Abstract

Ketidaksiapan remaja dalam menghadapi perubahan fisik maupun psikologis yang terjadi akan menimbulkan berbagai perilaku yang berisiko seperti kenakalan remaja, penyalahgunaan obat terlarang, penyakit menular seksual, kehamilan yang tidak diinginkan, dan aborsi. Hal tersebut terutama dikarenakan pada masa remaja terjadi perubahan baik biologis maupun psikologis pada sistem reproduksinya. Informasi yang cukup dan terarah akan menghindari adanya kesalahan persepsi terhadap perubahan yang terjadi pada diri remaja tersebut. Metode pendidikan kesehatan dari teman sebaya dianggap lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan sumber informasi lainnya dan juga sebaya mempunyai peran yang cukup strategis dalam tahapan perkembangan psikososial remaja. Sehingga untuk mengatasi hal tersebut maka sebagai tahap awal agar program ini berjalan lancar maka di dilaksanakan pelatihan pendidik sebaya dengan fokus utama adalah pada kesehatan reproduksi remaja untuk seluruh SMP dan SMA. Secara umum tahapan pendidikan sebaya meliputi introduction, investigation, interpretation, intervention, dan evaluation. Teknik pendidikan sebaya yang dilatihkan pada siswa adalah keterampilan attending, empathy, asking, genuine, confrontating, summarizing, dan problem solving. Indikator keberhasilan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat salah satunya adalah antusiasme dari seluruh sekolah yang menjadi khalayak sasaran dapat mengikutsertakan 6 orang siswanya untuk mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan pendidik sebaya selama 3 hari berturut-turut sesuai dengan jadwal yang sudah ditentukan dengan 100% kehadiran.

Abstract

The coronavirus 2019 (Covid- 19) pandemic offers incredible challenges to child and adolescent health because the school closure and the impracticability of activities outside the house have been challenging for parents. When schools are closed, they lose an anchor in life, and their symptoms could relapse; these unstoppable circumstances, which are beyond average experience, are primary to stress, anxiety, and a feeling of helplessness in all. This research aimed at identifying, analysing, and examining children's mental health during pandemic articles published in several reputable international journals issued in the 2019-2020 timeframe, which was led using bibliometric studies. This research hires a bibliographic study using systematic and explicit mapping methods. The research was conducted using a 4-stages systematic mapping method: (1) searching for articles using the Publish or Perish application in the Scopus database, (2) classifying the articles for the bibliometric analysis, (3) checking and completing the metadata of those articles, and (4) conducting bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer application. The bibliometric analysis produced four findings, as follows: (1) the trend of mental health children’s publications 2019-2020; (2) the ten most contributive journals has published; (3) the ten most cited articles has produced 170 citations; (4) the five highest order of author keywords most widely used in mental health children’s articles were mental health, children, human, school, and covid- 19. Children's mental health can be concluded as the term of research is currently popular among researchers.

Abstract

IMPROVING DISASTER PREPAREDNESS SCHOOL READINESS THROUGH TRAINING OF DISASTER PREPARED SCHOOL CADRE STUDENTS AT SMPN 1 CIMALAKA. Natural disasters are natural phenomena that occur directly or indirectly to disturb human life. Disasters can happen anywhere and anytime. Therefore it is necessary to prepare the community in facing disasters, including the school community. Disaster preparedness education needs to be carried out immediately considering that most Indonesians live in disaster-prone areas. The school community is one of the main stakeholders for preparedness against natural disasters. The purpose of this community service is to provide training for students of SMPN I Cimalaka to be prepared as cadres of disaster prepared schools. After the training, 45 students of disaster preparedness cadres at SMPN I Cimalaka have received training for 3 days of disaster preparedness. And the results of the evaluation showed that the participants' knowledge and skills were all good. Disaster preparedness cadre activities are quite active, namely by disseminating disaster preparedness to fellow students in extracurricular activities such as OSIS, Scouts and PMR. In addition, disaster preparedness cadres are also often involved in disaster recognition training by schools.

Abstract

  Aim: Obtain an overview of the level of acceptance of nursing clinic educators using mini-CEX as an assessment method. Method: This research is a descriptive study with 62 subjects were clinical instructors, conducted training first, then the technique of data collection using 2 instruments namely mini-CEX format and modified TAM. Result: 98.4% of respondents can use mini-CEX with graduation criteria above 75% and the graduation of 18.6. Product moment correlation test results for all items TAM significance value> 0.25, then all items are declared valid with a significance of 95%. TAM questionnaire reliability with Alpha Croanbach's test is 0.957. The results of data analysis using the t-test with a limit on the acceptance value of using mini-CEX using the TAM questionnaire was 70% found that the test results showed sig 0,000 (<.0.05). Conclusion: Mini-CEX can be used as a clinical performance appraisal instrument for nursing students, with a high level of acceptance measured by TAM.

Abstract

Aims: Since the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak, nurses have been actively involved for 24 hours in providing nursing care to Covid-19 patients both in hospital and public health centers. As part of the front liner, the role of nurses during fighting against Covid-19 requires good knowledge and competence. This review describes the articles regarding nurses’ knowledge and competency toward Covid-19 that have been published. Methods: The research articles were retrieved from the Scopus database and Science direct database. Results: The major findings of the review showed that nurses almost have a good knowledge regarding the Covid-19 outbreak. However, it is widely reported that nurses are insufficiently trained. Most of them only read guidelines that have been established by the government. Furthermore, the nurses do not feel confident responding effectively to the Covid-19 pandemic. The other issues according to the articles were the need for support, motivation, material especially personal protective equipment so that the nurses would perform their role better. The result of the study contributes to the competency of Covid-19 pandemic preparedness among nurse professions. Conclusions : The findings of the study also would be evidence-based for the government, nurse managers to prepare nurses for fighting against outbreak response. According to the review, it is recommended that all nurses must be facilitated to get training or education periodically regarding Covid-19.

