flat shapes, which includes calculating area and circumference. Many students already know the formula but have not been able to solve the problems faced. This can be seen from the results of previous student learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the ability of grade IV students of SDN Pati Kidul 03 Pati in determining the circumference and area of flat shapes by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by geoboard media. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design, namely the one-group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was all grade IV students of SDN Pati Kidul 03 Pati in the 2024/2025 academic year, with a sample of 30 students selected using saturated sampling techniques. The results showed significant improvements in students' understanding of flat shapes, with an average pre-test score of 47 and an average post-test score of 80. The results of the paired t-test confirmed the effectiveness of using geoboard teaching aids, with a t-value of 37.946 > 1.699. The use of geoboard teaching aids can be an alternative media to improve students' understanding of flat shapes, for active and enjoyable learning.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan disiplin kerja terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan di PT. PLN (Persero) ULTG Palopo. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan explanatory dan deskriptif, dengan populasi berjumlah 50 karyawan, yang sekaligus menjadi sampel melalui teknik sensus. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner berbasis Google Form dengan variabel penelitian meliputi lingkungan kerja dan disiplin kerja sebagai variabel independen, serta prestasi kerja sebagai variabel dependen. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan uji t (parsial) dan uji F (simultan) untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, lingkungan kerja dan disiplin kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan. Secara simultan, kedua variabel independen tersebut juga memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan.

Critical thinking skills are one of the essential competencies that students need to master in science education. The low level of critical thinking skills among elementary school students is the primary reason for conducting this research. This study aims to: 1) Determine the effect of implementing the Discovery Learning model supported by PhET Simulation media in enhancing the critical thinking skills of elementary school students; 2) Assess whether the improvement in critical thinking skills of students using the Discovery Learning model with PhET Simulation media is better compared to those receiving scientific learning. The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group, involving 54 students on the topic of electrical energy. The instrument used to collect data before and after the learning process is a critical thinking skills test. The results of the study indicate that: 1) There is an effect of learning using the Discovery Learning model supported by PhET Simulation media on students' critical thinking skills; 2) The improvement in critical thinking skills of students who participated in the Discovery Learning model is better than that of students who received scientific learning. Since this research focuses on critical thinking skills in the aspect of competence, it is recommended for future studies to explore critical thinking skills in other aspects, such as knowledge. The utilization of information technology in early childhood education has become a pivotal factor in enhancing the quality of learning. This study examines the implementation of information technology and its impact on teaching methods in Rahmania Islamic Kindergarten, student engagement, and learning outcomes. By employing a qualitative research approach, including interviews, observations, and document analysis, this study identifies how digital tools, educational applications, and interactive media contribute to a more dynamic and effective learning environment. The results of the research show that the use of information technology at Rahmania Islamic Kindergarten Serang City has been implemented. With indications that, in planning the learning process, appropriate learning approach strategies for early childhood, learning content that is in accordance with the curriculum, and assessments to improve the quality of learning have been implemented using information technology infrastructure, However, challenges such as some teachers have not fully mastered the use of information technology, infrastructure limitations, and adaptation barriers must be addressed to maximize the benefits of technology in early childhood education. This research provides insights into best practices for implementing information technology in kindergarten to ensure meaningful and sustainable educational improvements.

Augmented Reality (AR) is a technological advancement that can be utilized as an interactive learning medium by visualizing objects in three dimensions to enhance material comprehension. This study aims to identify methods, AR design software, and various applications of AR as different media. Using the PRISMA method, 28 selected articles were analyzed. The findings indicate that Marker-based Tracking is the dominant method compared to Markerless Tracking. The most commonly used AR design software is Unity, often combined with Vuforia. In terms of AR applications, the highest usage is found in the field of science, followed by several other fields. This study demonstrates that AR has great potential if continuously developed and can be utilized across various fields, not just in education.

Poetry writing is a key skill in Indonesian language learning that fosters students' imagination and expressive abilities. However, initial observations in Grade IV of SDN Demangan 1 revealed that students had difficulties in understanding poetic elements such as theme, rhyme, diction, and stanza structure. This study aims to improve students' poetry writing skills through the implementation of a creative pedagogy approach based on Project Based Learning (PjBL). The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles with 33 students as subjects. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and written tests, while data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed a significant improvement in students' poetry writing abilities. The average class score increased from 70.75 in Cycle I to 83.3 in Cycle II, and the number of students achieving mastery rose from 19 to 27. Notable progress was also observed in aspects such as poetic structure and diction. These findings indicate that a creative pedagogy approach based on PjBL is effective in enhancing elementary students' poetry writing skills.
