Abstract

This research was carried out because of the importance of introducing the Banyumas Wayang Museum to add insight and introduce the existence of the museum, considering that there are still many who do not know about it. This application is expected to be an effective medium for education and preservation of local culture. To solve this problem, the research involves potential users of the application and the creation of interface design is carried out based on five stages of Design Thinking, namely Empathy, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Testing. The result of this research is the design of the User Interface of the Banyumas Wayang Museum introduction application made using the Figma application. The trial stage was carried out to test the feasibility of the design that had been made using the System Usability Scale method and obtained a score of 77.75 with a grade of B, which means that this design was successfully made and can be continued to the application system development stage. This score shows that this design has met the standards of comfort and ease of use for potential users. This research is expected to make a real contribution to efforts to preserve local culture and promote the Banyumas Wayang Museum more widely, for the results obtained conclude that this research is completed and the design can be deployed into a system.

Abstract

This research discusses the utilization of the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method to determine the quality of oil in palm fruits. The palm oil industry is an important economic sector for Indonesia, significantly contributing to national income and the welfare of farmers. The quality of oil produced from palm fruits is a crucial factor affecting palm oil production. The TOPSIS method is used in this study because of its ability to synthesize various factors influencing oil quality, including moisture content, oil content, and the percentage of loose fruits. This method allows researchers to rank and evaluate oil quality based on its proximity to the ideal solution. In this study, each quality factor is weighted and analyzed to determine the palm fruits with the best oil quality. The results of applying the TOPSIS method in this study show that the use of this method is effective in identifying the optimal quality of palm fruit oil based on relevant criteria. The information generated from this research can provide valuable insights for palm oil farmers and producers. Additionally, the application of the TOPSIS method helps stakeholders optimize harvest time to enhance oil quality optimally and provides further understanding of the correlation between the quality of palm fruit oil and the resulting palm oil quality.

Abstract

Since the advent of modern communication and information technologies, the field of education and learning has seen profound transformations. Websites that can access different kinds of data online are one example of this. Some schools still haven't figured out how to make the most of the internet, despite the fact that it has revolutionized many parts of life, including education. Colleges and universities must adapt to the changing times by implementing new methods of learning that raise the bar for student achievement. Unfortunately, many teachers still rely on the ineffective lecture format, which results for dull and unengaging classroom discussions. Hence, new approaches to education are required. Learning using the TGT (Team Games Tournament) concept is something to think about. By combining aspects of teamwork and competition, this approach creates engaging and motivating games that promote the application of learning principles. Technology, particularly websites, plays an important role in implementing the TGT paradigm in learning. Applications that facilitate the use of the TGT learning paradigm are the focus of this study. We used the waterfall approach for this study. This allows for the implementation of innovative learning strategies, which in turn boost student engagement and the quality of their learning. By using information technology, this TGT model-based application aims to improve the learning process and address the drawbacks of conventional learning approaches.

Abstract

Floods are natural disasters that often occur in Indonesia, one of which is the city of Samarinda which experienced a significant increase in flood cases in 2018-2021. The use of machine learning, especially the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm, aims to accurately predict future flood events, but the main problem faced is data imbalance and high-dimensional data. This research combines SVM with Random Oversampling (ROS) oversampling techniques and Recursive Feature Elimination (RFE) feature selection to overcome data imbalance and high-dimensional data, with the aim of increasing the classification accuracy of Samarinda City flood data. The cross validation method is with 10-fold cross-validation, and the model performance is evaluated with a confusion matrix to calculate the accuracy value. The data used was obtained from BPDB and BMKG Samarinda City for the 2021-2023 period, consisting of 11 attributes and 1095 lines of data. The research results show that RFE succeeded in identifying the five most important features, namely minimum temperature (Tn), maximum temperature (Tx), average temperature (Tavg), humidity (RH_avg) and maximum wind direction (ddd_x). With the combination of SVM, ROS, and RFE models, flood data classification accuracy increased by 0.78% from 97.14% to 97.92%.

Abstract

Adobe Lightroom is a very popular software among photographers for editing and organizing photos. Although the application is feature-rich and intuitive, many users still face various problems using it. Common issues include slow performance on older hardware, synchronization difficulties between devices, a complex interface, and feature limitations. These issues can interfere with user productivity and satisfaction, especially for photographers who depend on this application for their work. In addition, the Adobe Lightroom subscription fee is also a barrier for photographers. This research aims to analyze the user experience of Adobe Lightroom using the HEART Framework method, which was developed by Google to evaluate the quality of user experience (UX) based on five dimensions namely Happiness, Engagement, Adoption, Retention, and Task Success. Research instrument testing uses validity and reliability test calculations which state that each statement item for user-centered metrics has been said to be valid and reliable. The achievement of the level of usability of the user experience of the Adobe Lightroom application has met and exceeded the predetermined goals in the goals-signal-metrics with a variable value of Happiness of 84.2%, Engagement of 79.3%, Adoption of 62.8%, Retention of 79%, and Task Succes of 83.5%. This result shows that the Adobe Lightroom application has created a positive experience for its users, but further development is still needed to provide a more optimal user experience in the future.

