Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah yang ditinjau dari gaya kognitif. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam Penelitian Kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII MTSN 3 Rokan Hulu. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes GEFT (Group Embredded Figure Test) yang dikembangkan oleh Witkin dan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis berupa soal uraian. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, pemaparan data, analisis data pada kedua kelompok subjek dan penarikan kesimpulan. Analisis kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan indikator dari Ennis yaitu merumuskan strategi, memberikan alasan, dan menyimpulkan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan perbedaan gaya kognitif siswa mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan gaya kognitif field independent memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis lebih baik daripada siswa dengan gaya kognitif field dependent. Kata Kunci : Berpikir Kritis, Gaya Kognitif Abstract The purpose of this study is to analyze students' critical thinking skills in solving problems in terms of cognitive style. This research is included in the Qualitative Research with descriptive qualitative methods. The subjects of this study is eighth grade students of MTSN 3 Rokan Hulu. Data collection technique of this study is used the GEFT test (Group Embredded Figure Test) that developed by Witkin and the critical thinking ability test is a description item. Data analysis technique is done by data reduction, data exposure, data analysis in both subject groups and drawing conclusions. Analysis of critical thinking skills in this study uses an indicator from Ennis, which is to formulate strategy, give reason, and conclude. This study shows differences in students 'cognitive style give affect to students' critical thinking skills. The results showed that students with independent field cognitive style had better critical thinking skills than students with field dependent cognitive style.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas metode pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual dalam hal keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMP. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas VIII Sekolah Menengah Atas di Kecamatan Kontukowuna, Kabupaten Muna, Sulawesi Tenggara pada tahun 2016/2017. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui penyediaan empat item pertanyaan instrumen tes keterampilan berpikir kritis, di mana setiap pertanyaan mewakili indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis dan lembar observasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji t satu sampel. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa nilai uji t 2,719> (t_0,05,27) = 2,0518, yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing efektif dalam hal kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMP. Hasil ini didukung oleh peningkatan rata-rata pretest 27,66 ke posttest 76,00 yang lebih tinggi dari kriteria penguasaan mengajar minimum (KKM) dari 70. Abstract This study aimed to test the effectiveness of guided discovery learning method using a contextual approach in terms of students' critical thinking skills of SMP. Type of research used was quasi experiment. Population in this research was all VIII grader students of Senior High School in sub-district Kontukowuna, Muna districts, Southeast Sulawesi in 2016/2017. Data collection was obtained through the provision of four items of question of critical thinking skills test instrumen, where each question represents an indicator of critical thinking ability and observation sheet of learning implementation. Research result was analyzed using one sample t test. The findings showed that t test value 2,719> (t_0.05,27) = 2.0518, which can be concluded that the guided discovery learning method was effective in terms of the critical thinking ability of junior high school students. This result was supported by the increase of average of pretest 27.66 to posttest 76.00 which was higher than the minimum teaching mastery criteria (KKM) of 70.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini adalah menghasilkan produk berupa media pembelajarn berbasis animasi menggunakan construct 2 yang “layak” digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk peserta didik di SMA Negeri 1 Purbolinggo dan menghasilkan produk yang “praktis” digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk peserta didik di SMA Negeri 1 Purbolinggo. Model pengembangan yang digunakan sebagai dasar penelitian ini adalah model 4D yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu Define, Design, Development, Disseminate. Instrument pengumpulan data pada pengembangan ini berupa angket validasi ahli dan angket kepraktisan produk. Hasil pengembangan produk berupa media pembelajaran animasi diperoleh analisis materi 89% yang masuk dalam kategori “sangat layak” dan analisis ahli media 90% yang masuk dalam kategori “sangat layak” untuk digunakan pada saat uji coba. Selanjutnya uji coba kelompok kecil dilakukan oleh 10 peserta didik diperoleh 90% yang masuk dalam kategori “sangat praktis” digunakan pada proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan media pembelajaran berbasis animasi pada materi logika yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria layak dan praktis. Abstract The purpose of this development research is to produce a product in the form of an animation-based learning media using construct 2 that is “feasible” to bw used as learning medium for students in SMA Negesi 1 Purbolinggo and to produce pruducts that are “practical” used as a learning medium for students at SMA Negeri 1 Purbolinggo. The development model used as the basid of this research is the 4D model which consists of 4 stages, namely Define, Design, Development, Disseminate. Data collection instruments in this development were expert validation questionnaire and product practicality questionnaire. The results of product development in the form of instructional media animation obtained 89% of material analysis included in the “very feasible” category and 90% of media expert analysis included in the “very feasible” category for use at the time of the trial. Furthermore, small group trials conducted by ten students obtained 90% which fall into the “very practical” ctegory used in the learning process. Based learning media on logic material that is developed it meets the feasible and practical criteria.