Abstract

This study aims to analyze career paths and interest in being an intensive nurse and develop problem-solving solutions by conducting interactive discussion activities to disseminate intensive unit services to attract interest in becoming an intensive nurse. The method used is a case study and analysis of results and implementation gaps with a discussion based on the literature review. The results of the career path analysis research, respondents have a D3 nursing education level (90%), 5-8 years of service (87.5%), occupy the last PK level 1-5 years (93.4%) and attend BHD, PPI training, PCNT, BHL/PALS, and basic KMB training (53.3%). Interest in being an intensive nurse (63.3%). Interest in carrying out their respective roles as caregivers, educators, and researchers (60%). In conclusion, some nurses are interested in becoming intensive nurses with the appropriate level of education, tenure, and career level and have attended basic training to become intensive nurses. However, when internal recruitment is carried out to become intensive nurses, few nurses are willing to become intensive nurses, so that still needs proper implementation. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of slow deep breathing exercise on reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients in the Telaga Dewa Health Center work area, Bengkulu City. This research method is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research design. The results of univariate analysis obtained that the average respondent was 64 years old, with the majority gender being female, namely seven respondents (53.3%). Most respondents have a family history of hypertension, as many as 12 respondents (80%). The results of the bivariate analysis showed that the p-value <0.05. In conclusion, there is a decrease in systolic and diastolic blood pressure before and after slow deep breathing intervention in hypertension sufferers in the Telaga Dewa Health Center Work Area, Bengkulu City. Abstract

This study aims to determine the consumption patterns of COVID-19 patients during self-isolation at home during PPKM Level 4 in the city of Kupang. The research method is quantitative research with a cross-sectional study design. The results showed that the consumption pattern in terms of the type of food consumed was in the moderate category with a total of 46 respondents (57.5%); in terms of the amount of food in the excellent category with a total of 63 respondents (78.75%); and in terms of eating frequency, 72 respondents (90%). The amount of information about balanced nutritious foods makes isoman patients wiser in choosing and consuming foods to increase immunity and speed up the recovery process. In conclusion, getting food for COVID-19 patients during the PPKM level 4 in Kupang city, mainly obtained from family assistance, consumption patterns in categories, and the amount of food consumed, is good. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between stress and the incidence of vaginal discharge in second-semester nursing students of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. This research method is quantitative research with an analytical design using a cross-sectional approach. The results showed that most of the respondents experienced moderate stress, namely 41 respondents (71.9%) and pathological vaginal discharge as many as 31 respondents (54.4%) with P-value = 0.04 (P <0.05). In conclusion, there is a relationship between stress and the incidence of vaginal discharge in second-semester nursing students. Keywords: Vaginal discharge, Nursing Students, Stress

Abstract

This study aims to look at the dominant differences in healthy lifestyles in Islamic boarding schools and non-Islamic boarding schools in Johan Pahlawan District, West Aceh Regency. The research method used is quantitative research with the analytical survey. The results of the bivariate test showed that there was a difference in a healthy lifestyle (0.047 < 0.05), there was no difference in BMI (0.474 > 0.05), there was a difference in psychological well-being (0.025 < 0.05), and there was a difference in life satisfaction (0.01 < 0,05) in pesantren and non-Islamic boarding schools. At the same time, in the multivariate test, the dominant determinant of a healthy lifestyle is life satisfaction where the p-value (0.00 < 0.05). In conclusion, there are differences in a healthy lifestyle, psychological well-being, and life satisfaction in boarding and non-boarding adolescents, with the dominant factor being life satisfaction. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of module 6 patient safety goals in clinical learning on behavioral changes in nursing students at RSAM Bukittinggi. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a pretest-posttest control group design. The results showed that the control group obtained an average of 23 and 28.40 in the treatment group. Attitudes received an average of 51.27 in the control group and 59.6 in the treatment group. Furthermore, the action obtained an average of 28.93 in the control group and 39.6 in the treatment group. Behavioral analysis showed a p-value <0.05. In conclusion, module 6 patient safety goals effectively increase knowledge and actions or implement patient safety goals. Abstract

This study aims to identify problems and develop nurse improvement strategies to speak up in IPCP. The method used in this research is an improvement program based on innovation development with a pilot project approach. The results showed that the characteristics of the respondents in the survey of nurse satisfaction in IPCP conducted during problem identification were that there were more female nurses (91%) than male nurses (9.3%), the age of the most respondents was between 21-30 years. (44%), and age 31 -40 years (33%) or productive age. The education level of most respondents is D3 (83%), the second is Nurses (23%). Respondent's competency level for PK I (25%), PK II (32%), PK III (45%), and PK IV (4%). Most of the respondents who participated in this survey were Associate Nurse (PA) at 91% and Primary Nurse (PP) at 14%. In conclusion, the speak-up method can improve nursing services, the image of the nursing profession, and the achievement of patient safety. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of SEFT therapy on anxiety levels in families of critically ill patients at the Kendari City Hospital. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design. The results of this study statistically and clinically showed an effect of SEFT therapy on the anxiety level of the critically ill patient's family with a p-value = 0.001 (p <0.05) and the mean difference in anxiety value > 10. In this study, there was a decrease in anxiety levels from severe anxiety. (pretest) became moderately anxious after SEFT therapy (posttest). Although the decline was only to moderate anxiety, the patient's family said they became calmer, and a feeling of resignation appeared about the critical condition of their family members. The decrease in anxiety is also marked by a reduction in the frequency of pulse and breathing to normal after being given SEFT therapy. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the determination of physical activity in adult aggregates in Lhokseumawe City. The research design used was a descriptive correlation with a cross-sectional approach. The results showed that the majority of respondents were adults (26-35 years old) that is 61 people (62.9%), female 69 people (71.1%), higher education level 74 people (76.3%), working does not depend on time, namely, 36 people (37.1%), living in urban areas, namely 90 people (92.8%), and having a monthly income of <Rp 3,165,030, namely 69 people (71.1%). Variables related to physical activity were age (p=0.003), perceived benefits and barriers (p=0.024), and self-efficacy (p=0.000). The most dominant factor about physical activity in respondents was age, with an odds ratio of 4.622 (95% CI: 1.759-12.143). In conclusion, the most significant determinant of physical activity in the adult aggregate is age. Keywords: Aggregate Adults, Determinants of Physical Activity

Abstract

This study aims to complete data articles related to interprofessional education in nursing so that accurate and comprehensive data can be obtained and are expected to be used as the basis for further research, especially in the development of interprofessional education. Research methods related to interprofessional education in nursing from 2010-2019 are based on data from Scopus, using the Publish or Perish (POP) search application, and using content analysis methods systematically. The results showed that the number of article publications had increased every year. This indicates that interprofessional competence in nursing education gets more attention from scientists and researchers. In conclusion, there is an increase in research tending to this topic every year. The highest search results of citations per article are 132. The journal that publishes interprofessional education the most used is bibliometrics. It is expected to see a map of research globally. Many are Journal of Interprofessional Care.
