Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This research discusses the learning challenges of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in the digital era, with a focus on improving teacher competence, material relevance, and students' readiness to face technological developments. The research method used is library research with content analysis and a hermeneutic approach to understand the contextual meaning of various sources. The results of the study show that digitalization brings significant changes in the PAI learning process, starting from a paradigm that shifts from conventional methods to technology-based learning, to the use of digital media to support the teaching and learning process. However, there are challenges such as low digital literacy, technology access gaps, potential internet abuse, and the need for innovation in the preparation of teaching materials to remain relevant and effective. This research emphasizes the importance of strengthening teacher competence, developing digital learning materials, and improving students' digital literacy to ensure that PAI learning is still able to shape the character and spiritual values of the younger generation in the midst of changing times.

This study aims to analyze the transformative values of prayer based on QS. Al-Mu'minun verses 1-2, which emphasize the importance of solemnity in the practice of worship. Prayer, as a fundamental pillar of Islam, serves not only as a ritual obligation, but also as a means to achieve spiritual and moral peace. In the modern context and the challenges of the digital era, this research explores how solemnity in prayer can shape the character and social interactions of Muslims. Using a literature study approach, this research collects and analyzes various sources to understand the impact of prayer on the formation of positive attitudes such as patience, honesty, and caring, which contribute to the creation of harmony in society. The results of the study show that the solemnity of prayer plays an important role in the formation of such positive attitudes, which are essential in facing contemporary social challenges. Amidst the challenges of the digital age that often distract from spiritual values, the practice of prayer faces various distractions that can reduce the quality of worship. Hence, innovative solutions such as prayer reminder apps and the establishment of supportive communities are essential for enhancing solemnity. The study concludes that prayer has significant transformative values that can be implemented in social life, and emphasizes the need to utilize technology wisely to strengthen the practice of worship and its relevance in the modern context. By understanding these values, it is hoped that Muslims will be able to better appreciate prayer in a modern context, thereby addressing contemporary social challenges and strengthening relationships between individuals in society.

This study aims to determine, analyze, and identify the influence of audio-visual media on basic short serve skills in badminton instruction at SMP Negeri 2 Telukjambe Barat. The study employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental design with a One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The population in this study consisted of 337 eighth-grade students, with a sample of 41 students selected using cluster random sampling. The instrument used was a short serve skill test in badminton. The results of this study showed significant results, as evidenced by the pretest average score of 50.80, which increased to 68.37 after the treatment and posttest. Additionally, the results of the paired sample t-test calculation yielded a significance value of 0.000 (sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05), indicating a significant effect on short serve skills between the pretest and posttest data. This means that there is a significant effect from the treatment that was administered. This effect is demonstrated by the increased influence of audio-visual media on basic short serve skills in badminton learning activities for eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Telukjambe Barat.

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of Phase E1 students in sociology at SMAN 1, Kapur IX District. The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes through the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) model.The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) as formulated . The theory used in this study is Cognitivism. The data from this study consisted of information about actions obtained from interviews, observations, observations of teacher activities, observations of student activities, and pre- and post-tests of student learning outcomes.The results of the cycle 1 research obtained an average student score of 68.71 with 7 students (21.87%) completing the course and 25 students (78.12%) not completing it. In cycle 2, the average student score was 81.34 with 23 students (71.87%) completing the course and 28.12% not completing the course. In cycle 3, the average student score was 91.40 with 31 students (96.87%) completing the course and 1 student (3.12%) not completing the course. This means that in cycle 3 this research has been achieved. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the application of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) model in sociology learning can improve student learning outcomes, namely from 21.87% in cycle 1 increasing to 71.87% in cycle 2, and increasing again to 96.87% in cycle 3.

This study aims to describe the urgency of library management in increasing students' reading interest at SDN Malaka Sari 03, East Jakarta. The background of this study is the low literacy culture in Indonesia, one of which can be addressed through optimizing the role of school libraries. The method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that library management at SDN Malaka Sari 03 has been running well through effective planning, organization, implementation, and supervision. The strategies implemented include scheduling library visits, routine literacy activities, providing relevant book collections, and utilizing technology through the procurement of digital books. In addition, collaboration between librarians, teachers, and students also contributes to creating a comfortable and supportive library atmosphere. However, challenges remain, such as limited library collections and the need to improve infrastructure. In general, good library management has been proven to increase students' reading interest and strengthen literacy culture in elementary schools.

