Abstract

This research aims to design a financial strategy that can optimize financial management at AKPER Buntet Pesantren Cirebon. The research focus includes identifying weaknesses in financial planning, management, evaluation, and reporting, as well as developing strategic solutions relevant to the needs of the institution. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach, with data obtained through interviews, document studies, and direct observation. The results of the study show that financial management at AKPER Buntet Pesantren still faces challenges such as the absence of a performance-based budget, a manual reporting system, and a lack of transparency. To overcome this, the strategy designed includes the implementation of performance-based budgeting, digitalization of the financial system, increased transparency through open reports and regular audits, and diversification of funding sources through grants, donations, and supporting business units. The implementation of this strategy can improve the efficiency of budget allocation, strengthen accountability, and support the sustainability of institutional operations. With these steps, AKPER Buntet Pesantren can optimize its financial management and increase its competitiveness in the world of nursing education.

Abstract

Character education is a demand in national education to build and cultivate good character in students. This research aims to find out the character values in the story of Muhammad Al-Fatih and how to implement the values of character education in the story of Muhammad Al-Fatih in today's education. This research uses qualitative methods which produce descriptive data through two types of approaches, namely library research and field research. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, interview and documentation techniques. Interviews were conducted with students and teaching staff. The results of the research show that there are character education values in Muhammad Al-Fatih that are relevant to the 18 character education values according to the Ministry of National Education. The results of field research at MTs Masyariqul Anwar Caringin show that students' attitudes, manners and behavior are improving. Learning the History of Islamic Culture through the exemplary story method of the character Muhammad Al-Fatih integrates 8 character education values, namely religious, discipline, curiosity, hard work, creativity, independence, democracy and responsibility.

Abstract

This study analyzes the readiness, challenges, and strategies of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers in facing the digitalization of learning, comparing traditional and modern pedagogical approaches at SMP Negeri 22 Surabaya. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings show that teachers with modern pedagogical approaches are more digitally prepared, actively participate in online training, and are innovative in creating learning media. In contrast, traditional teachers face digital literacy challenges and tend to be passive toward change. Traditional teachers rely on limited peer collaboration, while modern teachers utilize online training, sharing communities, and independent initiatives. This study highlights the need for structured training and adequate infrastructure tailored to each pedagogical approach and provides a foundation for further research on the effectiveness of digital learning strategies in Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the policies of the Directorate of Islamic Education and Development (DPPAI) at Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) in strengthening the religious values of new students. These policies are implemented through programs such as the Orientation of Basic Islamic Values (ONDI), Basic Islamic Values Pesantren (PNDI), Leadership and Da'wah Training (PKD), as well as Personal Development Training (PPD), which aim to shape students' character in accordance with Islamic values. The research methods include document analysis, interviews, and participatory observation to evaluate the effectiveness of these policies and programs. The findings indicate that these policies have successfully enhanced students' understanding of religion and encouraged them to actively participate in religious activities. Supporting factors for success include the quality of educators, student engagement, continuous evaluation, and support from the university and community. These policies have created a positive impact on shaping students' character to be religious, tolerant, and contributive to society. With ongoing evaluation and adaptation, DPPAI programs are expected to address contemporary challenges and produce a young generation with integrity and leadership rooted in Islamic values.

Abstract

Students who come from disharmonious families often experience psychological disorders that affect their self-confidence and motivation in participating in the learning process, especially in Islamic Religious Education subjects that emphasize character building. This study aims to identify Islamic Religious Education teaching strategies that can increase the self-confidence and enthusiasm for learning of students who come from broken families at SMPN 7 Kota Bima. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that empathy, integration of spiritual values, and role models from educators have an important role in increasing students' self-confidence and interest in learning. Support from a conducive learning environment and personal guidance from teachers also strengthen student participation in the learning process. This study emphasizes the importance of character-based and spiritual learning strategies in the context of inclusive and humanistic education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the policy of strengthening religious values for new students at the Al- Qur'an Science University (UNSIQ) Wonosobo. The research uses a qualitative approach with a field research design to explore the religious strengthening program at UNSIQ. The results of the study show that UNSIQ has implemented a religious strengthening policy aimed at creating an academically excellent environment grounded in religious values. This policy is driven by the need to strengthen students' spiritual character, create a harmonious campus atmosphere, and foster religious awareness. Various activities have been carried out, such as Aswaja training, yellow book studies, worship practices, Mabit (night study), and the obligation to memorize Juz 30 of the Qur'an. Factors supporting the success of this policy include good time management, comprehensive socialization, programs integrated with the curriculum, the availability of platforms for student aspirations, comprehensive policy evaluation, and building interpersonal relationships with relevant parties. Although there are some challenges, UNSIQ remains committed to strengthening the religious dimension of new students as an integral part of the institution's vision and mission.

