Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to evaluate and analyze innovations in the development of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum in schools and madrasahs, focusing on the implementation perspective, curriculum concepts, and student literacy development. The background of this research is the need for an adaptive, relevant, and innovative PAI curriculum to address modern educational developments. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data through semi-structured interviews with teachers and school principals, classroom observations, and curriculum and teaching material documentation. Data were analyzed thematically, including data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing, and triangulation to ensure the validity of findings. The results indicate that the current PAI curriculum has several strengths in supporting religious literacy learning but still requires innovation in technology integration, creative teaching methods, and adaptation to local contexts. The study emphasizes the importance of developing students’ digital and religious literacy as part of an effective curriculum innovation. In conclusion, continuous evaluation and innovation of the PAI curriculum are essential to make learning more adaptive, creative, and relevant to the needs of students in the modern era. Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan menganalisis inovasi pengembangan kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di sekolah dan madrasah, dengan fokus pada perspektif pelaksanaan, konsep kurikulum, dan pengembangan literasi peserta didik. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah kebutuhan akan kurikulum PAI yang adaptif, relevan, dan inovatif dalam menghadapi perkembangan pendidikan modern. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan guru dan kepala sekolah, observasi pembelajaran, serta studi dokumentasi kurikulum dan bahan ajar. Analisis data dilakukan secara tematik, meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan triangulasi untuk memastikan validitas temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum PAI yang diterapkan saat ini memiliki sejumlah keunggulan dalam mendukung pembelajaran literasi keagamaan, namun masih memerlukan inovasi dalam integrasi teknologi, metode pembelajaran kreatif, dan penyesuaian dengan konteks lokal. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pengembangan literasi digital dan keagamaan peserta didik sebagai bagian dari inovasi kurikulum yang efektif. Kesimpulannya, evaluasi dan inovasi kurikulum PAI harus terus dilakukan agar pembelajaran lebih adaptif, kreatif, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik di era modern. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing Achievement Motivation among members of the Islamic Students Association (HMI) at the University of Palangka Raya for the 2025/2026 period. Achievement motivation is viewed as a fundamental drive for students in achieving personal and professional success. HMI, as a cadre-based and learning organization, plays a crucial role in shaping leaders with integrity (Good Governance) and a strong sense of responsibility to realize a just and prosperous society in harmony with Islamic and Indonesian values.This study adopts a quantitative approach using a population survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires based on the Likert Scale from all HMI members at the University of Palangka Raya, class of 2025/2026. Descriptive analysis results show that the overall Achievement Motivation of HMI members at the University of Palangka Raya falls into the high category.This strong level of motivation is reflected in the high level of agreement across six measured factors. The factor with the highest percentage is Risk Consideration (94% strongly agree and agree), indicating mature thinking in selecting challenging tasks. Other strong factors include high awareness of Task Completion Time (85.6%) and Responsibility (75%). On the other hand, the Feedback Awareness factor shows the lowest percentage of agreement (65.3%) compared to other factors.

Abstract

This study maps the state of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics education from 1 January 2021 to 16 October 2025 by synthesizing research on instructional media, learning outcomes, and assessment practices. The objective is to identify dominant trends, gaps, and implications to guide classroom innovation and evaluation. Articles were located in Scopus, Google Scholar, and Crossref and screened using a process modeled on PRISMA. From 1,375 records, 168 met the inclusion criteria after duplicate removal, relevance screening, and full-text checks focused on classroom practice, media integration, and outcome measurement. Methods combined a systematic review with bibliometric mapping of annual output, venues, co-authorship, keyword co-occurrence, and methodological features. Results show steady growth, peaking in 2024, and five clusters: primary education, media development and validation, learning-outcome testing, analytical approaches, and digital engagement. Quantitative achievement testing remains prevalent, while formative and performance-based assessments and measures of digital literacy and higher-order thinking gain momentum. The review concludes that enhanced technology, student-centered designs are reshaping practice and recommends media-rich tasks, clear rubrics, and longitudinal, comparable assessment frameworks. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study was conducted at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Kota Bandung due to the low level of students’ critical thinking skills in Indonesian language learning. Based on the End-of-Semester Summative Assessment, only 61.11% of fifth-grade students met the Learning Objectives Mastery Criteria (KKTP), while 38.89% had not yet reached the standard. This indicates the need for a more effective learning strategy. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model in improving students’ critical thinking skills. The research focused on students’ initial abilities, model implementation, changes in learning outcomes, and comparisons between the experimental and control classes. The study employed a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The experimental class was taught using the CIRC model, while the control class used Direct Instruction. Data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation. The pretest results showed similar initial abilities, with average scores of 31 in the experimental class and 33 in the control class. The Mann-Whitney test showed a significance value of 0.583, indicating no significant difference. After the intervention, the experimental class’s posttest average increased to 86, while the control class reached 59. The independent sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.0001, proving a significant difference. The experimental class achieved an N-Gain of 0.81 (high category), higher than the control class’s 0.40 (moderate category). These findings confirm that the CIRC model effectively improves students’ critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This research is focused on three main objectives, namely: 1) tracing the understanding regarding the meaning of tolerance in national and state life, 2) elaborating the essence as well as the purpose of multicultural