Abstract

This study aims to determine the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 04 Lubuklinggau after implementing the Teams Games Tournament learning model with the Quizizz Paper Mode. The research method used was a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest. The results showed that the t-test analysis obtained t_(calculated)(3.70) ≥ t_(table) = (1.713), thus Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted. The conclusion is that implementing the Teams Games Tournament learning model with Quizizz Paper Mode significantly improved the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 04 Lubuklinggau, achieving the KKTP (Qualified Competency Standard).   Keywords: Mathematics Learning Outcomes, Model, TGT, Quizizz Paper Mode

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of science learning in grade IV of SD Negeri 07 Bingin Teluk after implementing the TGT-type cooperative model using interactive media, based on whether word walls were significantly completed. This research method used a pre-experimental design; the research design is a one-group pretest-posttest. The study's results showed the results of the initial test (pre-test) with an average pre-test value of 45.53 and an average final test (post-test) value of 72.81. This shows that the average value of the final test (post-test) is greater than the initial test (pre-test). After being calculated using the t-test, the t_count value (4.15) was obtained which was compared with the 〖 t〗_table value with a significance level of 5% was (1.695). So the t_count value > 〖 t〗_table or 4.15 > 1.695. In conclusion, the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 07 Bingin Teluk after implementing the TGT cooperative learning model using interactive wordwall-based media significantly improved by the 2025 academic year.   Keywords: Wordwall Media, Science Learning, TGT Model Implementation

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of play therapy on the social interaction skills of first-grade dyslexic children, Ustman bin Affan, at Harapan Umat Elementary School in Jember. This study used a single-subject research (SSR) method with an A-B design, with (A) as the baseline condition and (B) as the intervention condition or condition after treatment. The target behavior in this study was the social interaction skills of children with dyslexia. Researchers analyzed the research data using within-condition and between-condition analysis techniques. The results showed that play therapy can impact the social interaction skills of dyslexic children, with the percentage of subjects' scores increasing from 43.8% before treatment to 72.8% after undergoing play therapy. Therefore, the implementation of play therapy can impact the social interaction skills of dyslexic children by helping them improve their ability to build interactions with their surroundings.   Keywords: Dyslexic Children, Social Interaction Skills, Play Therapy

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the solmization method in learning pianica on the musical abilities of students with visual impairments at SLB Branjangan Jember. This study used the Single Subject Research (SSR) method with an A-B design. The baseline phase (A) was conducted for five sessions to observe students' initial musical abilities without treatment. Furthermore, in the intervention phase (B), which lasted for seven sessions, students were given learning using pianica with the solmization method. Data were analyzed to see changes in students' abilities between the two phases. The results showed that students experienced a significant increase in musical skills after the intervention. In the baseline phase, students had difficulty recognizing and playing notes correctly. However, students could identify and play notes better after using the pianica with the solmization approach. In conclusion, applying solmization in pianica learning can be an effective method for students with visual impairments to improve their musical abilities. This study contributes to more inclusive music learning for students with visual impairments. By implementing solmization and using the pianica, students can learn music more easily and in a structured manner according to their needs.   Keywords: Solmization Method, Musical Ability, Pianica, Visual Disability

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of animated video media on the ability to recognize vowels (a, i, u, e, o) in fourth-grade students with mild intellectual disabilities at Jember State Special Needs School. The research method employed is Single Subject Research (SSR) with an A-B design, consisting of two phases: the baseline phase (A), comprising five sessions, and the intervention phase (B), comprising eight sessions. The results of the analysis in the conditions show that the baseline phase has a percentage score of 35%–50% with a mean level of 42% and a stability range of ±3.7. The data within the stability range is only 1 out of 5 sessions, or 20%, so the data in the baseline phase is declared unstable. In the intervention phase, the percentage score increased from 45% to 85%, with a mean level of 68.7% and a stability range of ±6.3. The data in the stability range is only 2 out of 8 sessions, or 25%, so the intervention phase is also declared unstable. Although both phases exhibited unstable conditions based on the criteria (<80%), there was a significant increase in ability levels from Phase A to Phase B, from a high score of 50% to 85%, as well as a positive level change of +20. No overlap in data (0%) was found, which strengthens the intervention's influence on changing the target behavior. In conclusion, animated video media has been shown to have a positive effect on improving vowel recognition skills in students with mild intellectual disabilities. This study recommends the use of visual-interactive media such as animated videos in special education learning at special needs schools (SLB).   Keywords: Animated Video, Vowels, Intellectual Disability

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of family-based early intervention on the language development of children with intellectual disabilities at Muhammadiyah 1 Elementary School in Jember. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method, with one child with moderate intellectual disabilities at Muhammadiyah 1 Elementary School in Jember and his parents as subjects. The results showed that active parental involvement through family-based interventions using smartcards had a positive impact on children's language skills, particularly in combining words into simple sentences. The use of smartcards helped children focus better, become more interested in learning activities, and understand the relationship between words and images concretely. Children showed progress from simply saying words one by one to being able to put two or three words together into meaningful sentences. Furthermore, the learning environment at home became more enjoyable and interactive, strengthening the emotional bond between parents and children. In conclusion, family-based early intervention supported by visual media such as smartcards is efficacious in improving the language skills of children with intellectual disabilities. This approach not only enhances linguistic skills but also strengthens emotional interactions within the family, providing an alternative, applicable, and home-based inclusive learning strategy that is easy for parents to implement.   Keywords: Early Intervention; Smartcards; Intellectual Disability
