Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the post study room implemented by KKN students in increasing student interest in learning in Bulu-Bulu Village. The re- search method used a qualitative approach with observation, interviews, and doc- umentation techniques. The research subjects consisted of elementary and middle school students, KKN students as facilitators, and parents of students. The results showed that the post study room had a positive influence on students' motivation and interest in learning, through interactive teaching methods, emotional support, and role models from the facilitators. However, there were still obstacles such as limited facilities and study hours that sometimes clashed with other student activi- ties. The conclusion states that the post study room is very helpful in increasing interest in learning, provided it is equipped with good resource support and coordi- nation.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN 007 Samarinda Ulu, especially in the Pancasila Education subject. This research aims to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes through the STAD type Cooperative Learning model in fifth-grade students of SDN 007 Samarinda Ulu in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of 2 cycles and each cycle consists of 2 meetings. The subjects in this study were 18 fifth grade students consisting of 8 male students and 10 female students. And the object of this research is the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education and the improvement of each cycle using the Cooperative Learning model. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, tests and documentation. The instruments in this study used teacher activity observation sheets, student activity observation sheets and evaluation tests. The data analysis techniques in this study used averages, percentages and diagrams. The research results showed that the increase was indicated by the learning outcomes of students in the pre-cycle obtaining an average of 54.6 with a completion percentage of 22%. The learning outcomes of students in cycle I experienced an increase of 16% from the pre-cycle baseline value, with an average class value of 63.33 with a completion percentage of 44%. The learning outcomes of cycle II experienced an increase of 37.86% from the pre-cycle baseline value, with an average class value of 75.27 with a completion percentage of 83% with 15 students completing and 3 students not completing, and achieving more than the expected success indicator of 70%. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there was an increase in the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education on the material of Gotong Royong, Characteristics of My Nation through the Cooperative Learning model in grade V students of SDN 007 Samarinda Ulu in the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

Classroom environment management, particularly the design of seating arrangements, is an essential element in fostering student participation dynamics and optimizing academic achievement, especially in the context of Indonesian language subjects that demand intensive interaction. This study systematically compares the influence of U-shaped seating formations with traditional models on the learning abilities of fifth-grade students at SDN 52 Pangkalpinang. The research employed a quantitative approach, implemented through a pre-experimental one- group posttest-only design, with participants consisting of all 28 students of class V A using a total sampling technique. Data collection instruments included pretests and posttests, facilitated by cognitive tests and subjective questionnaires to capture perceptual dimensions. The data analysis stage covered normality testing, examination of supporting conditions, and hypothesis validation using the Paired- Sample T test to ensure interpretive accuracy. Empirically, differences in learning scores were found to be significant, with the U-shaped formation producing higher average scores than the traditional model, as confirmed by a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05) and a t-value of 4.900 exceeding the t-table value of 2.052— indicating a reliable improvement. In contrast, questionnaire data regarding student perceptions revealed no meaningful disparity, based on a significance value of 0.374 (p > 0.05) and a t-value of 0.904 below the t-table value of 2.052, indicating consistency in students’ views across seating arrangements. Therefore, with Ha accepted and Ho rejected, this study concludes that the comparison between U- shaped and traditional seating formations has a substantial impact on Indonesian language learning achievement in fifth grade at SDN 52 Pangkalpinang, opening opportunities for more inclusive pedagogical innovations in primary education

Abstract

This study aims to test the effect of using Wordwall learning media on the learning outcomes of class IV SDN 104255 Paluh Sibaji. The learning process of Science, indicates that student learning outcomes are not optimal. Wordwall learning media was chosen as an intervention because of its potential in increasing motivation and learning interactivity. This study uses a quasi-experimental quantitative research method using the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The data collected include, quantitative data obtained from pretest scores in the form of questions on photosynthesis material. Then qualitative data in the form of student response questionnaire data to the WordWall learning media. Data collection techniques in this study are Pretest and posttest. The pretest was carried out at the beginning of the learning activity while the posttest was carried out at the end of learning, and student questionnaire data which is additional data aimed at finding out students' opinions about the WordWall learning media in Science learning. The results of the analysis showed that the average posttest score of students in the experimental class was 82.75, while the control class obtained an average of 72.10. Based on the t-test, the sig value was obtained. (2-tailed) of 0.001 < 0.05 which indicates a significant increase between the two classes. Then, the results indicate that the Wordwall learning media has a positive and significant influence on improving the learning outcomes of class IV students of SDN 104255 Paluh Sibaji. Thus, the use of WordWall media has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes and can be an innovative alternative in the learning process.

