Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach in Mathematics learning for Grade V students on the topic of Data at SD Negeri 1 Baleharjo, Eromoko District, Wonogiri Regency, in the 2024/2025 academic year. TaRL is an approach that focuses on grouping students based on their ability levels rather than their age or grade level. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation, which are then analyzed using the interactive analysis model by Miles and Huberman, consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity is tested through triangulation of techniques and sources. The results show that the implementation of TaRL successfully aligns learning with students' ability levels through diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments. Students are grouped based on the assessment results to ensure that the learning they receive is more tailored to their needs and capabilities. This process allows for improved learning outcomes, especially for those requiring more intensive support. This study contributes to a better understanding of how the TaRL approach can be applied within the Merdeka Curriculum to enhance more effective and student- centered learning.

Abstract

This study discusses Empelu Hamlet in Cultural Studies from 2010 to 2023. The research questions are: How was Empelu Hamlet in cultural studies before 2010, and how did cultural traditions develop in Empelu Hamlet from 2010 to 2023? The objective of this study is to describe the development of cultural traditions in Empelu Village from 2010 to 2023 and before 2010. The research method used in this study is the Historical Research Method. This method consists of: 1) Heuristics, collecting data from archives, books, and documents, 2) Verification, testing the validity of the data, 3) Interpretation, analyzing the collected data, and 4) Historiography, compiling the research results into a report. The research results indicate that the development of cultural traditions in Empelu Village still preserves traditional customs, such as Baralek, Mandi Balasai, Balaie, Melebak, and Babantai, which still exist but appear sporadically in society. However, the influence of globalization and technological development has caused shifts in lifestyle patterns, particularly among the younger generation, who tend to abandon traditional cultural practices. Preservation efforts are carried out through traditional activities, local education, and local government support in the development of culture-based tourism. The conclusion of this study is that the culture of Empelu Hamlet remains intact despite undergoing changes, and a sustainable preservation strategy is needed to prevent it from losing its identity amid the tide of modernization.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has driven transformation in educational management, including the implementation of Management Information Systems (MIS). This study aims to examine the basic concepts and implementation of MIS in the field of education, using a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review. MIS in educational settings covers various aspects, such as student data management, learning outcome reporting, teacher performance monitoring, and financial management. The integrated implementation of MIS enables increased efficiency, effectiveness, and transparency in the delivery of educational services. In addition, the use of information technology tools such as E- Report Cards and Financial MIS can accelerate administrative processes and support strategic decision-making in Islamic educational institutions. This study emphasizes the importance of a comprehensive understanding of MIS concepts and practices to enhance the quality of education in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the implementation of classical and non-classical guidance services and learning motivation on student achievement at SMP Negeri 4 Nabire. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with an experimental design. The instruments used to collect data are a learning motivation questionnaire and a student achievement test. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to students and administering a learning achievement test after the implementation of guidance services. The data obtained were then analyzed using the SPSS 27 program with a two-way ANOVA analysis technique. The results showed that the guidance service method, both classical and non-classical, had a significant effect on student achievement, with a very high F value (165.743) and a very low p-value (0.000). In addition, learning motivation was also found to have a significant effect on student achievement, with an F value of 99.719 and a p-value of 0.000. These findings indicate that learning motivation is a key factor in student academic achievement. The study also found a significant effect of the interaction between guidance methods and learning motivation on student achievement. Students with high learning motivation benefit more from classical tutoring methods, while students with lower motivation benefit more from more flexible non-classical tutoring methods. Based on these results, it is recommended that schools introduce and implement tutoring methods that are appropriate to students' characteristics and learning motivation, in order to improve their academic achievement. A more personalized approach in tutoring services and efforts to improve students' learning motivation will have a positive impact on academic achievement.

Abstract

Civic education in elementary schools plays an important role in shaping character and understanding of Pancasila values. However, learning methods that still predominantly use lectures often make it difficult for students to understand abstract concepts. This study was conducted to test the urgency of using Argument Mapping- based media as an innovative alternative in improving students' conceptual understanding. The study used a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of 35 fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 3 Blang Mangat, divided into an experimental class (18 students) using Argument Mapping and a control class (17 students) using conventional methods. The instrument was an essay test consisting of 8 items that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed a significant increase in the experimental class (average 72.22 to 91) compared to the control class, with a t-test (p < 0.05) proving a positive effect. It was concluded that the Argument Mapping media was effective in improving students' conceptual understanding and training them to think critically, systematically, and logically. Abstract

