Abstract

This study was motivated by the increasing popularity of online shopping among students, particularly on e-commerce platforms. The purpose of this study was to identify the factors that influence the interest in e-commerce shopping among 2021 Economics Education students. This study employed a quantitative method with an ex post facto approach. The research population consisted of 100 students majoring in Economics Education in the 2021 cohort, who were also used as samples using saturated sampling techniques. Data were collected using questionnaires dan analysed using validity dan reliability tests as well as factor analysis with the help of SPSS version 27. The results showed that there were six factors influencing students' interest in shopping on e-commerce, namely security, convenience, ease, price, experience, dan product quality. The most dominant factor influencing students' interest in shopping was customer satisfaction, with a contribution of 59.789%. Meanwhile, brand credibility also contributed to students' interest in shopping, with a value of 11.159%. It can be concluded that student shopping interest in e-commerce is influenced by both economic dan non-economic factors, with customer satisfaction being the main factor. Therefore, e-commerce players need to improve service quality, transaction security, dan user convenience in order to maintain consumer shopping interest. The limitations of this study lie in its scope as well as the research variables, which only examine customer satisfaction dan brand credibility.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of internal communication, organizational culture, and loyalty on employee performance at Perumda Air Minum Banyumili, Rembang Regency. The study used a quantitative survey-based method involving 90 employees as respondents. The research instrument was a Likert-scale questionnaire consisting of 47 statement items covering four variables. The collected data were then analyzed using multiple linear regressions, supplemented by instrument testing and general assumption testing to ensure the feasibility of the model. The results of the study revealed that internal communication significantly influences employee performance, indicating that a clear flow of information and effective communication patterns support improved work quality. Organizational culture was also proven to have a positive and significant impact, so that ingrained values, rules, and work ethics are able to shape employee attitudes and work actions optimally. Meanwhile, loyalty has a positive, although not significant effect on performance. The R-square value of 0.488 provides evidence that the three variables together explain 48.8% of the difference in employee performance. This study recommends improving communication systems, strengthening organizational culture, and loyalty development strategies to improve employee performance sustainably.

Abstract

MSMEs play a strategic role in strengthening rural economies; however, limited product innovation remains a key challenge. This study analyzes innovation training in banana processing among MSME actors in Dharma Bhakti Village, focusing on capacity building, product innovation, and supporting and inhibiting factors. The research subjects are banana-processing MSMEs affiliated with the PKK, while the research object includes innovation training and banana-based business development. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that innovation training enhances knowledge, skills, and entrepreneurial motivation, reflected in product diversification, improved quality, better packaging, and simple marketing strategies. Supporting factors include village government support, the active role of PKK, and adequate facilities, while constraints involve limited time, high costs, and restricted market access. The study highlights the need for continuous training and stronger support for capital and marketing, with limitations related to the small number of participants and the focus on a single village.

Abstract

This study presents an in-depth and comprehensive analysis of the structure, performance, and development strategy of the inland fishery supply chain in the buffer zone of Sebangau National Park (SNP), Central Kalimantan. As one of the world's largest and most crucial tropical peat swamp ecosystems, SNP plays a dual role as a biodiversity reservoir and a pillar of the local economy through the fishery sector. However, this vast potential faces a paradox of supply chain inefficiency, market information asymmetry, and vulnerability to extreme peat hydrological dynamics. This research adopts a sequential exploratory mixed-methods design, integrating the depth of qualitative data from in-depth interviews and participatory observation with the rigor of quantitative analysis through SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) and QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) instruments. The results reveal a supply chain anatomy dominated by patron-client relationships, with fishermen positioned as price takers. Key findings indicate that the greatest internal strengths lie in the fishermen's social capital and Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK), as well as adaptive innovations in live fish storage. Conversely, the absence of cold chain infrastructure and downstreaming facilities represents a critical weakness causing economic value-added leakage. Through QSPM strategy simulation, this study establishes the downstreaming of fish-based food products as the main priority strategy with the highest Total Attractiveness Score (TAS) of 1.00, outperforming aquaculture and ecotourism strategies. This article provides a theoretical contribution to the literature on supply chain management in wetlands and offers practical policy recommendations for transformation toward adaptive and sustainable regional food security.

Abstract

Cooperatives in Indonesia play an important role as pillars of the people’s economy; however, millennial participation remains relatively low despite this group being the largest demographic within the productive age range. This study aims to analyze millennials’ perceptions of cooperatives and identify the factors that influence their engagement, including perceived benefits, social norms, and ease of participation. A quantitative approach with descriptive and explanatory designs was employed, involving an Indonesian millennial population of approximately 88 million individuals. The research sample consisted of 212 millennial respondents aged 25–40 years from various regions of Indonesia, collected through an online questionnaire based on the Theory of Planned Behavior. The findings indicate that perceived benefits, social norms, and ease of participation significantly contribute to millennial involvement in cooperatives, with social norms emerging as the most dominant factor. These results highlight that millennials’ motivation to join cooperatives is not only driven by economic benefits but is also strongly influenced by social support and the accessibility of cooperative services. The study recommends that cooperatives strengthen educational programs, enhance community-based engagement, and accelerate the adoption of digital innovations to attract millennial interest and ensure cooperative sustainability in the digital economy era.

Abstract

Business management and technology utilization play a crucial role in addressing the gap between the potential role of MSMEs and their actual performance in the region. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of business management and technology adoption on the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Solok Regency. The approach used was quantitative with the causal associative method. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to the sample. The sample was selected based on a purposive sampling technique totaling 52 MSMEs, using a Likert scale. Data analysis used multiple linear regression statistics, assisted by the SPSS program. The results showed that business management and technology adoption significantly influenced the performance of MSMEs in Solok Regency, both partially and simultaneously. This study suggests the need for a more in-depth study by adding other variables that can influence MSME performance such as innovation, compensation, and policy support. Due to time and scope limitations that cover local sector boundaries, business management and digitalization training are needed to be able to compete globally.

Abstract

This study examines the marketing management practices of UFO Electronics Store in Palangka Raya, a local retail business that continues to adapt to rapid changes in consumer behavior and competitive pressure from digital marketplaces. The research aims to describe how the store maintains customer loyalty, identifies its strengths and weaknesses in marketing, and evaluates the effectiveness of its current strategies. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, using in-depth interviews with the store’s promoter and direct observations of operational activities to obtain a comprehensive understanding of real conditions. The results show that interpersonal service plays a central role in shaping customer trust and satisfaction, making it the store’s main competitive advantage. However, digital marketing efforts remain limited and administrative processes are still conducted manually, reducing efficiency and responsiveness. The study recommends strengthening digital marketing integration, improving administrative systems, and maintaining personal service quality as a unique value that differentiates the store from online competitors. These improvements can help the store enhance competitiveness and expand its market reach.

Abstract

Financial stress or financial stress is a psychological condition that arises from the inability of individuals to meet financial needs adequately and efficiently. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between financial stress and lifestyle on student financial management in the city of Palopo. This study uses a quantitative method with data collected through a questionnaire.the sample used is relatively limited, namely 100 respondents. Using the slovin formula and random sampling. Data analysis was carried out with SPSS 27. The results of the study showed that the financial variable stress had a significant positive influence on financial management, while lifestyle did not have a significant influence on financial management. The insignificance of the influence of lifestyle on financial management shows that students in Palopo City are relatively able to adjust consumption patterns with limited resources. This research contributes to the development of science in the field of financial psychology and behavioral economics, especially related to the relationship between financial stress and lifestyle to student financial management, especially in the city of Palopo.
