Abstract

The goal of this study was to determine the effect of democratic leadership on the quality of processing higher education institutions (PT) on PGRI-based in East Java. This study employed a correlational quantitative research approach. The population of this study included all leaders of Private Higher Education (PTS) in the LLDIKTI VII East Java area, with a total of 60 samples chosen at random. With a 95 percent confidence level, the maximum error rate considered in this study was 5%. Based on the SPSS 26 test results, it was known that the instrument of democratic leadership style (X) and improving the quality of PT management (Y) was declared 'valid' with a calculated r value (X) of 0.758 and (Y) of 0.798 (with a r table value of 0.308). Cronbach Alpha values of 0.811 (X) and 0.856 (Y) indicated high reliability. The results of hypothesis testing (I) obtained the regression equation, namely Y = -2.765 + 0.225X, and the results of hypothesis testing (2) obtained t arithmetic (1.341) > t table (1.256) and a significance value of 0.02 > 0.05, so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted, which means that the democratic leadership style variable has a significant influence (there is still a low category influence relationship) on the quality of management of PGRI-based universities in East Java.

Abstract

Character education in schools is a severe problem, so it is necessary to find its root and solution. Various policies and formulations of character education have been made by the government and implemented in each school, but so far have not shown the expected results. Different deviations in student behavior at each level of education are still found, such as brawls between students, promiscuity and immorality, drug abuse, and other irresponsible behavior. This study aims to reveal data related to the visionary leadership of the principal as a driver of the character education system at SMA PLUS PGRI Cibinong, Bogor Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection tools using interview, observation, and documentation studies.Meanwhile, the triangulation technique was used to test the validity of the data. The results showed that the principal, with his visionary leadership, had been able to mobilize all components of the character education system at SMA PLUS PGRI Cibinong, Bogor Regency, to create a conducive school environment for the implementation of student character education. The success of this school has been recognized nationally so that it becomes a reference school or a comparative study destination for schools in Indonesia in the implementation of character education.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi yang sangat masif saat ini  berpengaruh pada hampir semua  aspek kehidupan manusia termasuk aspek berbangsa dan bernegara. Identitas karakter kebangsaan  menjadi  modal sosial yang sangat mendasar dalam pergaulan masyarakat global. Diperlukan upaya yang sistematis untuk memperkuat Karakter Kebangsaan pada generasi muda Indonesia saat ini, supaya Generasi muda Indonesia dapat menjadi warga masyarakat global dengan identitas karakter kebangsaan  yang kokoh. Maka Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis upaya penguatan nilai-nilai Karakter Kebangsaan bagi siswa di Madrasah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dimana teknik pengambilan datanya dilakukan dengan tehnik wawancara dan observasi langsung. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Madrasah Aliyah Negri 1 Garut dan Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pangandaran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa upaya penguatan karakter kebangsaan  siswa di Madrasah  dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan integratif holistik melalui  program insersi dalam mapel  PAI,  proses pembiasaan dalam kegiatan ekskul Madrasah ,  serta peneladanaan oleh civitas Madrasah.

