Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of fermentation time on the vitamin C content and antioxidant levels in white ginger kombucha sweetened with stevia. This research used experimental methods and a Completely Randomized Design with 1 factor, namely fermentation time of 11 days and 13 days with 3 replications each. Analysis Quantitative data (vitamin C content, antioxidant levels) were analyzed using quantitative descriptive methods. Meanwhile, for qualitative data (pH, physical and biological properties) qualitative descriptive methods are used. The research results showed that the antioxidant content in the 13 day fermentation was 73.21%, while in the 11 day fermentation it was 70.50%. The vitamin C content in white ginger kombucha with stevia sweetener at 13 days of fermentation was 24.18 ml/100g and at 11 days of fermentation was 18.95 ml/100g. In conclusion, the fermentation time affects the vitamin C content and antioxidant levels. The antioxidant levels in white ginger kombucha with stevia sweetener take 13 days of fermentation compared to 11 days of fermentation. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the vitamin C content and antioxidant levels of fragrant pandan leaves with stevia sweetener based on fermentation time, so as to obtain the most optimum vitamin C content and antioxidant levels in kombucha tea. The research method is experimental research, namely by varying the fermentation time in making kombucha tea. The results of the research show that the longer the fermentation process takes to raise the pH of kombucha tea, the clearer the color of the kombucha tea is, the longer the fermentation process takes. The optimum vitamin C content was obtained on the 13th day of fermentation at 14.67 mg/100 g, and the optimum antioxidant content was also obtained on the 13th day of fermentation at 77.94%. The results obtained from physical observations include color, taste, and aroma. Keywords: Antioxidants, Fermentation Time, Kombucha Tea, Vitamin C

Abstract

This research aims to determine the most effective growth response and shade level for vegetative growth of soybeans (Glycine max L.). The experimental design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). ) with 2 factorials, namely factor I, namely N0: Control; N1 : 55%; N2: 65%; N3: 75%; and factor II, namely M1: soil + husks; M2: soil + cocopeat. The results showed that 55% shade (N1) had a significant effect on plant height and number of leaves, 75% shade (N3) had a significant effect on leaf area index, M2 (soil + cocopeat) had a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves and area index. leaf. In conclusion, the growth response of soybean plants to natural shade shows significant growth in plant height, number of leaves, leaf area index and level of shade. The most effective is N1 which has a significant effect on plant height and number of leaves. Apart from that, there are recommendations for choosing a more appropriate media for soybean plants so that their growth and development is more realistic. Abstract

This research aimed to find out what variations in fertilizer doses are optimal to stimulate the growth of orchids in the seedling phase. The method used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method with one factor, namely the concentration of Grow More leaf fertilizer with 3 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments given were fertilizer concentrations of 0.2 g/200 mL, 0.4 g/200 mL, and 0.6 g/200 mL. The data obtained were analyzed using Anova analysis with an accuracy of 0.05. The research results showed that variations in fertilizer doses had no significant effect on the research parameters of plant height, new shoot height and new root length. Meanwhile, it has a real effect on the parameters of the number of new roots. In conclusion, a fertilizer concentration of 0.6 g/ 200 mL is the optimal concentration for the growth of the number of new roots of Dendrobium orchids in the seedling phase. Abstract

This research aims to identify the abundance, diversity, dominance and evenness of gastropods at the mouth of the Ketahun River, North Bengkulu. The method used is the "purposive" method. The sampling location was divided into 4 (four) stations, namely in the tidal area and on the right and left in the downstream part of the estuary. The sampling technique uses transects, at each station measuring 20m. Gastropod data analysis uses the Shannon Wiener index, Simpson index, and Pielou index. The research results showed that at the mouth of the Ketahun river, 18 species of gastropods were obtained consisting of 7 genera and 3 families. The diversity index shows, a) station I has an index value of 1.81 (medium category); b) station II has an index value of 0.49 (low category); c) station III has an index value of 1.89 (medium category); d) station IV has an index value of 0.82 (low category). The dominance index shows, a) station I has an index value of 0.23 (low category); b) station II has an index value of 0.70 (medium category); c) station III has an index value of 0.19 (low category); d) station IV has an index value of 0.63 (medium category). The evenness index shows, a) station I has an index value of 0.62 (high category); b) station II has an index value of 0.17 (small category); c) station III has an index value of 0.65 (high category); d) station IV has an index value of 0.28 (small category). The most common gastropod found is the genus Clithon with a total of 1369 individuals. Abundance, diversity, dominance and evenness are determined by abiotic parameters and environmental conditions such as substrate and water quality. Keywords: Bengkulu, Gastropods, Ketahun River

Abstract

This research aims to determine the optimal composition and fermentation time by varying the starter used to make bioethanol. The method used was an experiment with 45 samples of yellow kepok banana peel which were fermented for 13, 19 and 25 days. This research used 5 treatments, namely, a) composition A, namely 100% yeast (no added nutrients); b) composition B, namely 100% urea; c) composition C, namely 100% NPK; d) composition D, namely 50% urea and 50% NPK; e) composition E, namely 75% urea and 25% NPK. The quantitative data obtained was then analyzed using the average bioethanol content presented in the table. Qualitative data was analyzed descriptively with a systematic study. The results showed that the highest bioethanol content was obtained after fermentation (12.67 ± 9.29%) and after distillation (32 ± 10%) with composition A (100% yeast) and a fermentation time of 25 days. The highest combination of bioethanol yields was obtained after fermentation (6 ± 0%) and after distillation (31.67 ± 2.31%) with composition E (75% urea and 25% NPK) with a fermentation time of 25 days. In conclusion, the longer the fermentation time, the more bioethanol content increases. Keywords: Bioethanol, Kepok Banana Peel, Environmentally Friendly Technology
