Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of Dormitory Mentor Teachers in shaping the disciplinary character of fifth-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma’had Al-Zaytun. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects consisted of dormitory mentor teachers and fifth-grade students selected purposively. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that dormitory mentor teachers act as role models, guides, directors, and controllers in instilling student discipline through habituation, exemplary behavior, and continuous supervision. Supporting factors include students’ awareness, an orderly dormitory environment, and teacher collaboration, while inhibiting factors are differences in student characteristics and lack of supervision outside dormitory hours. Thus, dormitory mentor teachers play an essential role in shaping students’ disciplinary character through consistent modeling and guidance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas program pendampingan dan iklim sekolah terhadap sikap keagamaan siswa di SMA PU Al Bayan Cendekia Cianjur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional untuk menganalisis pengaruh kegiatan pendampingan dan lingkungan sekolah terhadap religiusitas siswa. Data dikumpulkan dari 40 siswa melalui kuesioner berdasarkan indikator yang telah divalidasi untuk setiap variabel: kualitas dan konsistensi pendampingan, hubungan interpersonal dan dukungan sekolah terhadap kegiatan keagamaan, dan dimensi keimanan, ibadah, moralitas, dan praktik sosial siswa. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda melalui SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program pendampingan (X₁) dan iklim sekolah (X₂) memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap sikap keagamaan siswa (Y), baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun secara simultan. Variabel pendampingan menunjukkan kontribusi yang lebih kuat (β = 0,723, Sig. = 0,000) dibandingkan dengan iklim sekolah (β = 0,348, Sig. = 0,003), sementara uji simultan menghasilkan nilai R² sebesar 0,992, yang menunjukkan bahwa 99,2% sikap keagamaan siswa dijelaskan oleh kedua faktor tersebut. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa program pendampingan yang efektif, didukung oleh iklim sekolah yang kondusif dan berorientasi keagamaan, secara signifikan meningkatkan keimanan, praktik ibadah, dan perilaku moral siswa. Studi ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya mengintegrasikan program pendampingan terstruktur dengan iklim sekolah yang positif sebagai model strategis untuk memperkuat pendidikan karakter keagamaan di sekolah menengah.

Abstract

This study is a library research employing a qualitative-descriptive approach to examine the role of applied linguistics in the development of Arabic language skills, which include listening (istima’), speaking (kalam), reading (qira’ah), and writing (kitabah). Applied linguistics serves as a bridge between linguistic theory and language teaching practice, providing methodological guidance for educators in designing effective and contextual learning strategies. The findings indicate that the integration of applied linguistics contributes to improving phonological awareness, structural accuracy, semantic comprehension, and pragmatic appropriateness in Arabic language learning. Specifically, phonetic and phonological insights enhance listening skills; syntactic and pragmatic understanding support speaking fluency; semantic and discourse analysis strengthen reading comprehension; and cohesion and coherence theory improve writing ability. Thus, applied linguistics plays a fundamental role in promoting both linguistic accuracy and communicative competence in Arabic language education.

Abstract

Writing Javanese script is an important thing for students because it is a form of increasing a sense of love for the nation's culture and also to implement a sense of holding Javanese culture which is now increasingly fading and being forgotten by the current generation. The purpose of the study was to describe the profile of Javanese script writing skills of students at MI Ma`arif NU Karangsari and to describe the supporting and inhibiting factors of Javanese script writing skills of students at MI Ma`arif NU Karangsari. This study was a qualitative study. The Javanese Script Writing Skills studied were teachers and students of class IV A. The method used was the field research method. Data collection techniques were in the form of observation, interviews, documentation and tests. Data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions and verification. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that Javanese script writing skills at MI M`arif NU Karangsari are still low or below the Minimum Completion Criteria.

Abstract

Pancasila Education plays a crucial role in shaping national character and strengthening the national identity of students from an early age. However, learning activities in elementary schools remain largely rote-based and monotonous, making it difficult for students to understand and remember important events and figures in the history of Pancasila formulation. This study aims to improve students’ memory retention and learning outcomes through the implementation of the Memory Game as an instructional medium in the topic History of Pancasila Formulation for fourth-grade students. The research employs a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method using a mixed-methods approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative data. Data collection techniques include observation, teacher interviews, documentation, and learning achievement tests (pre-test and post-test). The results of the study show that the use of the Memory Game increased the students’ average scores from 42.6 to 84.4, with 88.9% of students achieving mastery learning. Students appeared more enthusiastic, active, and capable of recalling the names and roles of the Panitia Sembilan (Committee of Nine) members more easily. These findings demonstrate that game-based learning is effective in strengthening visual memory and enhancing students’ learning motivation. The study reinforces the principles of active learning and constructivism, while practically offering an innovative media alternative aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum framework. It is recommended that future research develop an interactive digital version of the Memory Game to enable broader and more sustainable application.

