Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of Classroom Action Research (CAR) as a professional development strategy for teachers across various areas of educational services at SMP Negeri 21 Kota Bekasi. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design, the research involved teachers as the primary subjects, with school principals and students as supporting data sources. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles & Huberman model. The findings indicate that CAR enhances teachers' pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies. Furthermore, it strengthens educational services such as academic instruction, counseling, and classroom management. The study also reveals several structural and cultural challenges, which can be addressed through school management support and a collaborative culture. CAR is proven to be an effective reflective strategy for improving the quality of learning while empowering teachers as facilitators of change in the classroom.

Abstract

The Integrated Resource Information System (SISTER) is an application developed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology to support integrated lecturer data governance across all higher education institutions in Indonesia. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the SISTER application in supporting lecturers’ academic performance, particularly in terms of managing data on the tridharma of higher education, such as education, research, and community service carried out by lecturers at IAI Al-Hidayah Bogor. The method used is a qualitative descriptive case study at IAI Al-Hidayah, Bogor. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires with lecturers who use the SISTER application at IAI Al-Hidayah Bogor. The evaluation results show that in general, SISTER provides convenience in recording and reporting academic activities, but there are still several obstacles such as a suboptimal user interface, imperfect data integration, and the need for further training for lecturers. These findings underscore the importance of continuously improving the SISTER application to better support lecturers' academic performance and enhance higher education governance in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya tingkat buta huruf Al-Qur'an di Indonesia yang mencapai 70% berdasarkan hasil penelitian kontemporer, hal tersebut disebabkan berbagai faktor salah satunya lembaga pendidikan Al-Qur'an di Indonesia belum dikelola secara profesional baik dari segi pembelajaran maupun manajemen kelembagaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengimplementasikan manajemen POAC pada pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan Al-Qur'an sebagai upaya peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran membaca Al-Qur'an di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan observasi dan wawancara di tiga lembaga pendidikan Al-Qur'an yang berada di Kota Surabaya, Kota Bogor dan Kabupaten Indaramayu guna mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis implementasi manajemen POAC pada pembelajaran Al-Qur'an yang efektif dan profesional. Hasil penelitian ini adalah, lembaga yang menerapkan manajemen POAC ini terlihat positif pada dibanding lembaga yang tidak melakukannya, di mana mereka berhasil menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang lebih terstruktur, meningkatkan kualitas membaca dan pemahaman Al-Qur'an di kalangan peserta didik. Dengan penerapan konsep manajemen POAC ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi untuk menurunkan angka buta huruf Al-Qur'an dan meningkatkan kualitas bacaan Al-Qur'an di kalangan masyarakat Indonesia.

Abstract

Service marketing in the education sector is now focused on experiences, service quality, and long-term relationships with students and parents. Relational marketing is becoming increasingly important to create loyalty, involving technologies such as social media and student management systems. This research analyzes the evolution of marketing strategies and the challenges in building sustainable relationships. The research method is qualitative through a literature review. Data collection is done through documentation techniques. Data processing includes reduction, content analysis, data presentation, and data generalization. The results of the study indicate: Educational service marketing aims to introduce services to prospective students and parents, while increasing awareness, interest, and trust. Its strategies include promoting the institution's image, educational excellence, facilities, and learning experiences. In the digital age, technology and social media are used to build brand awareness and offer relevant and flexible educational programs. Relational marketing focuses on building long-term relationships with students, parents, alumni, and the community. Flexible, personalized services, along with the empowerment of technology, improve retention, loyalty, and positive recommendations. Engaged alumni strengthen the institution's reputation and expand its network. Key strategies include digital marketing, data-driven marketing, and customer experience.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam kontemporer menghadapi tantangan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai religius dengan tuntutan pembelajaran abad 21 yang menekankan pemikiran kritis dan pemecahan masalah. SDIT Ibnu Khaldun Lembang mengembangkan model pembelajaran TERPADU (Telaah, Eksplorasi, Rumuskan, Presentasikan, Aplikasikan, Duniawi, Ukhrawi) sebagai pendekatan deep learning yang mengintegrasikan dimensi duniawi dan ukhrawi. Tujuan Penelitian: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis manajemen pembelajaran TERPADU dalam pembentukan karakter religius peserta didik di SDIT Ibnu Khaldun Lembang. Metode: Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap kepala sekolah, kabag diniyah, wali kelas, guru PAI dan IPAS, peserta didik, analisis dokumen SKL dan perangkat pembelajaran, serta observasi pembelajaran selama 12 pertemuan. Hasil: Penelitian menemukan bahwa manajemen pembelajaran TERPADU diimplementasikan secara sistematis melalui perencanaan yang terintegrasi dengan SKL khas SIT, pelaksanaan dengan sintak tujuh tahapan, dan evaluasi berkelanjutan melalui observasi, buku penghubung, dan home visit. Dari perilaku yang diamati, model ini efektif meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dan membentuk karakter religius melalui integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam seluruh mata pelajaran. Kesimpulan: Model pembelajaran TERPADU merupakan inovasi pendidikan yang berhasil mengintegrasikan deep learning dengan pembentukan karakter religius, meskipun menghadapi tantangan dalam konsistensi implementasi dan keterbatasan penilaian objektif karakter.

