Abstract

In an effort to influence the market to make purchasing decisions, promotional activities (promotional mix) are a better strategy combination, and are entirely planned to achieve sales objectives. Promotion is a form of direct persuasion through the use of various incentives that can be arranged to stimulate immediate purchase or increase the number of goods or use of services by customers or consumers. The research method used in this research is descriptive and quantitative methods. The student population is all Unbari University students, totaling 4,888 people and a sample of 98 people. Based on the results of the research, an overview of promotions, including gifts given, gets the attention or interest of consumers, meaning that sales promotions in the form of gifts are important and one of the things that can influence the decision to use GrabFood. At GrabFood, these prizes can be in the form of promo vouchers and so on. As for the description of the decision to use GrabFood, consumers are interested in buying back in the future which is included in the individual commitment indicator. Furthermore, the results of the study indicate that the results of the t test produce a significance value of 0.000. The coefficient of determination test obtains an Adjusted R Square value of and the results of a simple regression test produce the following regression equation: Y = 23,492 + 0,313 X So it can be concluded that the results obtained indicate that the promotion of GrabFood has a significant positive influence on the decision to use GrabFood for students at Batanghari University Jambi.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know and analyze the influence of inventory turnover and working capital turnover mediating the current ratio on stock price in the cable industry sub-sector on the Indonesia stock exchange. This research used secondary data from annual financial statements and closing stock prices. The sample in the research is the cable industry sub-sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2021 period. The sampling method uses purposive sampling. Data analysis in this research used path analysis with SPSS software. The results of the research inform: ''1) indirectly inventory turnover and working capital turnover mediating the current ratio have insignificant effect on the stock price. 2) Inventory turnover and working capital turnover simultaneously have significant effect on current ratio. 3) Inventory turnover has negative and significant effect on current ratio. 4) Working capital turnover has positive and significant effect on current ratio. 5) Inventory turnover and working capital turnover simultaneously have significant effect on stock prices.  6) Inventory turnover has negative and significant effect on stock prices. 7) Working capital turnover has negative and insignificant effect on stock prices. 8) Current ratio has positive and insignificant effect on stock prices”.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the influence of internal control and competence on fraud prevention to achieve accountability for village fund management in pandemic times. Internal control and competence of village officials become one of the challenges in this pandemic period where the village government is more efficient and effective in using the budget. But there are still factors that cause reduced accountability in the management of village funds caused by the change of village heads that bring an overhaul of their leadership structure. In addition, there are still many activities that are not in accordance with Permendes priority.This resulted in one of the causes of weak internal control and competence possessed by the village apparatus. This study used Purposive sampling in Muaro Jambi district as many as 50 respondents. This research is quantitative research with a causality research design. Cross-section data types and primary data sources. Data analysis techniques using SEM-PLS. The results showed that internal control significantly affects fraud prevention directly, and indirectly affects accountability. Conversely, competence does not affect fraud prevention and does not affect either directly or indirectly on accountability for village fund management. Fraud prevention affects accountability of village fund management.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between training and job motivation at the Department of Culture and Tourism of South Sumatra Province. Saturated sampling was employed, in which all members of the population were used as samples, and a Google form questionnaire was used to gather data, which was then delivered to Civil Servants (PNS) using the WhatsApp social media platform. Multiple linear regression analysis was employed as the analytical technique for this quantitatively descriptive investigation. This study's t test and f test findings suggest that training and job motivation both positively and significantly affect employee performance in this context. This demonstrates that the theory put forth is correct. This study's findings show that training (X1) and work motivation (X2) have a synergistic, beneficial influence on productivity (Y). There is a favorable and substantial relationship between employee performance (Y) and both training (X1) and job motivation (X2) (Y). Training employees on a regular basis helps them do their jobs better, and it also gives them something to look forward to, which boosts morale. Positive workplace attitudes are critical to realizing the agency's vision and fulfilling its mission.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate a strategy for improving the performance of Human Resources (HR) at The Hok Coffee Shop "Kopi Titik Koma" - Jambi City by using SWOT Analysis. Direct interviews, surveys, and observations were used to obtain data which were then analyzed using the SWOT method. The results of this study show that integrative strategies and SO (Strengths and Opportunities) strategies that can be used include developing performance through workshops, collaborating with partners, and maximizing promotions to customers. This research is still limited to the IE Matrix. In the future, a series of strategic management analysis tools can be used to obtain more optimal input for making management decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Effect of Compensation and Career Development on Employee Performance at PT Aburahmi in PALI Regency. This research was conducted on PT. Aburahmi employees at Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir (PALI) jerus. 