Abstract

The problem in this study is the lack of students' conceptual understanding ability. This study aims to determine the Effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model assisted by the Reading Diorama Room Media (BIDIBA) on Students' Concept Understanding Ability. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with a Quasi-experimental design in the form of the nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique in this study uses a purposive sampling method with a purposive sampling technique. The sample of this study was class III A and B of Sidomulyo 04 Public Elementary School. Data collection techniques in this study are test techniques (pre-test and post-test) and non-test (observation, questionnaires, structured interviews, and documentation). The data analysis techniques are normality test, homogeneity test, independent sample t test, and simple linear regression test. The results of the study show that: (1) There is a difference in the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by the Bilik Diorama Baca (BIDIBA) media on students' conceptual understanding abilities, this can be proven by the results of the independent test until the t test with a significance value of 0.002 <0.05 Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted; and (2) There is an influence of the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by the Bilik Diorama Baca (BIDIBA) media on students' conceptual understanding abilities, this can be proven by the results of the linear regression test with a significance value of 0.008 <0.05 Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The results of this study can be concluded that the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by the Bilik Diorama Baca (BIDIBA) media has an effect on students' conceptual understanding abilities in grade III. Abstract

21st-century education demands relevant skills to prepare students to face challenges in the workplace and society. The philosophy of pragmatism, with its emphasis on experiential learning, provides an effective approach to implementing the Independent Curriculum. This study aims to analyze how the principles of pragmatism can strengthen the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in the context of 21st-century education. Through a literature review of 10 accredited articles, it was found that the application of pragmatism supports interactive, collaborative, and project-based learning, as well as relevance to technology. The results indicate that this approach can improve students' critical, creative, and adaptive thinking skills. Therefore, the implementation of the Independent Curriculum, based on the philosophy of pragmatism, is a strategic solution to address the challenges of 21st-century education.

Abstract

This study examines the breakthroughs in the Islamic Cultural History (SKI) curriculum through the implementation of problem-solving strategies in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) education. This qualitative study adopts a single case study design at MI Nizhamiyah Tanggungkramat Jombang. Data collection was conducted through triangulation, which included in-depth interviews, observations, and analysis of learning documents. The results of the study clearly show that the SKI curriculum innovation driven by the problem-solving approach has succeeded in sparking a significant increase in students' critical thinking skills through a series of key stages: (1) the process of systematically integrating problem solving into the school's operational curriculum, (2) the execution of learning that prioritizes contextual problems, and (3) the development of students' abilities to analyze and evaluate historical evidence. Crucial findings from interviews reveal that students have become much more proactive in unraveling historical dilemmas and formulating arguments based on strong logic. However, the main obstacle identified is the instant learning culture among today's students (Generation Z), which requires specific and adaptive scaffolding strategies. This study strongly recommends the adoption of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method as a core innovation of the SKI curriculum, accompanied by highly contextual adjustments to the characteristics of MI students. Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peranan penting dalam menentukan kemajuan suatu negara, dimana dari pendidikan akan membentuk sumber daya manusia yang kompeten dan siap bersaing secara global. Akan tetapi, banyak dijumpai peserta didik di jenjang pendidikan menengah yang mengalami kecemasan akademik. Tekanan akademik, kecemasan sosial dan juga adanya kompetisi antar peserta didik menjadi faktor peserta didik mengalami kecemasan akademik. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, peneliti menggunakan layanan konseling kelompok dalam membantu peserta didik mengelola tingkat kecemasan akademik. Artikel ini membahas tentang penerapan konseling kelompok dalam mengatasi kecemasan akademik peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitiatif dengan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk kecemasan yang dialami oleh peserta didik SMAS Muhammadiyah Sampit berupa rasa gugup, khawatir juga cemas. Faktor yang mempengaruhi bentuk kecemasan tersebut dapat berupa faktor eksternal maupun intermal. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa konseling kelompok memiliki peran efektif dalam menurunkan tingkat kecemasan akademik peserta didik. Dengan adanya konseling kelompok, peserta didik mendapatkan dukungan secrara emosional serta sosial, kesadaran diri yang meningkat serta terbangunnya kepercayaan diri terhadap kemampuan diri sendiri.Keyword : konseling kelompok, kecemasan akademik, peserta didik, bentuk dan faktor, kepercayaan diri

