Abstract

This research aims to analyze how much influences the economic growth, inflation and unemployment poverty the province West Sumatra.  Economic growth, inflation and employment panel data were collected from thr Central Statistics Agency in 2014 – 2018 with saturated sampling technique. Multiple regression equation obtained from this study Y = 179,02 -  0.087 X1 – 0,033X2 + 0,006X3 +  e with a coefficient of determination of 0.949 and a correlation coefficient of 0.866 and adjusted R square 0,549 . After testing the hypothesis turns out the hypothesis is accepted where economic growth and inflation significant negative effect on poverty  and unemployment has no significant positive effect on poverty.

Abstract

The Background of this research is to know and to analyze the prediction of company bankruptcy of BUMN Syariah Banks in BEI periods 2012-2017 which focuses object are three companies which have all criteria in analysis by method Z-score Altman and S-Score Springate. As we know, the goal of company is not being bankrupt so that the company needed a method to predict the bankruptcy as soon as possible. This reserch uses Z-Score Altman and S-Score Springate, this methods used to analize financial statements. Goals of this research is to know the potential of bankruptcy, rate of bankruptcy, and insolvensy ranking  of BUMN Syariah Banks in BEI periods 2012-2017. Three companies taken as object are Bank Mandiri Syariah, Bank BNI Syariah and Bank BRI Syariah, analyze by using financial statements by the year 2012 to 2070 to find values of variables and then calculated the value of each variable into Altman’s Formula and Springate’s Formula to produce the score.

Abstract

Based on data obtained at Kimia Farma Pharmacy, it can be seen the number of employees, and incentives at Kimia Farma Pharmacy 2012 - 2017. Incentives are motivating employees to work with optimal abilities, namely as additional income outside the salary or wage that has been determined. Kimia Farma is the first pharmaceutical industry company in Indonesia, which was founded by the Indian government in 1817. Kimia Farma Pharmacy is located in Simpang Pulai Jambi. There are two factors that affect employee incentives, including 1) Material Factors with a value of 135.3 with very high criteria. 2) Non-factors with a value of 132.3 with high criteria. and gives to have an effect on positive to incentives of employees will increase by 1,047%. Based on hypothesis that the incentives affects employees evidenced by 5885 > 2,037. This there significance between the effects incentives of employees  in Kimia Farma Pharmacy. The conclusions drawn from incentives should be fostered and developed so that employees can work with more calm and comfortable, which in turn increases their . Kimia Farma Pharmacy gives incentive to employees who excel by showing a high initiative to resolve workplace issues. Thus employees will be motivated to developed ideas and initiatives that are useful in the workplace.

Abstract

This research was conducted in the police unit of Pamong Praja Batang Hari District as part of regional devices in the enforcement and public order implementation and community tranquility. The purpose of this research is to see how the incentive impact and the discipline of motivation and impact on performance of police unit Pamong Praja Batang Hari District. This research is a research using a method of descriptive and verificative research, which is a method of researching a human group, an object, the situation and condition of a system of thought with a purpose to make a description, a systematic picture according to the facts being investigated. The verificative research aims to examine the hypothesis of the influence between variables of this study. The samples in this study used the census method, which is all employees in the police unit of Batang Hari Distrct, while the data used in this research is the primary data obtained from the results of the statement in questionnaire provided and has been filled by each employee in the police unit Pamong Praja Batang Hari District, the data analysis technique that data used is path analysis, with the help of software program SPSS version 22. The results of this study showed that the free variables of incentive and discipline positively and significantly affect the employee's motivation and have a positive and significant impact on the employee performance of the Pamong Praja Police unit at Batang Hari District, this proves that with the increase of incentives and discipline in the police unit Pamong Praja Batang Hari District, it will also increase the motivation that will impact the improvement of employee performance in the police unit Pamong Praja Batang Hari District.

Abstract

In the era of the digital revolution, human resources became an important factor in the success of the company. Companies are required to be able to turn challenges into opportunities that can be more productive, innovative, and adaptive in each generation. The purpose of this study is to determine the challenges and opportunities for human resource management at Grand Hotel Jambi and determine strategies in developing human resources to increase productivity at the Grand Hotel Jambi. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques are used as follows observation, interview, documentation, and literature study. The validity of the data uses triangulation of examination techniques using sources. The results of this study are the challenges faced by the Grand Hotel Jambi human resource management in the industrial revolution 4.0, the difficulty in getting education staff majoring in hospitality, the low ability of technology and foreign languages. Technological advances provide opportunities for Grand Hotel Jambi to increase productivity such as increasing hotel bookings due to providing information and promotions to customers more quickly. Then Grand Hotel Jambi continues to make changes in policy and program strategies for human resource development such as applying 3 aspects of assessment namely work discipline employees, attitude in work and employee skills. In addition, organizing training programs to develop the skills, knowledge and attitudes of employees. The training program must analyze 3 processes, namely company analysis, employee qualification analysis, employee performance analysis