education, and 3) evaluating the role of multicultural education in shaping tolerant character. The approach used was qualitative with literature study method. The research data was obtained from diverse literature sources, then analyzed using hermeneutic methods. The results of the study show that: 1) tolerance is a fundamental aspect to maintain the harmony of national life amidst the diversity of society. A tolerant attitude is necessary to realize peace as well as harmony in the face of differences; 2) multicultural education is very relevant for Indonesian society, especially the younger generation through formal education, given that the Indonesian nation has a complex character. This education serves to open insights so that society can accept diversity as something natural, thus enabling mutual respect and maintaining coexistence; 3) the application of multicultural education can be integrated into various subjects or lectures, such as citizenship education, Islamic religious education, and other fields. The role of educators is very important in inculcating the value of tolerance through multicultural education, by utilizing digital technologies such as the internet and online platforms combined with appropriate learning methods and media. It facilitates learners to understand the concept of tolerance as well as apply it in social, national and state life. In addition, both teachers and lecturers are expected to have comprehensive competencies, covering pedagogical, professional, personality, and social skills.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education and Character Education (PAI-BP) serves as the primary vehicle for internalizing Quranic values, ensuring they are embedded in students' attitudes, speech, and behavior. This internalization occurs not only through classroom learning activities but also through various religious practices that occur throughout school life. This research focuses on the synergy between PAI-BP learning and religious practice activities such as Dhuha prayer and Dzuhur prayer in congregation, short Quranic recitation sessions, Quranic recitation attendance records at each PAI-BP meeting, and guidance and counseling sessions directly involving PAI teachers. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with PAI-BP teachers and students of SD Negeri 1 Jatilawang as subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions were drawn. The results indicate that PAI-BP learning plays a strategic role in shaping students' Quranic character through two main channels: structured classroom learning and religious practice activities within the school environment. Values ​​such as ṣidq (honesty), amanah (responsibility), istiqamah (discipline), and rahmah (compassion) are internalized through teacher role models, routine worship, and consistent religious guidance utilizing social media and digital applications. Islamic Religious Education (PAI-BP) teachers serve not only as instructors but also as role models and spiritual guides for students. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak penggunaan gadget terhadap kemampuan konsentrasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan melibatkan siswa kelas V sebagai responden. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner dan observasi perilaku belajar siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi intensitas penggunaan gadget yang bersifat non-edukatif, maka semakin rendah kemampuan konsentrasi belajar siswa. Siswa yang menggunakan gadget lebih dari dua jam per hari memiliki tingkat fokus yang lebih rendah dibandingkan siswa yang menggunakan gadget kurang dari satu jam. Dengan demikian, penggunaan gadget perlu diarahkan secara terkontrol dan diawasi oleh orang tua serta guru agar teknologi dapat dimanfaatkan secara positif sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas fokus belajar siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of smartphone use on the reading frequency of fifth-grade students at SDN Semangat Dalam 3. The method used is quantitative correlational with a population of 24 students. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using Spearman's rank correlation test. The results showed that the average smartphone usage score was in the medium-high category, while reading frequency was low. The correlation test showed a significant negative relationship (rₛ = −0.40, p = 0.05), which means that the higher the intensity of smartphone usage, the lower the students' reading frequency. These findings were supported by teacher interviews, which revealed that smartphones were used more for entertainment, thereby affecting reading interest. The study highlights the important role of teachers and parents in balancing technology use with literacy habits in order to increase children's reading interest.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi program Parent-Led Class di TK Sekolahku My School dan dampaknya dalam membangun interaksi positif dan kolaborasi efektif dalam pembelajaran anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi terstruktur, wawancara mendalam dengan orang tua yang terlibat dalam program. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru kelas, orang tua peserta program Parent-Led Class , dan 25 siswa di Puntodewo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program Parent-Led Class diimplementasikan secara sistematis dan efektif dalam membangun interaksi positif antara orang tua, guru, dan anak. Orang tua terlibat aktif sebagai fasilitator pembelajaran dengan membagikan pengetahuan sesuai bidang keahlian mereka. Kolaborasi efektif terwujud melalui perencanaan bersama, pembagian peran yang jelas, dan dukungan berkelanjutan dari guru. Program ini memberikan manfaat yang signifikan bagi semua pihak: anak menjadi lebih termotivasi dan mendapat pengalaman belajar yang beragam, orang tua lebih memahami proses pembelajaran dan perkembangan anak, guru mendapat dukungan dalam memperkaya metode pembelajaran, dan sekolah membangun komunitas yang kuat dan kolaboratif. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan konsistensi pelaksanaan, program ini dapat menjadi model inovatif keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan anak usia dini yang dapat diterapkan di lembaga PAUD lainnya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan melalui kemitraan yang kuat antara sekolah dan keluarga.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) and ISO quality management models in educational management. The main focus is on how TQM and ISO principles can be integrated to enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of educational services in formal educational institutions. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach through document analysis, interviews, and observations of quality management practices in selected schools and universities. The findings indicate that the application of TQM and ISO significantly contributes to improving quality culture, teacher professionalism, and student satisfaction. However, the success of implementation largely depends on leadership commitment, stakeholder involvement, and the sustainability of evaluation and quality improvement programs. The study concludes that the synergy between TQM and ISO provides an effective strategy for developing a standardized, adaptive, and continuously improving educational management system.
