Abstract

A company if wants to survive in the face of the era of globalization is required to improve the quality of service continuously. PT. BIMA is a company engaged in maintenance and port equipment providers. In the service process, PT. Bima has 5 types of transport aircraft, but the most number of units and often used to operate is the head truck. Based on the history data, there are B44 head truck units, often damage problems in several parts, namely damage to Accu, Tire, Coupling, Hose Spiral and Separator components. The purpose to identify the type of damage that occurred, conduct an assessment which is then continued analysis of the FTA method to find out the factors that cause damage and provide recommendations. The results showed that with fmea analysis it was found the type of damage that had the largest RPN value score was the type of damage to the head truck-B44 unit in the accu section which had a RPN value of 181. While the results of the FTA analysis found that the cause of damage to the accu drop was the use of overtime units, damaged accu clamps, pull accu and preventive maintenance intervals were less accurate.

Abstract

Traditional healers (shamans or Batra) are people who have local knowledge in concocting plants as medicine to treat diseases suffered by the community. Currently, the number of those who are still practicing traditional medicine is decreasing. The purpose of this study was to document the local knowledge possessed by traditional healers or shamans in Antan Rayan Village, Landak Regency, West Kalimantan. The selection of respondents (traditional healers) was carried out using the snowball method. Respondents were interviewed regarding their local knowledge about the plants used to treat diseases in the Antan Rayan village community, the parts of the plants used, processing and usage methods, and the frequency of use. In Antan Rayan's village, four traditional healers (shaman/battra) still carry out traditional medicine using medicinal plants. From this study, 86 medicinal plant species were documented and included in 31 families, and Lamiaceae was the most commonly used family. These healers use these plants to treat various diseases the villagers suffered. The leaf is the most widely used part of the plant (44%). The most commonly used processing and usage method is boiling (48% and 54%), with the most common frequency being three times a day (45%).

Abstract

Hydrogen is a renewable energy source that can be used as a fuel and as an  alternative to fossil fuels. Solid  storage media in solid form are safer to use than liquid (-253 oC) or gaseous media (700 bar) media. To store hydrogen in a solid medium, it requires a metal able to  interact with hydrogen . Magnesium is one of the metals which  can form metal hybrids based on MgH2 which is capable of  absorbing hydrogen up to  (7.6wt%). However, the reaction kinetics for  magnesium are  very slow, it takes at least 60 minutes to absorb hydrogen and the operating temperature is always  very high (300 oC). Several attempts have been made to add the catalytic converter  and milling time. Hydrogen storage material based on MgH2 with a 10wt%Ni catalyst was  successfully synthesized using a mechanical alloy technique with time variations of 2 hours, 5 hours, and 10 hours. From the results of the X-ray diffraction schema  at a diffraction angle of 2θ=37.87o, it shows the presence of a MgH2 phase, Ni phase is at a diffraction angle of 61.85o, the diffraction peak also shows that there was a  widening of the diffraction peak with increasing milling time, this explains that there was  a reduction in the size of the crystal. When  calculating  with the Schereer method, the crystal size of the material reaches 10 nm. The results of the DSC test indicated  a decrease in temperature of 383 oC in 41 minutes with a milling time of 10 hours.

Abstract

Sanggau Regency is still managing the Tembawang forest, one of which is in Sotok Village. The Tembawang forest in this village is overgrown with various fruit-producing trees and medicinal plants. Medicinal plants are used by traditional healers (battra) for their medicinal practices. The purpose of this study was to record and analyze the use of medicinal plants by Battra, who live in three sub-village around the Tembawang forest, Sotok Village, Sanggau Regency. This study used a survey method by conducting interviews with battra in three sub-villages: Sotok, Keladang I, and Keladang II. The results showed that battra utilized 69 species of medicinal plants consisting of 44 families, with the highest family being Zingiberaceae. The most utilization of medicinal plants by battra in Sotok, Keladang I, and Keladang II sub-village was found in herbaceous habitus (50.74%; 54%; 46.77%), plant parts in the form of leaves (59.42%; 53.85% and 60 .94%), processing and use by pounding (48.62%; 50%; 48.49%) and pasted (30.50%; 33.33%; 31.81%) as well as in the form of mixed ingredients (58.21%; 56%; 64.52%).

Abstract

PT. ABC is a manufacturing company producing machinery in the agricultural, plantation, and marine sectors. Currently, the product that is the focus to be produced by PT. ABC includes three types, namely Machining Center, Shipyard, and Diesel Engine, distributed by the selling distributor company, namely PT. Rutan is also a subsidiary of PT. A B C. One of the main spare parts for these machines is hinge products that the company produces. This study will use the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) method in planning the inventory level of the hinge product raw materials by minimizing the total storage cost and ordering cost. This study aims to determine and minimize the inventory cost of raw materials issued by the company. The analysis results obtained the calculation of the value of the inventory cost of raw materials that the company must issue based on the policies that have been used within one year of Rp. 6,823,023 with an order frequency of 12 times and an average order of 4.273 times. Meanwhile, using the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) method approach, the total value of inventory costs that the company must incur during one year is Rp. 3,244,994 with an order frequency of 5 times and the average value of ordering 10,272 times.

