Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using Art-Based Learning (ABL)-based video tutorials in dance learning through a literature review approach. Limited practice time and students’ difficulties in understanding and memorizing dance movement sequences pose challenges in the process of dance education in schools. Video tutorials are considered a learning medium that can provide flexible, engaging, and contextual learning experiences, while the ABL approach emphasizes artistic experiences that encourage reflection, imagination, and creativity among students. The research method employed is a literature review, involving the examination of various scientific articles, books, and relevant research reports. The review procedure includes topic selection, literature search, analysis and synthesis of previous research findings, and systematic presentation of results. The findings indicate that ABL-based video tutorials are effective in improving movement technique skills, understanding aesthetic values, and enhancing appreciation of dance culture. Furthermore, the application of ABL through digital media provides opportunities for students to learn independently, create, and internalize artistic values through personal experiences. Therefore, ABL-based video tutorials represent a potential learning medium to strengthen dance education in the digital era

Permasalahan sampah rumah tangga di Desa Tebba, masih menjadi tantangan utama yang berdampak terhadap terhadap kualitas lingkungan yang buruk sehingga berdampak. Kondisi ini menunjukkan bahwa kesadaran masyarakat terkait pentingnya pengelolaan sampah masih perlu ditingkatkan. Untuk menjawab persoalan tersebut, mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Universitas Muhammadiyah Bone Angkatan V menghadirkan solusi berupa program pengelolaan sampah yang berfokus pada peningkatan kepedulian masyarakat terhadap lingkungan. Program ini dilaksanakan dengan metode pendekatan partisipatif, yang melibatkan peran aktif masyarakat melalui strategi edukasi mengenai dampak sampah, sosialisasi dalam bentuk diskusi dan kampanye lingkungan, serta praktik langsung pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pentingnya memilah dan mengurangi sampah, serta tumbuhnya inisiatif warga untuk melanjutkan program secara mandiri. Dengan demikian, kegiatan KKN terbukti efektif dalam membangun sinergi antara mahasiswa dan masyarakat, sekaligus menjadi langkah nyata menuju terciptanya lingkungan desa yang lebih bersih, sehat, dan berkelanjutan.

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menguraikan penerapan media pembelajaran yang didasarkan pada video animasi berjudul "Gaya di Sekitar Kita" dari kanal YouTube Masniari Alhaffhy, dengan tujuan meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas IV di Sekolah Alam Muara Bungo dalam mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS). Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan melibatkan 29 siswa sebagai subjek. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa pemanfaatan video animasi berhasil menarik perhatian siswa dan memperkuat partisipasi mereka selama proses pembelajaran. Siswa menunjukkan peningkatan fokus saat video diputar dan aktif mengajukan pertanyaan selama sesi diskusi yang dipimpin guru. Selain itu, media video animasi ini memfasilitasi pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep gaya yang bersifat abstrak menjadi lebih konkret dan menarik. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi efektif dalam memperkuat minat belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPAS.

Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang model pembelajaran SIBALIPARRIQ sebagai inovasi berbasis kearifan lokal Mandar untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa pada pendidikan abad ke-21. Model ini dikembangkan berdasarkan nilai-nilai budaya seperti solidaritas, amanah, loyalitas, respect, dan inklusivitas yang selaras dengan prinsip pembelajaran kolaboratif modern. Kajian dilakukan melalui pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode tinjauan pustaka sistematis terhadap berbagai sumber ilmiah nasional dan internasional yang membahas pendidikan berbasis budaya, kolaborasi, dan keterampilan abad ke-21. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai budaya lokal dalam pembelajaran dapat memperkuat keterampilan kolaborasi, empati sosial, dan tanggung jawab peserta didik. Model pembelajaran SIBALIPARRIQ menawarkan kerangka konseptual yang menghubungkan identitas budaya dengan tujuan pendidikan modern, sehingga menjadi dasar kontekstual bagi pembelajaran kolaboratif yang berkelanjutan.

This study aims to examine the essence, basic principles, and foundations of developing the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum within the context of contemporary education. The development of the PAI curriculum plays a crucial role in shaping students who possess strong faith, good morals, and the ability to face the challenges of the time without abandoning Islamic values. From a theoretical perspective, this research is based on the assumption that the PAI curriculum not only focuses on conveying religious knowledge but also on the internalization of spiritual and moral values throughout the entire learning process. The method employed is qualitative research with a library research approach, through the analysis of various academic literature sources, textbooks, and relevant national education regulations. The findings reveal that the essence of PAI curriculum development lies in the effort to integrate divine values with the social and contextual needs of students. Its principles emphasize a balance between aspects of faith, worship, and morality, as well as its relevance to advances in science and technology. The foundations of curriculum development encompass philosophical, psychological, sociological, and theological aspects that are interconnected in determining the direction and objectives of Islamic education. These findings imply the need for a curriculum design that can adapt to social changes without disregarding transcendental Islamic values. This study recommends that future research adopt an empirical approach involving education practitioners to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing these principles in the real world, thereby making PAI curriculum development more contextual, innovative, and effective in holistically shaping students' character.

