Abstract

The religious environment was born from a family who understood the concept of Islamic Religious Education. The concept of Islamic Religious Education is formed according to human needs in life. The success of understanding Islamic Religious Education correctly will lead to the ability to manage and create a religious environment, a religious environment born from the family environment as the first place to explore abilities comfortably and safely. This study aims to determine the parents' understanding of Islamic religious education in shaping a religious environment. This research was conducted in 8 Hidayatullah Islamic Boarding Schools, carried out from January 5 to June 28, 2022. The method used was quantitative, with a sample of 223 people selected based on purposive sampling. Data retrieval is done by distributing a Google form questionnaire. The questions were developed in 7 items and validated through feed debriefing. Data were analyzed through basic percentages. The results showed that most parents understand Islamic Religious Education so as to create a religious environment. The implications of this research are expected to be a reference and consideration for parents, government and educational institutions in developing an understanding of Islamic Religious Education so as to form a family that is able to create religiosity in their lives.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of teacher welfare, work motivation and competence on the performance of SMPN teachers throughout Tulang Bawang Regency. The form of this research is quantitative in the form of a survey. The study was conducted during July 2021. The population in this study were all 1110 SMPN teachers in Tulang Bawang Regency. Banjar Baru District was chosen as the research sample, with a total of 82 teachers. Districts become clusters in this study, so there are 15 clusters, the sample in this study is 10% of the population, namely 1 cluster. The data analysis technique used in this research is Multiple Linear Analysis, Coefficient of Determination Test, and F Test. Based on the hypothesis test results, teacher welfare (X1), and work motivation (X2). Competence (X3) significantly contributes and affects teacher performance (Y) either partially or simultaneously.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the concept of personality and education in the Qur'an and its relevance to character education. This research is qualitative descriptive research through literature study and content analysis methods. The results show that the concept of personality in the Qur'an can be categorized in many forms, but can be categorized into five personal points with the spirit of mu'min, muṣliḥ, mujāhid, muta'āwin, and mutqin. The concept of character education in the Qur'an can be formulated in the form of a balanced remembrance and thought, consistently carrying out worship, leaving the bad, and carrying out all forms of goodness. The relevance of personality to character education can be seen from efforts to educate the soul to become a believer who has an attitude of faith above a straight faith, worships according to instructions, and has a noble character. As for the soul of a muṣliḥ, mujāhid, muta'āwin, and mutqin, it can be seen from the effort to continue learning to teach science, preaching by preventing the bad and inviting the good, as well as patience, cooperation (gotong royong), striving for the best (professionalism), of every trust given. The application of character education based on the personality of the Qur'an with the Islamic Worldview is an effort to view everything based on faith in Allah, faith in revelation, faith in the Prophet, and so on.