Abstract

Rendahnya minat baca siswa sekolah dasar menjadi tantangan serius dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas literasi sejak dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan media buku cerita bergambar di pojok baca dapat meningkatkan minat baca siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar serta mengidentifikasi hambatan yang muncul dalam pelaksanaannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus, yang dilaksanakan di SDN 2 Selajambe, Kecamatan Cisaat, Kabupaten Sukabumi. Subjek penelitian meliputi 33 siswa kelas III dan guru kelas III sebagai informan utama. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi buku cerita bergambar dengan pojok baca dapat meningkatkan ketertarikan, frekuensi, serta pemahaman siswa terhadap bacaan. Selain itu, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi guru dan sekolah dalam merancang strategi literasi yang kreatif, menarik, dan menyenangkan guna menumbuhkan budaya membaca sejak dini. Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of basic computer introduction activities in improving digital literacy among students of SD Inpres 12/79 Bonepute. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, documentation, and limited observation of basic computer learning activities. The researcher applied data analysis procedures consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the basic computer introduction activities at SD Inpres 12/79 Bonepute were implemented through several programs, namely: 1. introducing computer hardware and its functions, 2. introducing basic software such as operating systems and Microsoft Word, 3. introducing a brief history of computer development, and 4. hands-on practice using computers for simple typing activities. The implementation of this program has had a positive impact on improving students' technological skills, as they have begun to get accustomed to using computers as a learning tool, gained a basic understanding of computer functions, and shown high enthusiasm in utilizing technology as part of the learning process.

Abstract

Tari Rudat, tarian Islam tradisional dari Lombok Utara (KLU), merupakan artefak budaya yang unik memadukan gerakan bela diri dengan lantunan religius (shalawat). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali nilai-nilai moral (akhlak) yang tertanam dalam tradisi Tari Rudat dan menganalisis potensinya sebagai media pendidikan karakter. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi literatur dan analisis konten terhadap elemen-elemen semiotiknya, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi beberapa prinsip moral inti: disiplin, kolektivitas (ukhuwah), kerendahan hati (tawadhu), dan pengabdian (dzikr). Gerakan ritmis, yang sering dilakukan oleh kelompok laki-laki dalam formasi serempak, melambangkan persatuan dan kepatuhan pada prinsip-prinsip agama. Lebih lanjut, musik dan puisi pengiringnya, yang terutama berisi doa dan pujian kepada Nabi Muhammad, berfungsi sebagai sumber bimbingan spiritual dan moral yang berkelanjutan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa Tari Rudat bukan sekadar pertunjukan seni, tetapi sistem budaya hidup yang secara aktif mentransmisikan karakter moral Islam, menawarkan sumber yang berharga, terlokalisasi, dan kaya konteks untuk penguatan pendidikan akhlak di masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui pola asuh orang tua di Gugus Nogotirto, (2) Mengetahui tingkat kedisiplinan di Gugus Nogotirto, (3) Mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh orang tua terhadap kedisiplinan siswa kelas V se-Gugus Nogotirto. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif survey. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V di Sekolah Dasar Negeri se-Gugus Nogotirto yang berjumlah 143 siswa. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu 105 siswa kelas V di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Se-Gugus Nogotirto yang dihitung menggunakan rumus slovin. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner atau angket. Kemudian untuk teknik pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan, (1) 55% orang tua siswa kelas V se-Gugus Nogotirto berada dalam kategoti pola asuh demokratis, (2) 63% kedisiplinan siswa kelas V se-Gugus Nogotirto berada dalam kategori tinggi, (3) Terdapat pengaruh pola asuh orang tua terhadap kedisiplinan siswa kelas V se-Gugus Nogotirto. Hal tersebut dilihat dari nilai signifikansi (Sig.) 0,000 < 0,05. Besarnya pengaruh pola asuh orang tua terhadap kedisiplinan siswa kelas V se-Gugus Nogotirto dapat dilihat pada nilai R Square yaitu 0,358 atau 35,8%.

Abstract

This research was motivated by variations in elementary school teachers’ selfefficacy in teaching science, which affect the quality of learning. The study aimed to examine the influence of Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) on teachers’ selfefficacy in Metro Barat District. A quantitative approach with an ex post facto design was employed. The population consisted of all elementary school teachers in the district, with a purposive sample of 101 teachers. Data were collected using PCK and teacher self-efficacy questionnaires comprising 34 validated and reliable statements. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The findings revealed that PCK had a positive and significant effect on teachers’ selfefficacy, with a contribution of 82.5%. This result implies that higher mastery of PCK strengthens teachers’ self-efficacy in managing and implementing science instruction effectively.
