Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Role Playing terhadap keaktifan siswa dalam mata pelajaran IPS kelas V di SDN 141 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimen, yaitu One Group Pretest-Posttest Design dengan sampel sebanyak 31 siswa kelas VA, sedangkan uji coba instrumen dilakukan pada siswa kelas VB dengan jumlah 23 siswa. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket keaktifan siswa dengan menggunakan angket skala Likert dan lembar observasi penggunaan model pembelajaran Role Playing aktivitas guru dan siswa menggunakan observasi angket skala Guttment, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan uji normalitras, uji homogenitas dan uji-t (paired sample t-test), regresi linier sederhana, dan uji koefisien determinasi dengan bantuan SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor rata-rata keaktifan siswa dari 51,61 pada pretest menjadi 74,29 pada posttest dengan selisih 22,65 poin. Uji paired sample t-test menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah penerapan Role Playing. Uji regresi linier sederhana juga menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga hipotesis alternatif diterima, dengan kontribusi model Role Playing terhadap peningkatan keaktifan siswa sebesar 90,7%, sementara 9,3% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Dengan demikian, model Role Playing terbukti berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan keaktifan siswa karena mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang interaktif, mendorong partisipasi aktif, serta menjadikan pembelajaran IPS lebih bermakna.

Abstract

Students' thinking awareness in learning at school is not optimal because educators have not used appropriate strategies This study aims to determine the effect of applying metacognitive technique on students' cognitive them within the teaching and learning process fifth-grade science learning at SDN Gugus I Sudirman Surakarta, and to analyze the effectiveness of metacognitive strategies in increasing students' awareness and self-control of their learning process. This study employs a quasi-experimental design within a quantitative research framework One Group Posttest-Only Design with Nonequivalent. The research The study participants comprised 55 students, who were assigned to either an experimental group (n=27) or a control group (n=28). Data collection technique was through a A 20-item multiple-choice test that had been validated and tested for reliability was employed (0.739). Data were analyzed using normality, homogeneity, and an Independent Samples T-Test was conducted to compare the post-test results. The analysis revealed that the mean post-test score of the experimental group (78.15 was significantly higher than that of the control group (53.21). The research of the hypothesis test showed a t-test (2.964) > t-table (2.005) a significance level of 0.000 (p < .05) was found, which led to the conclusion that. The conclusion of this study is that metacognitive strategies have a significant and effective effect on improving students' cognitive learning outcomes in science learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the habit of parents to instill Islamic education in adolescents in Mangga village. The research method uses qualitative and descriptive methods. The data was taken through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis, using the miles and huberman techniques, namely, data retrieval, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The findings obtained were motivated by the existence of problems that occurred in the field, that teenagers in Mangga village have bad habits, this triggered serious problems, so it requires special attention to every parent and family at home. Therefore, parents begin to accustom children from childhood to carry out positive activities, support, instill strong Islamic values and pay special attention to every child, especially teenagers, both from the influence of the environment, digital media, and adolescent associations.

Abstract

This study explores the global research landscape of STEM education using a bibliometric analysis of publications indexed in Scopus from 2010 to 2024. A total of 1,148 documents from 466 different sources were analyzed with the support of VOSviewer and Biblioshiny to examine publication trends, productivity indicators, and keyword co-occurrence networks. The results reveal a steady increase in research output, beginning with fewer than 50 documents in 2010 and reaching more than 250 publications by 2024, which reflects the growing recognition of STEM education as an important area of academic inquiry. Productivity analysis shows that the United States is the most dominant contributor, particularly through institutions such as Texas A&M University and Purdue University, while significant contributions also come from China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Australia. At the author level, scholars such as Li Yeping, Morris Siu Yung Jong, and Lyn D. English are identified as influential in advancing the field. The keyword co-occurrence analysis identifies five thematic clusters, namely pedagogy and curriculum, technology integration, equity and sustainability, disciplinary approaches, and learning outcomes. These findings demonstrate that STEM education has become a multidisciplinary and collaborative field of research that is both pedagogically grounded and responsive to societal challenges, offering valuable insights for future research and policy.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh efikasi diri dan lingkungan sekolah terhadap motivasi belajar dan prestasi belajar ekonomi siswa kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah Kutoarjo, serta pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar ekonomi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis jalur. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) efikasi diri berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar (β = 0,298, sig = 0,00), (2) lingkungan sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar (β = 0,608, sig = 0,000), (3) efikasi diri berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar ekonomi (β = 0,432, sig = 0,000), (4) lingkungan sekolah berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar ekonomi (β = –0,571, p = 0,000), (5) efikasi diri berpengaruh negatif melalui motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar ekonomi (-0,136 ≤ 0,432), (6) lingkungan sekolah berpengaruh negatif melalui motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar ekonomi (-0,279 ≤ -0,571), dan (7) motivasi sebagai variabel intervening berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar ekonomi (β = 0,432, sig = 0,000). berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar ekonomi (β = -0,458, sig = 0,008).

Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Kuningan in Panawangan Village was implemented as a form of student engagement to strengthen financial literacy and environmental awareness among elementary school students. This program aimed to foster early saving habits while increasing awareness of plastic waste management. The activity was conducted on August 9, 2025, at SDN 1 Panawangan, involving 21 fourth-grade students (11 boys and 10 girls). The methods included a socialization session on the importance of saving, education on waste management, and a hands-on workshop creating piggy banks from used plastic bottles as a creative medium for saving. The results showed that all participants successfully produced 21 piggy banks and demonstrated high enthusiasm in understanding the concepts of saving and plastic waste recycling. This program not only enhanced students’ financial literacy but also instilled environmental responsibility through the application of recycling principles. It is expected that this KKN activity will inspire schools and communities to develop similar initiatives as a sustainable character-building effort.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of collage media as an effort to improve learning focus in children aged 5-6 at As-Salam Islamic Kindergarten, Bekasi. The research background stems from the problem of children's low focus during academic learning activities. Through collage activities, children are given the experience of arranging various materials into a work of art, thereby practicing their attention skills, patience, and accuracy. This study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that collage media can be a fun and effective learning option because it can increase children's engagement, strengthen focus, and develop creativity. Collage media not only functions as art but can also be used as a learning strategy that supports cognitive development and focus skills in early childhood.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of teachers in stimulating disciplined characters in PAUD Kamboja, Tunggaling Village, Banggai Islands Regency. The approach used is descriptive qualitative research, through this method will describe the role of teachers in stimulating disciplined characters in PAUD Kamboja, Tunggaling Village, Banggai Islands Regency. The implementation of character education from an early age is important in shaping children's character by utilizing the golden period of their growth. Therefore, educators are expected to have the ability to instill character values ​​in early childhood. The implementation and planning as well as implementation in the habits carried out by children are certainly inseparable from the role of teachers in developing children's character. Based on the results of observations with teachers at PAUD Kamboja, Tunggaling Village, Banggai Islands Regency, it can be concluded that the role of teachers in stimulating disciplined characters is that a teacher always provides a good example to children such as always being patient, meticulous, coming early to greet the arrival of their students, getting used to being disciplined in queuing when washing hands, being able to put things in their place and being caring towards others. Obstacles often experienced by teachers are the lack of responsibility, participation and support from parents and differences in children's comprehension that have not been able to foster a strong sense of self-confidence to interact in the classroom, so they must be given the right encouragement and stimulation so that children can accept and are able to instill a disciplined character gradually.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali unsur-unsur geometri pada tabak Melayu Riau yang dapat dijadikan sumber belajar matematika yang lebih mendalam, bermakna, dan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran peserta didik mengenai pentingnya melestarikan budaya sebagai warisan nenek moyang. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode penelitian etnografi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Instrument penelitian yaitu human instrument atau peneliti sebagai instrument utama penelitian yang menentukan fokus penelitian, memilih informan, melakukan pengumpulan data, mengevaluasi, keabsahan data serta menganalisis dan menafsirkan data. Analisis data yang digunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan adanya konsep geometri bangun datar dan bangun ruang pada budaya tabak Melayu Riau. Konsep-konsep yang ditemukan dapat dijadikan sumber belajar dalam mengenal dan mempelajari materi geometri melalui budaya yang mulai tergerus oleh modernisasi, globalisasi, dan kurangnya kesadaran generasi muda untuk mempelajari budaya lokal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena peneliti mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan berbicara yang dihadapi siswa berdasarkan pengalamannya selama kegiatan observasi di Mas Mathla'ul Anwar Pusat Menes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh signifikan penggunaan kanal YouTube “Speak English with Tiffani” terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas XI di Mas Mathla’ul Anwar Pusat Menes pada Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026. Kelas eksperimen diajarkan dengan menggunakan kanal YouTube “Speak English with Tiffani”, sedangkan kelas kontrol diajarkan dengan menggunakan metode konvensional Role Play. Dalam teknik pengumpulan data, peneliti memberikan pre-test dan post-test. Jumlah skor pre-test di kelas kontrol adalah 1510. Sementara itu, jumlah skor post-test di kelas kontrol adalah 2070. Jumlah skor pre-test di kelas eksperimen adalah 1585. Sementara itu, jumlah skor post-test di kelas eksperimen adalah 2215. Rata-rata pre-test di kelas kontrol adalah 50,00. Sementara itu, rata-rata post-test di kelas kontrol adalah 68,83. Kemudian, rata-rata pre-test di kelas eksperimen adalah 48,83. Sementara itu, rata-rata post-test di kelas eksperimen adalah 68,17. Oleh karena itu, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan kanal YouTube Speak English with Tiffani memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa di Mas Mathla'ul Anwar Pusat Menes
