Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the role of parents in the socio-emotional formation of early childhood. Early childhood is often called the golden age, meaning that this age will determine what students' development will be like in the future. Discussing this, parents are the closest people to children, so of course it can be said that children's development reflects the parenting style provided by their parents. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a literature review method by summarizing the results of studies that are relevant to the research topic using the traditional review method. The results of this research are the role of parents in shaping children's social and emotional character. Parental anxiety and self-esteem can influence a child's personality. Parents must pay attention to this to form good children. Education provided by parents and the surrounding environment is important for developing children's potential, especially socially and emotionally. Parents become educators, caregivers, motivators and examples, forming children's values towards the environment. Parents and teachers need to build interaction and communication with children so that children can manage their emotions well. Children should be educated in a positive environment for a positive attitude. Every child is unique, the role of parents and teachers is important to direct and guide children in managing emotions. Parents play a significant role in forming the social and emotional character of early childhood, determining positive or negative child development based on the education provided.

Abstract

Tulisan ini menjelaskan bermaknanya kurikulum sesuai dengan maknanya yaitu kurikulum merupakan suatu konsep pembelajaran yang bermakna karna tidak hanya terpaku pada proses belajar mengajar tentang kognitif saja dan juga tidak hanya dalam satu mata pelajaran tetapi disitu adanya penggabugan mata pelajaran dan dalam proses pembelajaran juga menyangkut kedalam tiga aspek yaitu tentang kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik. Didalam kurikulum tematik untuk SD/MI memiliki ruang lingkup yang secara garis besar tidak berbeda dengan kurikulum-kurikulum lainnya yang selama ini telah diterapkan di sekolah-sekolah diantaranya: 1) Pendidikan agama, 2) Bahasa Indonesia, 3) Matematika, 4) Ilmu pengetahuan alam (IPA), 5) pendidikan kewarganegaraan (PKn), 6) Ilmu engetahuan osial (IPS), 7) Seni budaya dan keterampilan (SBK), 8) Pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan (PJOK), 9) Mutan lokal dan 10) Pengembangan diri. Kurikulum 2013 merupakan kurikulum tebaru yang diterapkan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar di negara kita dewasa ini. Kurikulum 2013 bertujuan memberikan ilmu pengetahuan secara utuh kepada siswa dan tidak terpecah-pecah. Kurikulum ini menekankan pada keaktifan siswa untuk menemukan konsep pelajaran dengan guru berperan sebagai fasilitator

