Abstract

Forward roll is part of the floor gymnastics movement that must be mastered by students during the learning process. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to improve the forward roll movement by implementing differentiated learning based on learning needs and implementing modifications to learning media in the form of inclined plane mats. This study applies the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, with the research subjects being 27 students of grade IV ilingual Elementary school Laboratory University Of Malang. Observation and testing are the main techniques in the data collection process. The instrument used is an assessment rubric on the skill/psychomotor aspect in forward rolls. The analysis technique uses descriptive statistics with a percentage formula. The results of the classroom action research in cycle I showed that 16 students or 59% completed, and in cycle II showed that 25 students or 93% were declared complete in the psychomotor domain. So it can be concluded that the application of differentiated learning based on needs and the use of media modifications in the form of inclined plane mats can improve learning outcomes in the form of forward roll abilities through cycle II (two).

Abstract

This study aims to identify and map the factors that influence the perception of sports coach performance based on published research results. The research design used is a scoping review, which allows researchers to explore key concepts and existing empirical evidence, while identifying gaps in the literature. The literature was obtained through a systematic search in the PubMed, Scopus, ProQuest, and Google Scholar databases, with keywords such as "coach performance", "perception", "sports coach", and "factors influencing". The articles analyzed were limited to publications in 2020–2024, in English, open access and were scientific articles. The results of this study found 8 articles, showing that the perception of coach performance is influenced by various factors such as leadership style, technical competence, coach personality, quality of coach-athlete relationship, communication strategy, and collaboration with the performance support team. A transformative and communicative leadership style, positive interpersonal relationships, and proper training planning have been shown to increase athletes' positive perceptions of coaches. These findings emphasize the importance of a holistic approach to evaluating coach performance, which includes technical, social, and emotional skills. This research is expected to be the basis for developing more effective sports coaches that are oriented towards the welfare and performance of athletes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the learning outcomes of Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) of grade VIII junior high school 1 Sungai Tabuk Banjar Regency and the level of physical fitness. This study combines a correlational strategy with a quantitative approach. Using a simple random selection method, a sample of 30 students was selected from a population of 90 students. The Indonesian Physical Fitness Test (TKJI) is used to measure the level of physical fitness of students aged 13 to 15 years, and the results of odd semester report cards are used to collect data on PJOK learning outcomes. Because the PJOK learning achievement data is not normally distributed, the normality test and the Spearman's rho nonparametric correlation test were used to analyze the data. The results showed that although the good group (83%) dominated PJOK's academic achievement, most of the students' physical fitness levels were in the moderate (43%) and poor (47%) categories. Physical fitness levels and PJOK learning outcomes had a strong and substantial positive relationship, according to the findings of the Spearman correlation test, which showed a coefficient value of 0.710 with a significance level of 0.000. According to these results, students are more likely to obtain the best PJOK learning outcomes if they are fitter.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of using audio media in rhythmical movement learning for 6th-grade students at State Elementary School 1 Guntung Manggis. The study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with instruments consisting of knowledge questionnaires and rhythmic movement skill assessment sheets. The results indicate a variation in students' abilities across several key aspects. In the self-assessment aspect, 50% of students fall into the very high category, making it the highest percentage among all measured aspects. In the movement coordination aspect, only 30% of students are in the very high category, whereas 40% of students are in the low category, indicating ongoing challenges in developing motor skills. For the aspect of rhythm accuracy, 33% of students are in the high category and 27% in the very high category, while 23% of students are in the insufficient category and 17% in the very insufficient category. Meanwhile, in the aspect of understanding movement concepts, the majority of students showed good results, with 37% in the very high category and 33% in the high category. These findings indicate that the use of audio media is effective in improving students' understanding and creativity, particularly in the aspects of self-assessment and understanding movement concepts. However, the aspects of movement coordination and rhythm accuracy still require more varied learning strategies and continuous practice so that students' learning outcomes can be more optimal and equitable across all aspects.

Abstract

Shooting requires a high level of concentration and balance of the body to maintain accuracy and stability when aiming at the target. Good balance is an important factor because athletes must maintain a fixed position for a long time. This study aims to analyze the effect of core training on the balance of shooting athletes in Banjarbaru City. The method used was pre-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study is shooting athletes in the city of Banjarbaru which consists of 20 athletes. The sample in this study uses the total sampling technique, which uses the entire population. The sample of this study was divided into two groups, namely the treatment group that was given core training and the control group that underwent regular physical exercise. The instrument used is the standing stork test to measure balance. The results of the data analysis showed that the data was distributed normally and homogeneously. The paired t-test showed significant results (p < 0.05), indicates the influence of core training on balance that has never been applied to shooting athletes in the city of Banjarbaru.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of basic volleyball smash skills among male athletes of the Club Tidar Sakti Sampit, in terms of target accuracy and execution time. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive approach with field test survey techniques. The sample consists of 12 male athletes, and data were collected using the Brady Test instrument to objectively measure accuracy and time of the smash. The results of the study indicate that the smash skills of the athletes are in a varied category. In terms of accuracy, the majority of athletes fall into the "sufficient" category (33.33%) and the "good" category (25%). Meanwhile, regarding the timing aspect, most athletes are categorized as "sufficient" (50%) and "good" (33.33%). These results indicate that the smash skills of the athletes are still uneven and require improvement, particularly in terms of technique consistency and movement efficiency. This study concludes that structured and focused basic smash technique training is essential to enhance the quality of athletes' performance, and it can serve as a reference in designing more effective coaching programs at the local club level.