Abstract

The aim of writing this article is to provide ideas that are able to understand and apply them in learning Islamic Religious Education for generation Z with a multiple intelligence approach by Howard Gardner. There are nine multiple intelligences, namely linguistic intelligence, musical intelligence, logical-mathematical intelligence, spatial intelligence, bodily intelligence, social intelligence, personal intelligence, natural intelligence, and existential intelligence. The method used in the study is a descriptive qualitative research method involving primary data in the form of questionnaires for Generation Z (2011-2012) and interviews with Islamic Religious Education teachers at SMPN 1 Deket. The results show that natural, spatial, interpersonal, and intrapersonal intelligence are the dominant types of intelligence in Generation Z (2011-2012) and it can be concluded that the revitalization of multiple intelligences in Islamic Religious Education is not only relevant to the needs of 21st century learning, but also becomes a strategic approach in forming character and morals in the younger generation holistically.

Abstract

Global changes marked by technological disruption, value crises, and social complexity demand a more integrative and adaptive paradigm in Islamic education. Transdisciplinary Islamic education is offered as a solution that unites knowledge, values, and technology within the framework of Islamic philosophy. This study, through a literature review using a hermeneutic-philosophical approach, formulates the concept both philosophically and applicatively. The results show that transdisciplinary Islamic education is holistic, integrating spiritual, intellectual, and social dimensions; ontologically, it acknowledges the unity of the physical and metaphysical; epistemologically, it incorporates the bayani, burhani, irfani, and tajribi methods; and axiologically, it balances divine and human values. Technology is positioned as a strategic medium for integrating knowledge and values. The implementation model includes institutional reform, thematic-integrative curriculum, problem-based learning, and holistic evaluation. In conclusion, transdisciplinary Islamic education serves not merely as a vehicle for knowledge transfer but as a driver of social transformation and sustainable civilizational development. The study recommends cross-sector collaboration and the development of transdisciplinary competencies among educators as strategic steps for implementation in Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the kyai leadership model and the strategies used by kyai in developing the spiritual intelligence of students of the Raudlatul Hikmah As Syafii Islamic Boarding School. The research methodology used is qualitative descriptive. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and in-depth documentation. The results of the study show that the kyai leadership model in shaping the spiritual intelligence of students includes charismatic and democratic leadership. The strategies applied by the kyai to form the spiritual intelligence of students include the provision of moral education, spiritual assignments, and religious forums. These findings show that the strategy has succeeded in improving the quality of students' spiritual intelligence. The model and strategy applied by kyai in shaping the spiritual intelligence of students at the Raudlatul Hikmah As Syafii Islamic Boarding School proved to be very effective.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas model pendidikan Islam Nusantara sebagai sistem pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai keislaman, keindonesiaan, dan kearifan lokal dalam satu kesatuan filosofis yang kokoh. Berangkat dari pemahaman bahwa pendidikan merupakan sarana penting dalam menjaga kesinambungan sosial dan budaya, pendidikan Islam Nusantara hadir sebagai bentuk adaptasi ajaran Islam dalam konteks pluralitas masyarakat Indonesia. Dengan pendekatan library research dan metode kualitatif-deskriptif, artikel ini menguraikan dua pertanyaan pokok: definisi pendidikan Islam Nusantara dan fondasi-fondasi filosofis yang melandasinya, yaitu historis, teologis, politik, sosiologis, kultural, dan moral. Pendidikan Islam Nusantara tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai wahana transfer ilmu agama, tetapi juga sebagai media pembentukan karakter dan identitas bangsa. Melalui lembaga-lembaga tradisional seperti pesantren dan madrasah, sistem ini telah terbukti mampu mempertahankan nilai-nilai Islam yang moderat, toleran, dan kontekstual. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan pendidikan Islam Nusantara terletak pada kemampuannya beradaptasi dengan perkembangan zaman tanpa kehilangan akar budayanya, menjadikannya model pendidikan yang relevan dan berkelanjutan di era globalisasi
