Abstract

Redox involves several abstract concepts. This causes students to often experience difficulties and conceptual errors in understanding the concept. The integration of blended learning with the 5E learning cycle is one of the innovations in chemistry learning that can help students understand abstract chemical concepts. The integration of learning is called a learning cycle based on blended learning. This study aims to find out how to improve student learning outcomes for class X redox material at SMA N 1 Tuban with a learning cycle based on blended learning. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The subjects in this study were students of class X MIPA-4 at SMA N 1 Tuban. The research instruments used were learning instruments (syllabus, lesson plans, and learning scenarios, and moodles) and measurement instruments (cognitive learning outcomes tests, observation sheets). Data analysis of the research results was carried out by analyzing student learning mastery. The results of this study concluded that a blended learning-based learning cycle can improve student learning outcomes on redox for class X SMA N 1 Tuban. This can be seen from the learning outcomes in the realm of knowledge, attitudes and skills. learning outcomes in the realm of knowledge showed an increase from pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II. The learning outcomes of the pre-cycle, first-cycle, and second-cycle knowledge domains were 61.91, 74.74, and 84.09, respectively. Mastery learning also increased from pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II, namely 12.50%, 62.50% and 90.63%. The learning outcomes of the attitude domain gave an increase from cycle I to cycle II, namely 66.63 to 67.13. The learning outcomes of the skill domain gave an increase from cycle I to cycle II, namely 73.91 to 74.39.

Abstract

This research was conducted in class XII AKL SMK Negeri 2 Tuban. This research was conducted from October to November 2019 in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 school year. The subjects of this study amounted to 36 students. The object of this research is the active learning of class XII AKL students, in ICT learning activities. This research uses Classroom Action Research. In this study, an observation instrument was used to measure the level of active learning of class XII AKL students. After being applied to cycles I and II, the results showed that in cycle I, the criteria for action research had not yet been achieved. While in the second cycle, the improvement of class XII AKL students has reached the minimum criteria for research success that have been determined. In the Very High category of learning activity, there are 4 students. In the high category of learning activity, there are 27 students. Enough category, there are 3 students. However, there are still 2 students with low learning activity levels. The results in the second cycle is a very rapid increase, the article, in the pre-cycle and first cycle, there is not a single student with a very high level of learning activity. On the other hand, at the pre-cycle stage, there were as many as 80.6% of students who got the Low category of learning activity in learning activities.

Abstract

Folklore is a cultural heritage that holds many implicit and explicit meanings. The Ministry of Education and Culture in 1982 published a book entitled "Bengkulu Regional Folk Stories" with 20 stories in it. This study aims to determine the content of the educational principles of Ki Hajar Dewantara in Bengkulu folklore. This type of research uses the literature study method. Collecting research data using documentation study techniques. While the analysis of this research data using critical analysis techniques. Folklore that contains many values ​​of human life, including educational values. Ki Hajar Dewantara is an Indonesian education figure who initiated five principles of education for Indonesia. There are 20 stories from Bengkulu folklore which contain the educational principles of Ki Hajar Dewantara

Abstract

Contextual Storytelling in its activities in the classroom can help improve students' speaking skills which are defined as the efforts made by storytellers in conveying feelings, ideas or a story to children orally. Storytelling is very useful for teachers because it can be a motivation to develop awareness, expand the imagination of children, parents or activate storytelling activities on various occasions. However, the problem that occurs related to English subject activities is that many of the students are not able to speak English. This is evident when the teacher invites them to communicate in English, many of them cannot respond and do not understand what is being explained. This inability is suspected because they are not used to communicating in English, the teacher's teaching methods are not appropriate, and their environment is not supportive. Learning activities begin with giving narrative text as information that is known to students. Through this activity students are able to use English to express feelings, opinions and thoughts. Thus, the message to be conveyed will be easier for students to understand. Of course this will be very effective if applied in learning.

