<![CDATA[This study aimed to find out the correlation among language learning strategies, reading attitude, and reading achievement of the eleventh grade students of State Senior High Schools Lahat District. In this study, 85 students of the eleventh grade were chosen as sample through stratified random sampling. This study applied correlation research design. Questionnaire and test was used to collected the data. They were analyzed by using pearson product moment correlation coefficient, simple and multiple regression analysis. The result showed that the sig value of correlation between learning strategies and reading achievement was 0.04 which was higher than 0.05, with 5% contribution of learning strategies. The correlation between reading attitude and reading achievement was 0.000 which lower than 0.05, with 15.8% contribution of reading attitude. The correlation between learning strategies and reading attitude was 0.006 which was lower than 0.05, with 8.7% contributions. The correlation among language learning strategies, reading attitude, and reading achievement was 0.000 which was lower than 0.05, with 17% contributions of learning strategies and reading attitude.]]>

<![CDATA[The principal as the pinnacle of leadership with a visionary leadership model must be able to improve the performance of Paramount Palembang Elementary School teachers. This visionary leadership can have a significant effect on improving teacher performance because the principal can provide a clear vision and can implement the vision he has made for the teacher's future, thereby providing motivation for improving teacher performance. The principal must be able to increase the strategic and technical role in improving the quality of learning and teaching, he is not only a learning leader but more than that the overall leader which includes leadership functions in a school institution such as planning, career coaching, coordination and evaluation. His leadership pattern is very influential and even determines the progress of education. The hypothesis in this study is that there is an influence of Visionary leadership style on the performance of Paramount Elementary School Palembang teachers. There is an influence of working motivation together on the performance of Paramount Primary School Palembang teachers. There is an influence of Visionary leadership style and work motivation together on the performance of Paramount Elementary School Palembang teachers. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and questionnaires. The analysis carried out is the correlation analysis of t-test and F test. The results of data analysis from the questionnaire show that there is an influence of Visionary leadership style on the performance of Paramount Elementary School Palembang teachers. There is an influence of work motivation on the performance of Paramount elementary school teachers in Palembang. There is an influence of Visionary leadership style and work motivation together on the performance of Paramount Elementary School Palembang teachers. (significant level 5%).]]>

The aim of this study are: (1) Explaining the elements that being focused in academic supervision of Paramount Primary School. (2) Explaining the strategy of the Principal in improving teacher’s professional competency. (3) Explaining the implementation of academic supervision held by the Principal (4). Analyzing the implementation of academic supervision held by the Principal in pandemic time. This reseach is a qualitatif descritive reseach, data collection technique used is participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation.The subject in this study are the principal, teachers and students. The results of this study are: (1) the elements supervised, (2) Strategy applied in improving the professional competence of teachers and (3) The follow up conducted by the principal after the academic supervision activity.]]>

<![CDATA[This study investigated the correlation among personality types, learning styles and writing ability to the eleventh grade students at Senior High School Number 1 Sekayu. The aims of this study were to measure the correlation between personality types and writing ability, the correlation between learning styles and writing ability, the correlation between personality types and learning styles, and the correlation among personality types, learning styles, and writing ability. In this study, the writer used purposive technique sampling. The data were collected by using questionnaire and test. The data were analyzed by using r-product moment and multiple regressions. The findings of this study are: 1. There was not any significant correlation between personality types and writing ability of the eleventh grade students at Senior High at Senior High School 1 Sekayu. 2. There was not any significant correlation between learning styles and writing ability of the eleventh grade students at Senior High School 1 Sekayu. 3. There was significant correlation between learning styles and writing ability of the eleventh grade students at at Senior High School 1 Sekayu. 4. There were not any significant correlations among personality types, learning styles, and writing ability of the eleventh grade students at Senior High School Number 1 Sekayu. It could be concluded that personality types and learning styles were not correlated significantly with students’ writing ability.]]>

This study using a qualitative methodology descriptive. case with the approach. The data collection techniques used in this research is a questionnaire, interview and documentation. The data analysis using a method of triangulation and obtain information or data from various sources to verify the data. The research results be concluded that the implementation of online learning when pendemi covid-19 in elementary school, rantau panjang sub-district, ogan ilir district with a model cipp was going pretty good.]]>

<![CDATA[The title of this article is “Values Of Character Education In The Finalist Short Story Collection At The Provincial Level Of The 2014 FLS2N†this discuss character education values. The goal of this research is to know to the education character values in the main character for the short story’s finalist provincial level FLS2N 2014. The benefits of this research can increase and adding to knowledge the study of literature especially short story through the character educations. Values practically this research hopes can give contribution for Indonesian language studies in schools. The method used is descriptive method. The source of the data in this reseach is the collect of short story’s finalist in provincial level FLS2N 2014 is Kejai Songket story by Agnes Twenty Agustiola, Melody Strains Sari story by Miranti Intan Alya, and Save Them for Us Father story by Purnama Djasmin. The data analysis technique used in content analysis technique. The result of this research is to show about character education among them relationships to one and only God such as religions, human relationships such as honesty, hard work, creative, independent, curiosity, partriotism, responsibility, love peace and relationship to the environment such as care for the environment.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to find out whether applying Project-Based Learning can improve students’ Critical Thinking skills in General English for Pre Intermediate 4 class in LB LIA Palembang, a Non Formal English Language Institution in Palembang. The study was conducted as a classroom action research. There were 20 students who participated as the samples of the research. The data were collected through observation, questionnaire and interview. Then, the data were analyzed. The results showed 17 out of 20 students (85%) get the desired level of Critical Thinking skills. Based on the interview, all students have positive understanding of Project-Based Learning model. In conclusion, PBL has an influence in improving students’ critical thinking skills. Further study needs to be conducted to give more positive impact to society.]]>

<![CDATA[Perkembangan tekhnologi informasi dan komunikasi yang ada tidak diterima dengan mudah begitu saja oleh semua kalangan khususnya pada bidang pendidikan. Adanya pandemi covid-19 yang mewajibkan siswa untuk belajar di rumah menggunakan media alat komunikasi (ponsel cerdas).