Abstract

Dinas Sosial provinsi Sumatera Utara memaksimalkan penggunaan website sebagai pengaplikasian dari digitalisasi pelayanan kepada publik. Namun, dalam pemanfaatannya, terdapat berbagi masalah yang timbul seperti masih ada informasi yang tidak dapat diakses, selain itu media sosial yang dimiliki oleh Dinas sosial provinsi Sumatera Utara dinilai masih kurang aktif dalam menyebarkan informasi yang ada serta masih kurang interaktif dengan masyarakat. Setelah penelitian yang dilakukan ternyata banyak sekali faktor penyebab masalah tersebut muncul. Tujuan penelitian ini secara gamblang ialah untuk mengetahui dan memberikan gambaran umum tentang pemanfaatan website untuk pemberian pelayanan kepada masyarakat di Dinas Sosial Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pemanfaatan website belum didukung oleh tiga elemen digitalisasi pelayanan publik dalam pelaksanaan e-goverment. Selain itu, penggunaan website juga belum ditopang dengan ketersediaan sumber daya manusia yang terbilang mumpuni, sajian informasi website juga belum menyediakan informasi yang dinilai up to date. Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah, pemanfaatan website sebagai bentuk digitalisasi pelayanan publik di Dinas Sosial provinsi Sumatera Utara sudah terlaksana dengan baik, kemudian pengaruhnya terhadap pendidikan Islam tetapi dinilai perlu adanya upaya memaksimalkan keterbatasan infrastruktur dan peningkatan keahlian juga keterampilan skill daripada sumber daya manusia terutama dalam pengelolaan website dinas sosial provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap seberapa besar pengaruh panca jiwa dalam menanamkan akhlak pada diri santri. Falsafah hidup yang ditanamkan pondok pesantren modern Ar-Raudhatul Hasanah dan Mawaridusslam kepada para santrinya adalah Panca Jiwa, yang meliputi jiwa keikhlasan, jiwa kesederhanaan, jiwa berdikari, jiwa ukhuwah islamiyah dan jiwa bebas. Suatu hal yang menarik dalam kontek ini, Panca  Jiwa merupakan falsafah, dasar dan prinsip hidup di pesantren yang mengandung nilai-nilai pendidikan akhlak yang berpengaruh terhadap kepribadian santri serta menjadi pedoman ketika mereka hidup diluar pesantren, dan mampu mengaplikasikan dirinya di masyarakat. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan historis. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan telaah dokumen. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara menyusun data, menghubungkan data, mereduksi, menyajikan dan kemudian menyimpulkan. Sedangkan untuk mencapai reliabilitas data penelitian yang telah terkumpul, yang kemudian diuji keabsahan datanya yang meliputi: kepercayaan (credibility), keteralihan (tranferability), kebergantungan (defendability), dan kepastian (komfirmability). Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa melalui Panca Jiwa; menanamkan  jiwa nerimo; ikhlas (sepi ing pamrih), jiwa kewajaran sesuai dengan kebutuhan, menanamkan jiwa tanggungjawab tidak selalu berharap pada orang lain, jiwa kebersamaan, serta jiwa menerima perbedaan pandangan.

Abstract

The rise of violence among students gives the impression that barren education gives birth to students with noble character. This research studies the contents of the Islamic Religious Education and Morals Education textbook for Junior High Schools (SMP), a student handbook. The main problem is what values are contained in the PAI SMP textbooks and their relevance to the realities of junior high school students' lives. Researchers analyzed three things: First, the prospect of Islamic religious education textbooks in solving the problems of adolescent life in junior high school. Second, values become the content of Islamic religious education textbooks in answering the problems of junior high school youth life. Third, Solutions to adolescent problems in junior high schools are offered through Islamic religious education textbooks Junior High School (SMP) level. It was found that the entire material for Islamic Religious Education textbooks in junior high schools contained five crucial issues: Tawhid, Morals, History, Tolerance, and Obedience. The five issues are broken down into various messages, all identified into 31 forms of messages, where messages about obedience and tolerance are the most significant frequency compared to other messages. Islamic Religious Education Textbooks for Junior High Schools published by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2013 have met the standard criteria for aspects of Islamic knowledge that are the needs of students in junior high schools. Therefore, increasing the effectiveness of using Islamic Religious Education textbooks is recommended.

Abstract

This qualitative research with a phenomenological approach aims to explore the pattern of internalizing the values of religious moderation to prevent the development of radical understanding among students. The research informants comprised 10 academic leaders with strategic positions as policymakers and 13 lecturers who teach religious subjects at IAIN Curup. Data collection techniques used semi-structured interviews and the Miles and Huberman analysis model. Checking the validity of the data is done by extending the interview and triangulation of sources. The results of the study show that the internalization of religious moderation values to prevent the development of radical understanding among students is carried out by inserting religious moderation values into courses, internalizing religious moderation values through the learning process, integrating religious moderation values through various student activities, internalization of the values of religious moderation through field practice, community service and special programs.