This study aims to describe the representation of the values of inquiry and openmindedness in the Unit of Inquiry (UOI) learning among grade 2 and grade 3 students in an elementary school implementing the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method with data collected through observation, interviews with classroom teachers, and documentation of students’ UOI products. The findings show that UOI learning provides meaningful opportunities for students to develop curiosity, conduct investigations, and build conceptual understanding through inquiry activities. The value of inquiry was manifested in students’ ability to ask questions, explore ideas, and reflect on their findings, while the value of open-mindedness appeared in their willingness to listen to others, accept diverse perspectives, and cooperate in group discussions. The representation of both values developed gradually in accordance with the students’ cognitive levels—grade 2 students showed more concrete inquiry behavior, whereas grade 3 students demonstrated more abstract and reflective thinking. UOI learning also encouraged students to integrate knowledge across disciplines and apply it in real-life contexts, proving that the IB curriculum effectively supports character and critical thinking development through transdisciplinary inquiry.

Indonesia is a country that upholds law based on Pancasila, which serves as the foundation for building a spirit of nationalism and statehood based on Pancasila values. The concept of the Indonesian rule of law is based on the legal ideals of Rechtsidee Pancasila (Article 1 paragraph (3) of the 1945 Constitution). Law also serves as a tool of social control. This study aims to determine the implementation of Pancasila values in the judicial system at the Makassar District Court. This study used qualitative research methods. The results indicate that Pancasila values have become a guideline in carrying out duties at the Makassar District Court, but their implementation has not been optimal due to the high workload and a lack of in-depth understanding of Pancasila values. The implementation of Pancasila values is influenced by internal factors such as morality, integrity, and professionalism, as well as external factors such as social pressure, caseloads, and a formalistic legal system. The implementation of Pancasila values has had a positive impact on increasing justice and public trust in the judiciary. However, this impact has not been optimal due to ongoing constraints on the legal structure and high caseloads. The research recommends that judges, clerks, and staff need to improve their understanding and internalization of Pancasila values through ongoing training and ethical development, as well as strengthening integrity and professionalism so that the implementation of Pancasila values within the judiciary can be effective and consistent.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan dryland circuit terhadap peningkatan kecepatan renang gaya bebas pada perenang di Club Belajar Renang Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah sepuluh orang perenang berusia 17-20 tahun yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen yang diberikan latihan dryland circuit dan kelompok kontrol yang mengikuti latihan renang rutin tanpa perlakuan tambahan. Data kecepatan renang diperoleh melalui tes renang gaya bebas sejauh 50 meter yang dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah program latihan selama 16 pertemuan. Hasil analisis uji-t menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan kecepatan yang signifikan, dengan penurunan rata-rata waktu dari 35,90 detik menjadi 30,80 detik (thitung = 12,726 > ttabel = 2,776; α = 0,05). Sementara itu, kelompok kontrol tidak menunjukkan perubahan yang berarti. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa latihan dryland circuit efektif dalam meningkatkan kecepatan renang gaya bebas melalui peningkatan kekuatan, daya tahan, dan koordinasi otot. Dengan demikian, latihan ini dapat dijadikan alternatif latihan efektif bagi pelatih untuk meningkatkan performa atlet, khususnya ketika kolam renang tidak dapat digunakan.

Special Effect Make Up (SFX Makeup) learning is one of the fields within artistic makeup studies that possesses a multidimensional character. The learning process is not only oriented toward mastering technical skills but also involves artistic exploration, the use of technology, and the understanding of aesthetic meanings within cultural and performance contexts. This study aims to identify and synthesize various scholarly perspectives related to SFX Makeup learning strategies through the Art-Based Learning approach using the Project-Based Learning model, in order to formulate a more comprehensive conceptual learning framework. The method employed is qualitative descriptive and literature review, involving five relevant scientific articles discussing topics such as artistic makeup design adaptation, the effectiveness of video tutorial media, innovations in web-based learning media, and the aesthetic exploration of makeup in performance art. The synthesis results indicate that SFX Makeup learning is effective when it integrates four main aspects: (1) artistic and symbolic exploration, (2) pedagogical innovation through interactive learning media, (3) utilization of digital technology for independent learning, and (4) understanding of aesthetics and representational functions within performance contexts. The study concludes that the Art-Based Learning approach is highly relevant to SFX Makeup education as it emphasizes processes of creation, exploration, reflection, and appreciation of artistic works. This approach is expected to cultivate learners who are creative, adaptive, aesthetic, and professionally competent in the field of artistic makeup

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media stand upcomedy terhadap kemampuan menulis teks anekdot pada siswa MTs Mattiro Deceng, serta untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penerapan media tersebut dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media stand up comedy berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan menulis teks anekdot siswa. Siswa mampu memahami struktur, ciri, serta fungsi teks anekdot dengan lebih baik melalui tayangan stand up comedy. Selain itu, respon siswa terhadap penggunaan media ini sangat baik, ditandai dengan meningkatnya partisipasi, motivasi, dan antusiasme dalam proses pembelajaran menulis. Dengan demikian, media stand up comedy efektif dijadikan alternatif media pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks anekdot disekolah menengah pertama.
