Abstract

Mastery of life skills needed by young children aims to learn to be independent from an early age, so that they become people who are able to carry out all activities alone without the help of others. The use of media in the learning process is an important component in learning because it can influence students' psychology and make them more motivated in the learning process. This research aims to analyze the need to develop effective learning media in improving the life skills of students at the Alam Matoa School Kindergarten. This research is qualitative research with a survey method. Data collection techniques are interviews and document analysis. Based on the research results, the problems found include: 1)The life skills possessed by students are not yet proficient in several aspects of independence, 2)There is no effective learning media available to improve life skills, and 3)There is no visible habit of students to carry out life skills daily. Based on data analysis, effective learning media is needed to improve life skills by carrying out simple practices directly through busy books. This busy book learning media is able to increase independence, can be used with direct practice and used repeatedly.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the features needed by fourth grade students at SDN Laladon 02 in Bogor Regency in mathematics lessons by using an online assessment tool called Wordwall. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) through qualitative and quantitative approaches (mix method). Development model based on Borg & Gall, with some modifications made by Sugiyono. This research only used 8 out of 10 research processes, due to limited time and adjusted to the needs of the research being carried out. The following 8 research steps were used: Gathering requirements, collecting data, designing the product, validating the design, revising the design, conducting initial product trials, revising the product, and using trials. Class IV students were research subjects using one to one evaluation with 3 students and small group evaluation with 10 to 15 students. The data collection process was carried out using a questionnaire. The results of the needs questionnaire show that teachers have not used interactive learning assessment tools in giving grades to students. Teachers still use traditional techniques such as written exams. Evaluation techniques are needed that can help students change their perspective on learning.

Abstract

Lack of student involvement in science learning activities causes learning outcomes to be less than optimal. This study aims to analyze the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on science learning outcomes of grade IV elementary school students. The study used a quantitative experimental method, pre-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest form. The study was conducted for 2 months in grade IV of State Elementary School 3 Rajabasa, Bandar Lampung City. The population of the study was all grade IV students at State Elementary School 3 Rajabasa, Bandar Lampung City. The sample used in this study was all grade IV students at the elementary school. Data collection technique with 25 multiple choice questions, with cognitive development levels C4 and C5 on plant structure and function and plant parts. Data were analyzed using paired sample t-test. The conclusion of the study shows that the PBL learning model can improve the learning outcomes of grade IV elementary school students, with a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.00 <0.05.

Abstract

Young millennial parents face unique challenges in meeting the demands of parenting in the digital era. This research aims to explore the dynamics between authority and involvement in young millennial parents' awareness of child care. Data were analyzed using the multiple regression method to measure the influence of each independent variable on the dependent variable, with correlation data that had been obtained previously. The strength of the correlation was measured using the Pearson correlation coefficient. The findings showed that young millennial parents showed a correlation value (r) between the overall independent variable and the dependent variable of 0.789. In conclusion, the significant relationship between several independent variables and the dependent variable (Long Term Impact) shows the important role of communication, participation and negotiation in children's development. These findings provide new insights into understanding the factors that influence long-term child development.

Abstract

Nano-learning, a part of macro learning, involves small bursts of information into small video (approximately 60 seconds) has gained traction in educational matters. Tiktok, a social media platform known for short form videos, offer an excellent combination to integrate nano-learning into the fashion design classroom. This study explores the potentials of using Tiktok to deliver fashion design content in the classroom in a concise and engaging manner in education. Through a Descriptive Qualitative approach, involving an interview with 20 students who involve in Nano- learning, this study investigates the impact of Nano-learning with tiktok in enhancing students’ understanding of fashion design concepts. Participants were asked to examine their perception about the implementation of nano-learning with tiktok, and its impact to the education in general. Finding suggests that Tiktok Nano-learning is a promising tool for fashion design education in general. Students reported that the short- form video format that they made, made the content more accessible and engaging and enhance their understanding of fashion design concepts. They also appreciated the fact that the implementation of Nano-learning made them more creative and understand the content more. However the study also identified challenges, such as the potential for information overload, and the need for careful curation in the collection of the content. Overall the study demonstrated the potential of Tiktok Nano-learning to revolutionize fashion design education in summary. Leveraging the platform popularity and engaging format, educators can maximize the effective learning experiences that cate to the needs of the students for better classroom environment.

Abstract

Batik is a decorative design made using wax as a color blocking material, so that the dye will not come into contact with the part of the fabric covered in wax during dyeing. In general, the process of making batik uses a tool in the form of a canting. With the new batik innovation, cold nights can be used as an alternative to make the batik making process easier and faster. In the textile science course, students learn how to dye fabric. One way to understand the coloring process is to do cold night batik training. The results of the cold night batik training are so that students can improve their batik skills.