Abstract

Amerika Serikat negara yang mayoritas penduduknya non-muslim menjadi daya tarik tersendiri bagi para tokoh cendekiawan Muslim dari berbagai dunia, untuk melakukan dakwah sekaligus pengembangan keilmuan. Salah satu cara yang dilakukan oleh Indonesia Muslim Foundation (IMFO) sebagai organisasi Muslim Indonesia di Amerika, khususnya di LA dan sekitarnya diawali dengan mendirikan Majelis Ta’lim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kehidupan keagamaan Muslim Indonesia yang berdomisili di Los Angeles Amerika, terutama dalam kaitannya dengan peran Majelis Ta’lim sebagai penguatan Aqidah masyarakat Muslim. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode library research, dimana penelitian menggunakan berbagai literatur baik buku, catatan, maupun laporan hasil dari penelitian terdahulu dalam pengambilan datanya. Hasil penelitian yang peneliti peroleh yaitu pertama, Majelis Ta’lim sebagai lembaga pendidikan nonformal menjadi modal sosial dan kultural masyarakat Indonesia di Los Angeles dan sekitarnya. Kedua, Indonesia Muslim Foundation (IMFO) sebagai wadah menunjukkan identitas diri untuk memperjelas eksistensi Muslim Indonesia di USA. Ketiga, pengokohan tuntutan identitas keberislaman masyarakat Muslim di Los Angeles Amerika Serikat.

Abstract

This study aims to find the social capital owned by Salafi education, which causes it thrive in the midst of resistance and diversity of Islamic educational institutions in Lombok. This field research uses qualitative-descriptive analysis, with the analytical framework of Reivich's theory of resilience, Shattle's and Boerdeou's social capital theory. The data was collected through observation, interviews, documentation and netnography; namely searches on social media such as on YouTube, Facebook, and online TV. The data are presented deductively and then processed using the Milles and Haberman procedure. Data analysis was carried out in several stages such as; data collection, data reduction, data display and data verification. This study found that social capital that strengthens the resilience and immunity of Salafi education from external threats includes several things; financial capital, social bonding, social linking, curriculum branding, and the boarding school system. The acceptance and appreciation of the community along with  the increasingly widespread field of da'wah for Salafi groups in Lombok are strong indications that shows Salafist educational institutions have better prospects, even in the future. On the other hand, the rapid development of Salafi education in Lombok has become a place for the proliferation of Salafi proponents and purificative spirits. Thus, this fact will certainly have the potential to increase tensions in the future, especially ideological conflicts, in the midst of the majority moslems Lombok community whom adhere to Ahlussunah wal-jama'ah.

Abstract

Research on islamic educational values in the process of descending the Qur'an is a study that aims to discuss and explore the wisdom or values of Islamic education conceived from the process of descending The Qur'an gradually and gradually and in accordance with the events experienced by the Prophet Muhammad saw and the muslims at that time. This research seeks to introduce the values of Islamic education from the process of descending the noble Qur'an to the world of Islamic education to be implemented in the learning process. The research method used in this study uses a qualitative method with an analytical description approach that aims to explain and describe the problems studied authentically, literatively and thematically, as well as scientifically analyze the object of research that give birth to conclusions. The source of this research is library (Library Research) , by tracing and examining classical and contemporary literature related to the history of the Qur'an, especially the process of the descent of the Qur'an. The results of this study are, first; The value of Islamic education in the process of the descent of the Qur'an gradually contains Islamic educational values that are moral in the nature of personal character (al-qiyam al-khuluqiyah ad-zatiyah) namely integrity personality in the form of patience and determination in the teaching and learning process. Second: Spiritual and priesthood Values (al-qiyam al-imaniyah), which must be instilled in the learners. Thirth: The character value of morality (al-qiyam al-akhulukiyah ad-dzatiyah). Fourth: Morality value of behavior/character (al-qiyam al-akhlakiyah as-sulukiyah) and Fifth: Value of social morality (al-qiyam al-akhlakiyah al-ijtima'iyah)