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji penerapan model pembelajaran tematik terpadu di tingkatsekolah dasar, dengan merujuk pada pemberitaan terkini dari internet terkaitimplementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Pembelajaran tematik terpadu adalah suatumetode yang mengintegrasikan beragam mata pelajaran ke dalam satu temasentral yang relevan dengan pengalaman sehari-hari peserta didik, sehinggamenjadikan proses belajar lebih bermakna dan terkait dengan konteks. Denganmengadopsi model ini, peserta didik tidak hanya mendapatkan pengetahuan, tetapijuga diasah keterampilan berpikir kritis, kemampuan bekerja sama, dan daya cipta.Artikel ini menampilkan contoh implementasi tematik terpadu yang diambil darisebuah artikel berita pendidikan, yang kemudian dilampirkan untuk tujuan analisis,terutama mengenai kekeliruan ejaan sesuai pedoman Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia(EBI). Evaluasi yang dilakukan mengindikasikan bahwa penerapan modelpembelajaran tematik terpadu berpotensi meningkatkan antusiasme belajar pesertadidik, walaupun tetap terdapat tantangan terkait keseragaman penggunaan ejaandalam materi berita yang digunakan sebagai rujukan

Abstract

Not all universities in Indonesia implement the cross-subsidy tuition system (UKT silang). In private universities, the principle of cross-subsidization cannot yet be applied, as these institutions are not managed by the government. This presents a unique challenge, especially for students at the Institut Agama Islam Al-Zaytun Indonesia (IAI AL-AZIS) who come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. This situation can serve as a motivation for students to engage in entrepreneurial activities. By fostering entrepreneurial spirit and motivation, it is hoped that students will gain alternative sources of income to support the continuity of their studies, as well as develop life skills that will be beneficial in the future. This study aims to examine the influence of motivation on the entrepreneurial interest of students in the Faculty of Da’wah at IAI AL-AZIS. The research method used is quantitative, employing simple linear regression analysis to determine the presence of influence, and coefficient of determination analysis to measure the percentage of influence between variables. Data obtained from respondents were processed using the Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) application. The results of this study indicate a positive and significant influence between entrepreneurial motivation and students’ interest in entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Dakwah, IAI AL-AZIS. This means that as the variable of entrepreneurial motivation increases, the variable of entrepreneurial interest also increases and this result did not occur by chance but can be scientifically validated. The magnitude of the influence, based on the coefficient of determination value, is 52.2%.

Abstract

Quality management in Islamic education is a systematic effort to ensure and improve the quality of educational processes and outcomes based on Islamic values. This study aims to identify and analyze the internal and external factors that influence the success of quality management in Islamic educational institutions. Internal factors include the leadership of the headmaster, teacher competence, Islamic value–based curriculum, infrastructure, and Islamic organizational culture. Meanwhile, external factors consist of government policies, the role of society and parents, technological developments, and social and economic dynamics. The research method employed is a literature study with a descriptive-analytical approach based on various relevant sources, including theories of educational quality management and the context of Islamic education. The results indicate that synergy between internal and external factors greatly determines the sustainability and effectiveness of quality management implementation in Islamic educational institutions. Therefore, strengthening internal institutional capacity and establishing strategic collaboration with external stakeholders are key to creating superior, relevant, and competitive Islamic education quality.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji nilai-nilai kepesantrenan yang dirumuskan oleh KH. Imam Zarkasyi serta relevansinya terhadap penguatan moderasi beragama di era globalisasi. Kajian ini berangkat dari pandangan bahwa pesantren merupakan lembaga pendidikan Islam yang memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter moderat umat. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan analisis literatur, penelitian ini menelusuri nilai-nilai dasar pesantren seperti keikhlasan, kesederhanaan, kemandirian, ukhuwah Islamiyah, dan kebebasan berpikir dalam bingkai adab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai tersebut memiliki korelasi kuat dengan prinsip-prinsip moderasi beragama, seperti komitmen kebangsaan, toleransi, anti kekerasan, dan penerimaan terhadap budaya lokal. Implementasi nilai-nilai tersebut tercermin dalam sistem pendidikan Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor yang menekankan keseimbangan antara ilmu, akhlak, dan tanggung jawab sosial. Meskipun dihadapkan pada tantangan globalisasi dan digitalisasi, pesantren tetap menjadi benteng moderasi beragama yang adaptif dan relevan. Pemikiran KH. Imam Zarkasyi terbukti memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap penguatan moderasi beragama di Indonesia melalui model pendidikan Islam yang inklusif, rasional, dan berorientasi pada kemaslahatan umat.

