Abstract

Sexual violence, both physical and non-physical, includes online sexual harassment which is increasing with technological advances. The ITE Law and the TPKS Law regulate victim protection, including in cases of sexual abuse of children through online games. This research focuses on the impact of game addiction on personality and legal protection for victims. This research uses a normative juridical method to analyze laws and regulations related to sexual violence in online games. The legislative approach identifies the role of the TPKS Law in the prevention, handling, and restoration of victims' rights, as well as the effectiveness of regulations with government supervision. Online game addiction can affect the user's character, causing negative effects such as hostility and mental health problems. External factors, such as exposure to media and technology, as well as internal factors, such as psychological problems, contribute to deviant behavior. Online child grooming, which involves manipulation and threats, increases with technological advances, exacerbating child sexual abuse. B. Legal protection for victims of non-verbal sexual violence is increasingly important. The Sexual Offenses Act provides protection, but legal gaps still exist. Electronic-based sexual violence is also regulated with strict penalties. Legal protection for victims of nonverbal sexual violence in online games is essential. Law No. 12 of 2022 and related laws provide the legal basis for legal action.

Abstract

In the digital era, information technology plays a crucial role in supporting disaster management. One of the increasingly utilized technologies is Geographic Information Systems (GIS), which enables interactive spatial data mapping. This study aims to design and develop a real-time data-based GIS system to provide up-to-date information, support rapid decision-making, and enhance early warning systems, thereby improving the resilience of Indonesian communities in facing disasters. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method to design a real-time data-based GIS system. The results indicate that this system enhances the effectiveness of disaster management in Indonesia. Based on trials, the system can deliver accurate and fast real-time data. For example, during a flood simulation, data on rising water levels and critical locations could be accessed in less than 30 seconds, enabling immediate mitigation measures. The system also fosters collaboration among government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and communities. During testing, 90% of participants reported that the interactive maps and evacuation route information helped them plan evacuation actions more effectively. This demonstrates that GIS technology not only supports emergency responders but also empowers communities by providing essential information for disaster preparedness.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the meaning of khusyu’ in the Qur'an and examine Quraish Shihab's perspective on this concept. Using a library research method, the study analyzes verses related to khusyu’ alongside relevant literature. The research data consists of primary sources, such as Tafsir al-Mishbah and Pesan, Kesan, dan Keserasian Al-Qur’an by M. Quraish Shihab, as well as secondary sources, including books and writings that discuss similar topics. In the Qur'an, the term khusyu’ appears in various forms, such as khasya’at, khusyū’an, khāsyi’ūna, and others, which can be categorized into seven aspects: khusyu’ in prayer, in all conditions, in accepting God's truth, concerning the Day of Judgment and the Hereafter, as the submission of the universe, as a state inherent in both men and women, and in worship and supplication. This analysis provides a comprehensive understanding of khusyu’ as described in the Qur'an and interpreted by Quraish Shihab.

Abstract

Indonesia, as an agrarian nation, faces the complexities of land management, particularly concerning customary land. The Basic Agrarian Law (UUPA) of 1960 and Law No. 2 of 2012 regulate land acquisition for public purposes. However, their implementation often triggers conflicts among the government, private entities, and indigenous communities. The case of the Rempang Eco City serves as a vivid illustration of such conflicts, highlighting the need to balance development interests with the protection of indigenous community rights. This study employs a normative juridical method with legal and conceptual approaches. Primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials are analyzed through literature review and documentation. An inductive approach and legal interpretation are applied to understand customary land acquisition in the context of public interest. Customary land rights (hak ulayat) are recognized under the 1945 Constitution and the Basic Agrarian Law (UUPA) of 1960, provided they do not conflict with national interests. The Rempang Eco City case reveals tensions between the recognition of indigenous rights and the demands of national development. An ideal solution must prioritize deliberation, the acknowledgment of indigenous rights, and fair compensation for indigenous communities, adhering to the principles of social justice and sustainable development. The Rempang Eco City project underscores the importance of recognizing indigenous rights in land acquisition processes. Indigenous community participation, transparent consultations, and fair compensation are crucial steps to prevent conflicts. Therefore, a justice-based approach that emphasizes social welfare and human rights protection must take precedence in the process of acquiring customary land for public purposes.

Abstract

This study aims to understand consumer perceptions of halal labels on food and beverage products in Cipedes District, Bandung using qualitative methods. Interviews were conducted with consumers from various backgrounds and analyzed using NVivo software to identify key themes. The results showed that halal labels are considered the main indicator of halalness, quality, and product safety. Words such as halal, belief, religion, safety, and standards dominate the analysis results, confirming the importance of halal labels in building consumer trust. Respondents tend to pay attention to halal labels as the first step before checking other attributes, such as price or nutritional content. Trust in halal certification institutions in the certification process is also a key factor in strengthening consumer perceptions. These findings indicate that halal labels not only function as religious obedience, but also as symbols of quality, safety, and identity. In addition, demographic variables such as age, education, and occupation also influence how consumers interpret halal labels. The results of this study can provide insight for manufacturers to strengthen marketing strategies by emphasizing the credibility of halal certification and its relevance in the social and religious context of consumers.

Abstract

To enhance the qualifications of university graduates in Indonesia, the government issued Law No. 12 of 2012 on Higher Education and Presidential Regulation No. 8 of 2015 on the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI). The KKNI curriculum serves as a guideline to align and integrate education, work training, and work experience with the job structure across various sectors. UIN SU organized a workshop in 2017 to reformulate a transdisciplinary curriculum based on KKNI to support its implementation. This study aims to examine the development of learning design through the KKNI curriculum in the Islamic Economic Law (Muamalah) Study Program at the Faculty of Sharia and Law, UIN SU Medan. Using a descriptive-analytical method, the study explores the learning design development process between lecturers and students and its impact on alumni. This qualitative research also discusses the implementation mechanisms of the KKNI-based learning design. The findings reveal that the development of the KKNI-based learning design has been implemented fairly well. However, additional intensive training for lecturers is necessary to enhance their understanding and application of the curriculum. This effort aims to make students more productive in actualizing their potential during the learning process. With the optimization of the KKNI curriculum, graduates of the Islamic Economic Law Study Program are expected to compete effectively in the workforce, meeting national competency standards.

Abstract

Islamic social finance, such as zakat, waqf, and alms, plays an important role in supporting social welfare and economic development in Muslim countries. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the implementation of sharia social finance in several Muslim countries outside ASEAN, focusing on the implementation mechanisms, challenges, and impacts of such instruments on social and economic development. Digitalization has changed the way Islamic social finance is managed by increasing accessibility, transparency, and efficiency. The application of technology such as sharia fintech, blockchain, and halal crowdfunding strengthens the role of zakat, waqf, and alms in supporting social welfare in Muslim countries outside ASEAN. This research uses a qualitative method based on literature studies with reference to international journals, reports of Islamic financial institutions, and related secondary data. The focus of the research includes how social financial instruments are managed, the role of governments and private institutions in their implementation, and their contribution to poverty alleviation and social welfare. The main results show that the implementation of sharia social finance in countries such as Turkey or Saudi Arabia has succeeded in improving access to education, health services, and community empowerment. However, there are still challenges in the form of low financial literacy, bureaucratic constraints, and the need to increase cooperation between the public and private sectors. The digitalization of Islamic finance has emerged as a potential solution to increase transparency and efficiency in the management of social funds.