Abstract

Dalam pelaksanaan pembangunan proyek konstruksi sering terjadi masalah, salah satunya yaitu masih banyaknya sisa material yang terbuang begitu saja dan akan menimbulkan waste. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apa saja indikator penyebab waste material, cara penanganan waste material yang telah terjadi di bangunan gedung, serita indikator penyebab waste material yang dominan yang telah terjadi pada bangunan gedung. Survey dilakukan menggunakan metode penyebaran kuesioner kepada para kontraktor dan konsultan di Kota Palangka Raya. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini didapat sebanyak 49 responden. Pengolahan data dan analisis menggunakan analisis frekuensi, analisis mean dan standar deviasi yang dilakukan untuk melihat ranking atau peringkat instrumen penelitian. Indikator penyebab waste material, yaitu kesalahan dalam kontrak dokumen, pembelian material yang tidak sesuai spesifikasi, penyimpanan material yang tidak benar, perencanaan yang tidak sempurna, kesalahan pada saat memotong material, kurangnya pengetahuan mengenai pencampuran material basah, dan buruknya pengontrolan material di lapangan. Cara penanganan waste material yang telah terjadi dengan adanya komunikasi yang baik, mengklaim untuk diminta mengganti material yang tidak sesuai spesifikasi, pengaturan letak material, pelatihan kepada para pekerja, penyediaan area pemotongan material, upcycle, dan pengontrolan ketepatan jumlah material yang dikirim ke lokasi proyek. Dan indikator dominan penyebab dan cara penanganan waste material berada dikategori perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan penanganan.

Abstract

Rumah Makan Barokah merupakan sebuah UMKM yang terletak di area RSUD Ibnu Sina Gresik, Jl Dr Wahidin , Kabupaten Gresik. Semakin banyak rumah makan atau kompetitor baru yang mengakibatkan pendapatan di Rumah Makan Barokah pun menurun. Terdapat pula keluhan dari pelanggan karena kecepatan dan ketepatan pelayanan. Kualitas layanan merupakan kunci utama untuk memenangkan persaingan bisnis. Pelayanan yang berkualitas dapat memuaskan pelanggan dan membuat pelanggan melakukan pembelian secara berulang. Hasil penelitian ini berfokus pada penelitian evaluasi oleh pemilik Rumah Makan Barokah dengan melakukan pengukuran kualitas layanan pelanggan dengan servqual agar dapat mempertimbangkan langkah perbaikan yang akan dilakukan agar dapat memenangkan persaingan bisnis dengan pesaing baru yang seiring berjalannya waktu bermunculan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode SERVQUAL dan Index Potential Gain Customer Value. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan adanya 21 layanan atribut dengan nilai servqual negatif, sehingga perlu ada tindakan perbaikan. Usulan tindakan perbaikan yang diberikan hanya pada atribut layanan yang memiliki indeks nilai tertinggi.

Abstract

PT. Pelayaran Timur Asri Laut is the loading and unloading service company of various types of commodities. In the service process, operational performance is considered not optimal or there is waste which indirectly has an impact on the longer the berthing time of the ship, causing port congestion. The implementation of this study involves various activities such as identifying waste, analyzing the causes of waste occurring using the Lean Six Sigma method. The purpose is to analyze ship loading and unloading by identifying waste, analyzing the causes of waste  and the factors causing demurrage in PT. Sea East Voyage. The results showed that the factors causing the highest waste category demurrage occurred in the Internal Equipment Breakdown, then using a fishbone diagram and FMEA for the factors causing of the problem to get the highest RPN value. The 5 highest causes of the RPN value are the Operator not in accordance with the SOP, short lifetime, monitoring has not been measured in real terms, the quality of spare parts is not good and the procurement of spare parts is not coordinated.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a potential and growing agro-industry enterprise in Indonesia. This company produces agricultural chemical products. The firm also implements health safety management as a standard operational procedure to create a safe and healthy workplace environment. A fire extinguisher is considered a precautionary tool in case of a fire accident in the workplace. Even though there has never been a fire accident in the workplace that required a fire extinguisher, periodic fire extinguisher inspections are required to be adequately used in an urgent situation. A critical finding during internal HSE audits was that tools performance was not following PERMENAKER 04/MEN/1980. As a result, it is necessary to evaluate the fire extinguisher inspection. This study aims to identify the potential hazards and evaluate current procedures of fire extinguisher inspection using the Job Safety Analysis approach. This study found that the primary hazard is tripping, scratching, and the fire extinguisher falls. Improved work safety can be done by carrying out seven secure steps and identifying prevention procedures for potential hazards during fire extinguiser’s inspection procedures.

Abstract

Program Green Waste merupakan upaya pengurangan sampah melalui pemilahan sampah anorganik ekonomis dan pengomposan sampah organik dengan melibatkan sektor informal secara terencana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat pengurangan sampah dari pelaksanaan Program Green Waste di salah satu apartemen di Jakarta Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei dan wawancara untuk mengetahui kondisi eksisting pengelolaan sampah serta pengukuran seluruh timbulan sampah harian apartemen selama tujuh hari berturut-turut. Timbulan sampah rata-rata yang dihasilkan apartemen sebesar 846,83 kg/hari dengan satuan timbulan 0,257+0,01 kg/orang/hari. Komposisi sampah terdiri dari 27,52% sisa makanan, 27,10% plastik, 38,55% kertas, 2,51% kaca, 2,31% logam, 1,77% steroform, 0,01% kayu dan 0,24% lain-lain. Sampah yang masih memiliki nilai ekonomi seperti plastik, kertas, kaca, dan logam dijual kepada pengepul sedangkan sampah organik dari kegiatan perawatan taman diolah dengan pengomposan. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran, potensi pengurangan timbulan sampah melalui Program Green Waste adalah sebesar 72,25% dari total timbulan. Program ini dapat memberikan nilai ekonomi sebesar Rp 571.314 per hari atau berkisar Rp17.139.429 per bulan. Program Green Waste cukup efektif mengurangi timbulan sampah apartemen yang diangkut menuju TPST Bantar Gebang sekaligus memberikan manfaat ekonomi bagi para pelaku sektor informal yang terlibat. Kata Kunci: Program Green Waste, Timbulan Sampah, Tingkat Pengurangan Sampah, Apartemen, Jakarta.
