Abstract

In an effort to overcome the problem of low interest in learning for class X TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Tuban students in computer systems subjects, the author applies an Open-Ended Problem-Based approach (Open Problem) in the even semester of the 2017/2018 school year. In the first cycle, after implementing the Problem-Based Open-Ended approach, there were 3 students whose interest in learning was very high. In the High category, there are 8 students. In the medium category, there are 20 students. In the Low category, there are 4 students. Meanwhile, for the very low category, there were no students with this learning interest category. In cycle II, after making improvements based on the results of reflection in cycle I, on the implementation of learning with an Open-Ended Problem-Based approach, the increase in learning interest of class X TKJ students became more maximal. In this second cycle, there were 8 students whose interest in learning was classified as very high, this number increased when compared to the first cycle stage which there were only 3 students. In the High category, there were 20 students, this number increased when compared to cycle 1 where there were only 8 students. In the Medium category, there were 8 students, this number decreased when compared to the first cycle which reached 21 students. The decrease in the Medium category is interpreted as positive, because initially 21 students who only got the Medium category, experienced an increase to get the High category of learning interest. In this second cycle, there were no students who got the Low and Very Low categories. The decrease in the number of students in the Low and Very Low categories until it reaches 0 (None), this shows that students' interest in learning really has increased after the implementation of learning using the Problem-Based Open-Ended approach in this second cycle.

Abstract

This research was conducted to see the consistency of scientific approaches in the book of 4th grade students of Elementary School Theme 7 Beautiful Diversity in My Country revised 2017. The purpose of this study is because in the initial analysis in learning 5 sub-themes 1 found that there is no scientific component of raising and communicating. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Sample the data used throughout the learning in each sub theme. Data collection is carried out using instruments guided by Permendikbud number 22 of 2016 which contains 5 components of a cyantifik approach to observing, increasing collecting information, reasoning, and communicating. The stages of data analysis include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.based on the results of research conducted it was found that the scientific approach is quite complete but there is a scientific approach that is not complete.For the most scientific approach is the skill of observing. Every learning contained in every sub theme already exists. For a slightly pailing scientific approach, it is the ability to communicate. For this reason, there needs to be a revision for the Class IV Student Book Theme 7 Beautiful diversity in My Country.

Abstract

Schools as a place for the learning process have a very important position in the world of education. In the teaching and learning process, the teacher becomes a companion role in creating educative interactive situations, namely the interaction between teachers and students, students and students and learning resources and media in supporting the achievement of learning objectives. This study aims to determine the increase in student achievement in class VIII MTs Walisongo Kaliori Rembang for the 2019/2020 academic year. Based on the results of research and discussion, it is shown that the percentage of student learning outcomes who score with very high qualifications is 22.73% or as many as 5 students, high qualifications. by 63.64% or 14 students and students who get grades with moderate qualifications are 13.63% or as many as 3 students and the average value of learning outcomes is 85.68, so the percentage of students who achieve good qualifications has increased by 63, 89%, while the number of students who have not achieved good qualifications has decreased by 36.11%. From the results of this research and discussion, it can be concluded that: (1) Social studies learning activities through Cooperative Learning Type Index Card Match can improve the ability of class VIII MTs students Walisongo Kaliori Rembang for the 2019 / 2020 school year with good, (2) Improving the achievement of class VIII students at MTs Walisongo Kaliori Rembang for the 2019/2020 school year in the material of the Indonesian national movement in fighting for independence.

Abstract

Nationalism is a very important thing for every Indonesian citizen, including students, because without a sense of Nationalism, a nation will lose its identity. Without a sense of Nationalism a nation will never become a unified whole because they do not feel they belong to each other. Therefore, Nationalism is so important in the life of the nation and state. Problems caused by the low Nationalism Attitude of SMK Negeri 1 Tuban students, which is manifested in their actions, often occur, especially in class XI IL-1. Such as truancy, not respecting differences between friends in terms of religion, ethnicity and culture, looking down on one's own culture, being undisciplined, lack of mutual cooperation, often criticizing each other between students, and a series of problems caused by low attitudes. Nationalism for students. Based on the problems that occurred in class XI IL-1, it was decided to overcome the problem of the low Nationalism Attitude of students in class XI IL-1. The author tries to conduct classroom action research by applying the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model in teaching and learning activities on Civics subjects in class XI IL-1 SMK Negeri 1 Tuban. From the results of this classroom action research, positive results were obtained. In the first cycle, students who reached the minimum completeness criteria reached 88.69% of the total number of students, namely 36. While in the second cycle it reached 100%. This student's Nationalism Attitude Assessment uses observation/observation techniques. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Contextual Teaching And Learning learning model in Civics learning can help in instilling the Nationalism Attitude in class XI IL-1 students of SMK Negeri 1 Tuban in the odd semester of the 2018/2019 academic year.

