Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the differences in the level of self-efficacy of students with academic achievements and non-academic achievements majoring in MIPA and Social Sciences. The research method used is quantitative research using survey methods. The research subjects were taken by purposive sampling technique with a sample size using the Yamane formula of 50 students with academic achievements and 38 students with non-academic achievements. The instrument used in data collection is using a self-efficacy scale. Data analysis used comparative analysis with the Independent Sample T Test. The results of the study show that: 1) The self-efficacy of students with academic achievements is in the moderate category, 2) The self-efficacy of students with non-academic achievements is in the moderate category, and 3) The results of the Independent Sample T Test, the research hypothesis is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is no difference in the self-efficacy of students who achieve academically and non-academic achievers.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the contribution of co-workers social support to the condition of school counselor burnout. This study uses a descriptive correlational quantitative method. The study population was a high school counselor SMAN in Pekanbaru . The sample amounted to 52 people who were determined by the Sampling total sampling technique. The instrument used was co-workers social support questionnaire and burnout with a Likert scale model . Instrument reliability test results co-worker social support 0.959 and burnout conditions of 0.976. The research data were analyzed using simple regression. The research findings show that there is a contribution of co-workers social support to the conditions of school counselor burnout by 37.4%. The implications of the results of the study can be used as an effort to improve the quality of guidance and counseling services, especially in increasing social support for work towards the conditions of school counselor burnout.

Abstract

Students can experience academic stress at different levels, if the academic stress experienced by students increases, it will affect the productive quality of students in carrying out lectures both online and face-to-face, therefore it is necessary to study in depth related to the determining factors of student academic stress to help students deal with the challenges faced during lectures. The strategy used in this study is a type of systematic literature review research using qualitative methods. The approach used in this study is a meta-ethnograph, based on the results of research that students can experience academic stress both online and offline lectures, as for the determining factor of student academic stress, which is not only a factor from within the individual (internal), but can also be influenced by external factors (external). Internal factors are self-efficacy, hardiness, mindset, peer competition, character, changes in life atmosphere, difficulty managing life, low achievement motivation, low self-regulated learning, dependence on gadgets, self-adjustment and physical factors. External factors are low social support, financial problems, less supportive signals when studying online, the cost of spending internet credit increases. For future research, we can present a guidebook related to self-help to help students overcome academic stress.

Abstract

This research was conducted to examine the effectiveness of the implementation of learning in early childhood networks at Umbuik Nagari Kindergarten. The purpose of this research is to effectively implement learning in early childhood networks at Umbuik Nagari Kindergarten. This study uses a qualitative research design with interview techniques to obtain an overview of the learning system at Umbuik Nagari Kindergarten. In this study, the data collection techniques required used the interview, documentation, and observation methods. Then the data were analyzed descriptively. From the research findings that there is no online learning curriculum, limited supporting infrastructure, the ability of educators who are technologically stuttering, lack of communication between educators and parents, lack of support from parents to carry out the online learning process, many parents who do not have outdated communication tools. information, children's interest in learning decreases.

Abstract

This research was conducted to help college students reduce their level of career anxiety about their future orientation. The researcher tries to offer an alternative solution to this problem by developing a career anxiety module about students' future orientation. In this study using the 4-D development model, which includes several stages, namely define, design, development, and disseminate. The instrument used to measure career anxiety is a questionnaire made by researchers. The data obtained was then analyzed using qualitative and quantitative data analysis, the following results were obtained, 1) the results of the validation test from media, material, and language experts, obtained a percentage value of 96% which means the module is feasible to use because it meets the eligibility criteria for module 2) in the module trial with BK UNTIRTA students class of 2018 getting a percentage score of 98.67%, which means the module is in the proper category. Based on these results it can be concluded that the development of a career anxiety module about student future orientation is acceptable for implementation in society.

Abstract

Computer Assisted Instruction as media for Understanding Cultural Diversity contains the cultural diversity concept in Indonesia, equipped with interesting video and animation that can easily understand by student. The purpose of the research  is to produce Computer Assisted Instruction as a computer-based that meet the acceptability criteria. This research use Borg&Gall development model. The results of the qualitative assessment of 2 material and media expert and potential user the result were 90.15% from media experts, 89,6% from material experts and 89.17% from potential users all of the result have criteria “very good, no need to be revised”. Based the results of the quantitative assessment, it can be concluded that Computer Assisted Instruction and Media of Cultural Understanding as media for understanding cultural diversity for students meets the acceptability criteria.

Abstract

Transferable skills are abilities and knowledge that can be used in various jobs and career paths and is related to the career development of students in the era of disruption. School counsellors need to understand student profiles related to these basic skill sets in order to be able to design career development programs that are relevant to today's career dynamics. This study aims to construct a transferable skill scale that can be used as a guidance and counselling assessment tool for student career development. The construction of this scale goes through the stages of 1) aspect construction based on literature studies, 2) item creation, and 3) pilot test. The construct validity test used Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). The results of the CFA show that several dimensions of transferable skills require modification of the model until a fit model is obtained.. Thus the scale has a suitable model for measuring transferable skills, which consist of aspects of 1) Communication Skills (7 items), 2) Management Skills (9 Items), 3) Numerical Skills (5 Items), Creativity Skills (6 Items), Social Skills (6 Items), Critical Thinking Skills (5 Items), and Business Skills (6 Items).

Abstract

Along with technological developments, social media applications have emerged that support the dissemination of content, either in the form of photos or videos, guidance and counseling in schools needs to take advantage of its existence as a friendly and attractive BK service media for students. TikTok and Instagram are the most popular social media among teenagers that can be used as a medium for guidance and counseling services. This quantitative research on counselors or guidance and counseling teachers in East Java aims to capture the most popular use of social media among students. The results of this study describe the opinions of counselors or guidance and counseling teachers regarding the development and use of guidance and counseling media during the pandemic and how to use social media in counseling services. The results of the study became preliminary research in improving the competence of counselors in developing social media for guidance and counseling.

Abstract

The study aimed to discover the effectiveness of training for trainers of peer counselors to improve gender awareness at two Islamic Universities in Banjarmasin City. The study employed a qualitative approach with the true experimental design in the form of a Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design. The study object was gender awareness. Data were collected using the gender awareness scale. The study was conducted in Banjarmasin on students of the Counseling Department of UIN Antasari Banjarmasin and Islamic University of Kalimantan Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjary. The data were analyzed using a T-test. The study discovered that training for trainers of peer counselors is effective to improve gender awareness observed from the significant test difference between the experiment and control groups.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know the relationship between harmonious family with loneliness in 10th  Grade 1 High School Pandeglang. Research conducted using quantitative methods with correlational types. The population in this study were students of 10th Grade 1 High School Pandeglang with a sample of 218 students studied. The sampling technique using probability sampling include simple random sampling. The instrument used to measure harmonious family and loneliness was a questionnaire created by the researcher. By the result of data analysis using statistical method with Product Moment analysis showed that the value of r-count < r-table was 0,01< 0,05 then the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted at a significance level of 5% so that it can be interpreted that there is a relationship between harmonious family with loneliness of the 10th Grade 1 High School Pandeglang in Academic Year of 2022/2023.
