Abstract

This research is a classroom action research consisting of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The actions are carried out in two cycles, and each cycle consists of two meetings. By using the PJBL model with a poster design project on the material of rights and obligations at home and at school, there has been an increase in terms of learning outcomes and skills in doing assignments. This is evidenced by the results of the research cycle I meeting II by making a poster design project for rights and obligations has reached 85% in the very good category and the results of cycle II meeting II percentage 82% for LKPD while 91% for test questions this percentage is included in the very good category.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam di Indonesia berkembang melalui interaksi dengan pusat-pusat keilmuan dunia, dari pesantren tradisional hingga madrasah dan perguruan tinggi Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan analisis isi dan historis untuk menelusuri genealogi pendidikan Islam, perkembangannya, serta kontribusinya dalam dinamika global. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Islam di Indonesia mengalami tiga fase utama: pertama, fase pembentukan pesantren yang dipengaruhi oleh tradisi keilmuan Islam dari Timur Tengah dan Asia Selatan; kedua, fase modernisasi madrasah yang mengadaptasi sistem pendidikan formal sebagai respons terhadap kolonialisme dan tuntutan zaman; dan ketiga, fase globalisasi pendidikan Islam yang ditandai dengan kerja sama akademik, pertukaran pelajar, serta pengaruh pemikiran Islam dari berbagai belahan dunia. Jejaring pendidikan Islam Indonesia dengan dunia terus berkembang melalui peningkatan mobilitas intelektual, penguatan kurikulum berbasis integrasi ilmu agama dan sains, serta adaptasi terhadap tantangan global. Dengan memahami pola hubungan historis dan dinamika global yang terjadi, lembaga pendidikan Islam di Indonesia dapat terus berkontribusi dalam memperkuat peradaban Islam secara lebih luas. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Islam, Genealogi, Pesantren, Madrasah, Globalisasi. Abstract

Islamic Education in Indonesia has developed through interactions with centers of Islamic scholarship worldwide, ranging from traditional pesantren to madrasahs and Islamic universities. This study employs a literature review method with content and historical analysis to trace the genealogy of Islamic education, its development, and its contribution to global dynamics. The findings reveal that Islamic education in Indonesia has undergone three major phases: first, the formation of pesantren influenced by Islamic scholarly traditions from the Middle East and South Asia; second, the modernization of madrasahs, which adapted formal education systems in response to colonialism and contemporary demands; and third, the globalization of Islamic education, marked by academic cooperation, student exchanges, and the influence of Islamic thought from various parts of the world. The network of Islamic education in Indonesia continues to expand through increased intellectual mobility, curriculum enhancement that integrates religious and scientific knowledge, and adaptation to global challenges. By understanding historical patterns and global dynamics, Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia can continue to contribute to strengthening Islamic civilization on a broader scale.

Abstract

The age of elementary school children is an ideal time to use learning media, especially concrete media. This research aims to develop learning media in the form of scrapbooks to strengthen the character of mutual cooperation in grade IV students at SDN Cijengkol 02, Bekasi. Scrapbooks are considered effective as a learning medium because they can facilitate interaction between students and teachers and increase students' interest in learning. This research uses the Research and Development (RnD) method, which includes the stages of design, validation, and media effectiveness testing. The results of the study show that the use of scrapbooks as a learning medium can increase the active participation of students and strengthen the character of mutual cooperation in accordance with the Pancasila Education material. In addition, this media also offers creative and interesting alternatives in delivering material, so that the learning process becomes more interactive and fun.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative experimental study involving two classes, namely an experimental class and a control class, which aims to determine the effect of using pop-up books on early reading skills in 1st grade elementary school students. The sample in this study consisted of 1st grade students at SDN Duren Jaya VI and 1st grade students at SDN Duren Jaya VII. The research design used was a nonequivalent control group design, which means that there were two groups to be compared, namely the experimental class and the control class (comparison class). The sample obtained in this study consisted of 125 1st grade students. The data collection technique used was a preliminary reading ability test given to students at the beginning and end of the meeting. Data collection was carried out using a test instrument consisting of 9 reading comprehension questions that had been tested for validity and reliability. The instrument was also tested for normality and homogeneity using data requirements tests. Next, hypothesis analysis was conducted using a t-test with a significance level of α = 0.05, yielding a sig. value of < 0.000. Because the significance value was < the significance level of α = 0.05, was rejected and was accepted, which means that there was an effect of the use of pop-up books on the early reading skills of 1st grade elementary school students. Therefore, teachers need to choose the right learning media to improve students' early reading skills.

