Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the STAD type of cooperative learning model to improve learning achievement of Hinduism students in the third semester of second semester of SD Negeri 7 Bebandem, Karangasem Regency in the 2015/2016 academic year. This research uses two rounds of action research. Each round consists of four stages, namely: design, activities and observations, reflection, and revision. The target of this research is the third grade students of SD Negeri 7 Bebandem, Karangasem Regency. The data obtained in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. The results of the analysis showed that the application of the STAD Type Cooperative Learning learning model can improve student achievement and learning activity, marked by students' conceptual understanding with the percentage increase in the average grade value in the pre-cycle to cycle I and from cycle I to cycle II, respectively. .25% and 13.93%, from the average grade of 71.13 in the pre-cycle to 74.38 in the first cycle and 88.31 in the second cycle. The achievement of the percentage increase in absorption is the same as the percentage of the average grades from pre-cycle to cycle I and from cycle I to cycle II are 3.25% and 13.93%, namely from 71.13% in the pre-cycle to 74.38 % in the first cycle and 88.31% in the second cycle. While the classical learning mastery from pre-cycle to cycle I and from cycle I to cycle II respectively, namely learning completeness in pre-cycle is 37.5%, in cycle I 62.5% and in cycle II 100%. and the average cooperative skills of students are in the very skilled category. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the STAD type of cooperative learning learning model does have a positive impact on improving the learning achievement of Class III students at SD Negeri 7 Bebandem, Karangasem Regency, and this learning model can be used as an alternative to learning Hindu religious education.

Abstract

The study's goal was to find out how students at SMK Negeri 1 Bandar Masilam felt about using Google Classroom to learn English and how easy it was to use. Google Classroom is one of the learning media. Google Classroom is a well-known tool in the education sector, particularly at the collegiate level. Google Classroom was used by some teachers as a learning medium. Google Classroom in language learning is being studied using qualitative research methods and a questionnaire as an instrument. Twenty students from SMK Negeri 1 Bandar Masilam's Class X Tkj-1 and X Tkj-2 will participate in the study. Research and discussion have shown that students' perceptions of Google Classroom use have a positive response. Most students agree that Google Classroom is easy to use and that it helps students learn English by allowing them to save and retrieve assignments and, in the case of Google Classroom, submit assignments. As a result, using Google Classroom to learn English is a wise decision.

Abstract

The e-learning system can create individuation, enrichment, acceleration, expansion, productivity and effectiveness in learning so that the quality of education can increase during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted to find the right formulation of the online lecture system in the future. In this study, the research population was all students of the communication science study program, totaling 259 people. For the needs of analysis and hypothesis testing, the entire population is used as the research sample. So the research is included in population research. The analytical technique used in this study uses a structural equation model (SEM) with the AMOS 21.0 program which consists of several stages. The results showed that of the nine paths and hypotheses built, seven hypotheses had a positive and significant effect, while two hypotheses had an insignificant effect.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of rotating wheel media on the ability to recognize patterns in group A children in Kindergarten, Waru Sidoarjo sub-district. This type of research is experimental research using a quasi-experimental design. The variables in this study consisted of the independent variable rotating wheel media (X) and the dependent variable the ability to recognize patterns (Y1) and children's fine motor skills (Y2). The samples in this study were 40 children of the experimental group (19 children of Al Muslim Kindergarten A-1 and 21 children of TK Parlaungan A-1) and 40 children of the control group (19 children of Al Muslim Kindergarten A-2 and 21 children of TK Parlaungan A-2) . The data analysis technique in this study used parametric statistics independent t-test test. The results showed that (1) there was an effect of rotating wheel media on the ability to recognize patterns in group A children in Kindergarten, Waru Sidoarjo district, statistically the t value = 2.862 with a significant level of p = 0.007 less than 5%; (2) There is an effect of rotating wheel media on the fine motor skills of group A children in Kindergarten, Waru Sidoarjo sub-district, statistically the value of t = 4,534, the significant level of p = 0.000 is less than 5%.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia in March 2020 experienced significant turmoil, this was due to the pandemic caused by Covid-19. Learning that was initially carried out face-to-face, was then carried out online by applying or using more effective learning media. One of them is by using Adobe Flash Professional CS6. The researcher uses a Research and Development (R&D) model with a 4-D (four D) model through the development stages including Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The results showed that the media feasibility level which was validated by equipment experts showed a feasibility level with a percentage of 88.75%. Meanwhile, the feasibility level of the material expert shows the feasibility level with a percentage of 93.75%. The responses given by educators and students are carried out by conducting product trials, then educators and students are asked to fill out a questionnaire using the google form application. As for the results in terms of educators responding with a percentage of 83.13% satisfying and from students getting a response with a percentage of 80.61% satisfactory.