Abstract

Language is the primary means for humans to convey ideas, emotions, and thoughts. In education, Arabic holds a crucial position, especially as an integral part of Islamic religious instruction in madrasas. Mastery of comprehension is key to students' ability to understand and use Arabic effectively. However, monotonous learning often leads to a lack of enthusiasm. Therefore, this study aims to assess the effectiveness of the interactive media Quizizz in improving Arabic vocabulary mastery among students at Madrasah Aliyah Islamiyah Candi. This study used a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design, involving experimental and control groups. Data were collected through pre- and post-tests and then analyzed using SPSS version 15 with the Shapiro-Wilk, Levene, and Paired Sample T-Tests. The results showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant effect of Quizizz on improving Arabic language mastery. Keywords: Quizziz, interactive learning, Arabic vocabulary, learning effectiveness Bahasa merupakan sarana utama manusia untuk menyampaikan gagasan, emosi, dan pemikiran. Dalam dunia pendidikan bahasa Arab memiliki kedudukan penting terutama sebagai bagian integral dari pembelajaran agama Islam di madrasah. Penguasaan kosakata menjadi kunci utama agar siswa mampu memahami dan menggunakan bahasa Arab secara efektif. Namun, pembelajaran yang monoton sering membuat siswa kurang antusias. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas media interaktif Quizizz dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab pada siswa Madrasah Aliyah Islamiyah Candi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experimental, melibatkan kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui pre-test dan post-test kemudian dianalisis menggunakan SPSS versi 15 dengan uji Shapiro-Wilk, Levene, dan Paired Sample T-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, menandakan adanya pengaruh signifikan media Quizizz terhadap peningkatan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of painting as a means of self-healing for children at the Aslafuna Sholihin Orphanage in Semarang. The background of this study stems from the psychological condition of the children at the orphanage who are vulnerable to emotional stress, loss of family figures, and limited affection. Through painting, children can express emotions without verbal limitations, so this activity is considered effective as a nonverbal therapy medium that fosters emotional and spiritual balance. The study used a mixed methods approach with an embedded design, which combines quantitative data in the form of children's anxiety and spirituality scales, as well as qualitative data through interviews, observations, and analysis of artworks. The test results showed a decrease in children's anxiety before and after painting with an overall average ranging from 3% to 34%, with an average general decrease of around 19–20%. Analysis of the artworks showed that painting activities helped children channel negative emotions, foster a sense of security, and strengthen spiritual values through symbols and colors. The themes of the paintings that emerged, such as "Sports Park," "Just Me and the Evening," and "One with Nature," depict an emotional journey from tension to calm. Based on art therapy and catharsis theories, this activity has proven to be an effective and enjoyable medium for emotional healing. In conclusion, painting plays a significant role in improving the psychological well-being of children in orphanages and can be developed as an alternative therapeutic approach in education and social guidance.