Abstract

Teacher performance management is a key driver of improving instructional quality, particularly in secondary schools that must continually adapt to curriculum changes and administrative demands. The teaching module functions as a primary instrument for planning, implementation, evaluation, and reflection within the teaching–learning process. This study examines the implementation of teaching modules as part of teacher performance management at SMA Negeri 1 Nagrak and SMA Negeri 1 Cibadak, as well as the factors that facilitate or hinder their use. The theoretical framework draws on Armstrong’s (2020) performance management theory, Deming’s PDCA cycle of continuous improvement, and educational management approaches that emphasize the strategic role of teachers. This research employs a qualitative case study design using interviews, classroom observations, document analysis, and questionnaires, analyzed through descriptive thematic techniques. The findings indicate that although teachers acknowledge the importance of teaching modules, their implementation in practice remains suboptimal. School monitoring, academic supervision, and teachers’ individual commitment strengthen module utilization, whereas curriculum revisions, limited preparation time, and administrative-driven module development pose significant challenges. Simplifying module formats and providing continuous support from the school have proven effective in improving implementation quality. In conclusion, the effectiveness of teacher performance management through teaching modules depends not solely on policy instruments but also on strong collaboration among teachers, school leaders, and the broader school environment. When implemented adaptively and consistently, teaching modules hold substantial potential to enhance teacher professionalism and improve instructional quality.

Abstract

Extracurricular activities play a strategic role in developing student potential and character, yet their management in elementary schools is often not based on comprehensive strategic management. Using Wheelen & Hunger’s framework, this study analyzed the management of extracurricular programs in morning and afternoon elementary schools. A qualitative case study approach was employed, involving principals, extracurricular teachers, and students through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that strategic management was implemented through five stages: environmental analysis, strategy formulation, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up. However, each stage was conducted in a relatively simple manner, including limited needs analysis, schedule-oriented strategy formulation, and follow-up that lacked continuity. Comparison between morning and afternoon schools revealed distinct managerial dynamics: students in morning schools were generally more prepared to engage in extracurricular activities, while afternoon school students often experienced physical fatigue, limited time, and decreased motivation, resulting in less effective program management. The study highlights the need for more systematic needs analysis, participatory strategy formulation, collaborative implementation, and evaluation and follow-up based on character development outcomes to ensure extracurricular activities are meaningful and sustainable.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi manajemen perpustakaan dalam meningkatkan prestasi akademik peserta didik di SMK Bina Sejahtera 3 Kota Bogor. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari pentingnya perpustakaan sekolah sebagai pusat sumber belajar, yang tidak hanya menyediakan bahan bacaan, tetapi juga menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif serta mendukung pembentukan kebiasaan literasi peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, pustakawan, guru, dan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi manajemen perpustakaan pada aspek perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelayanan, dan evaluasi telah berjalan cukup baik, namun belum sepenuhnya optimal. Tersedia koleksi buku yang cukup memadai, tetapi pemanfaatan perpustakaan oleh peserta didik masih perlu ditingkatkan melalui program literasi yang lebih terstruktur dan berkelanjutan. Selain itu, strategi peningkatan literasi seperti kegiatan pojok baca kelas, lomba literasi, dan bimbingan pustakawan terbukti mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar serta berdampak pada peningkatan hasil belajar akademik. Kesimpulannya, manajemen perpustakaan yang dikelola secara efektif memiliki kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan prestasi akademik peserta didik, sehingga diperlukan penguatan program literasi dan dukungan sarana-prasarana sebagai bagian dari pengembangan mutu pendidikan di sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi mahasiswa MHU dalam optimalisasi layanan penyambutan calon jemaah haji di asrama donohudan. Tingginya jumlah jemaah haji yang di layani setiap musim haji serta keterbatasan sumber daya manusia yang menyebabkan pelayanan belum berjalan optimal. Mahasiswa yang terlibat dalam kegiatan ini berpotensi memberikan dukungan nyata, namun sejauh mana kontribusi mereka berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas layanan belum banyak dikaji. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif pendekatan deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil awal menunjukan bahwa mahasiswa berperan dalam mendukung kelancaran alur pelayanan, membantu efisensi waktu, serta meningkatkan kualitas interaksi dengan jemaah. Hal ini di harapkan bisa memberikan informasi mengenai peran mahasiswa dalam peningkatan layanan haji serta dapat mejadi dasar rekomendasi bagi pengelola asrama dan institusi pendidikan untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan mahasiswa lebih profesional di lapangan.

Abstract

Strengthening teacher competence is the main pillar of improving the quality of madrasah education. At MTs TQ El-Muna Q, 73% of teachers have non-pedagogical backgrounds, which creates inequality in teaching skills and leads to monotonous teaching methods. This qualitative case study aims to analyze the role of the Humanist-Spiritual Madrasah Head's leadership in overcoming these challenges. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the Head of Madrasah, Waka Curriculum, and two teachers. The results of the study show that the leadership of the Head of the Madrasah applies the Spiritual-Transformational principle by integrating the humanist dimensions (empathy and appreciation) and the spiritual (value of worship and trust). This model has been shown to foster intrinsic motivation and bridge the skill gap through personalized coaching and constructive supervision. While it can improve learning quality, its sustainability is hampered by administrative burdens and time constraints, underscoring the need for managerial efficiency to protect teachers' focus on their core tasks. This research contributes to Islamic educational leadership theory by proposing a humanist-spiritual leadership model as an effective mechanism to bridge pedagogical gaps through value-based coaching, constructive supervision, and strengthening intrinsic motivation in faith-based educational institutions.
