Abstract

Human resource is central factor and vital component for the organization for the activity in the organization to run effectively and efficiently so that the organization is able to achieve the expected goal. The purposes of study are to determine the effect of leadership style on employee performance, organizational culture on employee performance and leadership style and organizational culture on on employee performance at the Sub-District Office of Pangakalan Jambu of Merangin Regency. This research method is quantitative and using multiple linear regression. The independent variable is leadership style (X1) and organizational culture (X2), the dependent variable is performance (Y). Populations and samples are employees, amounted to 30 people. The results of this study that the partial leadership style does not have a significant positive effect on employee performance and organizational culture have a significant positive effect on employee performance. While simultaneously that leadership style and organizational culture have a significant positive effect on employee performance. For R2 values obtained 0.428 or 42.8% variation of the dependent variable in this case the performance can be explained by independent variables of leadership style and organizational culture.Sumber daya manusia merupakan faktor sentral dan komponen vital bagi organisasi agar aktivitas di organisasi bisa berjalan secara efektif dan efesien sehingga organisasi mampu mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja pegawai, budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Camat Pangakalan Jambu Kabupaten Merangin. Metode penelitian bersifat kuantitatif dan menggunakan model regresi linear berganda. Variabel bebas adalah gaya kepemimpinan (X1) dan budaya organisasi (X2), variabel terikat adalah kinerja (Y). Populasi dan sampel merupakan pegawai pada Kantor Camat Pangkalan Jambu berjumlah 30 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara parsial gaya kepemimpinan tidak berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dan budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Sedangkan secara simultan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Untuk nilai R2 diperoleh 0.428 atau 42.8% variasi variabel dependen dalam hal ini kinerja dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel independen gaya kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the factors that influence managers’ productivity at PT. SUCOFINDO (Persero). Where was researchers wanted to see whether the training and motivation effect on managers’ productivity. The type of data used was qualitative and quantitative data. Source of data were two kinds of primary data and secondary data. In this study, researchers used data needed by doing of direct observation in the relevant company, either through observation, questionnaires and interviews. The number of samples were  taken from this study as many as 100 managers’s. Based on the analysis it can be concluded that evident from the calculations, the t-count was 4.005 with sig. 0000. This means that there is a positive and significant impact partially between the independent variable training to variable productivity. The calculation result obtained t count was 3.217 with sig. 0002. This means that there is a positive and significant effect partially between the independent variable motivation and the dependent variable productivity. F test support the hypothesis that training and motivation influence simultanously managers’ productivity. The result of coefficient determination was 46.1 percent, which was meant that other factors influenced managers productivity was 53.9 percent. Therefore, for further research that examines other factors that can affect managers’ productivity.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan dan motivasi terhadap produktivitas manajer. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Sumber data ada dua jenis, yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, kuesioner dan wawancara. Jumlah sampel yang diambil dari penelitian ini sebanyak 100 manajer. Berdasarkan analysis dapat disimpulkan bahwa terlihat dari perhitungan, t-hitung adalah 4.005 dengan sig. 0000. Ini berarti bahwa ada dampak positif dan signifikan secara parsial antara pelatihan variabel independen terhadap variabel hasil perhitungan produktivitas. Dan diperoleh t hitung adalah 3.217 dengan sig. 0002. Ini berarti bahwa ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial antara variabel independen dan motivasi pada variabel dependen produktivitas. Uji F mendukung hipotesis bahwa pelatihan dan motivasi berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap produktivitas manajer. Hasil penentuan koefisien adalah 46.1 persen, yang berarti bahwa faktor-faktor lain yang mempengaruhi produktivitas manajer adalah 53.9 persen. Oleh karena itu, peneliti berharap untuk penelitian lebih lanjut diharapkan meneliti faktor-faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi produktivitas manajer yang belum diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the challenges and opportunities for human resource management and determine strategies to develop human resources for employees to increase productivity at the Grand Hotel Jambi. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques are used as follows observation, interview, documentation, and literature study. The validity of the data uses triangulation of examination techniques using sources. The results of this study are the challenges faced by the Grand Hotel Jambi human resource management in the industrial revolution 4.0, difficulties in getting education staff majoring in hospitality, low technology and foreign languages. Current technological advances provide opportunities for Grand Hotel Jambi to increase productivity such as increasing hotel bookings due to providing information and promotions to customers more quickly. Grand Hotel Jambi continues to make changes in program policies and strategies for human resource development. Grand Hotel Jambi applies 3 aspects of assessment to employees, including employee work discipline, attitude to work and employee skills. In addition, the Grand Hotel Jambi held a training program to develop the skills, knowledge and attitudes of employees. The training program must analyze 3 processes, namely company analysis, employee qualification analysis, employee performance analysis. Di era revolusi digital, sumber daya manusia menjadi faktor penting dalam keberhasilan perusahaan. Perusahaan yang mampu mengubah tantangan menjadi peluang bisa lebih produktif, inovatif, dan adaptif di setiap generasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tantangan dan peluang untuk manajemen sumber daya manusia di Grand Hotel Jambi dan menentukan strategi untuk mengembangkan sumber daya manusia bagi karyawan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas di Grand Hotel Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data digunakan sebagai berikut observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi literatur. Validitas data menggunakan triangulasi teknik pemeriksaan dengan menggunakan sumber. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah tantangan yang dihadapi oleh manajemen sumber daya manusia Grand Hotel Jambi dalam revolusi industri 4.0, kesulitan mendapatkan staf pendidikan jurusan perhotelan, rendahnya teknologi dan bahasa asing. Kemajuan teknologi saat ini memberikan peluang bagi Grand Hotel Jambi untuk meningkatkan produktivitas seperti meningkatnya pemesanan hotel dikarenakan memberikan informasi dan promosi kepada pelanggan lebih cepat. Di era digitalisasi, Grand Hotel Jambi terus melakukan perubahan dalam kebijakan dan strategi program untuk pengembangan sumber daya manusia. Grand Hotel Jambi menerapkan 3 aspek penilaian untuk karyawan, termasuk disiplin kerja karyawan, sikap dalam pekerjaan dan keterampilan karyawan. Selain itu, Grand Hotel Jambi mengadakan program pelatihan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan, pengetahuan dan sikap karyawan. Program pelatihan harus menganalisis 3 proses, yaitu analisis perusahaan, analisis kualifikasi karyawan, analisis kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, requires improving the quality of human resources, in particular for government officials in providing services to the public. Many attempts were made by the government and the community to improve the situation. But the performance of the civil service is still cause for concern. Well as civil servants, motivation and discipline are the factors that important role in achieving business goals of an organization. This study aims to determine partially the effect of motivation and discipline on the performance and simultaneously the influence  of motivation and discipline on the performance of the Directorate General of Land Transportation Ministry of Transportation. The independent variables are motivation and discipline, the dependent variable is the performance. The research method uses quantitative research. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire based on Likert scale. The sampling method is done randomly. This study population of 60 people and all of the population being sampled (saturated sample). The analytical method used is multiple linear regression. Based on the analysis it can be concluded there is a significant and positive impact partially between motivation on the performance, and there is a positive and significant effect partially between discipline on performance. F Test results support the hypothesis that motivation and discipline simultaneous effect on the performance by 72.3 percent. Other factors that can affect the performance that not yet be studied in this research , recommended  for further research.Keywords: motivation, discipline, employees’ performance

