Abstract

This study aims to improve the writing readiness of children aged 5-6 years through educational games at RA Al-Fattah Sidotani I, Bandar District, Simalungun Regency. Writing readiness is an important aspect in the development of early childhood which includes fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and interest in writing activities. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles, with stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, documentation, and assessment of children's performance. The results of the study showed that through the implementation of educational games such as tracing shapes, connecting dots, and arranging letters, there was a significant increase in children's writing readiness, with pre-test results of 33%, cycle I 56% and cycle II 83% which showed that children became more skilled in using writing tools, showed increased fine motor coordination, and were more enthusiastic and confident in participating in writing activities. Thus, educational games have proven to be effective as a learning strategy that is in accordance with the characteristics of early childhood. This study recommends that PAUD teachers systematically integrate educational games into learning activities to support children's academic readiness, especially in writing skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of implementing Belis at the marriage of Ende Tribe nobility and Belis at the marriage of Ende Tribe nobility from a human rights perspective. This study uses a qualitative research type with a case study research approach. The results of the study indicate that the Belis procession at the marriage of Ende Tribe nobility consists of an initial procession, namely Mbe'o Nia (getting to know the face), Temba Zaza (introduction and confirmation), Ngambe (sitting), Nai Ono and Buku Pelulu (entering, asking and delivering), Bhaze Duza (returning to the tray), Wa'u Sodho (going out to inform), Mbe'o Sa'o (getting to know the house), Minu Ae Petu (drinking hot water), and the core procession, namely Mendhi Belanja (delivering shopping or Belis) and Belis at the marriage of Ende Tribe nobility consists of two types, namely money and cows. Belis in the marriage of the Ende Tribe nobility is in line with Human Rights because Belis is used as part of an effort to respect a person's rights and maintain the relationship between husband and wife so that divorce does not occur, positioning it as something sacred, which to fulfill it requires preparation both materially, mentally, and morally. On the other hand, Belis also contains elements of restrictions and even violations of human rights because in Belis there are elements of restrictions related to the right to marry, form a family and continue offspring through a legal marriage. Then, there is an element of discrimination against groups.

This study examines the tendency of broken-home parents to place their children in orphanages, impacting their fulfillment of parental responsibilities. The research focuses on: 1) How do parents at Berkah Orphanage in Palangka Raya fulfill the rights of broken-home children? 2) How is this responsibility viewed from the perspective of Islamic law? This research employs an empirical method and a sociological approach to law, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation for data collection. Findings indicate that parents strive to meet the basic needs of their children, such as shelter, food, healthcare, and education, although much of this role is assumed by the orphanage. Abstract

This study examines the implementation of civic culture in improving students' environmental awareness at SMPN 1 Bayan, North Lombok, as a response to the low awareness of cleanliness and discipline in waste management. Descriptive qualitative method was used involving 6 students, 2 teachers, and 1 principal as subjects. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed thematically. The results showed that the integration of civic culture (knowledge, skills, and attitudes of citizenship) through the "Clean Saturday" program, environment-based Civics learning, and teacher exemplification succeeded in increasing student participation: 90% consistently throw garbage in its place, 85% are active in cleaning activities, and the emergence of initiatives to care for plants. However, 15-20% of students still lack discipline without supervision. Supporting factors include school facilities (15 segregated bins, 3 parks), parental support, and a culture of gotong royong, while the main obstacle is the lack of intrinsic awareness of some students. The research conclusion confirms that civic culture is effective in shaping the character of environmental care through a holistic approach, with recommendations for strengthening the habituation program and community collaboration.

Abstract

Social and economic transformations are prompting an increasing number of women to assume the position of primary earners within the household.  Despite its integration into contemporary social realities, this phenomena presents legal issues within the framework of Islamic family law and religious court traditions, particularly regarding the delineation of duties, rights, and obligations within the household.  This study seeks to examine the legal implications of Religious Courts about women as the economic foundation of the family, and to assess the degree to which the principle of gender justice is implemented in matters of maintenance, divorce, and child custody.  The employed methodology is qualitative, utilising a juridical-empirical approach, involving an analysis of pertinent Religious Court rulings and interviews with judges and individuals possessing firsthand experience with the matter. The research findings indicate a lack of consistency in the implementation of gender justice principles, wherein women's economic contributions frequently lack commensurate recognition and legal protection, particularly regarding post-divorce maintenance and the allocation of caregiving responsibilities.  These findings necessitate a rethinking of Islamic legal principles that is more responsive to contemporary social realities, including reforms in religious court policies that are more inclusive and gender-sensitive to secure substantive justice for women as major breadwinners.

Abstract

This article documents the development and changes in institutional status transfer at PTKIN which are so massive, this shows that the position of PTKIN is so responsive to the demands of the times, so that the transformation from the form of Institute (IAIN) to University (UIN) is a necessity at PTKIN. The method in this article uses a descriptive-analytical approach as an effort to explore and clarify the existence of religious studies study programs at PTKIN. The results obtained are policies taken with the aim that religious studies study programs can continue to exist amidst the struggles of the modern world today, including holding promotions to various educational institutions, involving lecturers, students, and using media in promoting religious studies study programs, always committing to maintaining academic quality, making alumni a promotional media, always synchronizing the needs of the job market with the study program's work programs, providing excellent service to students, providing scholarships for underprivileged students.