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the important sciences learned by students. However, in learning, most consider it a very difficult subject, because in learning mathematics there are many formulas and calculations that occur to solve problems and mathematics is one of the subjects shared by students because in mathematics lessons only find numbers, formulas, and graphs. This makes students less interested and boring. It is undeniable that the learning media used in learning will affect students' interest in learning and understanding concepts. the use of learning resources is still limited to the use of materials in the form of textbooks. This study aims to determine the level of validity, practicality and effectiveness of animated video learning media. This study aims to determine the validity of the development of animation video mathematics learning media assisted by Adobe After Effects based on Problem Based Learning for junior high school students. This research is an R&D (Research and Development) research. The development model used in this study is a 4-D model which is divided into 4 stages, namely, the Define, Design, Development and Disseminate stages. Media testing was conducted in class VII D involving 25 students. The results of the practicality test based on the learning implementation sheet obtained a score of 3.72 while based on the response questionnaire, a percentage of 64% of good responses was obtained. So that the videos developed are practically used for learning.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the results of observations by researchers at MTs Hidayatul Mubtadiin Sarang Class VIII-B, where information was obtained that during the Covid19 pandemic students studied online which made students bored and did not understand learning material, especially mathematics. Therefore, making this media is very suitable for learning during a pandemic like this. With media that uses smartphone applications, it is hoped that students will be interested in understanding the concept of learning mathematics, especially in this number pattern material even better. The product produced in this research is an Android-based media for realistic mathematics learning, namely software (software) with the extension *apk which can only be run on the Android operating system. This study uses an R&D model which has 4 stages, namely the define stage, the design stage, the develop stage and the disseminate stage. Research and development is understood as a research activity that begins with research (research) then continues with development (development). Media developed using the construct 2 application. The media that was developed was then tested for validity until it was declared valid and then implemented to determine the practicality and effectiveness of the product.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of learning evaluation, and how teachers ensure that evaluation has a real impact on learning development. The target in this study is the MA Matholi'ul Huda Bugel. Learning evaluation essentially aims to improve the quality of learning, therefore evaluation is very important. Learning evaluation is carried out with the overall principle. continuity and objectivity. Providing learning motivation is one way to optimize student learning outcomes. In addition to theoretical learning, biology subjects also use practicum learning, with this teachers can observe student learning development from various aspects so that both results can be used as a benchmark for teachers to ensure that learning evaluation has a real impact on learning development and not just meeting administrative requirements.

Abstract

The annexation of students' reading comprehension skills is very helpful in improving student learning outcomes, so that reading skills must be mastered by students who are in elementary school. descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques obtained from observation, tests, and interviews. The observation process is intended to obtain responses from the subjects and objects of research on the ongoing learning process. The interview process aims to obtain more detailed data regarding the application of the K-W-L method. On the test technique to obtain the extent to which the learning outcomes obtained by students after using the K-W-L method for Indonesian language material. The data analysis technique used was Milles's technique, namely 1) Putting together all primary data and secondary data, primary data was obtained from observations and tests and secondary data was obtained from the results of interviews conducted by researchers with class III teachers. 2) Data reduction or classification and elimination of data that is less needed by researchers. 3) Presentation of data, namely describing data descriptively. 4) Draw final conclusions. The results of the research are the application of the K-W-L method in learning Indonesian which is able to improve students' reading comprehension skills. This is evidenced by the average Pre-Test score of 70 increasing to 82.40. So it was concluded that the K-W-L method increased student learning outcomes in terms of the KKM limit that was exceeded, namely 31.60% to 84.20%.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of mind mapping and contextual teaching-learning models on HOTS fifth-grade students and measure the effectiveness of fifth-grade student learning before and after being given treatment. This research was conducted at SDN Gedongombo 3, 4, and 5 in Tuban Regency on thematic theme 9, sub-theme 1. This research was a quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sampling technique was purposive sampling involving fifth-grade students at SDN Gedongombo 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. The data collection technique was carried out using tests, questionnaires, observation, documentation, and hypothesis testing using simple linear regression. Based on the results of the linear regression calculation, the sig(2-tailed) value was 0.036 <0.05 and the ttest value was 2.202 > ttable 2.048 in the experimental group 1 and the sig(2-tailed) value was 0.001 <0.05 and the ttest value was 6.357> ttable 2.035 in experimental group 2 so that it shows that the mind mapping and contextual teaching- learning models have an effect on the HOTS of fifth-grade students at SDN Gedongombo 4 and 5. The effect size test results of the mind mapping model are 2.21116 and the contextual teaching-learning model is 2.14928 which is the second These results include the category of strong effects.

Abstract

Life in the 21st century demands various skills that a person must master in order to become a competent, competitive and successful person in life. known as 21st century skills. One of the 21st century skills that is very important for students is critical thinking skills. The aim of this research is to develop iSpring Suite 8 interactive power point learning media based on scientific literacy to improve students' critical thinking skills. The development of iSpring Suite 8 interactive learning media based on scientific literacy to improve students' critical thinking skills is research and development (R & D) by applying the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate . The ADDIE model was chosen because of its systematic and interactive structure where the evaluation results of each stage can lead development to the next stage. The results of stage 1 analysis are used as a reference in stage 2 (design). This article examines the results of the learning media development process at stage 1 (analyze) and stage 2 (design).