Abstract

Di era digitalisasi, setiap instansi pemerintah diharapkan mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan masyarakat dengan cepat dan berbasis teknologi dalam menghadapi era revolusi industri 4.0. Pemerintah tidak hanya dituntut untuk menyediakan layanan sistem konvensional, tetapi juga menyediakan layanan berbasis teknologi atau elektronik. Kemudian terciptanya kolaborasi antara karyawan dan teknologi sekaligus melayani masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk melihat pengaruh pelayanan publik terhadap kepuasan masyarakat dan pengaruh e-service quality terhadap kepuasan masyarakat di Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Data menggunakan metode kuesioner yang diberikan kepada responden yang menyatakan pernyataan terkait objek penelitian yaitu pelayanan publik, e-service quality dan kepuasan masyarakat. Dalam penelitian pengambilan sampel ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 60 orang. Pengukuran menggunakan variabel skala likert. Teknik pengujian instrumen validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh positif signifikan pelayanan publik terhadap kepuasan masyarakat, ada pengaruh positif signifikan e-services quality terhadap kepuasan masyarakat, dan ada pengaruh positif signifikan kualitas pelayanan publik dan e-service quality secara bersama-sama terhadap kepuasaan masyarakat di Kota Jambi Kata Kunci: Pelayanan Publik, E-Service Quality, Kepuasan Masyarakat

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of competency-based Human resources (HR) development strategies in improving employee performance at Jambi University. This research is descriptive using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the HR development strategy and competency standards in improving employee performance at the University of Jambi are guided by the Main Performance Indicators of State Universities IKU-PTN and the Jambi University Strategic Plan 2021-2024. This strategy has improved the competence of lecturers and education staff.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh stres kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui komitmen organisasional sebagai variabel intervening pada PT. Pegadaian Area Jambi. Target penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT. Pegadaian Area Jambi. Populasi dan sampel untuk penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan PT. Pegadaian Kantor Area Jambi yang berjumlah 21 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel sampling jenuh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui metode kuisioner tersusun. Metode analisa data penelitian ini yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dengan Partial Least Square (PLS) sebagai alat mengolahnya dengan menggunakan program SmartPLS (v.3.2.9). Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa stres kerja tidak berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, stres kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasional karyawan, komitmen organisasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, stres kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui komitmen organisasional karyawan PT.Pegadaian Area Jambi.

Abstract

The model for strengthening the Performance of Sharia Cooperatives / BMT in Jambi Province is a model produced to strengthen the performance of Sharia cooperatives which is measured from the non-financial aspect, because so far the performance measurement of Sharia cooperatives is measured from the financial aspect. However, the measurement of performance from the financial aspect has no impact on performance. This study aims to explore transformational leadership, the use of information technology, partnerships can strengthen the performance of Sharia cooperatives, which have been experiencing slow growth. The survey data used were 33 Sharia cooperatives in Jambi Province, Indonesia, using the variance-based SEM modeling, Partial Least Square (PLS). This research produces a model that Transformational leadership and the use of information technology can strengthen the performance of Sharia cooperatives by building internal and external partnerships. The model illustrates that transformational leadership and the use of information technology have a positive and significant effect on strengthening the performance of Sharia cooperatives, but the influence of transformational leadership and the use of information technology has a greater positive and significant effect when strengthening performance through partnerships that are built.

Abstract

In the era of digitalization, every government agency is expected to be able to solve community problems quickly and be technology-based in facing the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The government is not only required to provide conventional system services, but also to provide technology-based or electronic services. Then the creation of collaboration between employees and technology while serving the community. The research objective was to see the influence of public services on community satisfaction and the influence of e-service quality on community satisfaction in the Jambi City Government in the digitalization era. This research uses descriptive quantitative research. In this technical research, the data used a questionnaire method given to respondents who stated statements related to the object of research, namely public services, electronic service quality and community satisfaction. In this sampling research using purposive sampling technique. Purposive sampling is a sampling technique with considerations that meet the criteria.. The number of samples in this study were 60 people. Measurement using a Likert scale variable. The technique of testing the instrument for validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques used the help of the SPSS 21.0 application. The results showed that there was a significant positive effect of public services on community satisfaction, there was a significant positive effect on the e-services quality on community satisfaction, and there was a significant positive effect of public services and e-services quality on community satisfaction together with the Jambi City government.
