Abstract

Bank Indonesia is responsible for maintaining monetary stability, strengthening financial system resilience, and ensuring the effectiveness of the payment system. Amid increasing economic complexity and the rapid digitalization of the financial sector, fostering employee innovation and creativity has become essential to support effective policy implementation and operations. This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership and psychological empowerment on employee creativity, with knowledge sharing as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was employed through a survey of 100 employees from the Cash Management Work Unit, selected using convenience sampling. The findings indicate that: (1) transformational leadership does not have a direct effect on employee creativity; (2) psychological empowerment has a strong positive effect on creativity; (3) knowledge sharing positively contributes to creativity; (4) transformational leadership positively influences knowledge sharing; (5) psychological empowerment positively influences knowledge sharing; (6) knowledge sharing mediates the relationship between transformational leadership and creativity; and (7) knowledge sharing mediates the effect of psychological empowerment on creativity. Theoretically, these findings suggest that employee creativity is primarily driven by psychological empowerment through knowledge-sharing mechanisms. Practically, enhancing creativity requires strengthening psychological empowerment and cultivating a culture of knowledge sharing. Future research is recommended to expand contextual scope and methodological approaches to obtain more comprehensive results.

Abstract

Low student achievement in Economics is often attributed to the use of teacher-centered instructional methods that do not optimally engage students in the learning process. Therefore, the implementation of learning methods that encourage active participation and collaboration among students is necessary. This study aims to examine the effect of the Active Learning method of the Team Quiz type on the Economics learning outcomes of tenth-grade students at SMAN 01 Paguyaman Pantai, Boalemo Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The research sample consisted of 58 students selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation of learning outcomes and analyzed using SPSS software. The results indicate that the implementation of the Active Learning Team Quiz method has a positive and significant effect on students’ learning outcomes. Learning activities that emphasize group work, discussions, and team-based quizzes were found to enhance student engagement and improve their understanding of Economics concepts. Overall, the Team Quiz method proved to be effective in improving students’ learning outcomes. This study is expected to serve as a reference for teachers in applying active, collaborative, and student-centered learning strategies to enhance the quality of Economics instruction at the secondary school level.

Abstract

Business acquisitions in the banking industry aim to expand markets, strengthen capital structures, and enhance institutional competitiveness. However, structural changes resulting from acquisitions often impact customer perceptions and satisfaction with the services provided. In this context, it is important to evaluate how the quality of post-acquisition services is received by customers, particularly in the case of Bank KB Bukopin, which has officially merged with KB Kookmin Bank from South Korea.  This study aims to analyze customer perceptions of the quality of Bank KB Bukopin's services after the acquisition process, using the SERVQUAL approach, which covers five main dimensions, namely Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy. This research is quantitative in nature, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to Bank KB Bukopin customers.  The analysis was conducted using the GAP Analysis method to determine the difference between customer expectations and the actual perceived service performance. Furthermore, the analysis results were mapped into a Cartesian Diagram to identify service improvement priorities. The results showed that several indicators were still below customer expectations, especially in the dimension of responsiveness. Therefore, KB Bukopin Bank needs to focus primarily on improving service speed, complaint handling effectiveness, and more efficient communication. These findings are expected to form the basis for a service quality improvement strategy that is more targeted and relevant to the dynamic needs of customers.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the decline in employee performance at CV XYZ Surabaya, as reflected in sales targets that have not been consistently achieved in recent periods. This situation indicates issues in human resource management that require evaluation. The study examines the influence of managerial factors, particularly compensation and work discipline, on employee performance as an effort to improve the effectiveness of human resource management within the company. Compensation is viewed as a form of appreciation for employees’ contributions, while work discipline reflects employees’ compliance with company regulations and operational standards. The objective of this research is to empirically analyze the effect of compensation and work discipline on employee performance at CV XYZ Surabaya. The study uses a quantitative approach with Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis, involving 60 respondents from the marketing and warehouse divisions. The results show that compensation contributes to employee performance, with overtime pay providing a considerable contribution. Work discipline also contributes to performance, particularly through adherence to company rules and punctuality. These findings highlight that fair compensation and consistent discipline play an important role in enhancing employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning facilities on students’ learning motivation at SMP Negeri 3 Anggrek, North Gorontalo Regency. The study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The population of this study consisted of all students of SMP Negeri 3 Anggrek, with a sample of 56 students selected using a specific sampling technique. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability to ensure the accuracy of the research instruments. The collected data were then analyzed using simple linear regression analysis to examine the magnitude of the influence of learning facilities on students’ learning motivation. The results of the data analysis indicate that learning facilities have a significant effect on students’ learning motivation, with a contribution value of 20.8%. This finding suggests that better learning facilities are associated with higher levels of students’ learning motivation. However, 79.2% of students’ learning motivation is influenced by other factors beyond the variables examined in this study, such as the family environment, teaching methods, the role of teachers, and students’ internal factors. Therefore, it can be concluded that learning facilities are an important factor in enhancing students’ learning motivation; however, they need to be supported by other contributing factors to optimize students’ overall learning motivation.

