Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of decline push-up training on arm muscle power and straight punch frequency in athletes from the PSHT Tumbuh Mulia pencak silat school in Suralaga District. The method used was an experimental pre-test and post-test design on 20 athletes, where measurements were taken before and after decline push-up training for 14 sessions. The results showed a significant effect of decline push-up training on increasing arm muscle power and straight punch frequency, with the calculated t-value greater than the t-table (18.132 > 2.093) and (13.080 > 2.093). The conclusion is that decline push-up training effectively increases arm muscle strength, which influences the quality of straight punches.   Keywords: Decline Push-Up, Pencak Silat, Arm Muscle Power, Straight Punch

Abstract

This study aims to develop a product in the form of quartet cards for Pancasila Education learning, in accordance with the curriculum, and to produce valid, practical, and potentially effective quartet cards. This research used research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The results indicate that the quality of the quartet cards, in terms of validity, is categorized as valid, with an Aiken coefficient of 0.780 for language experts, 0.85 for material experts, and 0.81 for media experts, categorizing them as very valid. Furthermore, the analysis of teacher and student practicality assessment sheets for the quartet cards met the criteria for practicality with an average score of 86.31% and effectiveness with an average score of 0.71. The conclusion is that the quartet cards in Pancasila Education learning meet the criteria for validity, practicality, and potential effectiveness, and can therefore be used in learning activities. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of collage activities on the fine motor skills of fourth-grade children with spastic cerebral palsy at Patrang Special Needs School (SLBN). The method employed was Single-Subject Research (SSR) with an A-B design. The results showed an increase in fine motor skills in the intervention phase compared to the baseline phase, with a final score reaching 91.6%. This study demonstrates that collage activities utilizing the cutting and pasting technique with corn kernels have a positive impact on the fine motor development of children with cerebral palsy. In conclusion, these findings suggest that collage-based art activities can serve as an alternative learning medium and therapeutic tool to enhance fine motor skills in children with special needs. In conclusion, collage activities have a positive effect on the fine motor skills of fourth-grade children with spastic cerebral palsy at Patrang Special Needs School.   Keywords: Cerebral Palsy, Collage, Fine Motor Skills, Single Subject Research

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of audio-visual media and interactive learning on student motivation and comprehension in learning Indonesian descriptive text at SMP Negeri 5 Jerowaru. The method used was a mixed-method approach with a quasi-experimental design and ANOVA. The results showed that audio-visual media and interactive learning significantly increased student motivation and comprehension. The experimental group, which employed both methods, demonstrated higher motivation and learning outcomes than the control group, which used the lecture method alone. In conclusion, audio-visual media and interactive learning can improve student motivation and learning outcomes.   Keywords: Audio-Visual Media, Learning Motivation, Interactive Learning, Descriptive Text

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of implementing the token economy method on improving compliance among students with mild intellectual disabilities at the Arya Satya Hati Special Needs School (SLB). This study used a Single Subject Research (SSR) method with an A–B design consisting of a baseline phase (5 sessions) and an intervention phase (5 sessions). The results showed an increase in compliance from an average of 37% in the baseline phase to 77% in the intervention phase. The conclusion is that implementing the token economy method is efficacious in improving compliance among students with mild intellectual disabilities, making it a viable alternative behavioral intervention strategy in SLB. These findings also provide practical implications for SLB teachers in utilizing the token economy as a behavior development strategy.   Keywords: Mild Intellectual Disability, Token Economy

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing the Repetitive Learning Method (RLM) through storybook media on the speaking ability of Autistic children at SDI Achmad Jogoyudan Lumajang. The method used is Single Subject Research (SSR) with an A-B design, which consists of a baseline phase (A1) and an intervention phase (B1). The study's results showed a significant and stable increase. In the baseline phase (sessions 1-5), the subject's ability ranged from 24% to 36%. After the RLM intervention through storybooks, the subject's ability increased drastically and consistently, reaching 80% in the last session. Visual analysis between conditions (A1-B1) revealed a change in level of +8 points, indicating a positive trend, and an overlap percentage of 0%, suggesting that the Repetitive Learning Method (RLM) has a positive effect on improving speaking ability in Autistic children following the intervention. These findings confirm that the integration of RLM, with repetition priming and spaced repetition mechanisms, and engaging storybook media, synergistically creates an optimal learning environment to overcome verbal communication barriers in children with autism. The conclusion is that the implementation of the Repetitive Learning Method (RLM) through storybooks has an impact on the speech skills of autistic children at SDI Achmad Jogoyudan Lumajang.   Keywords: Autistic Children, Storybooks, Verbal Communication, Repetitive Learning Method

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a critical analysis of the implementation of Character Education Strengthening (PPK) in Indonesia from the perspective of ontological, epistemological, and axiological philosophy of science. The research method uses library research with a qualitative approach and employs critical philosophical analysis (philosophical inquiry and critical analysis) and academic literature. The study's results found that ontologically, the essence of PPK is an integral effort to internalize moral dispositions rooted in cultural values and Pancasila. Epistemologically, there are critical challenges in the acquisition and verification of character knowledge; dominant quantitative measurements often fail to capture the internal affective dimension authentically, which leads to methodological inconsistencies in the field. Axiologically, the primary value of PPK is the development of ethical and moral citizens with a national identity, as reflected in the vision of the Pancasila student profile. The conclusion is that although PPK has a solid philosophical and axiological foundation, the biggest challenge lies in the epistemological aspect. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the epistemological framework through the development of authentic and consistent qualitative assessment methods, as well as ongoing professional development for teachers.   Keywords: Axiology, Epistemology, Philosophy of Science, Ontology, Character Education (PPK), Pancasila Student Profile