Abstract

This paper discusses the role of the Ash-Shidqi remembrance assembly in the city of Medan in improving the quality of religious education for the people of Medan. This research is a field research using qualitative methods. The data collection process was carried out by the author by interviewing the chairman and management of the Ash-Shidqi remembrance assembly, while in analyzing the data the author applied several stages; compiling data, connecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. This study found that in improving the quality of religious education for the people of Medan, the As-Shidqi remembrance assembly launched three programs, as for the three programs as follows: First, an educational scholarship program for underprivileged and high achievers. Second, the program for distributing the Qur'an and books to Islamic boarding schools and tahfidz houses. Third, religious education program for the general public. The program consists of three activities; regular recitations every Sunday, tahlilan, and pre-marital education.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the dynamics of development and discourse of Islamic education in studying with a futuristic approach, how the challenges and opportunities of Islamic education in the Revolutionary Era 4.0 are commonly referred to as the Era of Disruption. The method used is qualitative research method with library approach, the primary source used is literature, journals, and books related to the topic discussed. The discussion results showed various forms of opportunities and challenges faced by Islamic education in Indonesia, especially in the era of disruption, whose signs begin with globalization. Despite many options, Islamic education should also be wary of challenges. This study found various challenges, namely the ability of Islamic education to harmonize divine verses with kauniyah verses, maintaining the process of Islamization of science. Harmonize the God-human relationship in the form of a the-anthropo-centric education with the point of the press; man is a noble being of God. Harmonizing between faith and knowledge cannot be separated. He is adjusting between the fulfillment of spiritual needs (spiritual-ukhrowi) and the realization of physical (material-earthly) needs and harmonizing between revelation and intellect (thinking, critical and rational).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out (1). Describe the PAI learning model in developing religious humanism at SMAN Purwakarta. (2). Describe the religious humanist character of students at SMAN 2 Purwakarta. Methods: This study uses a qualitative approach that describes the phenomena that occur in the field. Data collection techniques through (1). In-depth interviews with volunteers to obtain data (2). Direct observation of the field to find phenomena that occur in the field (3). Study documentation to complete data in the form of photos, important notes, archives, and others related to the research focus. The conclusions are: (1). PAI learning models in developing religious humanism include exemplary models, question and answer models, discussion models, project models and practice models. (2). The religious humanist character of the students is (1). Respect and obey the teacher, (2). Respect for other school members (3). Loving friends at school and friends outside school (4). Have a passion for learning and high motivation to learn, as well as diligent in learning

Abstract

Guru dan peserta didik merupakan komponen utama untuk tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Selama porses pembelajaran pasti ditemukannya pendukung ataupun hambatan untuk tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran, salah satu hambatan yang hangat saat Covid-19 adalah kesehatan mental. Gangguan kesehatan mental tidak memandang usia, namun usia remaja adalah usia yang paling rentan untuk mengalami gangguan kesehatan mental. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru PAI selama Covid-19, tingkat kesehatan mental siswa, dan untuk mengetahui hubungan peran guru PAI dengan kesehatan mental siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Cibinong. Teknik penelitian ini yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode hubungan atau korelasi (Corelational Reasearch). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa guru PAI berperan selama Covid-19, tingkat kesehatan mental siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Cibinong tegolong lemah, dan hubungan peran guru dengan kesehatan mental siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Cibinong hanya sebesar 33,7 %. Kesehatan mental sendiri tidak bisa semuanya dan selamanya digantungkan kepada guru PAI namun pada prosesnya guru PAI merupakan orang yang mampu dan orang yang terdepan untuk membantu, menjaga dan melindungi kesehatan mental siswa. Pada proses pembelajarannya guru PAI diharapkan meningkatkan mampu semua kuaitas yang ada pada dirinya terutama kualitas-kualitas yang termasuk kedapa komptensi guru, dan guru PAI juga dihapakan dapat menjadi tauladan yang baik