This study attempts to uncover the semantic meaning of the term "Horas" as a symbol of the cultural identity of the Batak Toba people. The context of this study began with concerns about the declining awareness of the younger generation about the cultural meaning contained in traditional greetings. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach using semantic analysis techniques that combine structural semantics and ethnolinguistic perspectives. Data were collected through comprehensive interviews with traditional spokespersons, supplemented by analysis of literature and cultural media. The findings of the study indicate that the term "Horas" not only signifies safety and well-being in the lexical sense, but also carries contextual meanings as prayers, blessings, spiritual support, and representations of social relationships. In various customary settings such as marriage, migration, death, and social events, "Horas" functions as a representation of noble values such as solidarity, respect, and family. The findings of this study emphasize that maintaining the important meaning of "Horas" is very important in order to uphold the cultural identity of the Batak Toba people and must be integrated through education and adaptive cultural media for future generations.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest in reading among students. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This research was conducted in class II of SD Negeri 09 Tanjung Barat. The data collection technique in this study went through two stages, namely expert validation tests and practicality tests. The results of this study indicate that the learning media that has been made in the form of a scrapbook is said to be valid from the results of the calculations of media experts who obtained an assessment of 81%, language experts obtained an assessment of 100%, and material experts obtained an assessment of 98% with very valid criteria. The results of the practicality test of educator responses were 98% and student responses obtained an assessment of 90% with very practical criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that the scrapbook learning media is very valid and very practical to be applied to learning in class II with an average of 93.4%.

Abstract

This research aims to describe mathematical literacy in solving one-variable linear inequality problems in relation to the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 6 Meliau. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive research. The research instrument used in this research was test questions. The subjects of this research were class VIII students for the 2023/2024 academic year with a total of 22 students. The type of data collected is the results of students' mathematical literacy tests. Data were analyzed based on mathematical literacy stages and looked at the relationship between mathematical literacy and student learning outcomes. The results of data analysis on students' mathematical literacy abilities at the stage of formulating problems into mathematical form are included in the incapable category, at the stage of using strategies to determine solutions to problems are included in the incapable category, at the stage of interpreting the results obtained are included in the incapable category, the relationship between mathematical literacy with student learning outcomes classified as very strong.

Abstract

Poster writing is an essential skill for students, especially in today's visual era. Through poster creation, students are trained to think creatively, organize ideas, and convey messages effectively and engagingly. Poster writing skills are beneficial not only in learning contexts but also in everyday life. Based on field observations, students experience difficulty formulating ideas or concepts, lack attractive designs, and lack writing skills. This is due to the lack of variety in the learning models implemented by teachers. This study aims to describe the differences in poster writing learning outcomes between sixth-grade elementary school students in Ganeas District, Sumedang Regency, using the Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, and Extending (CORE) model with the aid of Canva and those without the CORE model with the aid of Canva in the 2025/2026 academic year. Therefore, the instruments used were teaching modules and tests. The method used in this study was a quasi- experimental study with qualitative and quantitative analysis. Based on data analysis, the success rate of poster writing learning using the CORE model with the aid of Canva in the experimental class was categorized as high. This is evidenced by the results of the z test which shows that z count -0.36 is located within the interval -Z0.4900 S.d Z0.4900 or -2.33 < -0.36 < 2.33. The success rate of learning to write posters using image media in the control class is classified as low. This is evidenced by the results of the z test which shows that z count -2.14 is located outside the interval -Z0.4900 S.d Z0.4900 or -2.14 > -2.33. There is no significant difference in the ability to write posters between those using the CORE model assisted by Canva media and those using the conventional model. This is evidenced by the results of the t test calculation which shows t count = 1.24 which is smaller than t0.995 = 2.66 or 1.24 < 2.66. Thus, both models can be used in

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of physical condition of pencak silat athletes at UKM Pencak Silat STKIP Rosalia Lampung. This study uses a quantitative approach. This type of research is a survey. The population is 18 athletes and the sample of this study is 18 athletes taken using the total sampling technique. Data collection techniques are carried out by testing strength, speed, flexibility, agility, explosive power and balance tests. Data analysis uses the average formula and frequency distribution. Based on the results of data processing, it is known that the level of physical condition of pencak silat athletes at UKM STKIP Rosalia Lampung in terms of physical strength is classified as moderate, physical speed is in the moderate category, physical flexibility is in the good category, physical agility is in the above average category, physical explosive power is in the good category and physical balance is in the average category.