Abstract

The low critical thinking ability of students is the basis for this study. The focus of this study is to compare the critical thinking ability of class X students of SMAN Jenggawah in economics learning with the implementation of the PBL model assisted by Mind Mapping and the PBL model assisted by PowerPoint (PPT). This study applies a quasi-experimental method with a posttest nonequivalent control group design. This study involved all class X students of SMAN Jenggawah as the population, the research sample was selected using the purposive sampling method. Primary data were obtained from posttests, observations, and interviews. Hypothesis testing was carried out through independent sample t-tests. The results showed that the average value in the class using the PBL model assisted by Mind Mapping was higher, which was 80.14 compared to the class implementing the PBL model assisted by PPT of 74.29. Thus, it can be concluded that the PBL model supported by Mind Mapping has a significant effect on critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Interesting Economics learning can make it easier for students to understand the Economics material given, so that students do not feel bored. One way to create a conducive atmosphere when learning is by interacting with peers in class, because they can help change students' learning behavior in a positive or negative direction. This study was conducted with the aim of determining the influence of peers in the family environment (home) and at school on students' learning motivation in Economics learning. This study used a quantitative research method, namely a survey. Samples were taken from three classes with a total of 100 students. The samples in this study were students of class X IPS 1 Economics, as well as students of class X MIPA 5 and X MIPA 6 Economics Interest. The research data sources were primary and secondary data. Data analysis was carried out using the classical assumption test and the t-test. The test results showed that peers have a positive influence on students' learning motivation in Economics learning. The conclusion is that peers in this school have similarities in age and social status, and the students are smart and intelligent in class. They have an influence on learning motivation and can be used as Economics learning partners.

Abstract

Vocational High Schools (SMK) are educational institutions that have a strategic role in producing competent, adaptive, and competitive graduates. However, the work readiness of students to enter the workforce remains a crucial issue. This study was conducted to (1) determine the effect of industrial work practices on work readiness and (2) determine the effect of learning facilities on work readiness of SMK students in Sukoharjo Regency. This study is a quantitative descriptive study. The study population was 176 grade XII SMK students majoring in Online Marketing Business. The research sample was 122 taken using the proportional random sampling method. Data collection through questionnaires was then analyzed using multiple linear regression using SPSS. The results of the study indicate that (1) there is an effect of industrial work practices on work readiness and (2) there is an effect of learning facilities on work readiness. It can be concluded that there is a partial or simultaneous influence between industrial work practices and learning facilities on student work readiness. These findings indicate the importance of improving the quality of the implementation of industrial work practices through more optimal collaboration with the business world and industry, especially in the field of marketing business. In addition, it serves as evaluation material for schools in providing adequate learning facilities.

Abstract

The development of financial technology, particularly e-wallets, has changed the financial behavior of students in the digital era. This study aims to analyze the influence of e-wallet use on the productive behavior of students at STKIP Persada Khatulistiwa Sintang. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational method. Data were collected through questionnaires from 100 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique, then analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed that e-wallet use had a positive and significant effect on students' productive behavior with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a coefficient of determination of 51.2%. These findings indicate that e-wallets function not only as a transaction tool but also as a means to improve efficiency, financial control, and student productivity. This study contributes to expanding fintech studies by emphasizing the role of e-wallets in shaping productive behavior among students. This research is limited by its sample size. It cannot represent respondents from a specific generation. Therefore, more in-depth research is needed to generalize the results.