Abstract

This study was aimed to know the effect of using E-LKPD based on Problem Based Learning on conceptual understanding of the human digestive system material. Conceptual understanding is included in the dimensions of cognitive processes. This study was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Tuban. The research methodused was a quasi- experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study were students of class VIII.G as a control class with conventional learning and VIII.H as an experimental class with learning using E-LKPD based on Problem Based Learning. The sample in each group was 31 people for the control class and 32 people for the experimental class. Data collection was carried out using E-LKPD which contained questions in accordance with the PBL syntax in students' conceptual understanding of the human digestive system material. Data analysis using the polled variance t-test obtained the results of t count = 9.25 greater than t table = 1.99. Thismeans that t count > t table, and a significant value of 0.05 or 5%. So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted at a significant level of 5% so it is concluded that there is a significant difference between the average pre-test and post-test scores of the experimental group and the control group. This shows that there is an influence of the use of E-LKPD based on Problem Based Learning on conceptual understanding of the human digestive system material.

Abstract

This study presents a systematic review of sentiment analysis research conducted between 2021 and 2025 using the PRISMA method. From searches across three databases, namely Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar, and Garuda, a total of 12,089 articles were identified and then filtered down to 30 selected studies. The aim of this study is to identify the methods, algorithms, data sources, and accuracy levels used in sentiment analysis research. The findings indicate that the Naïve Bayes algorithm is the most widely applied, followed by SVM, while other algorithms such as KNN, Random Forest, Logistic Regression, and CNN were used only in limited cases. These findings highlight that sentiment analysis remains largely directed toward digital and social media issues, with classical algorithms such as Naïve Bayes and SVM continuing to be the main choices due to their ease of implementation and competitive accuracy.

Abstract

The Mystery Box learning media is a proven solution that can improve students' understanding of the IPAS curriculum. This media is designed to improve cognitive understanding in more complex IPAS classes. In the digital age, the use of various forms of educational media has become increasingly common in various fields of life, including education. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the Mystery Box learning media could improve the social studies learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 2 Natar Lampung Selatan. This study is quantitative research. The design used is a quasi-experimental design (post-test only control design), which was conducted at SDN 2 Natar. This study used two groups, namely IV-A as the experimental group consisting of 26 students and IV-B as the control group consisting of 26 students, as well as one additional class as a validation class. The instruments used in this study included tests. Data analysis was performed using the t-test. Data were obtained from the post-test results. Analysis of the research results showed that the normality test produced values of 0.076 and 0.010, which means > 0.05, indicating that the data were normally distributed. The homogeneity test showed a value of 0.711 > 0.05, indicating that the data were homogeneous. The results of the hypothesis test using the independent sample t-test produced a value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that

Abstract

Mathematics learning in one of the Elementary Schools in Malang City still faces various challenges, one of which is the use of concrete media in the form of dominoes in learning multiplication of whole numbers in grade 4. This development research aims to determine the feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of Nearpod-based learning media in mathematics learning. This development research uses a Research and Development (R&D) research design that refers to the ADDIE development model with 5 stages, namely: (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, (5) Evaluation. This research passed a feasibility test from media experts, material experts and language experts. The subjects of this research involved teachers and grade 4 students, through two trial stages: a limited field involving 3 students and a wide field involving 25 students. Data were analyzed based on validation sheet instruments, questionnaires and tests to assess improvements in student learning outcomes. The feasibility results by media experts obtained a percentage of 95.4%, material experts obtained a percentage of 92.5% and language experts obtained a percentage of 96.8%, the feasibility of Nearpod-based learning media obtained an average of 94.9% included in the "very feasible" category. The percentage of practicality of Nearpod-based learning media by limited field students was 96.6% and wide field students were 96.3% included in the "very practical" category. The practicality test by teachers obtained a percentage of 93.1% with the "very practical" category. The effectiveness test obtained 0.86 with an average of 86.8 included in the "effective" category. It was concluded that Nearpod-based learning media is feasible, practical, and effective to be used as a digital learning medium.

Abstract

This study examines descriptive text writing skills using Picture Series Media with Local Cultural Content in fifth-grade elementary school students. The purpose of this research is to determine the difference in the effect of Picture Series Media on the ability to write descriptive texts among fifth-grade students. The research method applied was quantitative with a quasi-experimental design, specifically the Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The research subjects consisted of 60 fifth- grade students of SDN Cigasong I, divided into two groups: class VA as the experimental group (30 students) and class VB as the control group (30 students). The research instruments included tests (pre-test and post-test), observations, interviews, and questionnaires. Data were analyzed through normality and homogeneity tests, Independent Sample T-Test, Paired Sample T-Test, and N-Gain test. The findings revealed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous, thereby fulfilling the requirements for parametric testing. The mean post-test score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group. The Paired Sample T-Test showed a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results in the experimental group. Meanwhile, the N-Gain results indicated an average of 83.89% (high category) for the experimental group, whereas the control group achieved only 33.36% (medium category). Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Picture Series Media has a significant and effective influence in improving elementary school students’ descriptive writing skills.
