Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan rasa percaya diri dan hasil belajar siswa kelas V UPTD SDN 3 Tenajar melalui metode Role Playing. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi pada ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang belum maksimal yaitu 40%. Dari 26 siswa sebanyak 15 siswa yang dibawah KKM. Dikarenakan proses pembelajaran yang masih menggunakan metode konvensional yaitu ceramah dan latihan soal. Salah satu yang dilakukan yaitu pembaharuan metode pembelajaran yang mampu menempatkan siswa lebih aktif saat pembelajaran, salah satunya melalui metode Role Playing. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan III siklus menggunakan model desain menurut Kemmis dan McTaggart yang terdiri dari empat langkah yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Penelitian ini diterapkan pada siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Hasil percaya diri siswa selama proses pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I, siklus II dan siklus III. Persentase siklus I yaitu 58% kategori sedang persentase siklus II yaitu 73% kategori tinggi, dan persentase siklus III yaitu 83% kategori sangat tinggi. Hasil belajar siswa yang diperoleh selama proses pelaksanaan tindakan mengalami peningkatan. Bisa dilihat dari hasil siklus I, siklus II, dan siklus III siswa memenuhi ketuntasan belajar dan meningkat pada tiap siklus dari 15 siswa dengan persentase 58% terdapat kenaikan menjadi 21 siswa dengan persentase 81% kemudian meningkat menjadi 24 siswa dengan persentase 92%. Penelitian ini menunjukkan sudah mencapai indikator keberhasilan yaitu 80%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa metode Role Playing dapat meningkatkan percaya diri dan hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether the use of digital media in the form of E-stories affects the reading aloud skills of fifth-grade students at Immanuel 2 Elementary School. The research employed a quantitative method using a pre-experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test. The sample consisted of 35 fifth-grade students. The instruments used in this study was reading aloud test. During the treatment, students participated in two scaffolded E-story sessions involving digital storytelling, guided reading, and group practice using selected sentences containing target keywords. The data analysis revealed a t-value of 28.25 and an effect size of 0.087 for the effectiveness test, indicating a very strong effect. indicating a significant difference between students’ reading performance before and after the treatment. It can be concluded that the use of E-story is effective for students’ reading aloud. Therefore, E-stories can serve as an effective alternative to enhance reading aloud elementary school students.

Abstract

Globalisation and cross-border mobility pose challenges to immigration oversight, particularly related to the misuse of travel documents by impostors. Visual-based identity verification through facial matching is a crucial method for ensuring document authenticity. This study aims to examine the application of facial image comparison as a supporting instrument in detecting impostors at Immigration Checkpoints (TPI). The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through literature review, document analysis, and visual observation of facial images. The study focused on six main elements: ears, eyes, nose, lips, face and chin shape, and facial markings. The results show that each individual's visual characteristics are unique and therefore can be effective indicators in distinguishing legitimate document holders from impostors. Case studies demonstrate that variations in facial morphology can be used to detect individual differences and similarities, whether due to genetic factors or changes in appearance. This study also emphasises the need to integrate automated systems such as Autogate with the manual observation capabilities of immigration officers to anticipate technical challenges. Thus, the application of facial image comparison is expected to improve the accuracy of identity verification, strengthen immigration oversight, and maintain national security.

Abstract

This research is based on the lack of use of learning media during the learning process carried out by teachers, so that students become bored and lack understanding of the material being taught. The purpose of this research is to develop a Baruang Card (Learning to Build Space) media product based on a scientific approach for learning mathematics of building space materials in grade V of elementary school. The Baruang Card Media will be tested for validity by media experts and maternal experts along with seeing the attractiveness of students This research uses the Research and Development research method of the Borg and Gall development research model with nine steps starting from Research and Information. Collecting. Planning, Develop Preliminary form of Product. Preliminary Field Testing. Operational Field Testing. Operational Product Revision, Main Field Testing, Main Product Revision, and Final Product Revision. This research was conducted at SDN Karundang 1 with the research subject in class V with 16 students in a limited trial and 28 students in a trial use. The results of the study show that the Baruang Card media has been successfully developed and has met the valid criteria of learning media experts, mathematics subject matter experts and teachers with percentages of 97%, 93.33% and 99.6% respectively. Furthermore, the results of the trial of the attractiveness of the Baruang Card media to students also showed that the media produced was attractive by obtaining a percentage of 93.5%. learning media, scientific approach, mathematics building space

EFFECTIVENESS OF GROUP COUNSELING SERVICES USING COGNITIVE RESTRUCTURING TECHNIQUES IN IMPROVING SELF-CONFIDENCE IN EIGHTH GRADE STUDENTS AT SMP NEGERI 3 KLATEN IN THE 2024/2025 ACADEMIC YEAR. Self-confidence is an important aspect of student development. Cognitive restructuring emphasizes changing negative thought patterns into positive ones.The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of group counseling services using cognitive restructuring techniques in improving self-confidence among eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Klaten in the 2024/2025 academic year.The research method used an experimental approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects consisted of 7 students selected using purposive sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire that measured the level of students' self-confidence behavior before and after group counseling. Data obtained from analysis using the Wilcoxon test showed that there was an increase in the average score from 83.00 on the pretest to 91.57 on the posttest with a significance value of 0.018 < 0.05, so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. It can be concluded that there was a significant difference between before and after the treatment, which means that group counseling using the Cognitive Restructuring technique was able to increase the self-confidence of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Klaten in the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