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the waste management process at MI Nurul Qur'an Pagutan and its influence on improving students' ecological understanding. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research with a phenomenological approach, which observes waste management practices in schools and their influence on students' environmental awareness. Data were collected through participatory observation, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation related to waste management policies and activities at the madrasah. The results of the study indicate that the waste management program at MI Nurul Qur'an has succeeded in forming positive habits among students, such as disposing of waste in its place and maintaining the cleanliness of the school environment. This program not only aims for cleanliness, but also to instill ecological values and environmental responsibility in students. However, there are obstacles that reduce the effectiveness of the program, such as the lack of student discipline in sorting waste and limited supporting facilities, such as trash bins and recycling facilities. In addition, students' ecological understanding still needs to be improved, especially in connecting theoretical knowledge with daily practice. This study suggests that schools should integrate more project-based practical activities in ecology learning to deepen students' understanding of environmental issues, as well as improve facilities and involve experts in waste management to support the sustainability of the program.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology in the 21st century has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including education. Primary school children, who are growing up in the digital era, face new challenges in managing information access and social interactions, which also influence their moral development. Phenomena such as cyberbullying and the spread of fake news add complexity to these issues. Therefore, character education that integrates moral values into digital interactions becomes crucial. This study aims to explore how character education can be adapted within the digital era to address the moral challenges children face. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive literature review. Data was collected from various sources, including journals, books, and articles relevant to the topic of character education and technology, with publication years limited to between 2016 and 2024. The findings show that the main challenge in character education in the digital age is the lack of curriculum integration that aligns with technological advancements. Furthermore, many educators and parents lack the knowledge and skills necessary to teach character values in a digital context. However, there are opportunities to use technology as a tool to strengthen character education, such as through educational apps and digital platforms. This research recommends updating the curriculum to include digital skills and online ethics, as well as providing ongoing training for educators and support for parents to enhance the effectiveness of character education in the digital age.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis integrasi antara sistem pendidikan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) dan pendidikan umum dalam konteks sistem pendidikan nasional di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan (library research), yaitu metode yang memanfaatkan berbagai sumber literatur untuk mengumpulkan data dan informasi yang relevan dengan topik yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan integrasi sistem pendidikan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) dengan pendidikan umum dapat mendukung tercapainya tujuan sistem pendidikan nasional, sebab sistem pendidikan Islam dan sistem pendidikan umum tidak bisa dipisahkan karena dua sistem ini memang saling berhubungan, oleh karenanya sistem pendidikan Islam pada Madrasah Ibtidaiyah dan sistem pendidikan umum harus terkoneksi secara kodifikatif supaya terciptanya sistem pendidikan yang saling melengkapi dan saling menyempurnakan guna menjadikan pendidikan di Indonesia yang lebih bermutu tanpa mandang bulu dalam konteks ilmu. Pasalnya, perhari ini pendidikan itu malah mendikotomikan keilmuan, yakni membeda-bedakan antara pendidikan Islam yang notabenenya ilmu agama dan pendidikan umum yang notabenenya ilmu dunia. Padahal pendidikan itu sangat penting adanya keseimbangan untuk mencapai pendidikan yang mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa dan mewujudkan akhlak yang mulia dengan mengembangkan potensi peserta didik perlu adanya proses dialektika antara pendidikan Islam dan pendidikan umum sehingga output daripada proses dialektika tersebut berimplikasi terhadap sosok manusia yang berintelektual dan bermoral, agamis dan nasionalis, ideologis dan spiritualis.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan tulisan ilmiah ini adalah untuk mengetahui berkenaan dengan Kurikulum Merdeka: Langkah Menuju Pendidikan yang Berfokus pada Kreativitas dan Kemandirian di Sekolah Dasar Negeri. Kurikulum Merdeka merupakan reformasi pendidikan di Indonesia yang dirancang untuk memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang lebih fleksibel, kreatif, dan mandiri. Melalui pendekatan ini, guru dan sekolah diberi kebebasan dalam menyusun kurikulum yang sesuai dengan karakteristik dan kebutuhan siswa, memungkinkan proses belajar yang lebih kontekstual dan relevan. Kurikulum ini mengedepankan Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (Project-Based Learning) dan integrasi Profil Pelajar Pancasila, yang bertujuan mengembangkan keterampilan abad ke-21, seperti berpikir kritis, kreativitas, serta kemandirian. Asesmen dalam Kurikulum Merdeka juga lebih holistik, menggantikan Ujian Nasional dengan Asesmen Nasional yang mengukur kompetensi literasi, numerasi, serta karakter siswa. Meski memiliki keunggulan dalam mendorong inovasi pendidikan, tantangan seperti kesiapan guru, kesenjangan infrastruktur, dan perbedaan implementasi di berbagai daerah masih menjadi isu yang perlu diatasi. Dengan dukungan yang tepat, Kurikulum Merdeka berpotensi menciptakan generasi muda yang lebih siap menghadapi tantangan global dan memiliki karakter yang kuat serta keterampilan yang relevan.

Abstract

Thematic learning is an approach that integrates various scientific disciplines through themes that are relevant to students' daily lives, aiming to increase their understanding and involvement in the learning process. The aim of this research is to review in depth the criteria, principles and techniques for developing theme networks in thematic learning, including the steps that must be taken to create effective and interesting themes as well as highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of thematic learning models based on theme networks. This research uses quantitative methods with a library research approach to explore theme networks in thematic learning. This research focuses on collecting data from various literature sources, including books, scientific journals, government documents, and relevant online articles. The results of this research are: (1) criteria and techniques for systematic steps in developing a theme network which is the basis for integrated learning. (2) An effective theme network must pay attention to principles such as simplicity, cohesiveness, and relevance to the student context. (3) choosing the right theme and good time planning is very important for the successful implementation of thematic learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between understanding the concept of history and the formation of national identity of elementary school students through a literature study approach. History as a subject that teaches about important events in the journey of a nation has a strategic role in building national awareness and national identity. A good understanding of history can strengthen pride and loyalty to the country, and help students understand the basic values that shape the character of the nation. In this study, data were collected through a literature review covering various sources, such as history textbooks, scientific journals, and previous research relevant to this topic. The results of the literature study indicate that a good understanding of history can strengthen students' national identity, especially in terms of recognizing state symbols, the struggle for independence, and the diversity of Indonesian culture. A number of theories in educational science also underline the importance of contextual history learning based on national values to form a sense of unity. In addition, interesting and interactive history learning can increase student involvement, thereby helping to form a stronger national identity. This study suggests that history education in elementary schools emphasizes learning that is not only factual, but also leads to strengthening national values that are relevant to students' daily lives.
