Abstract

Effective and relevant learning plays a key role in improving the quality of education in this modern era. One concept that is currently developing is "Freedom to Learn", which emphasizes individual empowerment in the learning process. The science and technology learning approach (Individual, Choice, Active and Systematic) is one of the strategies used in implementing the Independent Learning concept. The purpose of this article is to present regarding the implementation of science and social learning in the Merdeka Belajar context. This descriptive involves searching and analyzing related articles, journals and publications that discuss the concept of Merdeka Belajar and the science and science learning approach. The results of the literature review show that science learning applied in the Merdeka Belajar context provides a number of benefits for students. This approach gives individuals the freedom to choose materials, methods and learning tempo that suit their needs and interests. In this context, students become the main agents in their own learning process, which encourages intrinsic motivation and personal responsibility. Apart from that, science learning also encourages active involvement of students in the learning process. They are encouraged to be active participants in discussion, collaboration, and problem solving, which helps develop social skills, creativity, and critical thinking. This approach also involves self-evaluation, in which learners independently reflect on their progress and achievements, and make decisions that can improve their learning outcomes. However, the implementation of science and science learning in the Merdeka Belajar context also faces a number of challenges. Some of these challenges include the need to provide adequate support and training to educators to implement this approach effectively, the development of flexible curricula, and the development of infrastructure that supports learner-centered learning.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a concept of plural thinking character which is integrated with an Islamic religious education approach both in practical and practical aspects. At UPN Veteran East Java, through strengthening the National Defense Character, the process of forming a plural thinking character can be analyzed. The diversity that exists at UPN Veteran Jatm certainly creates potential for intersections and gaps in both thought and action, but by forming a plural thinking character these intersections and gaps can be minimized and overcome. A qualitative approach was chosen in this research to look into literacy and other data sources that are closely related to research with the theme of integration of plural thinking characters. The meaning of leading will be answered with the perspective of various thoughts about pluralism. Good pluralism of religions, cultures, traditions and nations. Therefore, the result of this research is the concept of plural thinking character integration which is closely related to awareness of diversity, especially those built at UPN Verteran East Java.

Abstract

The habit of temper tantrums carried out by children aged 2 to 6 years is an attitude that must be controlled well by parents, so that children can grow and develop emotionally well. Certain strategies are needed to overcome the child's temper tantrum habits. The purpose of this study was to determine the form of parenting style in dealing with temper tantrum behavior in early childhood and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors of parenting parents in overcoming temper tantrum behavior in early childhood in Kecamatan Langsa Baro. This research uses a qualitative approach. The subjects (respondents) of the study consisted of three villages in Kecamatan Langsa Baroe, namely Geudubang Jawa, Geudubang Aceh and Paya Bujok Tunong. The research subjects are children with temper tantrum behavior, parents and community experts (psychologists). Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis technique is used to interpret the results of the study which consists of: data reduction, data presentation, and inference. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The form of parenting style in dealing with temper tantrum behavior in early childhood in Langsa BarÔ District is the tendency of parenting parents to overcome temper tantrum behavior such as authoritarian, permissive, and democratic. The supporting factors for parenting parents in overcoming temper tantrum behavior in early childhood in Langsa BarÔ District are: a) Parents' self-efficacy. b) Parents' social support. c) The role of the community of experts (psychologists). While the inhibiting factors include: a) Parents' mistakes because they always comply with the wishes of the child, b) Parents are too authoritarian towards children, c) The inability of children to express their expressions, d) Busy parents so that they pay less attention to children. The conclusion is that there are three strategies used by parents in dealing with children who have a temper tantrum, namely, first, using an authoritarian strategy where the child is forced to follow the wishes of the parents, Second, a permissive strategy, namely the child is given freedom to carry out his wishes, although sometimes the parents also help the child to fulfill their desires, and thirdly, a democratic strategy, where parents give children the freedom to fulfill their desires but under the control of the parents.

Abstract

Many attempts have been made to shape the character of students, but not all of them have yielded satisfactory results. This article aims to investigate how dayah, an Islamic boarding school in Aceh, Indonesia, shapes the character of students. It involved three leading dayah in Aceh namely Dayah Darul Munawwarah in Pidie Jaya District, Dayah Babussalam Al-Hanafiyyah in North Aceh District, and Dayah Darul Ihsan in Aceh Besar District. The data for this qualitative study was collected through participant observation and in-depth interviews with twelve key informants. Then, qualitative descriptive techniques were used to analyze the data. The results showed that students at these educational institutions have characters that are beneficial to citizens such as mutual respect, frugality, discipline, critical thinking, and being protected from bad habits. These characters were formed by a number of treatments and conditions experienced by students while studying in dayah. Apart from interacting with dayah students, teachers, and employees, dayah students also interact with the community which allows them to gain access to the real world and directly confront community problems. This finding leads to some suggestions for teachers, educational institutions, and policymakers to adopt the education system practiced by dayah in shaping student characters.