55 respondents as a sample. The data source in this study were secondary data and primary data using saturated sampling technique. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that compensation and career development have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir (PALI). F test (simultaneous) shows that Compensation and Csreer Development both have an effect on Employee Performance at Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir (PALI). Viewed and the coefficient of determination R Square is 0.274 which means 27,4% of employee performance variables can be explained by compensation and career development as much  72,6% can be explained by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of leaders in changing the economic system towards an advanced Indonesia. This research will use a qualitative approach with a case study method. The qualitative approach was chosen because it allows for in-depth information and meaning about the role of leaders in economic system change, which cannot be captured by quantitative methods. The findings of this research provide a deep insight into the role played by President Joko Widodo in driving change in Indonesia's economic system towards a more advanced Indonesia. Through careful analysis of the data, it can be concluded that strong leadership, clear vision, high commitment to economic development, and the ability to build consensus have been key factors in Jokowi's success.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the effect of recruitment and selection on employee performance at the Abadi Suite Hotel Jambi City simultaneously and partially and how much influence recruitment and selection have on employee performance at the Abadi Suite Hotel Jambi City.The object of this analysis is the Hotel Abadi Suite Jambi City. The sample used in this study were 38 employees at the Abadi Suite Hotel, Jambi City. The method used is descriptive analysis method with recruitment and selection independent variables while the dependent variable is employee performance. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple  linear  analysis, classical assumption test consisting of normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, coefficient of determination and hypothesis testing (f test and t test).Based on the calculation results of SPSS version 22, the correlation between the recruitment variable (X1) is 0.468 and the selection variable (X2) is 0.472 on performance (Y), which means that there is a positive influence between recruitment and selection variables on employee performance and there is a strong relationship between the variables independent and the dependent variable is 71.6%.The conclusion of this study shows that recruitment and selection simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance, partially recruitment and selection have a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the financial performance of district/city governments in the province of Jambi during the period of 2020-2022, measured using the Degree of Decentralization Ratio, Local Financial Dependency Ratio, Local Financial Independence Ratio, Local Own Revenue Effectiveness Ratio, and Expenditure Efficiency Ratio. This research is a descriptive quantitative study that utilizes secondary data from audited Local Government Budget Realization Reports. The results show diverse patterns of financial performance: the majority of district/city governments have a Very Low Degree of Decentralization, Local Financial Independence tends to be Extremely Low with an instructive relationship pattern, Local Financial Dependency is generally high, Local Own Revenue Effectiveness is mostly Very Effective with diverse distributions, and Expenditure Efficiency is generally categorized as Efficient.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are as follows: 1) To determine and describe the product quality, promotion and brand image of Good Day Coffee in Jambi City. 2.) To determine the influence of product quality and promotion on the brand image of Good Day Coffee in Jambi City. The type of data required and collected in this research is quantitative data. The object of this research is Good Day Coffee customers in Jambi City. The data source in this research is Good Day Coffee customers in Jambi City who were taken through interviews by distributing questionnaires, the data and information obtained were analyzed descriptively, to analyze customer responses regarding brand image to purchasing decisions using a 5-choice scale. One brand of packaged instant coffee that is being intensively promoted using television media is the "Good Day" product. This Good Day product is produced by PT. Santos Jaya Abadi. Promotions carried out by PT. Santos Jaya Abadi to introduce new products and maintain its existence in the processed coffee industry. Based on the results of the classical assumption test analysis, it can be concluded that the normality test meets the assumptions indicated by the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test of 0.011 > 0.05. The multicollinearity test did not show a significant effect with a VIF value of 1.070 < 10 and a tolerance value of 0.935 > 0.10. In the heteroscedasticity test, the points on the plot form a pattern, so this shows that each variable contains heteroscedasticity. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis, it was concluded that the regression equation Y = 2.638 + 0.150X1 + 0.329X2. The value of the Coefficient of Determination (R2) is 0,213 which means that variations in changes in Y are influenced by changes in X by 21.3%. So the magnitude of the influence of product quality (X1) and promotion (X2) on the brand image (Y) of Good Day Coffee in Jambi City is 21.3% while the remaining 78.7% is influenced by other factors outside this research such as purchasing decisions, price, personal factors and so on. There is a significant positive influence between product quality and promotion together (simultaneously) on the Brand Image of Good Day Coffee in Jambi City. Partially there is an influence of product quality on brand image. This is indicated by the tcount value of 4.285 > ttable 1.662. Partially there is an influence of promotion on brand image. This is indicated by the tcount value of 3,333 < ttable 1.662.
