Abstract

Kurang diperhatikannya kegiatan pembelajaran mengakibatkan kurang berkembangnya kreativitas siswa. Tujuan artikel ini adalah menganalisis strategi guru dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa Tingkat menengah atas. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan mix methods yaitu penelitian kuantitatif variabel kreativitas menggunakan skala RIB (Runco Ideational Behaviour Scale), dengan instrumen yang digunakan yakni kuesioner dengan variabel peran guru skala dengan metode penilaian skala likert. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji linieritas, uji korelasi product moment dan uji korelasi ganda. Metode selanjutnya kualitatif dekriptif dan analisis regresi linear yang digunakan dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS ditunjang dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI dan XII. Hasilnya yakni upaya guru dalam meningkatkan kreativitas diantaranya peran guru sebagai sebagai Inspirator, dimana peran guru membantu siswa dalam membuka fikirannya untuk lebih terbuka dalam pengambilan keputusan. Kedua peran guru sebagai motivator yang dapat menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri dan siswa dapat memahami tindakan apa yang harus dilakukan. Ketiga guru sebagai organisator dan pengelola kelas harus mampu menjadikan suasana kelas yang menyenangkan dengan memanfaatkan sarana prasarana, media dan sistem pembelajaraan yang sesuai bagi siswa. Implikasi yang didapatkan yakni guru-guru memiliki cara khusus untuk mengeksplore kreativitas siswa.

Abstract

The low collaboration ability and learning outcomes of Pancasila Education are caused by the appropriate learning model and the learning method is still rote memorization. The purpose of this research is to determine the differences in student learning collaboration skills between groups of students taught with the TGT learning model and groups of students taught with the conventional learning model, differences in Pancasila education learning outcomes between groups of students taught with the TGT learning model and groups of students taught with conventional learning model, differences in collaboration skills and Pancasika education learning outcomes between groups of students taught using the TGT learning model and groups of students taught using the conventional learning model. This type of research is quasi-experimental research. The research design used was post-test only control group design. Data collection methods use test and non-test techniques. Data were analyzed using Manova. The research results showed that there was a significant influence of the problem-solving-based TGT learning model on collaboration skills and Pancasila Education learning outcomes. With the TGT learning model, students get direct learning experience so that learning is more interesting and can improve collaboration skills and student learning outcomes. From the data, it is recommended that teachers use the TGT learning model in teaching Pancasila education in elementary schools to improve collaboration skills and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Learning media is a tool that can help in the learning process in class so that the message's meaning is clearer and the educational or learning objectives can be achieved effectively and efficiently using learning media; it is easier for teachers to convey learning content. The learning media used by teachers is limited to printed books. Teachers must utilize existing technology, resulting in a need for more flexibility in the learning process and student learning independence. This research aims to produce comic products that have been tested for validity, practicality, and effectiveness in promoting student learning independence. The ADDIE development model guides this research. Research subjects include material experts, media experts, and students. The data collection method is a questionnaire method in the form of a five-point rating scale. The research results showed that the assessment from material experts was 0.96875, the assessment from learning media experts was 0.941667, and the assessment results from students were 99.04%. The effectiveness test results obtained significance (2-tailed), a result of 0.000<0.005, so h0 was rejected, and he was accepted. Based on this analysis, it can be concluded that virtual book-based comics in IPAS content are declared valid, practical, and effective for learning and increasing students' learning independence. This research implies that virtual book-based comics can be used as learning media for students in the learning process.

Abstract

Kehadiran kurikulum merdeka yang memadukan IPA dan IPS menjadi IPAS. Pembelajaran IPAS dalam kurikulum merdeka memberikan keluasaan siswa untuk belajar sesuai dengan kesanggupannya. Namun kenyataannya, kegiatan belajar yang berfokus akan guru masih berlangsung dan minimnya inovasi pembelajaran, sehingga hasil pembelajaran IPAS kelas IV masih rendah. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbasis TPACK terhadap hasil belajar IPAS. Penelitian termasuk kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasi – Experimental Design). Desain quasi – experimental yang dipakai ialah Posttest - Only Design with Nonequivalent Grubs. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 54 siswa terdiri dari kelompok kelas eksperimen dan kelompok kelas kontrol. Metode pengumpulan data melalui angket, observasi, dan tes. Analisis data dengan Independent Sample T – test. Hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbasis TPACK terbukti memberi dampak yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPAS. Pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna dan menarik sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbasis TPACK efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the pedagogic competence of PAI teachers in applying varied learning models on student motivation and learning outcomes. The background of this research is the need for more varied learning strategies to improve student motivation and learning outcomes. This study uses a quantitative approach with a multiple regression method. The subject of the study was grade VIII students at SMPN 2 Beringin Satu Atap, with a sample of 39 students selected through the total sampling technique. Data is collected using questionnaires or questionnaires, tests, and observations. The results of the study show that varied learning models have a positive effect on student motivation and learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the Sig. (2-tailed) values of 0.096 and 0.156 which are greater than 0.05. The conclusion of this study is that the motivation and learning outcomes of students after being given the learning model vary better than before. This study has implications that the application of varied learning can be a reference for teachers in improving learning effectiveness in terms of content, strategies, methods, and teaching approaches.