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul matematika yang terintegrasi dengan nilai-nilai Islam dengan penilaian otentik untuk siswa kelas sebelas MA Hasyim Asy'ari Bangsri, Sukodono, Sidoarjo, yang layak dan unggul untuk meningkatkan prestasi siswa dalam matematika. Penelitian ini menerapkan Model pengembangan Plomp. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan tes. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan divalidasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) Modul Matematika Nilai Islam dilampirkan dengan penilaian otentik dalam proses belajar mengajar. 2) Hasil penilaian ahli terhadap bahan ajar menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan modul matematika nilai-nilai islami dengan penilaian otentik memenuhi syarat baik. 3) Validator media memberikan respons yang baik. 4) Persentase keseluruhan tanggapan siswa pada tes kelompok kecil adalah 88% yang dapat dianggap memiliki kualifikasi yang baik. 5) Tanggapan guru pada tes lapangan menunjukkan bahwa guru merespons dengan baik. 6) Pengembangan modul matematika realistis ini efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas sebelas di MA Hasyim Asy'ari Bangsri, Sukodono, Sidoarjo. Kata kunci: pengembangan, model Plomp, modul matematika, penilaian otentik, prestasi belajar matematika Abstract This research is aimed at producing an Islamic values mathematical module with authentic assessment for the eleventh-grade students of MA Hasyim Asy’ari Bangsri, Sukodono, Sidoarjo, which is feasible and superior to improve students’ achievement in mathematics. This research implemented Plomp’s Model of development. Collecting data methods in this research is by using questionnaires and tests. The data analyzed quantitative and validation. The results of this research are: 1) Islamic Values Mathematics Module attached with authentic assessment in the teaching and learning process. 2) The result of the expert judgment on teaching material shows that the development of Islamic values mathematical module with authentic assessment is qualified as good. 3) The expert on media gives good respond. 4) The overall percentage of the students’ response to a small group test is 88% that can be considered as having good qualifications. 5) The teacher’s response to the field test shows that teachers responded well. 6) The development of this realistic mathematics module is effective to improve the learning result of the eleventh-grade students in MA Hasyim Asy’ari Bangsri, Sukodono, Sidoarjo.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara social support dengan emosionalitas siswa dalam pemecahan masalah matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan purposive sampling dengan subyek penelitiannya siswa kelas XI IPA 2 sebanyak 39 siswa dan kelas XI IPA 3 sebanyak 40 siswa di MAN 2 Majalengka. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket pernyataan terhadap social support dan emosionalitas siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Besaran social support yang diberikan terhadap siswa sebesar 81% dalam kategori sangat kuat dan kondisi emosionalitas siswa sebesar 81% dalam kategori sangat kuat. Selain itu, Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukan bahwa t_hitung 5,527 dengan nilai signifikansi 5,527> 2,000. Maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehingga dapat maknai bahwa social support berhubungan dengan emosionalitas siswa dalam pemecahan masalah matematika. Abstract This study aims to determine the relationship between social support and student emotionality in solving mathematical problems. This research is a quantitative study using correlational design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with the subjects of the XI IPA 2 class as many as 39 students and XI IPA 3 classes as many as 40 students in MAN 2 Majalengka. The data collection technique uses statement questionnaires for students' social support and emotionality. The results of this study indicate that the amount of social support given to students is 81% in the very strong category and the emotionality of students is 81% in the very strong category. In addition, the results of hypothesis testing indicate that t count is 5.527 with a significance value of 5.527> 2,000. Then HO is rejected and Ha is accepted so that it can mean that social support is related to student emotionality in mathematical problems solving.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana mengembangkan modul matematika serta efektifitasnya ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP IT Bina Insani Metro. Penyusunan modul dilakukan berdasarkan panduan penyusunan modul dari Depdiknas 2008. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa modul telah memenuhi standar kelayakan isi, media, dan bahasa. Hasil uji coba awal menunjukkan bahwa modul termasuk dalam kategori baik. Hasil uji terbatas dalam penelitian ini berupa modul matematika pada materi segitiga dan segi empat. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes berpikir kritis matematis. Hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan siswa telah memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal dalam kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis. Kata kunci: berpikir kritis, modul Abstract This research aimed to find out how to develop mathematics modules and its effectiveness in terms of critical thinking skills of mathematics. The subject of this research was students of VIIth grade of SMP IT Bina Insani Metro. The preparation of the module was done based on the guidelines on programming modules from Depdiknas, 2008. The result of validation indicate that the module has a standard feasibility of content, media, and languages. The results of the initial trials showed that the modules included in well category. The result of limited tests in this study was a math module on triangles and rectangles materials. The research data was obtained by the test of mathematical critical thinking. The results of effectiveness showed that students have completed a minimum standard in the ability of critical thinking of mathematics.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil evaluasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika di Lembaga Agama Islam Muhammadiyah Sinjai, di samping penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan masalah yang muncul dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika di Lembaga Agama Islam Muhammadiyah Sinjai yang meliputi perencanaan pembelajaran , implementasi pembelajaran, dan penilaian pembelajaran semester. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner, lembar observasi dan, dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah dosen matematika yang mengajar di Program Studi Matematika sebanyak 3 dosen yang memiliki latar belakang pendidikan magister berbeda. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Evaluasi Konteks, dalam aspek ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kesesuaian antara kesiapan sekolah, staf pengajar, dengan tujuan program pembelajaran matematika di Institut Agama Islam Muhammadiyah Sinjai, dikategorikan sangat baik, (2) Input Evaluasi, pada aspek input pembelajaran Matematika untuk mata pelajaran SY, IM dan FT berada dalam kategori baik (B), (3) Evaluasi Proses, dalam aspek proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika untuk mata pelajaran SY dan IM dalam kategori baik dan untuk mata pelajaran FT dalam kategori cukup, (4) Evaluasi Produk, Penilaian pembelajaran matematika oleh guru berdasarkan kurikulum Program Studi dalam mata pelajaran SY, IM dan FT berada dalam kategori cukup. Abstract This study aims to describe the results of evaluating the implementation of mathematics learning at the Islamic Institute of Muhammadiyah Sinjai, in addition to this study to describe the problems that arise in the implementation of mathematics learning at the Islamic Institute of Muhammadiyah Sinjai which includes learning planning, learning implementation, and semester learning assessment. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires, observation sheets and, documentation. The subjects of this study were mathematics lecturers who taught in the Mathematics Study Program as many as 3 lecturers who had different master's educational backgrounds. The data analysis technique used in this study is qualitative data analysis. The results showed that (1) Context Evaluation, in this aspect showed that there was a match between school readiness, teaching staff, with the aim of the mathematics learning program at the Islamic Institut of Muhammadiyah Sinjai, categorized very well, (2) Input Evaluation, on the input aspect Mathematics learning for SY, IM and FT subjects is in a good category (B), (3) Process Evaluation, in the aspects of the process of implementing mathematics learning for SY and IM subjects in the good category and for FT subjects in the sufficient category, (4) Product Evaluation, Assessment of mathematics learning by teachers based on the Study Program curriculum in SY, IM and FT subjects is in the sufficient category.

Abstract

Ethnomathematics is important in learning mathematics. Ethnomathematics is a mathematical education that integrates cultural values in mathematics learning needs to initiate a real integration of cultural values. West Java Society is one of the provinces in Indonesia which has a variety of ethnomathematics, one of which is Indramayu. The Indramayu community generally has a livelihood as a farmer so that most of the Indramayu region is agricultural land, even rice fields can be found even though it is located in the center of Indramayu city. In this article, ethnomathematics is examined in the culture of measuring rice field area in Indramayu. This research method is ethnographic with two participants, a 59-years-old man and a 51-year-old woman from Indramayu. The results of this study are the existence of rice field formulas used by the Truwali Indramayu community.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describes the creativity and mathematical problem solving skills also the contribution of creativity to mathematical problem solving skills of 5th grade students public elementary school of IV Nagari District, Sijunjung Regency. Type of this study is correlational research. The population is 5th grade students all of IV Nagari District, Sijunjung Regency. The sampling technique uses is random sampling. The instrument for collects a data is a test of creativity and mathematical problem solving skills. The analysis technique uses is descriptive and correlational. The result shows: 1) 5th grade students public elementary school of IV Nagari District have high creativity as much as 18 students or 19.78%, high enough creativity as much as 31 students or 34.07%, high less creativity as much as 35 students or 38.46% and low creativity as much as 7 students or 7.69%. 2). High mathematical problem solving skills as much as 46 students or 50.55%, high enough mathematical problem solving skills as much as 13 students or 14.23%, high less mathematical problem solving skills as much as 21 students or 23.07% and low mathematical problem solving skills as much as 11 students or 12.08%. 3) There is a positive and significant contribution between creativity and mathematical problem solving skills with a correlation coefficient 0.426.