The research problem is the low problem-solving ability and collaboration skills of students, caused by abstract and passive learning methods, as well as the lack of varied learning models. The study aims to address this issue using the SABUMI model. The objectives are to describe and analyze improvements in problem-solving skills, and collaboration abilities. This research employs Classroom Action Research (CAR) with 10 fifth-grade students from SDN Terantang 2, Barito Kuala Regency, using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results showed that problem-solving ability increased from 60% with the criteria of "quite skilled" to 90% with the criteria of "very skilled". Cooperation skills also increased from 30% with the criteria of "quite skilled" to 90% with the criteria of "very skilled". The findings conclude that the SABUMI model effectively enhances students' problem-solving abilities and collaboration skills in learning Simple Equations. Therefore, it is recommended as an alternative teaching approach for this topic.

Low student learning outcomes in science and science subjects are one of the problems faced in Class III B SDN Siwalankerto II Surabaya, this is due to the lack of variety of learning media used by several teachers. Based on the problems above, teachers need to vary the learning media. There are many learning media that can be used by teachers, for example snakes and ladders, smart boards, flashcards, song media. With this, researchers want to apply song video and animation media which aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes in science subjects. The research method used is quantitative with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample for this research was determined from the results of simple random sampling, namely Class III B students, totaling 27 students. Data collection was carried out through observations of learning implementation, learning outcomes tests (pretest and posttest), as well as questionnaires to determine student responses to animated song video media. The learning was carried out in 2 meetings with the results: (1) The results of observations of the implementation of the learning showed that the first meeting was 100% implemented and the second meeting was 100% implemented; (2) Student learning outcomes increased significantly with an average N-Gain score of 0.7258; (3) Student responses to song video and animation media are in the very high category. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of song video and animation media can improve student learning outcomes in science subjects.

This study aims to determine the use of ethnomatics-based learning media on the learning motivation of elementary school students (South Sulawesi cultural context). This study is an experimental study using a quantitative approach. This study took place at the UPT SPF SD Inpres Perumnas Antang III. The population of this study were students randomly selected in classes IV A, IV B, and IV C with sampling using simple random sampling. The sample in this study was 29 students of class IV B consisting of 11 boys and 18 girls. The research instruments used were observation sheets, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis with the help of the SPSS computer program. The results of this study indicate that the ability of teachers in using ethnomatics-based learning media in student learning obtained an average score of 3.5 which was carried out very well. The learning motivation of fourth-grade students from the results of the prerequisite test consisting of the normality test Pretest 0.295 and Posttest 0.312, the results of the homogeneity test 0.095, and the hypothesis test 0.000. So the results of this study show that the use of ethnomatics-based learning media has an effect on students' learning motivation.

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of academic procrastination, which is still widely practiced by seventh grade students at SMPN 1 Ranah Batahan, such as postponing assignments, not doing homework, and submitting assignments late. The objectives of this study were to determine (1) the level of academic procrastination among students, (2) their learning outcomes, and (3) the effect of academic procrastination on learning outcomes. This study used a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression method. The population and sample in this study were 50 students (total sampling). The instrument used was a questionnaire, and the data were analyzed using percentages and simple linear regression. The results showed that (1) academic procrastination was in the high category, (2) learning outcomes (second-semester math test scores) were in the low category, and (3) there was a significant effect of academic procrastination on learning outcomes of 29.7%. This means that the higher the academic procrastination, the lower the learning outcomes. These findings provide an important basis for schools in designing strategies to reduce procrastination to improve learning outcomes. Keywords: Academic procrastination, learning outcomes, students

This study aims to examine the principal's leadership role in improving teacher professionalism at SDN Medan Satria 1 Bekasi City. The main problem in this study is that there are still teachers who are not optimal in carrying out their professional duties and responsibilities. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using triangulation of sources and techniques. The results showed that principals have important roles as instructional leaders, supervisors, educators, and human resource managers. Communicative, open and supportive leadership has a positive impact on improving the quality of work, initiative and professional ability of teachers. Principals' support for teachers' innovation and self-development also encourages the creation of a productive and reflective work culture. This finding confirms that the success of improving teachers' professionalism is strongly influenced by the adaptive, participatory and visionary leadership style of principals.