Abstract

Mathematics is the science of logic, abstract objects, concepts that are equally related to each other whose reasoning is deductive. Solving mathematical problems plays a significant role in schools, where students are required to have the skills to solve mathematical problems correctly and thoroughly. In solving mathematical problems linking thinking activities, one of which is critical thinking. Based on the observations that the researchers tried when they were tutoring tutors at one of the students of SMP Negeri 2 Palang, it was found that one of the cases was about students' critical thinking in solving mathematical problems that were still lacking. This can be seen from the number of students who still have not mastered the case on questions and students tend to use the quick formula. Therefore, critical thinking skills in solving mathematical problems need to be studied further. More so seen from the different learning styles of students. For this purpose, researchers are interested in studying the case by giving the title "Profile of Students' Critical Thinking in Solving Mathematical Problems in terms of Learning Styles". The approach used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach. This research aims to describe the profile of students' critical thinking in solving mathematical problems that have visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles. The research results show that the subject's critical thinking skills with visual learning styles can fulfill 5 of the 6 critical thinking markers which include, Focus, Reason, Inference, Situation, Clarity. And the critical thinking ability of subjects with auditory learning styles can fulfill all critical thinking markers which include Focus, Reason, Inference, Situation, Clarity, Overview. And the critical thinking skills of subjects with kinesthetic learning styles can fulfill 3 out of 6 critical thinking markers which include, Focus, Reason, Clarity.

Abstract

The 21st century is the era of globalization characterized by mutual openness and interdependence between countries. As a result of mutual openness and dependence coupled with a very fast flow of information, competence between countries will be even tighter. Global life is both a challenge and an opportunity to gain opportunities for economic development. This is when it is necessary to increase the quality of education in order to create quality human resources. In the 21st century, the human resources needed are those who have the ability to communicate, collaborate, be creative, and think critically. Through the development of SD learning media it is hoped that it can increase student learning motivation so that the results achieved can be maximized. The purpose of preparing this design is to create educational innovation, especially in the learning process through the development of interactive PowerPoint-based learning media through a scientific approach to elementary students. The approach used is Research and Development. With the preparation of educational innovation designs it is expected to be able to improve the quality of education, especially in elementary schools.

Abstract

Abstract This research is motivated because there is saturation of students in listening to the contents of story texts, such as fairy tales. In the learning that has been carried out, the use of technology media has not been maximized, the teacher still looks dominant with the lecture method, so that learning is not optimal. Students need an alternative to make it easier for students to understand fairy tales. The solution that can be offered by the author is the development of existing media, namely animated videos to improve learning to listen to fairy tales for third grade students. The purpose of this study was to develop and test the feasibility and effectiveness of animated videos as learning media to improve the understanding of third grade elementary school students in understanding fairy tales. The data was obtained using the Research and Development (R & D) method, which is a method of developing or perfecting a product to test the effectiveness of a product that has been developed through several stages and can be accounted for. Then for the development design model, using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) and the data collection instrument by distributing questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Based on the results of observations, it can be concluded that the students' responses were very good and they stated that learning to listen to fairy tales using animated video media greatly facilitated them in understanding the contents of the stories from the fairy tales. Abstract

The background of the problem in this study is the low motivation of students to learn which also affects the low student learning outcomes. The use of appropriate media in learning will increase students' learning motivation and create fun in learning activities. In increasing the motivation of a student, it must first create fun in learning, where in creating student fun is by using interactive media in learning, one of which is animated video media. The method used by the author in this study is the research and development method or commonly referred to as the R&D method, which is the method used to develop a product. Thus, the implementation of this research can achieve the research objectives, namely developing animated video learning media products as innovative learning media that are suitable for use in learning for third grade elementary school students. The results showed that the animated video learning media that was developed was declared very feasible to use. Teacher validation showed an average score of 90% in the very appropriate category, and the third grade elementary school student trial showed an average score of 94.5% in the very feasible category. Based on the value obtained, the learning media in the form of animated videos as innovative learning media is appropriate for use in third grade elementary school students and provides changes to increase student motivation.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there is still a lack of understanding of students in the material presented, resulting in students having difficulty solving mathematical problems. The purpose of this study was to test whether there was a significant effect on the implementation of problem based learning with a neuroscience approach on the mathematical problem solving abilities of eighth grade students of junior high school. This research is a quantitative study using a pre-test-post-test control group design experiment. The research population was class VIII SMP Negeri 5 Tuban, with the research sample being class VIII B students as the control class and class VIII F as the experimental class and selected using cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are tests and observations. The data analysis technique used is t-test. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant effect on the implementation of the implementation of problem based learning with a neuroscience approach to problem solving abilities.

Abstract

This Best Practice aims to find out how to use electronic modules (e-modules) in Biology class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Tuban material about Structure and Function of Cells in the Covid-19 pandemic era. The method used in solving this problem is the method of interviewing one group in a certain period of time by using one intervention, namely the use of electronic modules (E-modules) on the structure and function of cells. The results of online interviews using the Teams application with students on average there were positive responses, very happy and with the E-module because the focus was on learning one Basic Competency (KD), lots of color pictures so it was more interesting and also very clear pictures as well as the explanation, as well as the practice questions which are accompanied by answer keys so that they are easy to understand and students can explain critical thinking learning activities for example given pictures of cell organelles students can describe the structure of the existing images and explain their functions, from assignments existing students also more easily understand the concept of cell structure and function. Students' way of thinking also changes, students not only memorize the material but understand the material better. , although there are still some yan g is still below the KKM. Things that need to be fixed, students haven't opened the module, because at that time what was sent was a link, it's possible it couldn't be opened because of several obstacles including the package running out, the signal was disrupted or there was no internet at home. Seeing these conditions, educators change sending files so that they are easy to open and study. This e-module can be opened anytime and anywhere. The use of this E-module is very effective during a pandemic like today, understanding concepts is easier, critical thinking skills are also emphasized, so it can be concluded that E-modules can improve students' critical thinking skills and get positive responses from students.