The problems raised in this study focus on the low critical thinking and communication skills of students. This condition is caused by a learning approach that tends to be one way, lack of active participation from students during the learning process, and students' inability to solve high level thinking (HOTS) questions. To answer these problems, the PROTIGI learning model is applied a combination of Problem Based Learning, Tim Games Tournament, and Group Investigation with the support of Froggy Jumps learning media. The objective of this research is to evaluate the enhancement of students' critical thinking and communication abilities following the application of specific instructional models and media. The study adopts the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach. The results of the study showed a significant increase: students' critical thinking skills increased from 34% (less skilled category) to 91% (very skilled category) from the first to the fourth meeting. A similar increase also occurred in the aspect of student communication, namely from 43% to 87% in the same period. The findings suggest that applying the PROTIGI instructional model, in conjunction with Froggy Jumps media, proves to be an effective approach for enhancing students' critical thinking and communication abilities during the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis mata pelajaran IPS di SDN Grogol Utara 03 Pagi Jakarta Selatan tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kelas 5 sebanyak 40 siswa. Dengan sampel untuk kelas eksperimen sebanyak 20 siswa dan sampel kelas kontrol sebanyak 20 siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain faktorial 2x2. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik pemberian tes hasil belajar IPS dan angket motivasi belajar siswa. Analisis terdiri dari pengujian instrumen selanjutnya dilakukan uji prasyarat analisis dengan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Pengujian hipotesis dengan uji ANOVA ada dua arah dan uji Tukey. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis dan analisis data, disimpulkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis mata pelajaran IPS (2) terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi dan rendah (3) adanya pengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis mata pelajaran IPS. Secara umum, disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Make a Match dan Picture and Picture berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis mata pelajaran IPS siswa

Abstract

This research was conducted at Makale Christian Junior High School. The purpose of this study is to describe the needs of interactive learning multimedia development, interactive multimedia development design, and the validity and practicality of interactive learning multimedia. This research uses the research method (Resarch and Development). The results of the problem findings found that the use of learning media is still not optimized while facilities such as internet connections are sufficient. The results of this study are (1). The form of presentation of material in multimedia is designed to be tailored to the learning objectives, (2) the design of interactive learning multimedia development in the form of geogle slide presentations in which there are interactive elements such as learning videos and interactive quizzes. (3) This interactive learning multimedia is included in the "valid" category with a percentage value of 68.23% from media experts, and 88% in the "very valid" category in the assessment of material experts and integrated interactive learning multimedia evaluation is included in the category of "very practical" based on the teacher's practicality assessment of 80%, and the practicality assessment by students 92.69%, so that this integrated interactive multimedia defense evaluation is declared very practical to use in Learning.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 1 Sijunjung is a vocational high school in Sijunjung Regency, West Sumatra Province. However, student grade processing is still done manually, resulting in a lack of efficiency in the current web-based student grade processing system. A suboptimal processing system can result in slow processing, input errors, and difficulties in accessing student grade information in real time. Furthermore, the current system may also lack interactivity and be difficult for all parties to access. The methodology used is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the waterfall model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, implementation, research, and development. Class data, subject data, student data, grade reports, and user data are all functions within this system. Alpha and beta testing of this information system were conducted. The results of the alpha testing indicated that the system functioned well and was valid. Beta testing results showed that expert validation (system experts) achieved an average score of 81.82%, with a very good rating, and user validation achieved an average score of 86.36%, with a very good rating. Therefore, it can be concluded that the web-based student grade processing system is suitable for use. Based on the research results, this information system can improve the efficiency and accuracy of grade management, as well as increase transparency through features that allow reports to be viewed by users and teachers. It is hoped that this web-based student grade processing system will be usable and facilitate teacher and user processing of student grades at SMK Negeri 1 Sijunjung.

Abstract

Developing critical thinking considered as an important goal of education. Critical thinking skills could help students to overcome the problems faced by students. This research aimed at developing a problem-based learning model integrated with Quizizz media to improve students' learning interest and critical thinking skills. This study applied the Research & Development (R&D) technique and the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. The resulting product is a problem-based learning model design integrated with Quizizz, a teaching module, and Quizizz media. The design was validated by validators. The validation results of the development that related to content are assessed from nine aspects having an average value of 88.84%, with the category very valid or used without improvement. The validation results in terms of model constructs have an average value of 87.21% with the criteria very valid or used without improvement. The practicality test of the learning model was carried out by implementation observations, it had average value of 93.75% with the category of very practical or used without improvement. The Effectiveness Test using the Mann-Whitney test obtained an Asymp Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.020<0.05 and U count 8<U table 10. It showed that there was significance difference between the increase in students' critical thinking abilities with impulsive and reflective cognitive styles. The results of the survey showed that the responses of students with an impulsive cognitive style to learning model activities were 84.67% and the responses of students with a reflective cognitive style were 91.49%. it can be concluded that the problem-based learning model integrated with Quizizz media can improve students' learning interest and critical thinking skills.