Abstract

Kesehatan mental mengacu pada kondisi seseorang yang terbebas dari segala bentuk gangguan mental. Kesehatan mental pada peserta didik perlu diperhatikan karena berkaitan dengan permasalahan yang terjadi pada siswa. Kesehatan mental terbagi atas 3 (tiga) komponen yaitu: mental, emosional dan spiritual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam menjaga kesehatan mental siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Wonogiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif fenomenologi dengan kelengkapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, memilah data menyimpulkan serta menyajikan hasil penelitian. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara mendalam (in-depth interview). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) yang diajarkan di sekolah mampu mengoptimalkan potensi dan kemampuan siswa dalam menjaga kesehatan mentalnya. Pembinaan kesehatan mental pada siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Wonogiri dapat diketahui melalui usaha yang dilakukan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dengan tujuan terbentuknya akhlak mulia yaitu menciptakan suasana sekolah yang religius, memberikan teladan yang baik, bekerja sama dengan orang tua/ wali murid, saling memberikan nasehat, membiasakan siswa untuk taat beribadah

Abstract

The challenges of religious moderation are the strengthening of exclusive religious views, attitudes, and behaviors, the high rate of religiously motivated violence, intolerance, the development of religious spirit that is not in harmony with the love of nation and state. The aim is to analyze how the education and training model strengthens religious moderation at the Medan Religious Training Center. This research method is qualitative with a case study approach. The results of the study found an educational model through four pillars of  learning, learning to know, learning to do, learning to  be, learning to live together. The education and training model for strengthening religious moderation in 2014-2019 is a substance model that finds a lot of debate and rejection, so that since 2019 until now the methodological model for combating religious moderation as a solution to solve the problems that occur. It was concluded that strengthening religious moderation in Indonesia is a challenge to the maturity of a multicultural nation. The education and training model must be updet to the times so that the challenges of religious moderation can be solved such as the methodology training model as a solution to solve problems in the aspect of religious moderation.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relevance of Socratic analysis in the application of the dialogue method in elementary schools. The research approach uses descriptive qualitative data collection techniques using documentation studies and literature studies related to this research topic. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Hubmer analysis model, through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or data validation. The findings in this research are that the application of the dialogue method with Socratic analysis to elementary school students needs to pay attention to the stage of students' cognitive development, where there are two stages of cognitive development for elementary school students, students aged 7-11 years who are generally in grades 1- 5 are at the concrete operational stage of cognitive development. Meanwhile, students aged 11-13 years who are generally in grades 5-6 are at the formal operational cognitive development stage. In applying the dialogue method with Socratic analysis, paying attention to students' cognitive development stages is a necessity because this can influence the level of understanding of students' reasoning and the effectiveness of the dialogue process. Obstacles encountered in the dialogue process with Socratic analysis in elementary schools, the language used needs to be adjusted to students' understanding, and external conditions, namely the environment which is often less supportive.

Abstract

In various aspects of life, such as the gentle power of Qatar in publishing Islamic values to the international world in the form of religious values and multiculturalism. Qatar 2022 World Cup is one of the most different hosts of all time. Qatar's attitude shows that Islam is a religion that calls for good things for humans. This study uses a qualitative method with a library research and journal approach related to Religious-Multiculturalism Values in the 2022 Qatar World Cup Football Event. This research shows that Islam is not a religion that does not respect human differences, it also shows that Islam is an exclusive teaching. which is intended for followers who were born to Muslim parents, but Islam can also be learned and known by non-Muslims.

Abstract

Kemampuan mahasiswa dalam membaca dan menulis al-Quran ditingkat FITK khususnya hasilnya belum memuaskan. Dalam Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia (KKNI) ditetapkan bahwa kualifikasi lulusan FITK sesuai Rumusan Capaian Pembelajaran (Learning Outcomes) mahasiswa wajib memiliki keterampilan umum di antaranya, yaitu mampu membaca dan menulis al-Qur’an dengan baik dan benar. Mahasiswa dapat membaca al-Qur,an dengan baik dan benar, kedua mahasiswa diharapkan dapat menulis al-Qur,an dengan baik dan benar. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah pengembangan program pengajaran. Model pengembangan yang dipakai model desain Research and Development (R&D). Dalam penelitian ini tujuh tahap yaitu penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi awal, perencanaan, pengembangan format produk awal, uji coba awal, revisi produk, uji lapangan, dan revisi produk akhir. Prosedur pengembangan mengembangkan produk dan memvalidasi produk. Hal ini dibukti dengan masih banyaknya mahasiswa ketika membaca dan menulis al-Quran masih belum lancar dan fasih serta menulis belum baik dan benar. Ketidaklancaran itu nampak ketika mahasiswa di uji dalam membaca al-Quran masih terbata-bata. Bahkan kekurangfasihan mahasiswa dalam melafalkan huruf-huruf al-Quran terlihat pada sulitnya mereka mengucapkan dengan fasih sesuai dengan kaidah ilmu tajwid atau tata cara membaca al-Quran. Menghasilkan program pembinaan baca tulis Al-Qur’an bagi mahasiswa di Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. Menghasilkan produk berupa buku kurikulum BTA, buku pedoman BTA mahasiswa, dan buku pedoman BTA dosen.

Abstract

Balancing economic, social and environmental impacts in tourism management is a problem faced by the Gayo Highlands region. This research aims to reveal the development of green tourism in the Gayo Highlands using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate) learning model. The results showed that the development of green tourism in the Gayo Highlands could be done through 1) Environmental conservation, 2) Waste management and cleaning, 3) Renewable energy, 4) Use of sustainable transport, 5) Environmental education, and 6) Water and energy management for the environment responsibility component. For the experiential richness component, green tourism development can be done by 1) Knowledgeable tour guides, 2) Educational information, 3) Interactive experience, 4) Service quality, 5) Nature experience, and 6) Assessment of tourist satisfaction. For the cultural diversity component, green tourism development can be done through: 1) Promotion of cultural heritage, 2) Cultural tourism, 3) Cultural involvement in the local economy, 4) Respect for culture, 5) Counselling and education of tourists, and 6) Maintaining language heritage. As for the economic vitality component, green tourism development can be done through 1) Development of small and micro enterprises, 2) Providing training and education to residents, 3) Partnerships with local communities, 4) Local purchasing, 5) Local community involvement in planning, 6) Measuring social impacts. Through an approach that considers Maqashid Sharia, green tourism can be an effective means to achieve the goals of environmental protection, social welfare, and economic sustainability.