Abstract

The term Islamophobia is defined as prejudice, inclination towards hatred, and also a form of cultural racism. A study conducted by Henk Dekker and Jolanda van der Noll entitled 'Islamophobia and Its Origins: A Study Among Dutch Youth' to 580 adolescents in the Netherlands in 2006, has confirmed that 54% of the respondents had negative views about Islam and Muslims. Walisongo was known as a propagator of Islam in the land of Java, the intellectuals and reformers of Javanese society at the beginning of the 17th century. From the nine people of Walisongo, Sunan Ampel was the one who was known as the creator of Pegon Jawa letters, which was used as a medium in transforming knowledge and Islamic teachings to be better understood by the society at that time. Until now Pegon Jawa letters are still being used in Islamic boarding schools and madrassas, be it in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. Islamic education is many efforts in educating Islam in a planned manner through various experiences, knowledge, capabilities and skills so that students can recognize, understand, appreciate, and believe in Islamic teachings. Batik is a legacy of wastra art (traditional cloth) that has many stories and high philosophical value in each of its strands. Batik is a cultural achievement, world cultural heritage, that has to be preserved and developed. This research is conducted using qualitative approach, with an effort to describe the reconstruction of the teachings of Sunan Ampel in batik motif Pegon Jawa. Collecting data is conducted through observation, literature studies, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed descriptively. There are three results that come up from this study. First, the reconstruction of the teachings of Sunan Ampel into batik motif Pegon Jawa, secondly, Pegon Jawa letters as an educational media and Islamic cultural art, and third, scientifical social implementation of batik motif Pegon Jawa as an effort to ward off Islamophobia.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui 1) Pentingya manajemen waktu. 2) Konsep dasar Manejemen waktu dalam Islam. Pendekatan kualitataif yang digunakan adalah dengan cara mengumpulkan ayat-ayat Al-Quran dan hadis-hadis  yang berkaitan dengan waktu. Kemudian ayat dan Hadis tentang waktu itu dijelaskan dengan merujuk kepada penjelasan para ulama Tafsir dan para pensyarah hadis. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah menunjukan penitngnya setiap muslim untuk memenej waktunya agar ia sukses dalam segala perannya. Dan konsep manajemen waktu dalam Islam didasarkan atas empat (4) prinsip dasar 1)  pemahaman yang benar mengenai urgensi waktu sehingga merasa penting untuk memanfaatkannya dalam setiap fase dan detik-detiknya. 2) memvariasikan aktivitas dan kegiatan secara seimbang, sehingga semua kegiatan ditunaikan secara moderat dan seimbang. 3) mendistribusikan waktu sesuai dengan fungsi dan kegiatan yang cocok. 4) Fleksibel dan tidak kaku.

Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas membahas tentang pemenuhan biaya pendidikan melalui entrepreneurship: studi pada mahasiswa STIT Al-Amin Kreo Tangerang. Urgensi entrepreneurship bagi mahasiswa, selain menjadi langkah praktis dalam penerapan kurikulum perguruan tinggi, entrepreneurship juga dapat menumbuhkan mental, ide, kreasi dan inovasi, serta dapat menignkatkan efikasi diri yang melaluinya mahasiswa dapat dengan mudah menangkap peluang dan kesempatan dalam setting pendidikan. Dalam konteks STIT Al-Amin Kreo Tangerang, mahasiswa melakukan kegiatan entrepreneurship, tidak saja dilatarbelakangi oleh bisnis semata, tetapi lebih dari itu yaitu sebagai sebuah solusi untuk memenuhi biaya pendidikan mereka. Studi lapangan ini menegaskan bahwa dengan entrepreneurship merobah mindset pikiran mahasiswa untuk lebih memanfaatkan waktu luang untuk melakukan hal-hal yang positif. Meski dalam implementasi mahasiswa menghadapi tantangan dan hambatan, seperti modal dan keterbatasan waktu, tetapi motivasi mereka untuk menjadi sorang sarjana membuat tantangan dan hambatan itu selalu dicarikan solusi sehingga kuliah sambil bisnis mereka tidak terganggu. Di sini entrepreneurship dapat menjadi sebuah solusi atas keterbatasan biaya dalam menempuh pendidikan tinggi di STIT Al-Amin. Apapun prodi pada pendidikan tinggi sudah seharusnya memasukkan materi entrepreneurship dalam mata kuliahnya, apalagi di Era 4.0 mengharuskan seseorang memiliki beragam keterampilan. Karenanya, entrepreneurship dapat menjadi salah satu strategi penumbukembangan mental dan efikasi diri mahasiswa di era yang seba simbiosis-mutualisme seperti sekarang ini. Sebuah perspektif yang mendudukkan inovasi dan kreativitas sebagai usaha menciptakan sesuatu yang bernilai  serta kemampuan menghadapi tantangan dengan cara melihat peluang dari berbagai resiko dan ketidakpastian demi mencapai keuntungan dan pertumbuhan.