Abstract

Working students generally find it difficult to divide their time between work and education, resulting in obstacles to students' educational performance. Students often prioritize work over education. Employed students have lower life satisfaction This hampers the university's performance in achieving its goals. The aim of the research is to determine the effect of dual role conflict experienced by working students on academic performance with life satisfaction as a mediating variable. The type of research is quantitative research with an explanatory approach. Research data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires. The sample for this research is all students who study and work at YPPI Rembang University. The sampling technique used a saturated sample of 60 students. Technical data analysis uses PLS-SEM assisted by Smartpls software. The research results show that dual role conflict has no effect on academic performance and life satisfaction. However, life satisfaction influences academic performance. In this study, it was not proven that life satisfaction can mediate the effect of dual role conflict on academic performance. Students must increase their life satisfaction so that their academic achievements become better by achieving cum laude and graduating on time.

Abstract

Saat ini masih banyak siswa yang tidak memiliki keterampilan menulis yang ditandai dengan hasil belajar siswa yang rendah. Hal ini disebabkan karena model pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran yang digunakan kurang tepat sehingga berdampak pada keterampilan menulis siswa.  Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis pengaruh Model Discovery Learning Menggunakan Media Smart Pop Up Book terhadap kemampuan menulis siswa sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif desain penelitian menggunakan model eksperimen. Desain eksperimen yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain quasi eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol non-ekuivalen. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu berjumlah 41 siswa. Teknik sampling yang diterapkan pada studi ini adalah Purposive Sampling. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu tes. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu soal tes. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data yaitu analisis deskriptif kuantitatif, serta statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian yaitu terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam keterampilan menulis siswa setelah menggunakan model Discovery Learning berbantuan media Smart Pop Up Book. Perbandingan Pre-test idan iPost-Test kelas eksperimen menunjukkan perbedaan dengan kategori tinggi. Selain itu, perbandingan Post-test eksperimen dan Post-test control terhadap pengaruh model pembelajaran dengan kategori sedang. Disimpulkan penerapan teknologi digital pada media Smart Pop-Up Book yang diintegrasikan dengan Model Discovery Learning berdampak pada antusias siswa dalam kegiatan belajar.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of speaking skills for students. This is proven by the existence of courses or speaking material that students must master. The reality is, there are still students who have problems or lack skills in speaking. So it is very important for educators to improve students' speaking skills. Therefore, this research aims to recommend learning methods that have been proven to improve speaking skills. This type of research is a literature review study. The instrument used in this research is a documentation study. Articles collected via Google Scholar, ResearchGate, and Sciencedirect search engines. The data sources in this research amounted to 15 articles, 8 articles obtained from Google Scholar, 5 articles from Researchgate, and 2 Scopus articles. The data sources in this research start from 2017 to 2023. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis, namely describing the articles found in accordance with the research objectives. The research results showed that there are 6 learning methods that have been proven to improve students' speaking skills, namely the debate method, Numbered Head method, project-based learning method, based learning method, jigsau method, and stand up category method; 4 learning models that have been proven to improve students' speaking skills, namely the mind mapping learning model, service project-based learning model, Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) model, and Information learning model; 1 learning strategy that has been proven to improve students' speaking skills. based on collective reflection. So, very few scientific publications discuss learning methods that have been used to improve speaking skills among students.

Abstract

Social studies learning activities for elementary school students currently need more self-discipline and competence in teamwork. Even though this ability is required for the 21st century, based on these problems, this research aims to test the influence of the phenomenon-based learning model on self-discipline and teamwork competencies in social studies learning. The type of research used is Quasi-Experimental Design (quasi-experiment) with a posttest-only control group design. The population in this study was all elementary school students, totalling 192 students. The sample for this research was taken randomly (random sampling) with a total sample of 58 students. The method used to collect data is a questionnaire. The instrument used to collect research data was a questionnaire sheet. The analysis used to test the hypothesis is two-way ANOVA. The research results show a significant effect simultaneously and partially with a sig value. < 0.05, there is an influence of Phenomenon Based Learning on self-discipline and teamwork competency in Social Sciences Learning. This research implies that the application of Phenomenon Learning can make it easier for students to learn social studies, which impacts increasing student competence.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum has been prepared to be fully implemented in 2024. These changes often affect the learning instruments used in class.  In facing these changes, schools need to develop additional learning tools in implementing the Independent Curriculum. The aim of this research is to provide a more comprehensive, in-depth and contextual learning experience for students in understanding basic mathematical concepts. This research is development research that develops mathematics learning instruments for fourth grade students in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. The population of this research was 168 students. Randomly, the experimental group only consisted of 30 students, while the students selected as the control group were 26 students. This product was developed using the Plomp development model which consists of 5 stages; initial observation, preparation of product design, product realization, testing, evaluation and revision, and implementation. The research instruments used in this research were observation sheets, questionnaires, pretest and posttest, and interview guidelines. The final product contains learning objectives, learning modules, and assessment instruments. The data analysis techniques used in this research are normality test, homogeneity test, t test, and n-gain score. The n-gain results show the product is in the medium category.  The results of the t-test showed an increase which showed an increase from the pre-test to post-test scores. This means there is change. that valid, practical and effective learning instruments can be developed in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes. Implications of this research can be used to solve practical problems, improve existing systems, or develop new theories.
