Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of dakwah delivered through TikTok as a digital medium in shaping university students’ religious understanding, as well as to identify the strengths, limitations, and challenges associated with such digital dakwah. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews with eight informants. The findings indicate that TikTok has become a strategic platform for disseminating dakwah messages rapidly through visually engaging content, thereby attracting students who are highly active on social media. However, the platform’s short video duration may result in incomplete delivery of religious material and can lead to misconceptions if not supported by formal religious education and guidance from qualified scholars. The study also reveals that digital dakwah primarily functions as an introduction and an initial source of motivation, whereas deeper religious comprehension still requires conventional learning forums. In conclusion, dakwah via TikTok plays an important role in contemporary religious communication, but it must be supported by digital media literacy among both content creators and audiences to maintain the quality of religious understanding. Formal education should actively complement and integrate digital dakwah to achieve optimal impact. Keywords: Digital Dakwah, TikTok Preaching, Religious Communication

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the historical and socio-economic dynamics of the Balinese transmigration community in Karya Makmur Village, Nibung District, North Musi Rawas Regency, from 2019 to 2025. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results show that the Balinese community has succeeded in maintaining its cultural identity and social structure through the preservation of customs and Hindu religious activities such as Galungan and Nyepi. However, economically, they have experienced significant transformation. The decline in rubber prices and yields since 2020 has encouraged agricultural diversification towards commodities such as chilies, bananas, and oil palm. Oil palm then became the dominant commodity with production reaching 18,796 tons in 2025. The conclusion of this study confirms that the success of transmigration is determined not only by physical factors such as land and infrastructure, but also by cultural resilience and the community's ability to adapt to economic changes. Keywords: Agricultural Economy, Local History, Social Adaptation, Transmigration.

The results of the study indicate that A.M. Thalib had an important role in maintaining Indonesian independence, especially through his role as a broadcaster and fighter who used the Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) media to ignite the spirit of the people's struggle. He was also involved in efforts to defend Palembang from Dutch attacks and actively organized youth and the community. The conclusion of this study confirms that A.M. Thalib was one of the local figures who was influential in maintaining Indonesian sovereignty in the South Sumatra region. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of environmental communication by the fertilizer industry in supporting the development of a sustainable tourism village in Malahing Village, Bontang, East Kalimantan, which is under the auspices of the East Kalimantan Fertilizer Company (PKT). This research method used a qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews with key informants from PKT, the village government, and local community groups, as well as direct observation of environmental management in the village. The results indicate that PKT has implemented various environmental communication policies, such as the development of environmentally friendly infrastructure (landfills, sanitation, and waste transportation vehicles) and community outreach on the importance of environmental cleanliness and sustainability. However, the main challenges faced are low levels of active community participation in waste management and environmental awareness, which still needs to be improved. The role of Local heroes, such as the neighborhood association (RT) head and the head of the tourism awareness group, is crucial in effectively conveying environmental communication messages. This study concludes that the environmental communication implemented in Malahing Village needs to be strengthened by directly involving more community members in environmental management to ensure the sustainability of this tourism village. Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Village Regulation (Perdes) on livestock management in Humusu Wini Village, North Central Timor Regency, Indonesia. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation with selected informants, including village officials, BPD members, security forces, and livestock owners. The results indicate ongoing challenges in communication, institutional coordination, and socio-cultural acceptance. Inconsistent outreach limited community understanding, while weak coordination reduced the BPD's oversight function. Security forces tended to use a repressive approach, which fueled resistance. From an economic perspective, most households considered the cost of building cages unaffordable, and culturally, the custom of releasing livestock remained strong. The study concluded that successful policy implementation requires more than formal regulations; it requires ongoing communication, material support, a persuasive approach, and respect for local wisdom. Collaborative governance is key to ensuring community acceptance and sustainability of the policy. Keywords: Collaborative Governance, Community Participation, Livestock Control, Local Wisdom, Policy Implementation, Village Regulation.