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between green marketing, customer value, and purchasing decision of Low Cost Green Car (LCGC) in Jambi City. To analyze customer value as mediating or intervening variable, Path Analysis with SPSS for Windows 21.0. software is used to confirm the relationship between variables. There are 120 respondents who are as Low Cost Green Car (LCGC) consumer and decision maker of buying it in Jambi City, that participated in this research by fulfill questionnaires. The results show that green marketing and customer value are important variables which each variable has influence on purchasing decision, and customer value acts as a mediating variable of green marketing to purchasing decision. This study needs to be followed up again to see what factors are can influence the decision to purchase a Low Cost Green Car (LCGC) in Jambi City.

Abstract

This study aims to describe plagiarism in writing final assignments for students at STIE Jambi. This research was conducted at the Management Study Program at STIE Jambi. Data were collected through interviews and in-depth observations, and analyzed using explanatory approaches, specifically qualitative descriptive techniques. The findings obtained indicate that plagiarism in thesis writing includes duplication, which consists of (1) duplication of titles, (2) duplicate themes, (3) duplication of theories, (4) duplication of data, and (5) duplication of references. The process approach in writing this thesis can be used to prevent plagiarism. Such an approach consists of the following steps: return the draft thesis, show the original source, and cancel the thesis. This can be done by investigating, discussing, evaluating, and presenting the title and substance of the thesis. And the final results of finalizing the thesis are done by doing book printing, the printing of this book is intended as a reference material, input and knowledge / teaching material for the next student in scientific writing / thesis writing techniques to avoid plagiarism and increasing interest in writing scientific papers .

Abstract

The importance of a tourist destination in promoting cultural heritage and indeed its contribution to the tourism industry as a whole. Diversity in culture must be seen as a strength in the marketing of food tourism. The impact of culinary tourism is huge and can improve the overall economy of any country. Tourists are more inclined to continue to demand more traditional food because this allows access to cultural and historical heritage of various cultures to make it more authentic. Culinary arts is one of the attractions for tourists who are traveling with the aim of enjoying various types of food typical of places that are headed. Culinary tourism is part of agribusiness that focuses specifically on searching for, and enjoying, preparing food and drinks. Several goals have taken the concept of sustainability to a new level and have begun to offer food and beverage oriented. The research method used in this research is descriptive method with data processing in this study carried out qualitatively and quantitatively, with Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) analysis. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is used as a tool to determine which strategies should be prioritized by the Kerinci Regency to support the marketing activities of Culinary Tourism.

Abstract

Water tourism Danau Sipin Jambi is very potential to be done development, it is expected to grow a positive image on tourists visiting the water tourism Danau Sipin Jambi. The precise positioning strategy of the water tourism development of Danau Sipin Jambi positively impacts mainly in socio-economic. The purpose of the study are: (1) identifying influence between positioning strategies on visiting decisions; (2) Identify the influence between the positioning strategies on the destination image; (3) Identification of influences between the destination image and visiting decision; (4) Identification of the destination image role capable of the influence of positioning strategy against the visiting decision. Population used is the community of Jambi city while the sample is a community of Jambi city that more than once visited Danau Sipin Jambi as much as 200 people. The data method uses path analysis. The results of the research are known that the positioning strategy provides a significant influence on the destination image, positioning strategy and destination image to give a significant influence on the visit decision and the image of the destination can be The influence of positioning strategies on visiting decisions

Abstract

Indomie Instant Noodle is one of the products of instant noodles favored by consumers because it produces a variety of variations that are in the form of fried noodles (ordinary fried noodles, special fried foods, noodles club taste roasted chicken, jumbo fried noodles) and in the form of Mie Kuah (flavored chicken broth, chicken curry flavor, onion chicken flavor, special chicken flavor, Soto Ayam flavor). Indomie instant noodle products that are made in a variety of variations are tailored to the tastes of consumers who are also varied, which are always changing as the environment changes, also according to the consumer behavior itself. Therefore, every production of instant noodle Indomie always produce various products that are varied and adjusted to the condition of the region. This research aims to analyse the influence of cultural variables on the decision to purchase Indomie instant noodle products. The results of this study showed that there was a significant influence of the cultural variables on Indomie instant noodle product purchasing decision.