Abstract

Since the first time the existence of regulations regarding Hindu religious education. The public has not found a news website that focuses on reporting about pasraman. Pasraman meant both formal and non-formal. The presence of the infopasraman.com news website provides very encouraging news to academics and practitioners of religious education. The purpose of this study was to determine the communication strategy of the infopasraman.com news website in an effort to promote Hindu religious education-based schools. Furthermore, to understand the obstacles and obstacles to the implementation of the infopasraman.com news website communication strategy in an effort to promote Hindu religious education-based schools and thirdly to find out the impact of the infopasraman.com news website communication strategy on the development of formal pasraman in Indonesia. Qualitative research methods are more based on the philosophy of phenomenology that prioritizes appreciation (verstehen). The research uses qualitative data sources and the research instrument is the researcher himself. The research results show that the infopasraman.com News Website Communication strategy in an effort to promote Hindu religious education/formal pasraman schools in Indonesia is in the form of the following scope: a) Doing objective reporting; b) Take the initiative to communicate and expand the network; c) Focus on pasraman news; d) Flexibility with contributors to pasraman news in various regions; honesty in management and management; e) Maintain security when carrying out journalistic duties; and f) Innovate in implementing digital media convergence. The obstacles and obstacles in implementing the communication strategy of the infopasraman.com news website are divided into two, namely internal and external barriers. Abstract

Adat Toana is part of the historiography of the Mempawah Kingdom where the values ​​in Adat Toana describe the heterogeneous character and characteristics of the Mempawah community, this can be a contextual history learning material for students because it can link the past and its causality for the present. This study aims to (1) what are the values ​​in Adat Toana (2) how to contextualize Adat Toana in learning history. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive study. Data obtained from observations, interviews and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that Adat Toana has cultural, social and historical values. In teaching the teacher has linked the material of the Indigenous Toana tradition with the material in the textbook, contextualization is carried out by bringing up the narrative of ethnic diversity in Mempawah and the history of the Toana Tradition in Karyaaan Mempawah.  Contextualization produces feedback in the form of student responses to the importance of maintaining unity in differences, besides contextualization is oriented towards growing love for local culture.

Abstract

This research explains the importance of children's education in the context of social, religious, and state life from the perspective of Islamic education. The purpose of this study is to explain and find out parents’ leadership in children’s education. The study of Islamic education is very focused on the dynamics of life for children in the family and the surrounding environment. The importance of education for children can form a good personality or character according to the study of Islamic education. This research show that parents’ leadership needs to be aligned with the concept of children's education in the perspective of Islamic education is based on the values of the Qur'an and al-Hadith as fundamental things in the educational life of children to become superior, devoted, and tough (pious) children. Children's education starts from the knowledge of monotheism, morals, and worship and teaches children to understand and practice the Qur'an. This study utilizes a qualitative approach so that data processing is conducted through literature analysis specially literature description. Therefore, in Islamic education, the developmental concern for children contains the values to be achieved to realize the goals of Islamic education, and in the end, it can become a strength to deal with relationships in a very plural society.

Abstract

This study raised the issue of the academic service satisfaction index of STAHN Mpu Kuturan Singaraja postgraduate students. This issue is important to research in order to improve academic service management in the STAHN Mpu Kuturan Singaraja postgraduate program. In addition, the high fluctuation of public interest to study in postgraduate studies is also a consideration for this study. Thirty-five students in the first batch, increased to 52 students in the second batch; then dropped to 39 students in the third batch, and dropped again to 23 students in the fourth batch. The fluctuation of public interest in entering postgraduate is also the reason for the importance of this research. This study used a quantitative descriptive design. The five service dimensions that become indicators of student satisfaction are: the reliability dimension, the Responsiveness dimension, the Assurance dimension, the Empathy dimension and the Tangibles dimension. The results of data analysis showed that in general the academic services received by STAHN Mpu Kuturan Singaraja postgraduate students were satisfactory. In detail, the percentage of student satisfaction with academic services at postgraduate is as follows: 3% of postgraduate students are not satisfied with the academic services they receive; 12% of postgraduate students are dissatisfied with the academic services they receive; 41% of students are quite satisfied with the academic services they receive; 35% of students are satisfied with the academic services they receive, and 8% of students are very satisfied with the academic services they receive.

Abstract

This research describes the involvement of the role of parents in the implementation of blended learning during the covid-19 pandemic in Enggal Rejo village of Pringsewu Regency. The method in this study is qualitative with parent informants and children aged 6 to 12 years, data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the involvement of parents in the implementation of blended learning during the pandemic acted as facilitators, motivators, as teachers and as influences. In addition, the difficulties faced by parents include; Low educational background, weak economy, parental employment and limited time.