Abstract

The government's efforts to address learning loss concerns as a result of the COVID-19 pandemi on school-age children are with the gradual start of face-to-face learning. UKS is the implementation of Health Promoting School (HPS) in Indonesia which aims to mobilize and improve health campaigns and education, including efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Most of the UKS in West Java province is in a state of disrepair. In fact, UKS is the spearhead of community empowerment in the implementation of PHBS and is also the main key to preventing the spread of COVID-19 in the school environment. The purpose of this community service is to optimize the role of HPS during the COVID-19 pandemi. Community service program method developed by the team based on the modified "Common component of health education planning models"-WHO. The primary target of this activity is 24 elementary school students in grades 4, 5 and 6, as prospective HPS drivers. The result of this community service is that there is an increase in students' knowledge about the importance of UKS in schools.

Abstract

PREVENTION OF THE THIRD WAVE THROUGH HEALTH EDUCATION STRENGTHENING DISCIPLINE OF COVID-19 HEALTH PROTOCOLS. The mortality rate due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the world has increased to 3,893,114 people and as many as 179,657,832 were confirmed positive on June 24, 2021. In West Java Indonesia, the mortality rate has reached 4,826. In The, North Sumedang recorded 14 people died out of 662 confirmed positive cases until June 23, 2021. Meanwhile, in October 2021 the number of confirmed COVID-19 began to decrease, but the people began to lack discipline in implementing health protocols, fearing a third wave of COVID-19 would occur in Indonesia. The purpose of this community service was to increase public knowledge, awareness and obedience to the importance of implementing health protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic. The methods of lectures, discussions, evaluations and the practiced of implementing health protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19 were used. The results after this activity showed that the majority of participants have Very Good knowledge and skills to implemented COVID-19 health protocols. We hope that people who have received these activities can disseminate, remind their families and surrounding people to implement and actively participate in health promotion regarding the discipline of implementing the COVID-19 health protocol.

Abstract

STRENGTHEN THE COVID-19 HEALTH PROTOCOL FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS PREPARING FACE-TO-FACE LEARNING. The global health crisis caused by the COVID-19 disease has had an impact on all aspects of life, including education. Approximately 1.3 billion students in 195 countries were affected by the closure of schools in mid-April 2020. School closures were quite effective in preventing the spread of COVID-19, but on the other hand, there were many negative impacts of prolonged online learning. The implementation of health protocols in schools is a very important factor to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 in school clusters. This Community Service Program in the form of strengthens the implementation of Health protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the school environment when face-to-face schools re-open at the elementary level. This programming method was carried out in September-October 2021, involving the elementary school teachers who held the health promotion school program and the Covid Task Force in each elementary school in one of the districts in West Java, Indonesia. The district has 29 elementary schools with a total number of 316 teachers, which was carried out online in webinars and offline Focus Group discussions (FGDs). The results of the Webinar and FGDs conducted in this activity received a good response from all webinar participants and FGDs participants. The results of the FGDs showed that several problems had to be addressed immediately, namely the lack of training for the COVID-19 task force in the education unit.

Abstract

Seiring dengan masih belum tercapaian target 70% vaksinasi dosis ke 2 di Indonesia, sementara kasus baru varian Omicron telah masuk ke Indonesia, sehingga diperlukan program percepatan vaksinasi dosis ke 1, 2 dan booster (dosis ke 3). Tujuan dari program kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini merupakan upaya dalam peningkatan angka capaian sasaran vaksin covid-19 dalam usaha mencegah semakin tingginya prevalensi, menurunkan angka mortalitas dan morbiditas, serta mencegah dan mengantisipasi terjadinya gelombang lanjutan dari pandemik Covid-19. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah home visit/door to door melakukan promosi kesehatan, diskusi dan pemberian vaksin dosis 1, 2 dan 3 bagi masyarakat yang belum dilakukan vaksinasi. Hasil yang didapatkan selama kurang lebih satu bulan dari kegiatan PkM berbasis kepakaran bidang ilmu ini adalah adanya peningkatan capaian sebesar 0,85% vaksin dosis 1, sebesar 2,31% dosis 2 dan untuk dosis 3 sebesar 4,51%. Rencana tindak lanjut kedepannya, tim PkM bersama dengan pemerintahan desa lain dalam satu wilayah kerja Puskesmas yang sama akan secara kolaboratif dan partisipatif untuk mempercepat capaian vaksinasi Covid-19.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has an impact on psychological changes: anxiety, depression, and fear which can cause psychosocial problems in the community. So, nurses are needed as holistic health care providers in carrying out psychosocial nursing care to help the recovery process of patients with psychosocial health problems during the COVID-19 pandemic as to reduce the risk of mental disorders. This study aims to determine the level of readiness of community health centers nurse in carrying out nursing care on psychosocial problems. This research uses quantitative descriptive research with a survey design. Respondents in this study were 105 health center nurses, using a simple random sampling technique. The descriptive data univariat analysis using SPSS Statistics 26 and the Behavioral Health Care Competency Survey instrument. The results showed that 57 respondents had high readiness (54.3%), 40 respondents had moderate readiness (38.1%), and as many as 8 respondents had low readiness (7.6%) in carrying out nursing care for psychosocial problems. Community Health Center nurses are ready to provide nursing care for psychosocial problems, as evidenced by the results of the nurse readiness survey at a high level. It shows that nurses can identify patients' psychosocial problems and provide appropriate interventions to people with psychosocial problems during the COVID-19 pandemic.
