First, the foster caregivers act as badals of the parents of their foster children. Second, the foster caregivers act as badal for the teacher/teacher of their foster children. Third, foster caregivers act as facilitators for their foster children. Fourth, foster caregivers become uswah for students who become their foster children. It is hoped that this will help the pesantren to streamline and maximize online learning at the pesantren to achieve the educational goals expected by all parties.

Abstract

Formulating the goals of Islamic education must be prioritized before formulating other educational elements. Concern about educational goals is more important than concerns about educational materials or methods because educational materials and methods can change from time to time, while educational goals do not change. It is always constant and does not change. From an Islamic perspective, the purpose of education must be in line with the goal of human creation, namely to serve oneself or worship al-Kholiq Subhanahu Wata'ala and carry out the duties of the caliphate. Worship in Islam reaches to touch all aspects of life. It is not only limited to the rituals (asy-sya'aa'ir), which we are familiar with in prayer, fasting, zakat, and hajj. However, it also includes all movements and all activities that can improve human life quality or prosper human beings. Concerning the relationship with the Rabb of humans, they are servants of Allah. Meanwhile, about the relationship with the universe (kaun), man is the caliph. Therefore, it can be said that human life's purpose is to fulfill servitude and devotion - in a broad sense - to Allah Ta'ala. At the same time, his role on earth is as caliph (leader) in this universe

Abstract

Islamization of Science is a necessity for the world of Islamic education today. Western civilization with its worldview has hegemony in almost all lines of the academic world. As a result, standards, policies, and concepts of science are more determined by Western perspectives than Islamic perspectives. This issue becomes an increasingly important issue for immediate response because the effects of secularization transplanted into science in the Islamic world have led to the confusion of the concept of science. This research was conducted at Sultan Agung Islamic University (UNISSULA) Semarang. Which aims to describe the concept and application of Islamic culture in terms of the perspective of Islamization of science. This study uses a qualitative research method using an evaluation approach as the analysis knife. Primary data and data sources were obtained from the head of the foundation, the Chancellor, the Vice Chancellor of three fields of curriculum and student affairs, initiators of Islamic Culture, leaders, lecturers, administrative staff, students, and UNISSULA alumni. The secondary data sources are from reading sources from libraries or various other sources that are considered relevant and supportive in providing research data. Thus the Islamization of contemporary science is a necessity that cannot be negotiable in the development of Islamic education.