Abstract

Emotional regulation is important for student learning success and social adjustment. At Sanggar Belajar Pandan, Malaysia, students still face challenges in managing their emotions while learning. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group counseling using role-playing techniques in improving student emotional regulation. A quantitative method with a one-group pre-test post-test quasi-experimental design was applied to eight fifth and sixth grade students through total sampling. The results showed an increase in the average score from 33.25 to 40.38, with an average N-Gain of 0.395 (moderate). The Paired-Samples t-test showed a significance of 0.001 (< 0.05), indicating a significant difference. These findings confirm that group counseling with role playing is effective in improving students' emotional regulation.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low cognitive abilities of students, which have an impact on low learning outcomes. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of interactive PowerPoint learning media on the cognitive abilities of fifth-grade students in the human digestive system material at SDN Banjarsari 3. This research uses a quasi-experimental method with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Data collection techniques were carried out through tests. Data analysis was conducted using prerequisite tests, hypothesis testing, and Effect Size. Based on the results of the t-test for the pretest, the significance value was 0.981 > 0.05, so H₀ is accepted. This means there is no significant difference in the initial cognitive abilities of the two groups. The posttest t-test results showed a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05, so H₀ is rejected. This indicates a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group. Furthermore, the Effect Size test results obtained a Cohen's d value of 1.002714, which is classified as high. It can be concluded that interactive PowerPoint learning media significantly influence the improvement of students' cognitive abilities.

Abstract

The study aimsto determine the effect of Scrapbook Media on Learning Outcomes in PPKn Learning for Class III of SD Negeri 125138 Pematangsiantar. The background of this study is the low learning outcomes are significant changes in students’ knowledg, skills, and attitudes after going through the learning process, which can be meansured by success in understanding and mastering learning materials.The research method used in this study is an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 22 class III students. The results showed that scrapbook media had a significant effect on improving PPKn learningoutcomes. The average pretest value of 54,09 was ranked to 80,45in the posttest with the percentage of learning completion ranking and 13,63% to 86,36%. The results of the hypothesis test obtained a t –value of 8,717> 1 table 2,056 and a significance of 0,000 > 0,05, so that the altervative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. The conclusion of this study is that the scrapbook media in this study is effective in improving the learning outcomes of PPKn students in grade III of SD Negeri 125138 Pematangsiantar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of literacy based instruction on the reading comprehension skills of third-grade students at SD Negeri Bibisluhur 1 Surakarta. The research employed a quantitative approach with an experimental method using a one- group pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of all 28 students in class III A. Data collection techniques included tests, observation, and documentation. The research instruments were validated through validity and reliability tests, while data analysis was conducted using prerequisite tests and hypothesis testing with the Independent Sample t- test. The results of the study revealed that literacy-based instruction had a significant effect on improving students' reading comprehension skills. This was evidenced by an increase in the average student score from 48.21 in the pretest to 76.07 in the posttest. Most students shifted from the "not yet proficient" category to the "proficient" and even "highly proficient" categories

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Time Token learning model on the science learning outcomes of grade V students at SD Negeri 094155 Rambung Merah. This research is quantitative, using a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were 25 grade V students at SD Negeri 094155 Rambung Merah. The sample used saturated sampling, consisting of 11 female students and 14 male students. The results of this study showed that the pretest average was 52.64 and the posttest average was 79.12. Data analysis using a faired sample t-test revealed a significance level of 15.05 > 2.064, meaning that t count > t table. Therefore, Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. It can be concluded that the Time Token learning model has an effect on the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 094155 Rambung Merah.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning assessment assisted by the Quizizz application for the IPAS subject with the topic My Indonesia, Rich in Culture for fourth-grade elementary school students. The background of this research is the low level of student engagement in assessments, which remain conventional and lack the use of technology. This study employs Research and Development (R&D) methodology using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The assessment product was developed based on the learning outcomes of the Merdeka Curriculum and validated by content experts, assessment experts, instructional experts, and tested on fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 064034 Medan Johor. The validation results showed that the developed assessment was considered feasible before revision (78%) and became very feasible after revision (84%). Additionally, the assessment received a 88% feasibility rating from the assessment expert, 98% from the instructional expert, and 94.82% positive responses from students. These findings indicate that the Quizizz application is effective as an interactive and engaging assessment tool, and can enhance students' interest and understanding of Indonesia’s cultural diversity.
