Abstract

Learning as an educational process require tactic, approach, method, and various techniques so students can master the material well and deep in the process of teaching and learning, the assessment of the process of teaching and learning outcomes is often ignored, less of attention compared with assessment of learning outcomes. Whereas to find out the learning process was successful or not. Active students or not must be assessed at the time learning is on. Problem in this research is whether the relationship of performance appraisal to learning outcomes and how much the relationship of performance appraisal to learning biology the material circulation system in humans at XI MA Negeri Wara Ambon. This research uses type correlational aim to measure how far the relationship of performance appraisal to learning biology the material circulation system in humans. Result of research show that the relationship of performance appraisal to learning biology the material circulation. The result interpretation value r = 0,67 consist of medium category or enough. Based on the coefficient if determination, so amount of contribution students learning habit is 70.73 %. Therefore, another factor as concept ability, ability of understanding material and question ability determine learning success around 29,27 %. Key Words: Biology, Performance Assessment, Circulation

Abstract

The number of aquatic plants along the river flow outside the village of Lambur becomes a barrier to water traffic so that these plants are classified to be weeds or a nuisance for local people. This study aims to determine and document the types of weeds found in the village of Lambur and explore locals’ knowledge about the types of existing water weeds and their use. This research was conducted in the Village of Lambur Luar Tanjung Jabung Timur District by using the roaming method to collect existing Weed samples. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, documentation and literature studies, the data are analysed descriptive qualitative design. The results showed that there were 19 species and 13 families of water weeds, namely: Fimbristylis sp1, fimbristylis sp2, Cyperus sphacelatus Rottb, Blyxa aubertii Rich, Lindernia sp, Glinus oppositifolius (L.) Aug.DC, Melastoma malabathticum L, Nymphaea nouchali Burn, Ludwigia hyssopifolia (G.Don) Exell, Ludwigia repens JR Forst, Scoparia dulcis, Hippochaete debilis (Roxb.ex Vaucher) Ching, Panicum repens L, Oryza sativa, Persicaria hydropiper L, Monochoria vaginalis (Burm.f.) C.Presl, Borreria alata (Aubl.) DC, Borreria repens DC, and Xyris sp. Of the 19 species found, only 12 species, the locals know the name of the water weed, 7 species are only referred to as grass only by the locals, this water weed is not used by the them but mostly weeds are used for animal feed, the researchers provide education to the community that actually weed water can be used for treatment and to find out the quality of a waters or be used as an indicator of the biological condition of a river in wheteher good condition or not. Abstract

Differences in the accumulation of heavy metals lead and cadmium in water, sediments and mangrove organs (roots, stems and leaves) found in the waters of Tulehu, Maluku Province. Samples were taken from three observation stations, namely stopping ships that are not operating (station 1), Tulehu harbor (station 2) and Control (station 3). Pb and Cd were analyzed using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. Pb and Cd content in sediments is higher than in water. The highest Pb and Cd content is found in the stems then in the roots and leaves (stems> roots> leaves). Mangroves are one of the aquatic organisms that have the ability to absorb heavy metals in the aquatic environment. Key words: Mangrove, Pb, Cd, Heavy Metal

Abstract

Natural enemies are one component of Integrated Pest Management that utilizes non-chemical methods and reduces pesticides. Physical factors of the environment both temperature, humidity and varying light intensity greatly affect the abundance of natural enemies in an agricultural ecosystem. The purpose of this study was to determine the number and types of natural enemies of visitors to the observation plots, species diversity (H ') and the influence of environmental factors on the spatial and temporal distribution patterns of natural enemies on agricultural land. Sampling was conducted in May until July 2019. Observations were made grouped into 4 periods are at 07.00-08.00 WIT, 09.00-10.00 WIT, 12.00-13.00 WIT and at 15.00-16.00 WIT. The observation method used is to use "visual control". The results showed that environmental factors influence the number and type of natural enemies of the plot observation visitors. Natural enemies who visited the observation plot in the agricultural area were 5 families including Coccinellidae, Staphylinidae, Carabidae, Libellulidae, and Formicidae. Shannon - Wienner diversity index of H '>3. Environmental factors affect the presence of natural enemy insects with a correlation of Adjusted R-Square of 0.846 or 84.6%. Abstract