Abstract

In processing the student academic information system, an academic information system is needed on the Pelalawan Indonesia Plantation Technology Institute campus, which has been implemented since 2018. Since its implementation, there have still been several obstacles or problems experienced by users, such as repeated data entry when filling out lecturer and service performance questionnaires, menus that are not yet optimal. , menu structures that are difficult to understand and the need to add new menus, data processing that takes quite a long time and even errors occur. This research uses the EUCS method which aims to see the level of user satisfaction with the academic information system with a sample size of 75 people who are active students at the ITP2I campus. After conducting research, it was found that the level of user satisfaction with the academic information system was in the moderate range with a value of 0.648. Of the five hypotheses tested, two hypotheses were accepted. The two accepted hypotheses are that the Ease of Use and Format factors have a significant influence on user satisfaction. Meanwhile, three other hypotheses, namely Accuracy, Content and Timeliness, were rejected because they did not have a significant influence on user satisfaction.

Abstract

Manual recording of sales systems using books faces various problems that affect business efficiency and accuracy. Problems that arise include the risk of errors in recording and the difficulty of accessing data quickly and precisely. In addition, manual recording is prone to data loss or damage due to human error and physical damage to books. Therefore, the implementation of a computerized recording system is proposed. This study aims to evaluate the feasibility of implementing an information system in CV. Mitra Restu Jaya consists of four stages, namely planning, data collection, data analysis, and closing. The research consists of four stages: planning, data collection, data analysis, and conclusion. A feasibility study is used to assess whether to proceed with or halt the development of a system project, typically covering technical, economic, legal, operational, and schedule feasibility. The assessment is conducted through TELOS feasibility worksheets, containing research questions and corresponding answers rated on a scale of 6-10. Cost-benefit analysis of the information system is conducted to consider cost components and benefit components to determine project feasibility, including the calculation of the payback period (PP) and Return on Investment (ROI). The results of this study show that the TELOS method can be applied to assess the feasibility of the sales information system at CV. Mitra Restu Jaya. The assessment results for each TELOS method are 8.50 for technical feasibility, 7.50 for economic feasibility, 8.50 for legal feasibility, 7.50 for operational feasibility, and 8.50 for schedule feasibility, with an average TELOS eligibility score of about 8.10. According to the payback period calculation, the funds invested by CV. Mitra Restu Jaya can be recovered approximately 6 months after operationalization, and the sales information system is feasible because the Return-on-Investment value is around 3.33, which is greater than 1. This is supported by PIECES-framed operational feasibility proving that the system to be developed can operate effectively and efficiently in the context of a retail company. The conclusion of this research is that the sales information system is feasible to be developed at CV. Mitra Restu Jaya.

Abstract

AI (Artificial Intelligence) is becoming very important these days due to its ability as a personal assistant to increase efficiency, automate routine tasks, and speed up manual processes. AI chatbot are one of the practical applications of AI in language understanding, have various benefits and drawbacks that cause various comments from users in the review column on the Google Play Store. This research discusses sentiment analysis of AI chatbot application reviews using four SVM kernels. Labeling uses InSet Lexicon and hyperparameters to produce the best parameters. The purpose of the research is to find out how users respond to interactions with ChatGPT, Perplexity AI, and Bing Chat and prove whether the kernel in SVM can increase the accuracy value. The percentage division between test data and training data is 70:30, 80:20, and 90:10, data labeling using 2 sentiment classes and 3 sentiment classes, and using and not using the SMOTE Oversampling technique. The experimental results obtained the highest accuracy using SVM kernel Linear scenario 90:10 with an accuracy value of 92.68%.

Abstract

The problem of lack of understanding and appreciation for Indonesia's cultural diversity among children is increasingly emerging. This is due to the lack of effective and fun learning media, as well as the dominance of games that only contain entertainment without educational value. This research aims to develop a learning application that is specifically designed to introduce various Indonesia cultures to children. The method used to solve this problem is Design Thinking, which includes five stages: empathy, definition, ideation, prototyping, and testing. Through this stage, the design of the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) that suits the needs of the user has been successfully created, with interesting and informative content regarding Indonesia's cultural diversity. The results of the application of this method were evaluated using the System Usability Scale (SUS), which tested the feasibility and effectiveness of the design. The app gets an average SUS score of 81, which indicates the B/Excellent category. Thus, this study successfully solved the problems identified and the methods used were successful so that it can be concluded that providing appropriate and interesting educational tools can increase cultural awareness among children.

Abstract

Many credit sales applications are commonly used by outlets or counters, such as DigiPOS, Tetra Pulsa, and Orderkuota. However, there are common problems with these applications such as prices that are starting to be less competitive, difficult to use, transactions that often fail, security, service and others. Therefore, this study analyzes the sentiment of user reviews to identify the strengths and weaknesses of these apps, to help developers improve their services, and to guide agents in choosing the right app. NBC algorithm is proposed to be used for sentiment classification. The analysis results show the dominance of positive sentiments on all apps, with Tetra Pulsa having the highest positive sentiment (97.10%), followed by Orderkuota (84.40%) and DigiPOS (64.00%). Then the results of the implementation of the NBC algorithm can perform sentiment classification well. Tetra Pulsa application has an accuracy of 97.10%, Orderkuota 92.39%, and DigiPOS 91.10%. The results of this study can be considered to evaluate and improve the application so that it can provide better service to users of the credit sales application.
