Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of sales promotion and E-WOM through positive emotion on impulsive buying among students. This study aims to determine the effect of sales promotion and E-WOM through positive emotion on impulsive buying among university students. This study uses a quantitative approach. Data were collected through Google Forms with a sample of 117 economics students at UNS. The sampling technique used probability sampling with the proportionate stratified random sampling method. Data analysis was conducted using SEM-PLS and processed through SmartPLS version 4.0. The results of the study indicate that (1) sales promotion has a positive and significant effect on impulsive buying (2) electronic word of mouth has a negative and significant effect on impulsive buying (3) sales promotion has a positive and significant effect on positive emotion (4) electronic word of mouth has a positive and significant effect on positive emotion (5) positive emotion has a positive and significant effect on impulsive buying (6) sales promotion through positive emotion has a positive and significant effect on impulsive buying (7) electronic word of mouth through positive emotion has a positive and significant effect on impulsive buying. Based on the results of this study, students need to improve their self-control, financial management, and emotional management, as well as be more selective about promotions and recommendations from others in order to reduce impulsive buying. The limitations of this study are that the variables and subjects are still limited, focusing only on the Shopee marketplace and online impulsive buying behavior.

Abstract

The increase in digital spending in the video game sector has encou?raged the emergence of consumptive behavior among Genshin Impact players, particularly Generation Z. This study aims to analyze the influence of Peer Conformity, Financial Technology, Financial Literacy, and Locus of Control on the consumptive behavior of Generation Z Genshin Impact players. The research employed a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 108 Generation Z Genshin Impact players, and the data were analyzed using Partial Least Square–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that peer conformity and financial technology  and locus of control have an impact  on consumptive behavior, while financial literacy has no significant signficant impact toward consumptive behavio

Abstract

This study systematically examines the interrelationship between green human resource management (GHRM), green innovation, and the blue economy in promoting sustainable coastal development in Indonesia. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this research analyzes 65 peer-reviewed academic articles published between 2021 and 2025. The review identifies four major thematic clusters: (1) the implementation of GHRM practices, (2) the linkage between GHRM and green innovation, (3) the role of green innovation in socio-coastal contexts, and (4) the integration of GHRM and green innovation within the blue economy framework. The findings indicate that GHRM plays a critical role in shaping environmental competencies, pro-environmental behavior, and organizational learning, which collectively stimulate green innovation. Furthermore, the integration of GHRM and green innovation strengthens the socio-economic resilience of coastal communities while supporting sustainable marine resource management. However, the literature also reveals limited empirical application of GHRM in community-based coastal development, particularly within developing regions. This study contributes by offering a human-centered and knowledge-based conceptual framework for sustainable coastal development, providing strategic insights for policymakers, local governments, and development practitioners to enhance the implementation of the blue economy through strengthened human resource capacity and environmental innovation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between communication skills and students’ learning activities in Social Studies for eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Paguyaman. The research employed a quantitative approach using a descriptive correlational design. The population of this study consisted of all eighth-grade students, with a sample of 30 students selected based on appropriate sampling techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Simple linear regression analysis was applied to analyze the relationship between communication skills and students’ learning activities. The results indicate a positive and significant relationship between communication skills and learning activities in Social Studies. This is evidenced by a significance value of 0.000, which is lower than the significance level of 0.05. These findings suggest that better communication skills contribute to higher levels of student learning activity during the instructional process. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination of 0.458 indicates that communication skills account for 45.8% of the variance in students’ learning activities, while the remaining 54.2% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Therefore, enhancing students’ communication skills is essential in fostering active learning in Social Studies classrooms.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of herding behaviour in mediating the relationship between social media exposure and financial literacy on the investment decisions of young investors affiliated with the UPN Veteran East Java Investment Gallery. This study involved 173 young investors selected using probability sampling. The research approach was quantitative, using an online questionnaire and analysis based on Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (SEM-PLS). The results of this study indicate a significant positive influence of social media exposure and financial literacy on investment decisions. Other findings indicate that herding behaviour is able to mediate complementarily in the influence of social media exposure on investment decisions and mediate competitively in the influence of financial literacy on investment decisions. This study is expected to enrich knowledge regarding the mediating role of herding behaviour within the framework of the Theory of Planned Behaviour and Social Learning Behaviour, which can emphasise the importance of financial literacy and digital literacy among young investors. The limitation of this study lies in the use of a limited sample at UPN Veteran East Jawa Investment Gallery, so it is recommended that future studies expand the scope of the research area.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Economics learning for class XI in State Senior High Schools throughout Bone Bolango Regency and to identify the factors that influence it. The research method used is qualitative with a Narrative Inquiry approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation in several State Senior High Schools in Bone Bolango Regency. The results of the research show that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Economics learning in State Senior High Schools throughout Bone Bolango Regency has been carried out quite well for the last three years. However, there are still many things that need to be improved, such as the availability of resources. Most teachers have not been able to maximize learning effectively due to a lack of understanding and training on the concept of the Independent Curriculum, as well as mastery of technology that supports digital-based learning. In addition, the lack of adequate facilities and infrastructure as well as relevant learning resources are also obstacles. Factors that influence the implementation of the Independent Curriculum include supporting factors such as teacher training and assistance as well as the availability of resources, and inhibiting factors such as facilities and infrastructure, the involvement of schools, teachers, students, and parents.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of work discipline on the performance of village officials in Kaidipang District, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency. Work discipline is considered an important factor that influences the performance of public officials in carrying out their duties and responsibilities in providing public services at the village level. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population of this study consisted of all village officials in Kaidipang District, with a total sample of 35 respondents selected through a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires developed based on indicators of work discipline and village officials’ performance. The collected data were then analyzed using simple linear regression to determine the relationship and influence between the research variables. The results of the analysis indicate that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on the performance of village officials in Kaidipang District, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This finding is supported by the correlation coefficient (R), which indicates a strong relationship between the variables. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R²) of 57.9 percent demonstrates that variations in village officials’ performance can be explained by work discipline, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors not included in this research model. Therefore, the hypothesis stating that work discipline has a positive effect on the performance of village officials is accepted.