Geographically, Indonesia is in the tropics. This causes Indonesian waters to become increasingly rich in various types of marine biota which must be found in coastal waters. Coastal waters are places where various ecosystems with high organic productivity are found, one of which is mangrove. Mangroves are plants that live in coastal areas whose lives are always influenced by tidal currents. This study will explain how the diversity of mangroves and how the dominance of mangrove species on the coast of Sehati Village, Amahai District, Central Maluku Regency. This research was conducted to determine the species diversity and dominance of mangrove species. So that the results of this study show that in the coastal waters of Desa Sehati, Amahai Subdistrict, Central Maluku Regency, 5 mangrove species were found, namely Rhizophora mucronata, Bruguiera cylindrica, Bruguiera gymnorhiza, Sonneratia alba and Nypa fruticans which were members of 2 classes (Magnoliopsida and Liliopsida), 2 orders (Myrtales and Arecales), 3 families (Rhizophoraceae, Sonneratiaceae and Arecaceae), and 4 genera (Rhizophora, Bruguiera, Sonneratia and Nypa) with medium species diversity indexes and low species dominance. Abstract

Community service is intended to educate or transfer knowledge from information sources to recipients of information. This program has provided changes both socially and economically with the main target being welfare. The Sembilan Island region is one of the areas located in Sinjai Regency which has considerable land and sea potential. The marine and fisheries sector in this region in the short term is known as a sector that is able to have an impact on production activities from other sectors (Output Multiplier / OM) and increase in people's income (Income Multiplier / IM). The community service program that has been carried out involves 30 fishermen mothers in Pulau Sembilan and divided into 5 small groups accompanied by tutorials. Fish is processed into various products including fish balls, fish nuggets and shredded fish. The assistance and training that has been done have increased the community's confidence in increasing their income (Income Multiplier / IM) so that they can sustain the community's economy in Sembilan Island, Sinjai Regency. Abstract

Educational paradigm thoughts in this 21st century in line with the development of science and technology. We see nowadays that cellular computation program enables lecturer to record students` assessment data directly from mobile device. Besides, by the use of electronical devices that could be operated to increase and enhance students` learning in various way like enhancing students` understanding in theories, related with a performance or presentation, lab and experiments or written task and assignments. Then mobile device termed gadget. To know the influence of gadget learning model usage towards students` learning result and thinking skill in accomplishing assignments on vertebrate zoology course of college students from biology education faculty of education pattimura university. This research being held in Faculty of Education Pattimura University Biology Education, on Ferbuary 10th - June 10th 2019. Abstract

This research is research and development (R & D) which aim to develop assesment of respiration practicum performance in insects. The development of student practicum performance instruments is only focused on measuring student’s psycomotor competencies, especially in practicum, but this research was only carried out until the validation stage was carried out by the validator. This research used 4D models which consisting of four stage define, develop, design, and disseminate. The stage of develop and disseminate are not done due to limited time. The instruments in this research is performance assesment validation sheet and performance assesment instruments sheet. The result is development of performance assesment instruments in the respiration practicum that has been validated content indicates that validation of student practicum performance instruments on indicators of filling in instruments and indicators of conformity with indicators and objectives of practicum performance assesment students show very valid criteria that have an average of 3,50. Next indicator is the language used in the practical performance assesment instrument students have valid criteria with an average of 3,33 and conformity indicator with the rubric has valid criteria with an average of 3,00. So the results of the validation of the entire instrument of practicum performance assesment students have valid criteria with an average of 3,33 and valid is used as a student practicum performance instrument. Abstract

Faktor fisik kimia lingkungan merupakan salah satu factor yang mempengaruhi keberadaan organisme pada suatu daerah perairan. Berdasarkan penelitian pada 10 transek dengan 50 plot pengamatan kondisi factor fisik kimia ketika dilakukan pengukuran adalah sebagai berikut; rata-rata pengukuran suhu 27,7 0C, pH 6,36, salinitas 4,9 ‰, dan Oksigen terlarut 5,9 mg/L. Indeks keanekaragaman echinodermata adalah 1,865, nilai ini mengindikasikan bahwa indeks keanekaragaman echinodermata pada lokasi penelitian sedang, indeks kemerataannya adalah 0,789, nilai ini mengindikasikan bahwa kemerataan echinodermata penelitian rendah, pada lokasi penelitian sangat jauh berbeda atau tidak merata, indeks kekayaannya adalah 62,033 ini mengindikasikan kekayaan echinodermata rendah. Nilai rata-rata dominanasinya adalah 0,032 masuk dalam kategori rendah. Hubungan factor fisik kimia lingkungan terhadap keanekaragaman terlihat bahwa nilai korelasi adalah 1,013 dan ketika dilakukan uji lanjut menggunakan uji t, maka terlihat bahwa t hitung 10,90 ˃ t table 2,015 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara factor fisik kimia lingkungan dengan keanekaragaman. Hubungan factor fisik kimia lingkungan terhadap dominanasi echinodermata terlihat bahwa nilai korelasi adalah 5,127 dan ketika dilakukan uji lanjut menggunakan uji t, maka terlihat bahwa t hitung 1,731 < t table 2,015 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara factor fisik kimia lingkungan dengan dominanasi echinodermata. Kata Kunci: Echinodermata, Faktor Fisik, Keanekaragaman, Kepadatan
